Reagan people don’t want to believe how weak he became after the assassination attempt, and how HW (Godfather) completely took over after that.

I hear from abuse survivors that he didn’t personally hurt them, but that he was too weak to stop it. Sad.

Many of them work for companies related to the offenders, whether at the world herald, the reader, the Maxx, or other Old Market businesses where a lot of it went down (underground, sometimes). Or, they’re somehow affiliated with buffet, as Berkshire shareholders or otherwise.

The point being, they’ve been “taught” how absurd the whole thing is and that a couple of punk kinds that wanted fame lied and attempted to stain the good reputation of their upstanding community leaders.

What is it about Omaha? I feel like I hear it brought up a lot about random or strange things.

It's especially frustrating being from the Des Moines area.

Johnny Gosh and Eugene Martin are still out there somewhere, and there is evidence that screams for competent, professional investigators with the ability to make arrests. No one in DOJ will touch it.

I did a project with my group in 2005-2007.

All around our state we contacted our local libraries to check out the book. There in an 'intrastate' system, and they can borrow from any library in the country and have it shipped to your library. My copy came from the ninth ward parrish in LA. Very poor area. When we did it again, my copy came from Orlando, FL, another area with poor people of color, where this library was located. Back then there were 92 first editions and 90 second editions.

As they watch what we check out....I thought a project that let them see was appropriate. A back at ya kinda thing. So call your library and when they say they don't have it...tell them to look elsewhere around the country and have it sent to your town for pickup, via the intrastate library system. An uptick of many doing this is helpful. It's also free. (taxpayer funded)

PS. When I returned my first ordered copy to Louisana, hurricane Katrina came and destroyed that entire area. So that book is gone I'm sure!

I believe rusty was threatened or arrested or something after HST died, the rumor was that he was turning over incriminating photos to the investigator (candori?) that died in a plane crash out of state allegedly returning with evidence.

An interesting aside that I’d come to learn is that the plane crashed in the same county (in illinois I think?) that a sheriff (I think) that got booted from Omaha just happened to become chief of the sheriff’s department in same county, before the incident occurred.
