Investigators for Attorney DePerno Reportedly Discover Modem Chips Embedded in Michigan Voting System Computer Motherboards

 

Friday’s release by Attorney Matthew DePerno on his ongoing election fraud investigation was explosive.

 

For months the companies behind the computer voting systems claimed their computers did not have internet access.

Which is why we weren't surprised to see a brand new report noting that due to the pandemic (and the ensuing global 'stimulus' response) more people than ever are falling out of the middle class. Published by Bloomberg, the report defines 'middle income' earners as those making from $10 to $20 per day, smoothed out across geographical borders. Those making $20 to $50 per day are considered "upper middle income".

 

These two brackets make up 2.5 billion people, or about 33% of the world's population. And of that group are numerous stories from numerous countries of what Bloomberg calls "hard won successes that evaporated overnight".

Only COVID Vaccinated People Can Be Evacuated from Volcano Stricken Caribbean Island of St. Vincent

 

The La Soufrière volcano erupted Friday morning on the island of St. Vincent in the eastern Caribbean, prompting evacuations–but only for those who can prove they have been vaccinated against the COVID-19 China virus, CBS News and other outlets reported.

The New York Times reported the vaccine mandate for evacuations was announced by St. Vincent Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves:

 

Prime Minister Gonsalves said on Thursday that in order to board the cruise ships sent to evacuate people from the island, evacuees must be vaccinated, while the nearby island nations that are planning to accept refugees will also require vaccinations. He also recommended that those who arrive in shelters on St. Vincent be vaccinated.

 

Islands that have said they would accept evacuees include Antigua, St. Lucia, Grenada and Barbados.

 

A poster on Twitter noted the vaccine mandate excludes just about the entire population, given that only about ten thousand have been administered a first dose but not a second out of a total population of about 110,000 for St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

 

Meanwhile at the U.S. border with Mexico, Joe Biden is letting in tens of thousands of migrants with no COVID testing and no proof of vaccination.

Tensions high ahead of #WhiteLivesMatter rally in California: KKK and BLM expected to show up

 

Police are gearing up for trouble in Huntington Beach, California, ahead of a ‘White Lives Matter’ rally. Ku Klux Klan fliers have been spotted in the area, and Black Lives Matter activists are planning a counter-protest.

 

“There will be a large contingent of police officers” deployed in Huntington Beach on Sunday, police Lt. Brian Smith told local media. The ramp-up comes in response to a ‘White Lives Matter’ rally, expected to kick off at Huntington Beach Pier in the afternoon.

 

The protest was seemingly organized on social media, but only caught the attention of the press when Ku Klux Klan fliers were distributed around the area last weekend. The KKK group, calling themselves Loyal White Knights, are one of the largest of the handful of Klan groups still operating in the US, and its members have taken part in various ‘White Lives Matter’ rallies in recent years, as well as the infamous 2017 ‘Unite the Right’ rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.

 

With Klansmen expected to show up, ‘Black Lives Matter’ activists have organized a counter-protest, led by a BLM chapter head and member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).

However, the Orange County NAACP put out a statement on Saturday distancing the organization from the counter-protesters. “While the OC NAACP applauds the efforts of peaceful protest nationwide,” the statement read, “we would never impede on anyone’s right to freedom of speech.” The Black Lives Matter Global Network has also discouraged counter-protesting.

 

The First Amendment protects free speech and assembly in the US, including Ku Klux Klan rallies. While Huntington Beach Police officers will be out in force on Sunday, they will not be there to shut down the rally, but to respond to any violence or lawbreaking that may take place. Likewise, three local Democratic lawmakers released a statement on Friday condemning the rally, but acknowledging “the rights of all Americans – even the vilest racists out there – to express their opinions.”

AMSTERDAM — Investigative site Bellingcat is the toast of the popular press. In the past month alone, it has been described as “an intelligence agency for the people” (ABC Australia), a “transparent” and “innovative” (New Yorker) “independent news collective,” “transforming investigative journalism” (Big Think), and an unequivocal “force for good” (South China Morning Post). Indeed, outside of a few alternative news sites, it is very hard to hear a negative word against Bellingcat, such is the gushing praise for the outlet founded in 2014.

This is troubling, because the evidence compiled in this investigation suggests Bellingcat is far from independent and neutral, as it is funded by Western governments, staffed with former military and state intelligence officers, repeats official narratives against enemy states, and serves as a key part in what could be called a “spook to Bellingcat to corporate media propaganda pipeline,” presenting Western government narratives as independent research.

An alarming number of Bellingcat’s staff and contributors come from highly suspect backgrounds. Senior Investigator Nick Waters, for example, spent three years as an officer in the British Army, including a tour in Afghanistan, where he furthered the British state’s objectives in the region. Shortly after leaving the service, he was hired by Bellingcat to provide supposedly bias-free investigations into the Middle East.

Former contributor Cameron Colquhoun’s past is even more suspect. Colquhoun spent a decade in a senior position in GCHQ (Britain’s version of the NSA), where he ran cyber and Middle Eastern terror operations. The Scot specializes in Middle Eastern security and also holds a qualification from the U.S. State Department. None of this, however, is disclosed by Bellingcat, which merely describes him as the managing director of a private intelligence company that “conduct[s] ethical investigations” for clients around the world — thus depriving readers of key information they need to make informed judgments on what they are reading.

There are plenty of former American spooks on Bellingcat’s roster as well. Former contributor Chris Biggers, who penned more than 60 articles for the site between 2014 and 2017, previously worked for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency — a combat support unit that works under the Department of Defense and the broader Intelligence Community. Biggers is now the director of an intelligence company headquartered in Virginia, on the outskirts of Washington (close to other semi-private contractor groups like Booz Allen Hamilton), that boasts of having retired Army and Air Force generals on its board. Again, none of this is disclosed by Bellingcat, where Biggers’s bio states only that he is a “public and private sector consultant based in Washington, D.C.”

For six years, Dan Kaszeta was a U.S. Secret Service agent specializing in chemical, biological and nuclear weapons, and for six more he worked as program manager for the White House Military Office. At Bellingcat, he would provide some of the intellectual ammunition for Western accusations about chemical weapons use in Syria and Russia’s alleged poisoning of Sergei Skripal.

Nearly 40% of Marines have rejected coronavirus vaccine as Dems call on Biden admin to make shots mandatory for troops – reports

 

Just shy of 40 percent of Marine Corps service members have refused to take the coronavirus jab, new data provided to the media shows. The revelation comes as Democratic lawmakers push to make the vaccine mandatory for soldiers.

 

Some 75,500 Marines have agreed to be vaccinated as of Thursday, while around 48,000 have declined the inoculation, CNN reported, citing numbers provided by the branch. That puts the rejection rate at 38.9%, slightly higher than the 33% rate for the whole military given by defense officials.

 

Marine spokeswoman Colonel Kelly Frushour explained that Marines may be refusing the shot for a number of reasons, including allowing others in more vulnerable groups to take it first, allergies to the vaccine or obtaining it by other, non-military means.

