Princess Paid Bodyguard $9M in Blackmail to Keep Their Affair Quiet, But Still Got Busted

 

Money, it seems, really canโ€™t buy love. But in the case of Dubaiโ€™s ruler, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, and his sixth wife Princess Haya, it can sure buy a lot of other stuff including the silence of her secret lover.

 

In what is being dubbed as the biggest divorce settlement in U.K. history, the newly divorced Sheikh was ordered to pay some $734 million to his estranged wife in a case that has lifted the veil on what the super rich do in their spare time.

 

Testimony, which can only now be reported under British court rules, suggests that Princess Haya, 47, who happens to be the sister of King Abdullah II of Jordan, โ€œborrowedโ€ a cool $7.5 million from her then 10-year-old daughterโ€™s trust account to pay off her bodyguard, a former British soldier, with whom she was conducting an illicit affair. The princessโ€™s security team had apparently blackmailed her to keep the tryst under wraps. โ€œI was scared and that was the money available in that account,โ€ the princess told the court according to British press accounts published Tuesday.

 

The Sheikh, 72, divorced his youngest wife when he discovered the affair, which led to the divorce proceedings. Calling their life โ€œtruly opulentโ€ and remarking on the โ€œunprecedented standard of living enjoyed by these partiesโ€ the presiding judge ordered the wealthy ruler to pay the princess millions to carry out the lifestyle to which she and her children had become accustomed.

 

A large payout in the record-breaking settlement is for security for the princess and her childrenโ€”to protect them from the Sheikh who apparently found her unfaithfulness a capital offense. โ€œMost importantly in this regard, and absolutely uniquely, the main threat they face is from HH himself not from outside sources,โ€ the judge said, referring to the Sheikh as His Highness. โ€œThis is compounded by the full weight of the state that he has available to him as seen by his ability to make use of the Pegasus software, which is only available to governments.โ€ The Sheikh used the software to hack the phones of the princess and her lawyers.

 

The judge also scolded the blackmailers, who are not yet charged with any crime, saying, โ€œThis was clearly a most unsatisfactory episode. I realize I have not heard from the alleged blackmailers but nobody should be blackmailed and HRH must have been very frightened at this point.โ€

 

The couple separated in 2019 when the Sheikh discovered his wifeโ€™s infidelity. Haya took the kids, now aged 14 and 9, to the U.K. While married, the ruler provided the princess with an annual $110 million budget for household expenses and nearly $12 million in allowance for each of the children. Haya originally asked for nearly $2 billion in maintenance.

 

The court saw holiday snapshots of the family on their $400 million super yacht in addition to vacation pictures from their collection of villas and estates as well as shots of their custom-made Boeing 747 and matching helicopters all staffed by around 80 servants. The court was also told how one summer, the family of four spent more than $2 millionโ€”on strawberries.

 

While the high dollar payout would surely have satisfied most divorceesโ€”especially considering the circumstances of her infidelityโ€”Haya was said to be disappointed not to have her haute couture wardrobe worth about $110 million or her $26 million jewelry collection returned to her from Dubai. The court was shown a photo of her walk in jewelry vault which she said had been stripped of the good stuff, leaving around $25,000 worth of โ€œcostume jewelryโ€ the judge did offer to order returned. According to press reports, he asked her if there would be โ€œany pointโ€ to do so, to which she said, simply, โ€œno.โ€

 

She will also not get her stable of race horses, but instead was awarded some $6.6 million to โ€œbuy a few reasonable horses and run them for several years.โ€

 

Her lawyers had insisted that travel funds be allocated for the children, which the court awarded to the tune of $7 million a year, plus another $1.3 million for unspecified โ€œleisureโ€ activities. An additional $250,000 was earmarked for animals, including horses and ponies, and $130,000 for the childrenโ€™s private tutors.

The advice came in a wide-ranging interview with the Los Angeles Times published Sunday whereHarris conceded the Biden administration was blind sided by the Delta and Omicron variants and said doubts sown by โ€œmisinformationโ€ over vaccines will prolong the pandemic well into a third year.

 

Harrisโ€™s comments about coronavirus, in which she also appeared to blame the medical community for a lack of foresight, underscores the administrationโ€™s view the pandemic is its single biggest obstacle to better voter engagement ahead of next yearโ€™s midterms.

