Drop 55 has us all looking to Twitter for THE SIGN. We have been asking who will be sending the message, since DJT has been banned. I propose this: What if "Twitter" was a misdirection, but everything else was fact? Follow me from the left's point of view.

 

If "QANONS" are looking for the Twitter message about THE STORM, then @Jack thinks he can shut down the signal by banning Trump and all his closest allies and all the "QANON" followers. If all the Twitter accounts are shut down and no one can tweet the message, then Q is a liar. This is how the brain damaged left thinks.

 

However, the heart of the drop is the message itself, not the mode of communication.

 

My personal opinion is that the message will come directly from DJT himself, and not by Twitter. Twitter was a misdirection. This Anon believes the message will come from the Emergency Broadcast System. Look to Twitter. Look here, not there.

The Air Force and Army have disciplined 17 senior officers, including the three-star general in charge of logistics, for poor oversight in connection with the mistaken shipment of fuses for nuclear warheads to Taiwan.

 

Saying he could not ignore the "breaches of trust that occurred on their watch," Acting Air Force Secretary Michael Donley laid out what in some cases were career-ending punishments Thursday for six Air Force generals, ranging in rank from one to three stars, and nine colonels. Two Army two-star generals have also been disciplined.

 

Speaking to reporters during a Pentagon press briefing, Donley said that, in taking into consideration the future needs of the Air Force, two major generals in the group have been asked to stay on in their jobs.

 

The Air Force chief of staff, Gen. Norton Schwartz, who also was at the briefing, said those two officers have unique skills and knowledge critical for the nuclear mission.

 

But, Schwartz added, "they certainly are on notice that there is no room for error here and that, should they abuse this trust, it won't take but about a millisecond to react."

 

Generals disciplined

The Army, meanwhile, said it disciplined two brigadier generals who worked at the Defense Logistics Agency and were in charge of the military's 26 shipping centers.

 

Army spokesman Paul Boyce said that while neither officer was directly responsible for the shipping error, they had not fully corrected problems in the supply system that had been identified in earlier audits.

 

All 17 officers received disciplinary letters, but they varied in seriousness from reprimands, which are the most severe, to letters of admonishment, memorandums of concern and letters of counsel, which are less serious.

 

The officers are mainly in logistical jobs and were involved to some degree in the mistaken shipment to Taiwan of four electrical fuses for ballistic missile nuclear warheads in 2006. The error did not become known until this past March.

 

Schwartz, who met with each of the Air Force generals personally, said that while the officers were not accused of any intentional wrongdoing, they "did not do enough to carry out their leadership responsibilities for nuclear oversight. "For that they must be held accountable."

 

Both Donley and Schwartz gained their jobs as a result of the incident. Defense Secretary Robert Gates sacked Gen. Michael Moseley, then Air Force chief of staff, and Air Force Secretary Michael Wynne, blaming them for failing to fully address a series of nuclear-related missteps, including the mistaken shipment.

 

Report blasts performance

Gates acted swiftly after Navy Adm. Kirkland Donald completed a sharply critical internal report on the shipping incident that found "a decline in the Air Force's nuclear mission focus and performance" and a failure by Air Force leaders to respond effectively.

 

The Air Force generals who were disciplined were:

 

Lt. Gen. Kevin J. Sullivan, deputy chief of staff for logistics, who received a letter of reprimand and is retiring.

Lt. Gen. Michael A. Hamel, who was commander of the Space and Missile Systems Center. He received a letter of admonishment and had already planned to retire.

Maj. Gen. Roger W. Burg, commander of 20th Air Force, who received a letter of admonishment. He will remain in his current job to correct problems.

Maj. Gen. Kathleen D. Close, commander of the Ogden Air Logistics Center. She received a letter of admonishment and will stay on.

Brig. Gen. Francis M. Bruno, director of logistics for Air Force Materiel Command. He received a letter of admonishment and was already retiring.

Brig. Gen. Arthur B. Cameron III, was commander of the 309th Maintenance Wing. He received a letter of admonishment and had already been reassigned.

 

The Army generals are:

 

Brig. Gen. Lynn A. Collyar, who commanded the Defense Distribution Center from August 2006 to June 2008.

Brig. Gen. Michael J. Lally III, who commanded the center from August 2004 to August 2006.

In addition, five colonels received letters of reprimand, including two who were removed from commands. Three other colonels received letters of admonishment, and one colonel received a letter of counseling.

General Sullivan entered the Air Force and was commissioned through the Air Force ROTC program following graduation from the University of Connecticut in 1974. He has held various assignments with Tactical Air Command, Strategic Air Command, Pacific Air Forces, U.S. Air Forces in Europe, Air Force Materiel Command and Headquarters U.S. Air Force.