 

Frushour stressed the need to “build vaccine confidence” among servicemen, adding that reluctant troops can always “change their mind and become vaccinated when next the opportunity presents itself.”

 

Another 102,000 or so Marines, including active-duty and reserve troops, are still in line for the immunization and have not had a chance to accept or decline.

 

The rejection rate was much higher at certain bases, such as Camp Lejeune, a major Marine installation in North Carolina, where 57% of service members have refused to take the shot.

 

While the military is currently barred from mandating any of the coronavirus vaccines rolled out in the US, as each has received only emergency FDA approval rather than full authorization, some in Congress have pressed the Joe Biden administration to change that.

 

In a letter sent to the White House last month, a group of Democratic lawmakers led by California Rep. Jimmy Panetta argued that unvaccinated soldiers pose a “critical threat to our national security and public health,” calling on the president to issue a waiver overriding the rules – as well as the “informed consent” of the troops.

 

“Vaccinating every eligible service member will improve readiness and have an immediate and positive impact on the communities in which they serve,” Panetta wrote in the letter, which was co-signed by six House Democrats.

 

Requiring [the Defense Department] to obtain informed consent prior to vaccination is not only harmful to our national security, but contrary to the best interests of service members, their families, communities and colleagues.

 

Service members are not permitted to decline other fully approved immunizations.

 

Other survey data suggests that around 25% Americans at large are not willing to be vaccinated against the coronavirus.

Explosions in 2 Somalia Cities Kill at Least 5

 

MOGADISHU, Somalia—A suicide bomber detonated his explosives outside a cafe in Somalia’s city of Baidoa on Saturday, killing at least four people and wounding more than six others, police said.

 

The bomber was targeting the Bay region governor, Ali Wardhere, who was outside the Suez Cafeteria, officials reported. The governor escaped the explosion unharmed, according to the official government news agency, SONNA, which reported that at least two of his bodyguards, who were also policemen, were among the wounded.

 

“The explosion which was heard all around the town of Baidoa has terrorized the people and had created a momentary confusion,” said Amin Maddey, who witnessed the explosion and spoke to The Associated Press by telephone.

 

The al-Qaida linked group al-Shabab has claimed the responsibility through a report they published on their website and radio Andalus which advocates for their jihadist campaigns.

 

“The target was a convoy accompanying Mr. Ali Wardhere, the governor of Bay region, which was hit hard,” the al-Shabab statement said, “three of Ali Wardhere’s bodyguards have died in the attack and the target which was Ali Wardhere himself got wounded,” added the statement.

 

The police have cordoned off the area for investigation as many bystanders gathered around to check whether their family members or friends are among the victims.

 

Meanwhile, another explosion went off in the Huriwa district of Mogadishu Saturday, killing one government soldier and wounding a bystander, police said.

 

It is not known whether the two explosions in Baidoa and Mogadishu are related. No one has yet claimed responsibility for the bombing in Mogadishu.

 

The people of Somalia are seeing major security lapses as leaders remain in deadlock over the political situation after elections were delayed earlier this year.

 

“The meeting between the federal government and the federal member states has ended in total failure,” said the Minister of Information, Osman Abokor Dubbe, who blamed the two leaders of Puntland and Jubbaland for that failure.

 

However, both leaders of Puntland and Jubbaland have denied reports of a failed meeting.

 

There have been fears that the al-Qaida-linked group would be emboldened by Somalia’s current political crisis as President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed is under pressure to step aside.

Massive Child Sex Ring Busted at State Youth Facility—Hundreds of Kids Tortured and Raped

 

Concord, NH — According to a recent investigation by the state of New Hampshire’s attorney general’s office, a state-run youth detention center has been ground zero for an utterly horrifying child torture and sex abuse ring spanning the course of decades. According to officials and a recent lawsuit, hundreds of victims have come forward alleging the abuse by over 100 government employees, and multiple arrests have been made.

 

The abuse took place at the Sununu Youth Services Center, formerly known as the Youth Development Center. In 2019, the taxpayer funded center became the subject of an investigation after two staffers were arrested. The two former staffers were charged with 82 counts of child rape.

 

According to investigators, however, those charges were all temporarily dropped in order to expand the investigation. Now, two years later, the original two staffers have been re-arrested as well as six others for their roles in the child rape and torture ring which spanned decades

 

Though, according to the AP, the attorney general’s office didn’t comment on the possibility of further arrests, they did announce that this was “merely a step forward” and that the investigation will continue — implying that there are many more abusers to go after.

 

“Today’s arrests make clear that this administration is committed to holding these perpetrators accountable for their detestable actions,” said Gov. Chris Sununu — the facility’s namesake. “This is not over, and we will continue to investigate these horrific allegations.”

 

According to the Associated Press:

 

The new arrestees include Lucien Poulette, 65, of Auburn, who is charged with 33 counts — including rape and sexual assault — involving seven victims between 1994 and 2005. Bradley Asbury, 66, of Dunbarton, is charged with being an accomplice to the rape of a former resident between 1997 and 1998. And Frank Davis, 79, of Hopkinton, is charged with one count of rape and five counts of sexual assault involving two victims between 1996 and 1997.

 

Instead of the dozens of charges they previously faced, Jeffrey Buskey, 54, of Quincy, Massachusetts, is now charged with five counts of rape involving four children between 1996 and 1999, while Stephen Murphy, 51, of Danvers, Massachusetts, is charged with five counts of rape involving three children between 1997 and 1999.

 

James Woodlock, 56, of Manchester, was charged with three counts of being an accomplice to rape between 1997 and 1998. David Meehan, the lead plaintiff in the civil lawsuit, alleges that Woodlock repeatedly beat him, held him down while Buskey raped him and told him he had “simply misunderstood events” when he spoke up during a group counseling session.

 

In a worrisome move, after the original investigation was launched, Woodlock left the facility and became a probation officer — for children. However, he was fired this week from his position after his arrest was made public.

 

On top of the arrests this week, several of the alleged child rapists who were arrested have also been named in a lawsuit in which more than 200 men and women allege they were physically or sexually abused as children by 150 staffers at the Manchester facility from 1963 to 2018.

The Los Angeles Times attempted to stir the proverbial pot this week by publishing an article titled: "The casual racism of mispronouncing an Asian person's name."

 

The motivation for the article stemmed from an incident at the L.A. theater community's Ovation Awards, where presenters accidentally mispronounced the name of an Asian-American nominee and mistakenly displayed a photo of the wrong actor.

 

"Asian actress Jully Lee, who was nominated for her performance in Jiehae Park's 'Hannah and the Dread Gazebo,' had her first name mispronounced while the nominees for best featured actress were read," Variety reported. "Additionally, a photo of a different Asian actress was mistakenly displayed on screen."

 

The unintentional and seemingly innocent errors prompted more than two dozen local theaters to withdraw from the Los Angeles Stage Alliance, a non-profit that was established 46 years ago and organizes the Ovation Awards. At first, the Los Angeles Stage Alliance apologized to the AAPI community for the mistakes, organized a task force that would take steps towards a "transparent transformation" to become an ally of the "BIPOC and marginalized community."

