Under fire Australia Post CEO’s big payday

 

The embattled chief executive of Australia Post could be in line for a $1 million payday if she is forced to stand down.

 

Scott Morrison’s decision to “humiliate” Australia Post CEO Christine Holgate in Parliament over four Cartier watches could end up costing taxpayers over $1 million.

 

News.com.au has confirmed that Ms Holgate’s employment contract stipulates she cannot be terminated without giving six months notice or being paid six months of her salary.

 

The CEO’s base salary is $1.5 million - suggesting a minimum payout of $750,000 for Ms Holgate to walk away - but she has regularly earned over $2 million during her three-year tenure.

 

And to make matters worse, any golden handshake for Ms Holgate could climb even higher, with her employment lawyer noting that the Prime Minister had “humiliated” her by demanding in Parliament that she stand down or “she should go” with no legal basis.

 

The statement clearly implies Ms Holgate intends to pursue damages if she is forced to leave the business as a result of the fallout over the Prime Minister’s demands she stand aside as CEO while an investigation is conducted into the purchase of four Cartier watches for $20,000.

 

“It is now exactly seven days since Ms Holgate was the subject of a humiliating answer during Question Time,” Ms Holgate’s lawyer Bryan Belling wrote.

 

“It is incumbent on the board to formally notify Ms Holgate that she has been stood down, and this notification must stipulate the grounds for this action.”

 

Australia Post executives now believe there is little prospect of a “happy ending” over the affair with Ms Holgate now at odds with the Prime Minister and the Australia Post board who are insisting she agreed to stand aside in a verbal conversation last week.

 

In the most recent comparable case, former ABC managing director Michelle Guthrie ultimately reached a settlement with the national broadcaster for $1.64 million.

 

Ms Gurthrie was on a fixed-term contract, which Ms Holgate is not, but her annual salary of $900,000 when she was sacked by the ABC was substantially lower than Ms Holgate’s annual remuneration.

Florida Man Charged With 100 Counts Of Child Pornography

 

RUSKIN, Fla. — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Ruskin man after detectives located dozens of photos and videos of child pornography on multiple electronic devices inside his residence.

 

A court-authorized search warrant for the suspect’s home was executed yesterday, October 28, 2020. Detectives found several phones in the suspect’s residence that contained images of child pornography. Ryan Graham, 43, was arrested and charged with 100 counts of Possession of Child Pornography.

 

“Our detectives worked quickly to identify this suspect and put him under arrest after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “His repugnant behavior has landed him behind bars on no bond. There is no question, this man will be charged to the fullest extent for the way he exploited children.”

 

Graham also had an outstanding warrant out of Polk County. He remains at the Falkenburg Road Jail on no bond.

Rudy Giuliani Urges Attorney General Bill Barr to Subpoena Joe Biden's Personal Records

 

Hunter Biden was a director on the board of Burisma - a Ukrainian-owned private energy company while his father was the Obama administration's point man on US-Ukrainian relations. Hunter was also a board member at private equity fund BHR Partners, which is backed by some of China's largest state banks and local governments.

 

Rudy Giuliani called on the federal government and US Attorney General Bill Barr to subpoena records concerning Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden's holdings to discover if any of the money used to pay for them came from his son Hunter's overseas businesses.

 

Giuliani told Fox Business: "We could subpoena the records of Joe's houses and see how many of the houses did Joe pay for, and we could subpoena the bank records and see if any money came in from Hunter."

 

The government and Attorney General Bill Barr are "nowhere" and no answers have come "because the media is crooked" and government officials are "too intimidated" to do anything, alleged the former New York City mayor.

Giuliani spoke with Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo about Hunter Biden's laptop. The New York Post reported on 22 that a laptop allegedly belonging to Democratic nominee Joe Biden's son contains messages about Hunter Biden's Ukrainian business deals as well as photos of the 50-year-old doing drugs. The laptop in question is currently believed to be in the possession of the FBI.

 

Giuliani told Fox Business that the laptop under investigation "demonstrates overwhelmingly" that Hunter Biden is a "danger to the children he lives with," and repeated an allegation he made last week that there are images of child pornography on the computer.