 

He has held numerous maintenance and logistics assignments including command of an aircraft generation squadron. He has also served as Director of the Reconnaissance Systems Program Office, Vice Commander of the Air Armament Center and Air Staff Director of Logistics Readiness. Prior to his current assignment, General Sullivan commanded the Ogden Air Logistics Center at Hill Air Force Base, Utah.

Always chomping at the bit to say who is or who isn't a true patriot.

The reality is that people live complex lives and while we may agree or disagree with their choices - the only reason you are even hearing about it and pretend to care is because a decision she made contributed to something you perceive as damaging to you.

 

The reality is that there were plenty of people who were patriots who broke into the capitol. In a world where the boston tea party and washington's raid crossing the delaware were acts of patriotism, it is difficult to turn around and say that the people who were breaking into the capitol were not patriots.

In response to a deluge of comments, the United States Treasury Department's Anti-Money Laundering office is slowing its roll on a rushed proposal to monitor a whole new range of cryptocurrency transactions.

 

On Thursday, the Treasury's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, or FinCEN, announced that it was extending the window on comments in response to a rule originally announced two days before Christmas and less than a month before a new administration takes over.

 

The rule as originally proposed sought to add new thresholds for registered money services business — i.e., crypto exchanges — transacting with self-hosted wallets, which are only identifiable by their keys. The proposal provoked an uproar from the cryptocurrency community, which saw it as a violation of the tenets of peer-to-peer transactions as well as the procedural rules that govern U.S. regulators.

 

The original comment period extended for only 15 days, many of which were holidays. Today's extension represents a huge victory for the crypto industry. By the office's account: "FinCEN appreciates the robust responses already provided by commenters and has reviewed more than 7,500 comments submitted during the NPRM’s original comment period."

 

With the inauguration of Joe Biden just six days away, the Treasury's leadership is likely to see a major changing of the guard. Few predict Janet Yellen, Biden's nominee to replace current Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, to be as hawkish about such transactions.

 

FinCEN seems to have given special credence to arguments that there are different thresholds at play between applying bank-style provisions on cash transactions as opposed to foreign transaction-level thresholds to crypto wallet exchanges. Currently, a bank has a duty to report any withdrawal or deposit of more than $10,000 in cash. Meanwhile, the infamous Travel Rule dictates that any transaction of more than $3,000 coming into or leaving the United States needs to pass along identifying information about the transactors.

 

Consequently, FinCEN is giving an 15 days to respond to the $10,000 threshold and an extra 45 to respond to the $3,000:

 

"FinCEN is providing an additional 15 days for comments on the proposed reporting requirements regarding information on CVC or LTDA transactions greater than $10,000, or aggregating to greater than $10,000, that involve unhosted wallets or wallets hosted in jurisdictions identified by FinCEN. FinCEN is providing an additional 45 days for comments on the proposed requirements that banks and MSBs report certain information regarding counterparties to transactions by their hosted wallet customers, and on the proposed recordkeeping requirements."

FinCEN had not responded to Cointelegraph's request for comment as of publication time.

 

Joining the proposed crypto monitoring thresholds was another new proposal from FinCEN that would require disclosure of offshore crypto accounts holding more than $10,000.

I know you people invested a lot into this Q theory/movement emotionally. I'll preface what I say by explaining my points. I voted for Trump in 2016. I wasn't able to watch the election night frenzy as it occurred. It was fun and uplifting to see all of the YouTube meltdowns thereafter when I was able to watch what occurred, day after election. It's still funny to look back and watch that, how Trump trolled everyone.

 

I feel bad for my near end of life parents. They have both been 100% strong Trump supporters. I myself was glad he was elected but tend to work a lot and not follow the day to mechanics of politics. Politics is a dirty dirty game. During the run-up to the elections in 2016 I was on multiple platform supporting Trump and spreading the message (Spirit cooking, I will Die for Her, Ping Pong Pizza, etc ) and all of the other professionally created memes that were circulating. It was fun. I remember when Q started and from time to time I would check in over the years.

 

I always assumed Q was President Trump himself, with plausible deniability and still think it is/was but I was never drawn into the Q movement. And felt maybe it was true, maybe not, Only time will tell. But people, if you had to wait in a parked car on the corner for someone to return….. how long are you going to wait before you understand that they are not coming back with your money and you've just been ripped off????? I am sure a few of you over the years have arranged a date with a romantic interest at a restaurant/cafe/bar/gym and then had them not show. How long do you sit around and wait??? 1 hour?, 2 hours? Let say you've tried to call, no answer, when does your concern turn into understanding that you've just been stood up by your date????