 

However, the Los Angeles Stage Alliance decided to shut down operations after the alleged outrage.

Florida Reports Fewer Coronavirus Cases Per Capita Than New York, Pennsylvania, Michigan

 

 

Florida continues to report fewer new cases of the Chinese coronavirus per capita than pro-lockdown blue states such as New York, Pennsylvania, and Michigan.

 

While the establishment media frequently criticized Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) for prioritizing individual liberty throughout the Chinese coronavirus pandemic, Florida is continuing to fare better than certain blue states in terms of reporting new cases of the virus.

 

Florida, which has no mask mandate in place, has reported 176.3 cases per 100,000 in the last seven days, or 37,859 cases, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) April 9 data.

 

But three blue states — Michigan, Pennsylvania, and New York — have reported more cases per capita in the same time frame, despite leaving certain restrictions in place, including statewide mask mandates.

 

Michigan, for example, has reported 492.1 cases per 100,000 in the last seven days, or 49,141 cases. Pennsylvania has reported 230 cases per 100,000, or 29,441, in the last week as well.

 

As Breitbart News has continued to note, CDC data separates New York City’s data from the remainder of the state. Even so, New York, excluding the city, has reported 239.9 cases per 100,000 in the last seven days, or 26,525 cases. New York City specifically reported 289.4 cases per 100,000, or 24,303 in the same time frame. Combined, the Empire State has reported 50,828 cases in the last seven days.

 

Texas, which lifted coronavirus-related restrictions last month, including the statewide mask mandate which had remained in effect since last summer, is also faring far better than those blue states, reporting 64.6 new cases of the virus per 100,000 in the last seven days, or 18,731 cases total.

 

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the White House’s chief medical advisor on the coronavirus, has failed to explain why red states are experiencing a drop in cases despite relaxing restrictions against the advice of Democrats.

 

“It can be confusing because you may see a lag and a delay because often, you have to wait a few weeks before you see the effect of what you’re doing right now,” Fauci said during a Tuesday appearance on MSNBC’s Morning Joe.

 

He continued:

 

You know, there are a lot of things that go into that. I mean, when you say that they’ve had a lot of the activity on the outside like ball games, I’m not really quite sure. It could be they’re doing things outdoor. You know, it’s very difficult to just one-on-one compare that. You have to see in the long-range. I hope they continue to tick down. If they do, that would be great, but there’s always the concern when you pull back on methods, particularly things like indoor dining and bars that are crowded, you can see a delay, and then all of a sudden tick right back up. We’ve been fooled before by situations where people begin to open up, nothing happens, and then all of a sudden several weeks later, things start exploding on you. So, we’ve got to be careful we don’t prematurely judge that.

 

While Fauci believes it may be too early to judge Texas’s trend, Gov. DeSantis lifted restrictions in the Sunshine State months ago.

Feds Open Two Migrant Children Detention Centers — near Canadian Border

 

U.S. Department of Health and Human Services officials announced the opening of two more Emergency Intake Sites (EIS) to move increasing numbers of unaccompanied children out of Customs and Border Protection custody. The move mirrors recent announcements by HHS to address the surge in unaccompanied children migrants flooding the southern border.

 

One new EIS facility will be located at Starr Commonwealth campus in Albion, Michigan, about 70 miles from the U.S.-Canada border. The Starr Commonwealth EIS will provide housing for children ages 12 and under and has a potential capacity of 240 beds. Another will open at Pennsylvania International Academy (PIA) in Erie, Pennsylvania. The PIA EIS will also provide shelter for children ages 12 and under and has a potential capacity of 648 beds.

 

According to HHS, the EIS shelters being brought into service will provide the required standards of care for children. Those standards include providing clean and comfortable sleeping quarters, meals, toiletries, laundry, and access to medical services. A COVID-19 health screening protocol for all children will be implemented to follow CDC guidelines for preventing and controlling communicable diseases. Services will be provided by a combination of contractors and federal staff – including teams from the HHS Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response and the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps.

 

The number of unaccompanied minors in United States custody rose steadily over the last several months and shows no signs of waning. There are over 20,000 unaccompanied children being held by HHS and CBP at Border Patrol Stations and HHS facilities across the country.

 

According to a law enforcement source within CBP, nearly 19,000 unaccompanied children were arrested in March, an all-time monthly record. HHS scrambles to keep up with the record numbers by adding facilities and increasing capacity to detain the unaccompanied children at a pace not seen before.

 

In March alone, HHS opened nine facilities to deal with the influx. Although current laws dictate the children may only be in Customs and Border Protection (CBP) custody for 72 hours, many have been detained for over ten days according to law enforcement sources. A number of Border Patrol facilities are facing issues with overcrowding.

 

According to HHS, 301 unaccompanied children were discharged from custody to sponsors within the United States. The running 30-day average for UAC’s apprehended by the Border Patrol stands at 511 per day according to data released Friday.

 

The potential detention capacity for unaccompanied children added by the Biden administration since March 1st alone is over 18,000 beds. HHS estimates the cost to house each unaccompanied child in an EIS is approximately $775 per day. The Biden administration thus far has not communicated a clear plan to reduce the influx of unaccompanied children.

Scientists Now Say Vaccination Isn’t Good Enough — Push For New Vaccination Every Single Time We Travel

 

Scientists at Oxford University have suggested that people may need to have a coronavirus vaccination not once, not twice, but EVERY time they want to travel out of their home country.

 

The scientists published a report in the Royal Society Journal last week that acknowledged there is little data on how efficient or long lasting the current vaccines are, and so it is likely that countries will require a recent vaccination.

 

Having endless vaccinations when there is no indication of how effective they are, or what long term side effects there may be sounds absolutely mental, but that is what is being suggested.

 

Speaking to the London Telegraph, Epidemiologist Christopher Dye, a leading author of the reports stated “If we thought that the duration of protection was just a matter of months, then the sort of criteria that might be introduced – we’re not saying they should be – is that when one travels internationally for a short trip, going on vacation for example, that one is vaccinated each time on that occasion for that particular trip.”

 

The scientists also stated that vaccine passports are “feasible,” but only when global standards can be agreed upon.

 

“An effective vaccine passport system that would allow the return to pre-Covid activities, including travel, without compromising personal or public health, must meet a set of demanding criteria,” said Dye.

 

Other co-authors of the study wanted that the covid passports, which the government’s vaccines minister has repeatedly said are not going to be used domestically, “need to be fully explored.”

 

Professor Melinda Mills warned that such a system “could inadvertently discriminate or exacerbate existing inequalities,” adding “The intended use will have significant implications across a wide range of legal and ethical issues.”

 

“Is it literally a passport to allow international travel or could it be used domestically to allow holders greater freedoms?” Professor Mills further questioned.

 

“We need a broader discussion about multiple aspects of a vaccine passport, from the science of immunity through to data privacy, technical challenges and the ethics and legality of how it might be used,” Mills added.