 

โ€œWe didnโ€™t see Delta coming. I think most scientists did not โ€“ upon whose advice and direction we have relied โ€“ didnโ€™t see Delta coming,โ€ Harris admitted.

 

โ€œWe didnโ€™t see Omicron coming. And thatโ€™s the nature of what this awful virus has been, which as it turns out, has mutations and variants.โ€

 

Harris then told the public to be more trusting of vaccines and mandates, citing a slow take-up rate despite the White House and federal health officialsโ€™ every effort to drive vaccinations and boosters.

 

โ€œI would take that more seriously,โ€ Harris said of contrary views dissuading people from getting a shot.

 

โ€œThe biggest threat still to the American people is the threat to the unvaccinated. And most people who believe in the efficacy of the vaccine and the seriousness of the virus have been vaccinated. That troubles me deeply.โ€

Report: Biden Administration Considers Releasing Money to Taliban

The Afghan news agency Khaama Press, citing the BBC, reported on Tuesday that the administration of President Joe Biden may soon unfreeze Afghan government assets, allowing the Taliban to access them, in the name of helping the impoverished people of the country.

 

The Taliban does not currently have access to Afghan government assets in American banks. Global institutions like the World Bank and International Monetary Funds (IMF) have also barred the jihadist terrorists from accessing funds that belong to the government of Afghanistan. The formal government of Afghanistan collapsed in August, however, leaving Taliban terror leaders in charge of the country.

 

The Taliban took over Afghanistan, storming the capital Kabul, on August 15, shortly after Biden abruptly ordered the withdrawal of all American forces from the country. Under predecessor Donald Trump, Washington had agreed to a deal with the Taliban that would have seen the 20-year Afghan War end in May 2021. Biden broke the deal, extending the war and angering the Taliban, which took Bidenโ€™s extension of the war as a license to engage in a nationwide conquest campaign that ended with then-President Ashraf Ghani fleeing Kabul, reportedly in a helicopter carrying $169 million in cash.

 

No country around the world has formally recognized the Taliban terrorist group as the government of Afghanistan. The U.S. has openly offered the Taliban doses of Chinese coronavirus vaccines, which Taliban officials have confirmed they received without the same fanfare they have deployed for any donation from the Chinese Communist Party.

 

The Biden administration is under intense leftist pressure to fund the Taliban. In a letter published Monday, dozens of far-left members of Congress โ€“ including Reps. Census: Biden Drives Up Foreign-Born Population Across Swing States

President Joe Bidenโ€™s immigration policies have significantly increased the foreign-born populations across a number of swing states, United States Census Bureau data reveals.

 

The data, analyzed by Steven Camarota and Karen Zeigler at the Center for Immigration Studies, shows that the foreign-born population has now hit a record 46.2 million as of November 2021 โ€” the largest share of immigrants, at 14.2 percent, in American history.

 

In the last year, alone, swing states saw their foreign-born populations grow by hundreds of thousands. In Florida, for example, about 615,000 immigrants were added to the stateโ€™s population since November 2020.

 

Likewise, Arizonaโ€™s foreign-born population grew by 173,000 immigrants, Wisconsinโ€™s by 156,000 immigrants, and Virginiaโ€™s by 135,000 immigrants. The totals are an important factor in electoral politics as the margins of victories in many swing states are sometimes less than 10,000 votes.

 

โ€œHispanic immigrants accounted for 924,000 or 61 percent of the growth since last November,โ€ Camarota and Zeigler note. โ€œThis is an indication that illegal immigration accounts for a large share of the recent increase in immigrants. The federal government and outside researchers have estimated that nearly three-quarters of illegal immigrants in Census Bureau data are Hispanic.โ€

The data comes as Biden has boosted the foreign-born voting population.

 

From October 1, 2020 to September 30, about 855,000 legal immigrants became naturalized American citizens โ€” the highest annual number of legal immigrants getting naturalized in more than a decade. Put another way, more than 2,300 legal immigrants were naturalized every day over the last Fiscal Year.

 

The last time naturalization rates were this high was in Fiscal Year 2008 when more than a million legal immigrants became naturalized American citizens.

 

The Pew Research Center has noted, as well as a number of establishment media outlets, that these trends are aiding Democrats in their electoral prospects.