 

My mother called me in a panic a few days ago, and she is an elderly woman in her 70's now. She heard, somehow, there was going to be an Emergency Alert, Martial law, she needed to withdraw her cash from the bank, she was fearful she needed to defend herself with firearms, to also buy two weeks to a month of groceries, she has followed this very very closely, being retired, and kinda alone, she follows right-media, different right-ppl on her forms of social media, and yesterday she alluded to suicide because everything was going to shit.

 

During the McCain Rommey/McCain election I was so busy I didn't even know a presidential election occurred, I didn't even know the Sandy Hook shooting occurred, I didn't watch movies due to a grinding work schedule and running a company 24/7/365 and it was complete bliss. However these past few years it has been damn near unavoidable to escape the politicization of the news, social media, and the electronic devices we all carry with us now. And it has been FUCKING agony.

 

The reality needs to be faced, Trump didn't expect to lose, and the Q/Trump narrative was completely unprepared for this. Trump has by all measure lost, and he has conceded his loss. Trump is currently packing up the personal and business items that remain within the Whitehouse and he is already preparing a life after the Presidency, I'm certain he doesn't want too and this leave the Q movement left to fall flat on it's face. I can't bring back all of the people I have read in the media that have committed suicide, the families that have suffered domestic violence, the murder-suicides that have occurred due to the corona virus pandemic BS. I myself have worn a mask but maybe 10 times because I needed to shop at PetSmart or go into a store.

 

BUT NOTHING MAGICAL OR POSITIVE IS GOING HAPPEN, PRESIDENT TRUMP IS NOT GOING TO SAVE THE DAY, THE US MILITARY ARE NOT GOING TO SWOOP IN AND ARREST ANYONE, Q IS GOING TO GO SILENT AND ALL OF THE MILLIONS OF PEOPLE THAT BELIEVED IN THIS Q DEBACLE ARE GOING TO BE LEFT HANGING OUT TO DRY AS IF THEIR DATE JUST STOOD THEM UP AT AN EXPENSIVE RESTAURANT

Bumble removed its political filter after people used it to lure conservatives who were at the Capitol riot into sending incriminating evidence

 

The dating app Bumble temporarily suspended its political filter in the US after multiple people tweeted about using it to find conservatives who took part in last week's Capitol insurrection and turn them into law-enforcement authorities.

 

On January 7, a day after the pro-Trump riot, Alia Awadallah, a woman in Washington, DC, tweeted: "There are DOZENS of men on DC dating apps right now who were clearly here for the insurrection attempt."

 

"Some say it directly, others are obvious from MAGA clothing, location tags, etc. Is that info useful at all for law enforcement?"

 

When someone later sent her the FBI tips website, Awadallah said she had submitted some evidence.

 

Since the attack on the Capitol, the FBI has been asking the public for "tips and digital media depicting rioting and violence" in and around the complex on January 6. As of this Wednesday, just over 100 people have been arrested.

 

Another Twitter user, Allison Norris, responded to Awadallah saying that she knew of someone who had changed her Bumble profile to conservative in order to find Republicans who took part in the storming of the Capitol.

 

"She's matching with the MAGA bros and they're bragging and sending her pics and videos of them in the Capitol. She's sending the to the FBI," Norris said.

 

Norris' tweet was liked more than 27,000 times as of Friday morning, with John Sipher, a former CIA spy, commenting: "Well played."

On Thursday, Bumble users started to notice that the political identification filter had been removed from the dating app.

 

The company responded by saying that it had been temporarily taken away "to prevent misuse," adding that it had "already removed any users that have been confirmed as participants in the attack of the US Capitol."

 

Insider has contacted Bumble for comment.

 

In a statement to Mashable, Bumble explained that after the breach, it "ensured that our hate speech scanning and protocols addressed the attack on the US Capitol and began removing any insurrection-related content from our platform."

Dutch government collapses in fall out from child benefit scandal

 

The Dutch government has resigned in the wake of the childcare benefit scandal after an official report said ministers, civil servants, parliament and even judges had a role in the affair, which left parents powerless to fight back when accused of fraud. The collapse of the four-party coalition had been widely expected by commentators, and had been given extra impetus by the decision of Labour party leader Lodewijk Asscher to resign on Thursday. Asscher was social affairs minister at the time of the scandal, in which thousands of families were wrongly accused of defrauding the tax office and ordered to pay back benefits, causing many acute financial problems. Prime minister Mark Rutte was known to want to stay on to tackle the coronavirus pandemic, but other party leaders, such as D66’s Sigrid Kaag, said earlier that ‘political consequences’ from the report are unavoidable. Ministers will stay on in a ‘demissionair‘ or holding function until the general election on March 17. This means they will be unable to take decisions deemed by the upper and lower houses of parliament as controversial.