Ukraine’s Top Commander Invokes NATO’s Article 5 Military Assistance Clause as West Continues to Oversee Ukraine’s War in the Donbass

 

Colonel-General Ruslan Khomchak, the commander-in-chief of Ukraine’s armed forces, is quoted today as boasting that his nation’s military is capable of responding to what he deemed the “aggravation of the situation” in the Donbass, in his words the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk and Lugansk, and “along the entire Ukrainian-Russian border.”

 

The above regions are only two of five Ukrainian (or former Ukrainian) oblasts bordering Russia. The total land border between Ukraine and Russia as Ukraine computes it is some 1,225 miles; Russia’s border with Donetsk and Lugansk is 255 miles.

 

The Ukrainian military chief has extended the line of conflict by almost five times. In language evocative of the worst days of the Cold War, Khomchak also intoned: “Ukraine is supported by the entire civilized world. We are not alone in the face of the enemy.”

 

As a concrete example of what he was alluding to, and in arguably the most inflammatory language used to date in regard to the conflict in the Donbass, the country’s top military commander mentioned NATO’s collective military defense clause:

 

“We have intensified the military dialogue with NATO at the strategic level and deepened cooperation in the Black Sea region. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are taking part in collective training events for troops [forces], including in NATO exercises on the subject of Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty.”

 

At the same time Interfax-Ukraine reported that an American delegation led by the U.S. defense attaché to Ukraine, Colonel Brittany Stewart, paid a working visit to the Joint Forces Operation headquarters. From 2014-2018 known as the Anti-Terrorist Operation, Joint Forces Operation is the name for Ukraine’s war in the Donbass.

 

The American delegation met with troops assigned to “the contact line with the enemy, talked with Ukrainian defenders and once again made sure [were apprised?] of the presence of Russian mercenaries in Donbas.” It also visited a memorial to Ukrainian soldiers killed in the seven-year war in the Donbass.

 

Colonel Stewart said at a briefing, “The U.S. government is deeply concerned over the situation that is developing near the borders of Ukraine and in every possible way supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.”

J&J says it is 'aware' of blood clots in four Americans who got its vaccine but has seen no proof the shot causes clotting as EU regulators investigate the shot ahead of its rollout

 

Johnson & Johnson acknowledged that it is 'aware' of four cases of people developing blood clots after vaccinations with its COVID-19 shot - but that there is no clear evidence that the injections caused clotting.

 

EU regulators said on Friday that they are 'investigating' these cases related to J&J's shot, which was approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) and is expected to be rolled out later this month.

 

To-date, there have been four incidents of blood clots after vaccinations since the J&J rollout began in the U.S. One occurred during its clinical trial, and that person ultimately died of a clotting disorder.

 

That's about 0.00008 percent of all J&J vaccines administered in the US, according to a DailyMail.com analysis of Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) data.

 

Meanwhile, there have been 41 blood clots following vaccinations with Pfizer's shot logged into the CDC database, known as VAERS. After vaccination with Moderna's shot, 29 people developed clots.

 

But far more of each of those vaccines have been given. About 0.00004 percent of people who have received either shot have developed clots.

 

In other words, the rates are extraordinarily low for all three vaccines, but about twice as high for Johnson & Johnson's. So why are regulators particularly concerned over J&J's shot?

 

That's part of what the EMA's investigation aims to determine.

WEF Warns of Cyber Attack Leading to Systemic Collapse of the Global Financial System

 

A report published last year by the WEF-Carnegie Cyber Policy Initiative calls for the merging of Wall Street banks, their regulators and intelligence agencies as necessary to confront an allegedly imminent cyber attack that will collapse the existing financial system.

 

In November 2020, the World Economic Forum (WEF) and Carnegie Endowment for International Peace co-produced a report that warned that the global financial system was increasingly vulnerable to cyber attacks. Advisors to the group that produced the report included representatives from the Federal Reserve, the Bank of England, the International Monetary Fund, Wall Street giants likes JP Morgan Chase and Silicon Valley behemoths like Amazon.

 

The ominous report was published just months after the World Economic Forum had conducted a simulation of that very event – a cyber attack that brings the global financial system to its knees – in partnership with Russia’s largest bank, which is due to jumpstart that country’s economic “digital transformation” with the launch of its own central bank-backed cryptocurrency.

 

More recently, last Tuesday, the largest information sharing organization of the financial industry, whose known members include Bank of America, Wells Fargo and CitiGroup, have again warned that nation-state hackers and cybercriminals were poised to work together to attack the global financial system in the short term. The CEO of this organization, known as the Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center (FS-ISAC), had previously advised the WEF-Carnegie report that had warned much the same.

 

Such coordinated simulations and warnings from those who dominate the current, ailing financial system are obvious cause for concern, particularly given that the World Economic Forum is well-known for its Event 201 simulation about a global coronavirus pandemic that took place just months prior to the COVID-19 crisis.

 

The COVID-19 crisis has since been cited as the main justification for accelerating the “digital transformation” of the financial and other sectors that the Forum and its partners have promoted for years. Their latest prediction of a doomsday event, a cyber attack that stops the current financial system in its tracks and instigates its systemic collapse, would offer the final yet necessary step for the Forum’s desired outcome of this widespread shift to digital currency and increased global governance of the international economy.

 

Given that experts have been warning since the last global financial crisis that the collapse of the entire system was inevitable due to central bank mismanagement and rampant Wall Street corruption, a cyber attack would also provide the perfect scenario for dismantling the current, failing system as it would absolve central banks and corrupt financial institutions of any responsibility. It would also provide a justification for incredibly troubling policies promoted by the WEF-Carnegie report, such as a greater fusion of intelligence agencies and banks in order to better “protect” critical financial infrastructure.

In my job I speak with a lot of people who are applying for long term care insurance. I would say 80% of the people I speak with either say they have already had 1 or 2 doses of the shot, or they have an appointment set up to receive it, or they can't wait to receive it.

And I'm not even asking them about it, they're just telling me.

I haven't had one person say one thing about not wanting to have the shot, nothing negative at all.

 

Most of these people are sheeple, prone to saying things about how happy their doctor is with their health, as if making a doctor happy is some kind of goal in life.

Left-Wing Jewish Groups Defend Justice Department Nominee Accused of Anti-Semitism

 

Kristen Clarke hosted an anti-Jewish conspiracy theorist at Harvard

 

Left-wing Jewish groups are defending embattled Justice Department nominee Kristen Clarke against charges of anti-Semitism related to an event she sponsored for an anti-Jewish conspiracy theorist.

 

The National Council of Jewish Women and other groups say those accusing Clarke of anti-Semitism are misrepresenting her record. This defense is unusual for the NCJW, which has traditionally been vocal in opposing nominees for past views. Clarke, who President Joe Biden tapped to lead the department's civil rights division, will appear before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday.

