Text of a Notice on the Continuation of the National Emergency with Respect to Serious Human Rights Abuse and Corruption

ALL NEWS

On December 20, 2017, by Executive Order 13818, the President declared a national emergency with respect to serious human rights abuse and corruption around the world and, pursuant to the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (50 U.S.C. 1701 et seq.), took related steps to deal with the unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security, foreign policy, and economy of the United States.

The prevalence and severity of human rights abuse and corruption that have their source, in whole or in substantial part, outside the United States, continue to pose an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security, foreign policy, and economy of the United States. For this reason, the national emergency declared on December 20, 2017, must continue in effect beyond December 20, 2020. Therefore, in accordance with section 202(d) of the National Emergencies Act (50 U.S.C. 1622(d)), I am continuing for 1 year the national emergency declared in Executive Order 13818 with respect to serious human rights abuse and corruption.

This notice shall be published in the Federal Register and transmitted to the Congress.

Therefore, I have determined that it is necessary to continue the national emergency declared in Executive Order 13818 with respect to serious human rights abuse and corruption.

Former Facebook fact checker reveals that social media is being used as a weapon to force compliance with global communism and medical Marxism

A former Facebook Fact Checker came out and revealed how “fact checking” really works. The details were published on LinkedIn by Jean-Pierre “Raven” Gregoire. Facebook is rapidly censoring anyone who doesn’t go along with controlling guidelines. Facebook will only allow information on covid-19 if it supports the narrative of shut-down-mask-up-separate-isolate-and-vaccinate. Facebook’s belligerent censorship of health freedom advocates, conservatives and patriots is only the beginning. Facebook is being weaponized to manipulate users into intellectual submission — forcing acceptance of left-wing policies, medical Marxism and global communism via “The Great Reset.”

“I can’t say this on Facebook, but I feel it’s important to say. I was a Facebook Fact Checker. And your conspiracy theories about Facebook, are more true than you realize,” wrote Gregoire, who worked as a third-party contractor for Appen, a Facebook Fact Checking organization. The company is located in Canada and coordinates with a company in India to stifle the free speech of Americans.

Facebook singles out conservative, patriotic, and health freedom posts and feeds them to foreign “fact checkers”

Gregoire said that Mark Zuckerburg cannot directly censor anyone on the platform because Facebook is an open platform. Instead of censoring people outright, Facebook uses several third-party companies to “Fact Check.” This is how Facebook censors its users legally and controls the narrative across the social media landscape. But the censorship is bigger than Zuckerburg and his views.

Facebook, like other Big Tech companies, controls a significant portion of information that people see and read on a daily basis. Knowing this, special interests, governments, and those with political and business interests are constantly trying to influence the leaders of Facebook. If these special interests can restrict the flow of competing information and snuff out dissent on important topics, then they can successfully brainwash entire swaths of people into accepting their plans, products and visions.

This corruption and manipulation show no semblance to a free market. Shutting down the free flow of ideas is oppressive and un-American. Facebook and other Big Tech platforms have become weaponized thought control systems used for tyrannical means.

Police Discover Ghost Boat Carrying 1,430 Pounds Of Cocaine

A boat with a record 1,430 pounds of cocaine washed up on a remote atoll in the Marshall Islands after potentially spending years drifting in the Pacific Ocean, numerous sources reported.

Marshall Islands Police believe the cocaine haul is the largest ever found, and likely drifted across the Pacific from Central or South America to the Ailuk atoll, CBS News reported. The boat was an 18-foot fiberglass vessel, and the cocaine was hidden in a compartment beneath the deck.

The drugs were stored in packages weighing roughly two pounds, and were marked with the letters “KW.” U.S. Drug authorities were given two of the packages to analyze, while the rest of the cocaine was incinerated.

Although the latest cocaine discovery at the Marshall Islands was the largest, drugs have been found washed up in bundles in the last two decades.

The island faces a cocaine problem that police believe is related to the professionally wrapped cocaine that occasionally arrives on the its shores. In May 2016, nearly 40 pounds of cocaine was discovered at the nuclear weapons test site atoll. Two years earlier, an El Salvadoran fisherman washed up in the southern Marshall Islands after drifting for over a year from the Mexican coast.