 

A significant increase in naturalization rates ahead of the 2022 midterms and the 2024 presidential election could deliver big gains for Democrats as margins in a number of swing states have been small over the last two presidential elections. In Pennsylvania, for example, Biden won the state by less than 81,000 votes.

 

The Washington Post, New York Times, the Atlantic, Axios, the Los Angeles Times, and the Wall Street Journal have all admitted that rapid demographic changes because of immigration are tilting the nation toward a permanent Democrat dominance.

 

โ€œThe single biggest threat to Republicansโ€™ long-term viability is demographics,โ€ Axios acknowledged last year. โ€œThe numbers simply do not lie โ€ฆ thereโ€™s not a single demographic megatrend that favors Republicans.โ€

 

Already, the U.S. has the most generous immigration system in the world โ€” expected to bring in 15 million new foreign-born voters by 2041. About eight million of those voters will have arrived entirely due to the process known as โ€œchain migrationโ€ whereby newly naturalized citizens can bring an unlimited number of foreign relatives to the U.S.

Businesses, 27 States to Supreme Court: Strike Down Biden OSHA Vaccine Mandate

Numerous business groups, organizations, and even 27 states recently filed emergency requests asking the U.S. Supreme Court to resolve the split between federal appeals courts on the legality of President Joe Bidenโ€™s vaccine mandate for businesses with 100-plus employees.

 

Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh on Monday asked the federal government to respond to each of the petitions by December 30 at 4:00 p.m., creating the possibility that the completed applications could be circulated to the other eight justices in time to issue a decision before Christmas on whether the Court will a grant a stay and take up the case.

 

The applicants are asking the justices for a stay while litigation is ongoing challenging Bidenโ€™s coronavirus vaccine mandate, which goes into effect on January 4. The 27 states and several other applicants are additionally requesting their filings be considered a petition for writ of certiorari, meaning they are asking the Supreme Court to take up the case this term.

 

โ€œIn addition and in the alternative, the Court should treat this application as a petition for certiorari before judgment and grant immediate review of the Vaccine Mandateโ€™s legality,โ€ the statesโ€™ emergency application reads.

 

The emergency requests come after the Sixth Circuit on Saturday dissolved a stay of Bidenโ€™s vaccine mandate issued by the Fifth Circuit in November. Though the Sixth Circuit has a conservative judge majority 9-7, a three judge panel, including a President Barack Obama appointee and a President George W. Bush appointee with a reputation as a liberal-leaning moderate, voted 2-1, with a President Donald Trump appointee penning the dissent.

 

Bidenโ€™s mandate, issued by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), is the largest of the presidentโ€™s five vaccine mandates and impacts 84 million workers.

 

The applications are In re: MCP No. 165 v. OSHA, Nos. 21A243 through 21A251 (with more applications possibly forthcoming) in the Supreme Court of the United States.

President Joe Bidenโ€™s chief of staff, Ron Klain, defended on Monday recent messaging from the president threatening unvaccinated Americans with death from the coronavirus.

โ€œThe truth is the truth,โ€ Klain wrote on social media, sharing a comment from New York Magazine reporter Olivia Nuzzi about their messaging tactics.

 

The president continues to condemn unvaccinated Americans, accusing them of being responsible for spreading the coronavirus and overwhelming hospitals.

 

Last week, Biden falsely claimed that the vaccinated could not spread the virus, despite the Centers for Disease Control saying the opposite.

 

Biden kicked off his latest round of threats on Thursday, after meeting with his coronavirus advisory team.

 

โ€œFor unvaccinated: We are looking at a winter of severe illness and death if youโ€™re unvaccinated,โ€ Biden said. โ€œFor themselves, their family, and the hospital theyโ€™ll soon overwhelm.โ€

 

The White House signaled Biden would restate a similar message on Tuesday, as he is scheduled to address the pandemic and the rapid spread of the omicron variant.

 

โ€œFor those who choose to remain unvaccinated, heโ€™ll issue a stark warning and make clear,โ€ White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Monday, previewing the speech at the daily briefing. โ€œUnvaccinated individuals will continue to drive hospitalizations and deaths.โ€

He added that woke casting amounts to โ€œresegregating ourselvesโ€ over characteristics that are โ€œnot actable.โ€

 

In an interview with the Britainโ€™s Sunday Times Culture magazine, Aaron Sorkin responded to continued backlash he is facing for casting a Spanish actor to play a Cuban character.