 

The battle over Clarke's record comes amid a broader debate over the Biden administration's commitment to Israel. Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced the resumption of tens of millions of dollars in aid for Gaza and the West Bank on April 7 that will likely benefit the Palestinian Authority.

 

As an undergraduate at Harvard University in 1994, Clarke hosted an event with Wellesley College professor Tony Martin. Just one year earlier, Martin published a book called The Jewish Onslaught, which purported to show the global slave trade was controlled by Jews. The book accused Jews of attacking black scholars and undermining community leaders. A majority of Martin's faculty colleagues condemned the book as anti-Semitic.

 

Clarke invited Martin in her capacity as president of the Black Students Association. The decision deeply divided the campus and was covered at length in the campus newspaper, the Harvard Crimson. A letter to the editor from a Jewish student, Martin Lebwohl, who attended the event noted that Martin "lavished praise" on Clarke "who, he said, had courageously invited him ‘in the face of enormous pressure from the forces of reaction.'"

 

In addition to the National Council of Jewish Women, Clarke has received support from the American Jewish Congress and the Union for Reform Judaism. Writing in defense of Clarke in February, NCJW CEO Sheila Katz said calling Clarke to account for decisions she made in college is proof of a double standard for nominees of color.

 

"Black women in our country too often get disproportionate criticism and harmful backlash for the same actions or behaviors that would be overlooked from white and male colleagues," Katz wrote.

 

The argument is atypical for the usually vocal organization. The NCJW opposed at least two of former president Donald Trump's judicial nominees, one of whom was a woman of color, in light of statements they made in college.

 

Ryan Bounds was made to withdraw his nomination for the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in 2018 after the NCJW publicized opinion columns he wrote about campus race issues as an undergraduate at Stanford University. The columns generally derided campus multicultural initiatives and criticized campus affinity groups in hyperbolic terms. Bounds withdrew after Sens. Tim Scott (R., S.C.) and Marco Rubio (R., Fla.) decided to oppose his confirmation.

Smartmatic alleging Powell defamed the company in the aftermath of the 2020 presidential election by claiming its software was hacked and compromised and further alleging that the company was under the corrupt control of dictators from socialist countries.

 

After saying such statements about several election technology companies, former President Donald Trump distanced himself from Powell.

 

"Sidney Powell is practicing law on her own. She is not a member of the Trump Legal Team. She is also not a lawyer for the President in his personal capacity," Giuliani and another lawyer for Trump, Jenna Ellis, said in a statement in November, according to the Associated Press.

 

Smartmatic is also suing former Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani and Fox News and several of the cable TV network's hosts for statements they made in the aftermath of the 2020 election.

 

"Without any true villain, defendants invented one. Defendants decided to make Smartmatic the villain in their story," Smartmatic's says in at least on of the suits, according to NBC News.

 

Powell, in a recent motion, to dismiss the case, argued that she could not be sued in New York, where Smartmatic filed the suit against her, because he did not have sufficient contacts with the state.

 

She also argued that her appearances on Fox News do not give the state jurisdiction over her.

 

Powell also says her comments cannot be considered defamatory because the information she shared about the Smartmatic voting machines is "backed by sworn affidavits, expert reports, and other corroborating evidence."

 

She also argues the First Amendment protects her statements about Smartmatic because they are "political speech and were made in connection with active litigation."

 

"I stand by my statements about Smartmatic today," Powell said." I believe every allegation I have made about Smartmatic and the vulnerability of these machines is true. This case is meritless and should be thrown out entirely."

Hunter Biden falsely claimed that the intelligence community has publicly determined his laptop scandal to be “Russian disinformation,” The Washington Examiner reported Friday.

 

President Joe Biden‘s son has been arguing he has “done nothing wrong,” saying he’s confident the Justice Department investigates his taxes he will be clear his name.

 

In his various interviews promoting his memoir, “Beautiful Things,” Hunter has acknowledged that the purported laptop allegedly given to a Delaware repair shop in 2019 could belong to him. Although, he has said he has no recollection and that the device could have been stolen, he could have been hacked, or—citing no evidence—Russian intelligence could have played a role.

 

However, in an interview this week on the “WTF with Marc Maron” podcast, Hunter falsely claimed that a recently published report from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence had determined the laptop story to be Russian-backed disinformation. Former President Donald Trump’s director of National Intelligence, John Ratcliffe, said no evidence supported the claim that the laptop story was a Russian disinformation campaign. Last month, too, a report published by President Biden’s spy community did not specifically reference the laptop, The Washington Examiner noted.

 

“I say it to everybody — I think I write it in the book — is that, this is the truest thing I ever heard, is that, getting sober is easy, all you gotta do is change everything. And I can tell you that the ability to change everything requires, at least from me, not only getting honest with the people around me but getting honest with myself. And for the first time, I’ve been allowed to — I’ve given myself permission to do that,” Hunter told host Marc Maron. “Now, you know, it’s a hell of a lot easier when your story is being — um, you know, the concocted story of you out there is even worse than the story I write in the book.”

 

“But, did you pick up your laptop or?” Maron asked.

 

Hunter laughed and responded: “Yeah, the creepiest thing is — look, I have no clue what’s real. Only thing I do know is that the intelligence community just came out with a report that said the entire thing is Russian disinformation. And I tell people — just give them my book. I mean, it’s all right there. I’ve got nothing to hide.”

 

Maron then said, “The funny thing is like, […] given how much s— was stolen from you over the years when you were high, who the f— knows.”

 

Agreeing with Maron, Hunter replied: “Yeah. Yeah. I mean, exactly, who knows. Only thing I do know is that Rudy Giuliani is supposedly sleeping with it, which is creepy enough just to even think about,” referencing Trump’s personal lawyer.

 

President Biden’s 2020 campaign dismissed the laptop story, which broke in October, as being part of a Russian disinformation effort without backing up their claims with evidence.

 

After it came to light in December that the Justice Department was investigating Hunter’s taxes, concerns about him started to grow.

Amnesty International: COVID Perpetuated Human Rights Abuses in 2020

 

The COVID-19 pandemic has marked the state of human rights in 2020 and has further perpetuated inequality, discrimination and oppression all over the globe, Amnesty International said in its latest report.

 

“The pandemic and some of the measures taken to tackle it had a devastating effect on the lives of millions, but also revealed, and sometimes aggravated, existing patterns of abuses and inequalities,” said the international human rights group after publishing their annual report on the state of Human rights around the world.

 

In 42 out of the 149 nations surveyed, the group found essential workers were intimidated or harassed by governments to continue working, despites shortages of protective equipment even as 1.8 million people died around the world.

 

Other relief measures had discriminatory impacts on marginalized groups, the group said, especially on women who make up 70% of health and social service workers worldwide.

 

“In many countries, ethnic minorities and Indigenous peoples had disproportionately high rates of infection and death, due in part to pre-existing inequalities and lack of access to healthcare,” Amnesty said.

 

“Political and religious figures stigmatized marginalized groups, blaming them for spreading the virus. Muslims in some South Asian countries and LGBTI people in several African and European ones were among the targets.”