 

Bartiromo said she wants to know if Joe Biden is compromised by China, and Giuliani agreed that he is "to the extent they're stealing our country."

 

"They've stolen all our intellectual property and now they have stolen our free speech and they're putting a man in the White House who is a complete crook who has the degenerate family and to boot he isn't even here," said Giuliani. "He is not even here. This is like a movie."

A woman working with top Democratic lawyer Marc Elias engaged in voter intimidation in Pennsylvania, Republican congressional candidate Sean Parnell's campaign has alleged.

 

Emily Resko, an intern for Parnell's opponent Rep. Conor Lamb (D., Pa.), posted pictures of voter rolls on Snapchat with the caption "im about to see how alllllll you fuckers vote," according to images obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

 

After tens of thousands of voters received the wrong ballots, Parnell asked courts to mandate poll watchers at satellite voting locations in the district. Resko said the Lamb campaign picked her to assist Elias, a leading Democratic campaign lawyer, in opposing Parnell's request.

 

In reaction to the news, Resko wrote on Snapchat: "[S]o how about because of my internship, me and this other boy were picked tonight to LITERALLY BE ASSISTANTS UNDER THE LAWYER ON THIS POTENTIAL CASE. I'M SO FUCKING EXCITED fuck parnell and his voter supression." That message contained screenshots of tweets from Lamb and Elias. "[I] literally get to gather data for this case this is amazing im excited ok bye sorry."

 

Resko also said she had access to voter files, which "give me full access to the voting history of ALL residents in the 17th congressional district." Later, she sent a message containing a partial spreadsheet in which she wrote that she was "about to see how alllllll you fuckers vote."

 

"I recently received from a constituent in PA-17 credible evidence of voter intimidation," Parnell wrote on Twitter Wednesday. "I consulted with law enforcement and determined that the best course of action was to turn the evidence over to the United States Attorney's Office for the Western District of Pennsylvania."

 

The U.S. attorney's office did not respond to inquiries by press time.

 

Elias, a partner at Perkins Coie law firm's Washington, D.C., office, is considered Democrats' go-to lawyer. He is actively involved in a number of election-related lawsuits across the country.

 

Lamb is locked in a tight race with Parnell in Pennsylvania's 17th Congressional district, which includes Pittsburgh suburbs. The race is considered one of the most competitive in the country.

 

Elias, Resko, and the Lamb campaign did not respond to requests for comment.

Joe Biden: Golden Rule Means We Need Mask Mandates Nationwide

 

Former Vice President Joe Biden called for mask mandates nationwide as a manifestation of the Golden Rule in a column published by the Christian Post on Thursday.

 

In an editorial titled, “The greatest commandment has guided my politics,” Biden wrote, “Loving God and loving others [are] at the very foundation of my faith. Throughout my career in public service, these values have kept me grounded in what matters most.”

 

Biden points to the biblical precept to love one’s neighbor as oneself as the moral premise of government decrees for mask-wearing. He called for a de facto national mask-wearing mandate while describing the wearing of masks as an expression of “love” for others in the context of the coronavirus outbreak. He repeated his promise to pressure governors and mayors to issue such mask mandates if elected president:

 

To beat COVID-19, we must all work together to pull our country out of this crisis. We must all wear masks. It’s not a political statement — it’s a manifestation of God’s commandment to love our neighbors as ourselves, so we can save lives. The domains’ names include terms such as “preteen,” “schoolgirl,” and “child” alongside graphic terms for genitalia and words like “rape” and “love.” It’s unclear what, if anything, is currently being served at the domains. However, an analysis of metadata collected years ago from one by archive.org shows dozens of filenames and links containing highly suggestive terms, including “xxxpreteen,” “children,” and sexual references to girls aged 12 to 15.

 

Some of the domains date back to the late 1990s and may no longer be active, while others currently resolve to IP addresses controlled by Watkins’ company, N.T. Technology, according to records compiled by Farsight Security, a cybersecurity company that archives historical routing data detailing relationships among domain names, IP addresses, name servers, and other digital assets.