Law enforcement theorized that the drugs arriving at the shores were likely part of an operation that was botched.

Nearly 85% of cocaine seized in 2018 was from the Americas, with 55% from South America, according to the Independent.

Apple officially launched iOS 14.3 Monday, and with it came an update to the App Store that promises to forever change the way you look at your downloads. Now, when you pull up an app, Apple offers a detailed list of "how developers may handle your data[.]" And when it comes to Facebook's family of apps, oh, man, do they ever handle it.

Facebook, of course, owns both Instagram and WhatsApp (as well as Oculus and scores of other name-brand services). But let's look at just the main Facebook app first. Here, for your viewing pleasure, is user data which Facebook confirmed to Apple its "privacy practices may include handling[.]"

Fair warning: It's a lot. From the (hopefully) obvious like your phone number and contacts, to the more eyebrow raising like your "precise location," "sensitive info," "audio data," and "emails or text messages," Facebook has its fingers in a lot of your pies.

Facebook, apparently, didn't take too kindly to having its pants pulled fully down by Apple. According to Bloomberg, Facebook ran a full-page advertisement in the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, and the Washington Post lambasting Apple for having the gall to highlight what Facebook does with user data.

Of course, Facebook didn't exactly frame it that way. Instead, the company couched its opposition as a bold stance in favor of "small businesses everywhere."

Facebook has a long history of being less than fully forthcoming, so we'll let you judge the ad's veracity yourself.

“No Guns” Signs Posted Around Virginia Capitol Area In Richmond ~ Deception

Richmond once again abuses its power – this time to mislead citizens on their rights.

We knew that the more tyrannical localities would abuse their power to prohibit guns in certain areas, and they did. Alexandria, Arlington, Falls Church, Fairfax County, Charlottesville, and the City of Richmond used every bit of power they had to ban guns everywhere they could and with no exception for even CHP holders.

But Richmond wants to push the tyranny envelope even further by having “No Guns” signs posted permanently on the streets around the Capitol area.

The intent of the signs is to purposely mislead gun owners so they don’t lawfully carry in that area.

The signs have a huge gun with a red slash over it and large letters that say, “NOTICE: FIREARMS PROHIBITED BEYOND THIS POINT”

Meanwhile, in the fine print at the bottom of the sign it says, “Many events using this place or another place open to the public immediately adjacent to this place are either permitted events or would otherwise require a permit. During these events, the possession, carrying, or transportation of firearms, ammunition, or components or combination thereof is prohibited.”

Those of you who are Virginia Citizens Defense League members know that sign is meaningless unless there is an actual event in progress, without even reading the fine print. You also know that the police policy is to give verbal warning before taking any action. But, non-members probably won’t know that. They will see that big gun with the red slash over it and the firearms-prohibited notice and believe they can’t carry on that part of the street, ever.

Pretty slimy, but I would expect no less from Mayor Stoney. Just a strong reminder of why we need to repeal the law that permits local gun-control.

Detroit asks federal judge to impose sanctions against pro-Trump lawyer Sidney Powell over 'Kraken' lawsuit

They're demanding fines and a ban

The city of Detroit, Michigan, asked a federal judge to impose sanctions against Sidney Powell over her lawsuit alleging massive voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election.

Powell has made headlines for her "Kraken" lawsuits meant to prove allegations of voter fraud that flipped the election and concluded in a fraudulent defeat of President Donald Trump. While she was originally counted among the president's legal team, they later distanced themselves from Powell.

Among those lawsuits was one alleging voter fraud perpetrated by officials in Detroit. The city responded in a scathing filing that excoriated Powell on December 2.

"Few lawsuits breathe more lies than this one. The allegations are little more than fevered rantings of conspiracy theorists built on the work of other conspiracy theorists," said the filing.

"Plaintiffs rely on affidavits of so-called 'experts' — really confidence men who spread lie after lie under cover of academic credential — which misstate obviously false statistics. These 'experts' use academic jargon as if that could transmute their claims from conspiracy theory to legal theory," they added.

That lawsuit was ultimately rejected.