 

All in all the pandemic largely served to only enforce pre existing human rights issues around the world, such as inequality in Latin America, the use of state violence in Africa and clamp downs on freedom of speech in the Asia-pacific region, the group concluded.

The divorce industry has a lot of experts. Some of them are convinced there’s an epidemic of “parental alienation syndrome” that they say is akin to child abuse and caused by mentally-ill parents. Others say there’s no such thing and that it’s a bogus diagnosis meant to muddy the waters and allow greedy and corrupt court actors to place children in danger for money.

 

Meanwhile, father’s rights groups are fighting for shared parenting laws known as “presumed 50/50,” sparking another flaming-hot controversy. Domestic abuse victims say that shared parenting forces abuse victims to continue being abused. Who is right? Can anything be done to bridge the gap and help the children who are suffering from what looks like a breakdown of the entire system set up to help them?

 

In the last few weeks, I’ve met people on both sides of this issue who are passionate about their viewpoints. They deserve to be heard. I hosted a debate on Friday to let each side battle it out. Arguing for 50/50 laws is Kenneth Rosa of the Father’s Rights Movement. Rosa also says he’s a victim of parental alienation. Arguing against both is investigative journalist Michael Volpe who has been covering domestic abuse, divorce, and custody disputes along with judicial misconduct for many years.

 

My rules for the debate were simple. Each participant was allowed to ask a victim or expert to accompany them (neither did), and each was allowed to use media clips in lieu of their two-minute time window at any point. I did my best to moderate objectively while also bringing on my own chosen expert, attorney Barry Goldstein, a nationally-recognized domestic violence author, speaker and advocate.

 

One of the major problems this country has now is the inability to have a civil debate. Too many people do not value the art of intellectual fencing that begins and ends with a handshake and no ill will. None of us have all the answers. Our political landscape is far from civil and if we expect to solve anything or help anyone, we have to start talking to one another. I hope that this debate will bring together moms and dads who are fighting against the same thing: family court corruption—not one another.

A DoD definition of domestic extremism is on its way

 

Now that the active-duty military has completed its mandated stand-downs to discuss domestic extremism, the Pentagon is lining up the next moves.

“I don’t want to speak for them, but it was clear to the secretary that they took it seriously, the stand-down,” Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said of Austin’s meeting, “that they believed their people took it seriously across the force, that the listening sessions that the secretary asked for [were] particularly fruitful and valuable.”

 

The Countering Extremism Working Group’s first order of business is to come up with an actionable definition of extremism, which will update a current Defense Department instruction that allows for membership in known extremist groups, such as the Ku Klux Klan or Proud Boys, as long as one isn’t an “active participant” in a group’s activities.

 

“One consistent thing that he did hear is that the force wants better guidance,”Kirby added.

 

Whether that includes a list of groups as a reference, the Pentagon is making sure to emphasize that unaffiliated, lone-wolf types are also on the radar.

 

“It’s not just about group membership … it’s about the ideology and the conduct that that ideology inspires,” Kirby said. “Some of this radicalization occurs on an individual level.”

They only believe in "evolution", not that there was a Creator. Therefore, everything they "discover", they have to make it fit their original "theory" of evolution (so close to "evil", I almost typed evil just now).

 

Right at around 30mins into the video they start talking about the "elasticity" of genomes and that for example you can take cells that are supposed to form into an eye and place them on the tail of the animal and the animal's brain that develops still is able to recognize those cells as visual information and use them as they were designed and intended to be used.

 

From this they say that it shows how we can take "frozen" evolution and change it. As if it was all by mistake.

 

Instead of saying, wow!! Consider the amount of information there is in one genome that for it to be able to do what he described above, this proves that there is a higher being involved in it's creation and that it could absolutely NOT have evolved over time.

 

For example, consider me as a creator. I create a card board box. Starting from the tree growing in my back yard. Just like God created man out of the earth (which he also created). I didn't create the tree, but it's there and I use it to "create" a box. I make the cardboard, then I form the box out of it.

 

Now someone, with much, much less intelligence comes along and decides to take one of the top flaps that close the top of the box and place it on the bottom instead. It no longer closes completely but hey you can still form it into a box, just has an extra appendage at the bottom. Does this mean that I did not intentionally go out and design the original box as I did? Of course not!!! I intentionally want a square enclosure made from cardboard. I designed it for a specific purpose and reason. It is perfect for what it was designed for.

Just because it can be taken apart or changed, doesn't mean that it didn't have an intelligent design when it was first created.

ART. 3. — In the case of armed conflict not of an international

ART. 12. — In cases where they deem it advisable in the interest

of protected persons, particularly in cases of disagreement between

the Parties to the conflict as to the application or interpretation of

the provisions of the present Convention, the Protecting Powers

shall lend their good offices with a view to settling the

disagreement.

For this purpose, each of the Protecting Powers may, either at the

invitation of one Party or on its own initiative, propose to the

Parties to the conflict a meeting of their representatives, and in

particular of the authorities responsible for protected persons,

possibly on neutral territory suitably chosen. The Parties to the

conflict shall be bound to give effect to the proposals made to them

for this purpose. The Protecting Powers may, if necessary, propose

for approval by the Parties to the conflict, a person belonging to a

neutral Power or delegated by the International Committee of the

Red Cross, who shall be invited to take part in such a meeting

 

ART. 15. — Any Party to the conflict may, either direct or through

a neutral State or some humanitarian organization, propose to the

NEW YORK, April 8 (Reuters) - A massive trade in the U.S. options market on Thursday appears to be betting that the calm enveloping U.S. stocks in recent weeks will give way to a big rise in volatility over the next three months.

 

One or more traders laid out a roughly $40 million bet that the Cboe Volatility Index - often called Wall Street's fear gauge - will break above the 25 level and rise towards 40 by mid-July, trading data showed Thursday.

 

The VIX closed at 16.95 on Thursday, its lowest close since February 20, 2020, just before the coronavirus pandemic spooked investors and roiled global financial markets.

 

Some 200,000 of the VIX July 25 - 40 call spread traded over the course of two hours on Thursday, starting at 10 a.m. The trades made up about a third of the average daily trading volume in VIX options, according to Trade Alert.

 

The trades involved the purchase of the spread's lower strike calls for an average price of about $3.37, partly funded through the sale of the higher strike calls at about $1.30 per contract.

 

For the trade to be profitable, the VIX would need to rise above 25 by mid-July.

 

Given that big rallies in the options-based index tend to come during turbulent periods for stocks, the trade could represent a bearish outlook for equities.

