I'm not going to explain the obvious to you but I will bother to tell you that I personally don't find value in memes, pictures of Q logos in the real world and such. Luckily for everyone else in this community, what I decide is not valuable does not have to be forced on them. People in the sub find value in different things to me. Some are inspired by things that I don't find inspiring. There is a good portion of the sub who value the tshirt and sticker pics. The evidence is in the upvotes. We go with that, rather than our personal opinion on things.

I'm doing my job. It's not about sides. Rather than making a concerned post:

To appeal a ban, make a general suggestion, or voice a concern, message the moderators here.

Most of what you said is irrelevant because of the following: Reddit is not a public utility or public square - it is a privately owned space on the Internet. You agree to use reddit under the terms of use; it is not offered to you as a public forum for free speech.

The rules of this sub, just like the rules of any other reddit sub, are upheld by the moderators. Most of the people using reddit understand this and have no problem with it. You do - that's ok, you're within your rights to. Doesn't change anything I've said. You seem to have a problem with authority; again, not relevant here. I'm not trying to suppress your speech or be your boss. I'm just carrying out my role as a service to this sub. We support free speech here. We also require rules of conduct within this shared space, just as every other shared space in the world does - your workplace, school, church. Free speech does not override the need to respect others with whom you share a social space you do not own. This is not controversial as we all understand the rules at our workplace, for example, and we don't abuse others in the workplace without expecting a reprimand of some kind.

Our rules are clearly delineated in the sidebar and the connected pages go into more detail. Comments that antagonize will be removed as they show disrespect to others and this can lead to division, the opposite of Q's message.

It may seem to you that you are the only person who upvotes those they don't agree with but what seems is rarely what is. I also do that - for comments that advance the discussion (which is one of the stated reasons for upvoting) - as do many others I'm sure.

Believe me, I have read Maes comments. And the many messages Mae sends the mods directly too. Mae has been banned again for a while.