David Fink, an attorney for Detroit, petitioned U.S. District Judge Linda Parker to impose sanctions on Powell based on federal Rule 11 which forbids lawsuits to be filed "for any improper purpose, such as to harass, cause unnecessary delay, or needlessly increase the cost of litigation."

The motion asked for fines to be levied against Powell, as well as a ban against practicing in the Eastern District of Michigan.

"Plaintiffs and their counsel understood that the mere filing of a suit (no matter how frivolous) could, without any evidence, raise doubts in the minds of millions of Americans about the legitimacy of the 2020 presidential election," wrote Fink.

Powell has a three week window to rescind her lawsuit and avoid the sanctions, but when Forbes inquired about that possibility, Powell said she would not withdraw the claims.

But that is an overstatement, according to a team of 10 independent cybersecurity experts who specialize in voting systems and elections. While the voting machines themselves are not designed to be online, the larger voting systems in many states end up there, putting the voting process at risk.

That team of election security experts say that last summer, they discovered some systems are, in fact, online.

“We found over 35 [voting systems] had been left online and we’re still continuing to find more,”Kevin Skoglund, a senior technical advisor at the election security advocacy group National Election Defense Coalition, told NBC News.

The three largest voting manufacturing companies — Election Systems &Software, Dominion Voting Systems and Hart InterCivic — have acknowledged they all put modems in some of their tabulators and scanners. The reason? So that unofficial election results can more quickly be relayed to the public. Those modems connect to cell phone networks, which, in turn, are connected to the internet.

The largest manufacturer of voting machines, ES&S, told NBC News their systems are protected by firewalls and are not on the “public internet.” But both Skoglund and Andrew Appel, a Princeton computer science professor and expert on elections, said such firewalls can and have been breached.

“AT&T and Verizon and so on try and protect as best they can the security of their phone network from the rest of the internet, but it’s still part of the internet,” Appel explained. “There can still be security holes that allow hackers to get into the phone network.”

The 35 systems Skoglund’s team found represent a fraction of total voting systems nationwide, though he believes they only captured a portion of the systems that are or have been online. Earlier this week,Skoglund showed NBC three election systems were still online even after officials had been told they were vulnerable.

Australia's media has faced "persistent efforts" by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to influence and censor content, according to a new report from an Australian think tank.

President Trump is asking about a special counsel to investigate Hunter Biden’s business deals with China and tax allegations.

Hunter Biden revealed last Wednesday that he is under investigation by the feds over his taxes.

“I learned yesterday for the first time that the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Delaware advised my legal counsel, also yesterday, that they are investigating my tax affairs,” Hunter Biden said. “I take this matter very seriously but I am confident that a professional and objective review of these matters will demonstrate that I handled my affairs legally and appropriately, including with the benefit of professional tax advisors.”

Hunter Biden is also under federal investigation over his China business dealings – This was previously reported by James Rosen at the Sinclair Group.

The federal investigation into Hunter Biden and his associates focused on allegations of money laundering began back in 2018.

According to CNN, Joe Biden, AKA “The Big Guy” who got between 10% and 50% of Hunter’s money from foreign countries is not implicated.

President Donald Trump is considering pushing to have a special counsel appointed to advance a federal tax investigation into the son of President-elect Joe Biden, setting up a potential showdown with incoming acting attorney general Jeffrey Rosen.

Trump — angry that out-going Attorney General William Barr didn’t publicly announce the ongoing, two-year investigation into Hunter Biden — has consulted on the matter with White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, White House counsel Pat Cipollone and outside allies.

That’s according to several Trump administration officials and Republicans close to the White House who spoke to The Associated Press on the condition of anonymity to discuss private matters.

The AP also reported that Trump is interesting in appointing a special prosecutor to investigate the massive voter fraud that took place in the 2020 election.

President Trump has support from Republican lawmakers.

Senator Lindsey Graham said he is also calling for a special prosecutor to investigate Hunter Biden’s business deals with China.

Intel community assessment delayed amid dispute over whether China sought to influence 2020 election==

The intelligence communities classified assessment on foreign threats to the 2020 U.S. elections was set to be released by Dec. 18. It is unclear how long the report will be delayed.