Without  Delay.   The  GPW  provides  that  release  and  repatriation  take place 9.37.3 without  delay.    This  requirement,  however,  does  not  affect  the  practical  arrangements  that  must be  made  to  ensure that  repatriation  takes  place  in  a  safe  and  orderly  manner  in  accordance  with the  requirements  of  the  GPW.888 For  example, the  availability  of  manpower  and  transportation  to  conduct  the  repatriation, continuing  military  operations  in  other  theaters,  or  the  ability  of  countries  to  receive  POWs  in large  numbers,  may  all  increase the  time  required  to  conduct  the  release  and  repatriation.889   The security  situation  in  the  country  in  which  POWs  are  to  be  released  may  also  be  an  important factor.890   In addition,  time  may  be  needed  based  on  the  medical  condition of  the  POWs  or  in order  to  conduct  interviews  to  ensure  that  repatriation  is  voluntary. 9.37.4 POWs Whom the Detaining Power  Is  Not Required  to  Repatriate.    9.37.4.1  Persons  Illegally  Enrolled in Enemy  Forces  and  Deserters.   The obligation  to repatriate  does  not  apply  to  persons  who  have been  illegally  enrolled  in  the  armed forces  of  the  enemy  (for  example,  the  inhabitants  of  occupied  territories  who  have been  forced  to enlist  in  the  military  of  the  Occupying Power),  or  to  persons  who have  deserted to the  other side.891 9.37.4.2  POWs  Who  Resist Repatriation.    The  Detaining  Power  is  not required  to repatriate  forcibly  POWs  who  do  not wish  to  be  repatriated.     Although the  GPW  provides  that  POWs  may  not  renounce  the  rights  secured  to them  by the  GPW,892  this  principle  is  not violated  by  the  POW  rejecting  repatriation  and  requesting asylum,  if  it  is  established  in  a  satisfactory  manner  that  the  POW  is  making  an  informed, voluntary,  and personal  choice.893

Thus,  the  GPW  does  not  itself  change  accepted  principles  of international  law  under  which  asylum  is  applicable  to  POWs,  and  the  Detaining  Power  may,  but is  not  required  to, grant  asylum.894   The  policy  of  the  United  States  has  been  not  to  conduct forcible  repatriation  of  POWs  and,  in  particular,  not  to transfer  any  person  when torture  is  more likely  than not  to  result.895 The  voluntariness  of  POWs’  decisions  may  be  established  through interviews  by  an impartial  intermediary,  such  as  a neutral  State or  the  ICRC.896 9.37.4.3  POWs  Undergoing Criminal  Proceedings  for  an Indictable  Offense.   The repatriation  of  a  POW  may  not  be  delayed on the  basis  that  the  POW  has  not  undergone disciplinary  proceedings  or  punishment.897 POWs against  whom  criminal  proceedings  for  an  indictable  offense  are  pending  may  be detained  until  the  end  of  such proceedings,  and, if  necessary,  until  the  completion  of  the punishment.898   The  same shall  apply  to  POWs  already  convicted  for  an  indictable  offense.899    In fact, in  most  instances,  as  the  Supreme  Court  has  observed,  the  practical  administration of  the  system  of  military  justice  under  the  law  of  war  would fail  if  such  authority  were  thought  to end  with  the  cessation  of  hostilities  because  only  after  their  cessation  could  the  greater  number  of offenders  and  the  principal  ones  be  apprehended  and tried.900 Parties  to  the  conflict  shall  communicate  to  each  other  the  names  of  any  POWs  who  are detained  until  the  end  of  the  proceedings  or  until  punishment  has  been  completed.901 The  GPW  does  not  prohibit  the  extradition of  POWs  to  other  Parties  to  the GPW  to  face criminal  charges.902 POWs held  after  the  cessation  of  active  hostilities  on  this  basis,  even if  they  have  been convicted,  remain  entitled  to  the  benefits  of  the  GPW  until  they  are  released  and  repatriated.903 Commissions  to Search for  Dispersed  POWs.   By  agreement  between  the  parties 9.37.5 to  the  conflict, commissions  shall  be  established for  the  purpose  of  searching  for  dispersed POWs and of  ensuring  their  repatriation  with  the  least  possible  delay.904 9.37.6 Costs  of  Repatriation  at  the  Close  of  Hostilities.   The costs  of  repatriation  of POWs shall  in  all  cases  be  equitably  apportioned  between the  Detaining  Power  and the  Power  on which  the  POWs  depend.905    If  the  two  Powers  are  contiguous,  then  the  Power  on which  the  POWs  depend  shall  bear the  costs  of repatriation  from  the  frontiers  of the  Detaining Power.906    If  the  two  Powers  are  not  contiguous,  the  Detaining Power  shall  bear  the  costs  of transport  of  POWs  over  its  own  territory  as  far  as  its  frontier  or  its  port of  embarkation  nearest  to the  territory  of  the  Power  on  which the  POWs  depend.907   The  Parties  concerned  shall  agree between  themselves  on the  equitable  apportionment  of  the  remaining  costs  of  the  repatriation, but  the  conclusion  of  such  agreement  shall  in  no  circumstances  justify  any  delay  in  the repatriation  of  the  POWs.908 9.38

Georgia Secretary of State Raffensperger’s Amicus Brief Attempting to Prevent an Independent Audit in the State’s 2020 Election Results Includes At Least Seven False Accusations

 

Last week we reported that Georgia’s creepy Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger had petitioned the court to request that the state of Georgia not have to provide paper ballots in an audit requested and awarded by the court.

 

Yesterday, creative destruction media, listed seven instances in Raffensperger’s letter that are just plain false:

 

1 The brief falsely claims that Petitioners did not articulate legal justification to unseal the ballots while it totally ignores the most important point of relevant law that any court can unseal ballots for any reason under O.C.G.A. 21-2-500. If the controversies surrounding the Nov 3rd 2020 election do not justify reasons to unseal the ballots then what would?

2 The brief falsely portrays the lawsuit as only Open Records Request Act claims when in reality, most are Equal Protection and Due Process claims that justify unsealing of the ballots as part of discovery for evidence to adjudicate the claims;

3 The brief restates the off repeated false claims that there are overwhelming security and privacy issues involving the ballots. The ballots contain no voter identifiable information and will remain in the custody of Fulton Co. during the inspection according to the most recently filed inspection plan;

4 The brief falsely implies that recently signed Act 9 of the Georgia General Assembly, passed as SB202, prevents ballots from being unsealed. No such language exists as any reader can see by reviewing the bill language or our analysis of it in the sixth installment of our Georgia Election Integrity series. A recent Raffensperger press release claimed he “worked with the Georgia legislature to make sure ballot images could be made available to the public for review” when in reality, his Elections Director Chris Harvey and legal counsel Ryan Germany misled county elections directors in Emails by falsely claiming the AG office had issued an opinion that ballot images could not be made public;

5 The brief falsely attempts to use a 2007 Smith V. Dekalb case as precedent for ballot images when that case referenced the old DRE voting system that never produced paper ballot images.