Thirty-Five Defendants, Including Ring Leader, Prosecuted in Major Take Down of International Drug Trafficking Organization Based in Lane County

 

PORTLAND, Ore.—U.S. Attorney Billy J. Williams announced today that members of a major international drug trafficking organization, including one of its ringleaders and sources of supply from Mexico, have been charged with distributing methamphetamine, heroin, and fentanyl into Oregon between 2018 and 2020.

 

A federal grand jury in Eugene has returned a one-count indictment charging Victor Diaz-Ramirez, 30, who was residing in Mexico, with Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine. This Indictment is part of a much larger investigation into the large-scale distribution of drugs into Oregon from Mexico by the drug trafficking organization led by Diaz-Ramirez (“the Diaz DTO”). According to court documents, the Diaz DTO has been operating at least since 2018. The Diaz DTO imported drugs into the United States from Mexico, transported them from California to Oregon hidden inside vehicles, then distributed them throughout Oregon from its distribution cell located in Lane County.

 

The government’s investigation has resulted in the prosecution of 35 individuals (listed below) who are members or associates of the Diaz DTO. The scheme involved shipment of drugs from Mexico into Southern California by Diaz-Ramirez and others, where they were subsequently transported in large wooden boxes by couriers to Oregon and delivered to co-conspirators operating a distribution cell. There, the drugs were divided and prepared for distribution in large pound quantities for delivery to local distributors in Eugene, Springfield, and Salem, for eventual redistribution to their local customer base. During its investigation, law enforcement seized from the Diaz DTO over 260 pounds of methamphetamine, 16 pounds of heroin, 6 pounds of fentanyl in the form of 4000 fentanyl pills, 76 firearms, 1 grenade, multiple vehicles, and more than $760,000 in cash used to facilitate drug transactions.

All of the defendants charged in the bank fraud conspiracy, as well as AKBAR and SMITH, have also been charged with aggravated identity theft.

Complaint: Biden Center Recieved $22 Million In Donations From Unidentified Chinese Donor

 

The Biden Center at the Univ. of Pennsylvania received $22 million in anonymous donations from China, yet the US Dept of Education won't compel them to who donated the money. As questions loom about the Biden family’s deep connections to the Chinese Communist Party, news comes that the Biden Center for Diplomacy & Global Engagement at the University of Pennsylvania has received $22 million in donations over six years from anonymous Chinese donors. With just days to go before one of the most critical elections in modern times, requests by the National Legal & Policy Center (NLPC) to the University of Pennsylvania and the US Department of Education to release the names of those donors have been denied.

 

The NLPC filed a complaint with the Department of Education citing the donations because federal law requires universities to publicly disclose any donations over $250,000. The NLPC said that despite this federal disclosure requirement the Department of Education will not compel the Biden Center to disclose the donor list. “The University of Pennsylvania and the Penn Biden Center are particularly vulnerable to China government influences due to the large amounts of China donations and contracts,” the complaint reads. Paul Kamenar, NLPC’s attorney, sounded the alarm in questioning why the University of Pennsylvania isn’t being transparent about the donations and why the Department of Education would let them get away with keeping this information from the American people. “Why aren’t you releasing this information so we can see who these Chinese sources are and how much money is being funneled to the Biden Center?” Kamenar asked. “You have to scratch your head and say, ‘What’s going on here?’” According to the financial documents associated with the complaint filed with the Department of Education, money streamed into the university after the Penn-Biden Center opened. In May of 2018, a $14.5 million anonymous donation was received from China.

 

Once Joe Biden announced he was running for President of the United States, more money flowed into the university’s coffers. It is unclear just how much money went directly to the Penn-Biden Center. Tuesday, Tony Bobulinksi, a former business associate of the Bidens, went on the record to explain the Biden influence enterprise and why he believes the Bidens – and specifically Joe Biden – have been compromised by the Communist Chinese. Bobulinksi, in an appearance on Tucker Carlson Tonight, said he believes a “President Biden” would be compromised – or vulnerable to control – by the Communist Chinese citing questionable financial transactions.
