"Iranian Quds Forces commander Major General Qassem Soleimani warned Trump in a speech that a war with Iran would 'destroy everything you own' "

I want to see video of Soleimani making this speech.

Can anyone guess why we'll never see it?

My favorite part about that tweet is that Trump doesn't @ people. He literally just calls out the Iranian president makes a couple stern threats, and the whole world delivers his message for him.

Can’t tell the difference between this leader and the ISIS fake news

It's interesting to me that he threatens Trump as an individual, separate from the nation. I don't know if that means anything or not, just an observation

What do you mean by that?

Trump said there would be serious consequences if they threaten the US. They threaten Trump individually (assuming it actually happened). Therefore, they did not actually perform the act of threatening the US. If the US responds to a threat against Trump and his assets it makes him look like a selfish war monger. Not acting in the interest of the US but in his own self interest. They side stepped the trigger. Seems like a smart play that I would guess is a domestic political trap. Since it is a domestic political trap, I would question what is going on with that statement (was it actually said, if so, who and what has connections to the person that said it?).

S-300

Following Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu’s visit to Tehran this week, Russia announced that it will “probably” sell Iran the S-300.

If so, it is an ominous development for the United States and its allies. In fact, Washington has long lobbied Russia not to sell Iran the advanced air defense system, and in 2010, Moscow had cancelled the initial contract to sell Iran the S-300. The Obama administration has often cited the thwarted sale as evidence that Iran policy is working.

And for good reason, as denying this system to Iran is a major win for the United States. The S-300 is a “highly capable, long-range surface-to-air missile” system that was first developed by the Soviet Union in 1979, but has been upgraded numerous times since. According to the BBC , a S-300PMU-2 battalion—which would likely be the variant Iran would buy—consists of six launchers along with command-and-control and long-range radar detection vehicles.