6 The brief falsely states that lawsuit contains “baseless” claims when the claims are actually based on four sworn affidavits from seasoned poll managers stating they handled counterfeit ballots during the November 14th and 15th hand count audit

7 The brief falsely states that there was no unlawful activity at the State Farm Area when mail-in ballots were processed during the night of November 3rd and 4th 2020. The video shows a curved room that impaired monitor visibility, ballots being hidden under skirted tables, the same ballots being scanned more than once and scanning re-initiated after an announcement was made that scanning would stop for the night according to two sworn affidavits. All of these activities and conditions are violations of Georgia laws contrary to voting system implementation manager Gabriel Sterling who claimed it was “normal ballot processing” (O.C.G.A. 21-2-406, 21-2-483(b) 2-2-492, 21-2-493)

Pennsylvania Agrees to Remove 'Dead People' From Voters Lists After Lawsuit

 

Claims about 'dead people' purportedly voting in the 2020 presidential election are part of the voter fraud allegations continuing to be pushed by Donald Trump and his supporters. Attempts to prove these allegations in court failed, although the ex-POTUS has never conceded his defeat.

 

Pennsylvania's Department of State has agreed to remove deceased people from its voting rolls under conditions of a settlement in a lawsuit filed by The Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF) – a US legal group that seeks to purge ineligible voters from electoral lists nationwide.

 

Pennsylvania agreed to run a cross-check between its eligible-voter database and the federal lists of deceased citizens in the state, removing the latter from voter rolls. Thus the state will no longer send mail-in voting ballots to 'dead people', a move that will further limit the possibility of voter fraud in future elections.

 

"This marks an important victory for the integrity of elections in Pennsylvania. The Commonwealth’s failure to remove deceased registrants created a vast opportunity for voter fraud and abuse. It is important to not have dead voters active on the rolls for 5, 10, or even 20 years. This settlement fixes that", a PILF statement reads.

 

The agreement also includes a provision under which Pennsylvania will order each county commission to "promptly cancel the registrations" of the deceased, whose names had previously remained in voter lists.

Still on Voter Rolls After Twenty Years of Being Dead

 

The lawsuit, which PILF filed right after the 2020 election day, demanded Pennsylvania authorities fix a failure "to reasonably maintain voter registration records under federal and state law". According to the legal group, some 21,000 deceased individuals remain on the state voter lists, with 92% of that group dead for over a year. The organisation found at least 197 registrants who have been dead for at least twenty years, but were still "eligible" to vote under Pennsylvania records.

 

It is not yet known, how many records Pennsylvania State will correct under the conditions of the settlement.

 

Claims about 'dead voters' who allegedly voted during the 2020 electoral cycle were actively peddled by the Trump campaign as a part of its voter fraud allegations. The ex-POTUS legal team took these accusations to court, but failed to win any of the cases. Trump and some of his allies continue to push the claims that Democratic state authorities rigged the election, stealing the Republican victory in the presidential race.

Iran Orders 10-day Shutdown Amid 4th Wave of Coronavirus Pandemic

 

Iran imposed a 10-day lockdown across most of the country on Saturday to curb the spread of a fourth wave of the coronavirus pandemic, state media reported.

 

The lockdown affects 23 of the country’s 31 provinces, health ministry spokesman Alireza Raisi said. Businesses, schools, theatres, and sports facilities have been forced to shut and gatherings are banned during the holy fasting month of Ramadan that begins on Wednesday.

 

Iran’s coronavirus cases have surpassed 2 million with a new daily average of over 20,000 infections over the past week, according to the health ministry. It has reported more than 64,000 fatalities.

 

“Unfortunately, today we have entered a fourth wave,” President Hassan Rouhani said in televised remarks. He blamed the surge foremost on the variant that first emerged in the UK which spread to Iran earlier this year from neighboring Iraq.

 

Other factors included widespread travel, weddings, and celebrations during the Iranian New Year holidays that began on March 20, he said.

 

The UK variant is now predominant in the country, and 257 cities and towns are on red alert, Raisi said.

 

Iran has been the epicenter of the pandemic in the Middle East. In February, it closed several crossing points with Iraq in an effort to stem the spread of the UK variant.

 

The country’s vaccination drive has also been slow going.

 

Tehran says it has received more than 400,000 of 2 million Sputnik V vaccines on order from Russia, and that it is awaiting delivery of 4.2 million AstraZeneca shots.

 

It has also received 250,000 doses of China’s Sinopharm vaccine and part of an order of 500,000 doses of India’s COVAXIN.

 

With a population of 83 million, Iran had hoped to secure over 2 million vaccines by March 20 to vaccinate mainly healthcare workers. It is developing at least four local vaccine candidates, one in cooperation with Cuba, which is expected to reach production in a few months.

Sexual assault across NYC up 322% from same time last year

 

The number of rapes reported across the city skyrocketed over the past three weeks — just as nicer weather arrived and capacity was expanded at bars and restaurants.

 

Sexual assaults surged 322 percent to 38 during the week of March 29-April 4 from the 9 reported the same period last year, NYPD data show.

 

The week prior, March 22-28, saw 36 sex attacks — 125 percent more than the 16 reported the same week in 2020 as pandemic lockdowns began.

 

Sexual assaults soared 94 percent to 33 from 17 for the week of March 15-21, NYPD stats show.

 

“I don’t think this is a coincidence. People are out going to bars and restaurants again at 50 percent capacity,” says Joseph Giacalone, a retired NYPD sergeant who teaches at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. “As New Yorkers get vaccinated and start venturing out to the bar and nightclub scene, just beware of your surroundings and who you hang out with. Of the 174 rapes reported in the Big Apple from Jan. 1 through April 4, the NYPD data show 14 were committed by strangers and 160 via “acquaintances,” which includes individuals who may have just met.

 

New York City expanded indoor dining capacity to 50 percent on March 19. Watering holes are still not allowed to serve over the bar, but patrons drink via table service when they order food.

 

The NYPD could not say if the disturbing numbers are linked to the relaxing of COVID-19 restrictions.

The document that is expected to be discussed and potentially approved by Chancellor Angela Merkel’s cabinet on Tuesday includes binding requirements for all federal states where an average seven-day Covid-19 infection rate will rise over 100 per 100,000 people. Such states will no longer be able to find any excuses to avoid imposing the so-called “emergency brake,” the supposed text of the bill, published by Die Welt on Saturday, reads.

 

All states over this threshold infection rate will be bound to introduce a standard set of measures developed by the federal government, should the legislation come into force. Such measures involve a night-time curfew between 21:00 and 05:00, with exceptions for medical emergencies, professional activities and for looking after people or animals.

 

Private and public gatherings would once again be limited to the members of one household and one person outside of it, with children under 14 excluded from this rule.

 

All non-essential stores and services, including cafes, clubs, museums and sports facilities, as well as shops other than grocery stores, pharmacies and petrol stations, would be closed. Employers would also have to let their employees work from home if there are no “compelling reasons” for them to stay in the workplace. Universities would switch to distance education, with in-person classes only being allowed if every person attending them presents a negative Covid-19 test result.

 

Such restrictions could only be lifted if the average seven-day Covid-19 infection numbers remain below the threshold level for three days in a row. The bill would grant the federal government an ability to issue special statutory ordinances – a right previously reserved for the federal states only – to regulate the restrictions and “guarantee nationwide uniform control” over the Covid-19 measures.