The 2020 Intelligence Community Assessment focused on foreign election influence will be delayed, Fox News has learned, amid a dispute between senior intelligence analysts over whether China sought to influence the election.

"This afternoon the DNI was notified by career intelligence officials that the Intelligence Community will not meet the December 18 deadline, set by Executive Order and Congress, to submit the IC’s classified assessment on foreign threats to the 2020 U.S. elections," Amanda Schoch, Assistant DNI for Strategic Communications said in a statement to Fox News.

"The IC has received relevant reporting since the election and a number of agencies have not finished coordinating on the product," Schoch continued. "The DNI is committed to providing this report to our customers expeditiously."

The report was expected to be released by Friday, but sources familiar told Fox News that there is a dispute within the intelligence community over what should be included in this 2020 ICA.

Sources told Fox News that a number of senior intelligence analysts are "adamant" that China sought to influence the 2020 presidential election, while a number of others are downplaying China’s activities surrounding the election.

Some analysts claim that China’s efforts were "minimal" or only plans that ultimately were not acted upon, while others are arguing there is "ample raw intelligence" about China’s intentions and actions.

Bloomberg first reported the dispute.

When asked where Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe stands, a senior intelligence official told Fox News that "all that Ratcliffe wants is for the intelligence to be reflected accurately and honestly with regard to China and everything else."

An intelligence official with experience in analytic disputes told Fox News that "proper analytic tradecraft would stipulate that when there are competing views like this, that both views should be captured in the report."

Trump Cuts Off California Over Newsom’s Abortion Mandate

Feds to withhold $200 million amid conscience-protection dispute

The Trump administration announced Wednesday that it is withholding hundreds of millions of dollars in Medicaid funding from California over the state's abortion insurance mandate.

The administration will withhold $200 million in Medicaid funding because of a state regulation that requires health insurers to cover elective abortions. The announcement marks the culmination of a yearlong conflict between the administration and Democratic governor Gavin Newsom over the regulation, which the White House said violates federal conscience laws.

"We have informed California that this policy clearly violates federal conscience laws, but the state refuses to fix the issue and comply," Department of Health and Human Services secretary Alex Azar said. "Accordingly, we plan to withhold $200 million in federal Medicaid funds from the state in the first quarter of 2021, and unless California amends its policies, we will seek to withhold an additional $200 million every quarter until it complies."

The Newsom administration criticized the move as "presidential overreach."

"It's wrong that the Trump Administration would threaten Californians' health just to score cheap political points—and during a global pandemic," Newsom said in a statement to the Washington Free Beacon. "We will continue to stand up for reproductive health and push back against this extreme presidential overreach."

In January, the Trump administration informed California that the state is in violation of federal law by requiring health insurance providers to cover abortion services. California instituted the regulation in 2014. Two religious institutions in the state filed complaints with the Health and Human Services Department's Office of Civil Rights, and the department completed an investigation and threatened the state with funding cuts.

Newsom defended the requirement at the time.

"California will continue to protect a woman's right to choose, and we won't back down from defending reproductive freedom for everybody—full stop," Newsom said.

The announcement comes as President-elect Joe Biden announced the selection of California attorney general Xavier Becerra (D.) to succeed Azar as head of the Department of Health and Human Services. Republican lawmakers and pro-life groups have criticized the pick, jeopardizing Becerra's chances of being confirmed by the Senate.

The Biden transition team and Becerra's office did not respond to requests for comment.

Biden championed Hollywood's entry into Chinese markets during the Obama administration. Katzenberg accompanied the then-vice president to multiple junkets to China, while Iger helped Biden negotiate with CCP strongman Xi Jinping. The regime not only expanded Hollywood's access in Beijing but also offered DreamWorks a $330 million joint venture with a Chinese state-owned enterprise in 2012—a deal that later became the centerpiece of the SEC probe.

Katzenberg donated $617,800 to the Biden Victory Fund and hosted several events for the president-elect. Iger, who is also reportedly under consideration to become America's ambassador to the United Kingdom, shelled out $250,000 to back Biden.

The Biden transition did not respond to a request for comment.

Some lawmakers are already pushing back on Biden's turn to Hollywood to defend U.S. interests against an increasingly aggressive rival. Rep.