 

โ€œSo this notion that only gay actors should play gay characters? That only a Cuban actor should play Desi? Honestly, I think itโ€™s the mother of all empty gestures and a bad idea,โ€ he said.

 

Sorkin said it is โ€œheartbreakingโ€ and โ€œa little chillingโ€ to see artists โ€œresegregating ourselvesโ€ over characteristics like race. โ€œThis should be the last place there are walls,โ€ he said. โ€œSpanish and Cuban are not actable.โ€

 

In the interview, Sorkin also defended Gina Carano, saying the actress didnโ€™t deserve to be fired from Disney+ series The Mandalorian for publicly comparing how conservatives are treated today with being Jewish during the Holocaust.

NASAโ€™s Webb Telescope Will Have the Coolest Camera in Space

Set to launch on Dec. 22, NASAโ€™s James Webb Space Telescope is the largest space observatory in history, and it has an equally gargantuan task: to collect infrared light from the distant corners of the cosmos, enabling scientists to probe the structures and origins of our universe and our place in it.

 

Many cosmic objects โ€“ including stars and planets, as well as the gas and dust from where they form โ€“ emit infrared light, sometimes called heat radiation. But so do most other warm objects, like toasters, humans, and electronics. That means Webbโ€™s four infrared instruments can detect their own infrared glow. To reduce those emissions, the instruments have to be really cold โ€“ about 40 kelvins, or minus 388 degrees Fahrenheit (minus 233 degrees Celsius). But to operate properly, the detectors inside the mid-infrared instrument, or MIRI, will have to get even colder: less than 7 kelvins (minus 448 degrees Fahrenheit, or minus 266 degrees Celsius).

 

Thatโ€™s just a few degrees above absolute zero (0 kelvins) โ€“ the coldest temperature theoretically possible, though itโ€™s never physically attainable because it represents the total absence of any heat. (MIRI is not, however, the coldest imaging instrument ever to operate in space.)

 

Temperature is essentially a measurement of how fast atoms are moving, and in addition to detecting their own infrared light, the Webb detectors can be trigged by their own thermal vibrations. MIRI detects light in a lower-energy range than the other three instruments. As a result, its detectors are even more sensitive to thermal vibrations. These unwanted signals are what astronomers refer to as โ€œnoise,โ€ and they can overwhelm the faint signals that Webb is trying to detect.

 

After launch, Webb will unfold a tennis-court-size sunshield that will block MIRI and the other instruments from the Sunโ€™s heat, allowing them to cool passively. Beginning about 77 days after launch, MIRIโ€™s cryocooler will spend 19 days lowering the temperature of the instrumentโ€™s detectors to less than 7 kelvins.

 

โ€œItโ€™s relatively easy to cool something down to that temperature on Earth, typically for scientific or industrial applications,โ€ said Konstantin Penanen, a cryocooler specialist at NASAโ€™s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Southern California, which manages the MIRI instrument for NASA. โ€œBut those Earth-based systems are very bulky and energy inefficient. For a space observatory, we need a cooler that is physically compact, highly energy efficient, and it has to be highly reliable because we canโ€™t go out and repair it. So those are the challenges we faced, and in that respect, I would say the MIRI cryocooler is certainly at the cutting edge.โ€

 

One of Webbโ€™s big science goals will be to study the properties of the first generation of stars to form in the universe. Webbโ€™s Near-Infrared Camera, or NIRCam instrument, will be able to detect these extremely distant objects, and MIRI will help scientists confirm that these faint sources of light are clusters of first-generation stars, rather than second-generation stars that form later as a galaxy evolves.

 

By peering through even thicker clouds of dust than the near-infrared instruments, MIRI will reveal the birthplaces of stars. It will also detect molecules that are common on Earth โ€“ like water, carbon dioxide, and methane, and those of rocky minerals like silicates โ€“ in cool environments around nearby stars, where planets may form. Near-infrared instruments are better at detecting these molecules as vapor in much hotter environments, while MIRI can see them as ices.

 

โ€œBy combining expertise from both the United States and Europe, we have developed MIRI as a powerful capability for Webb that will enable astronomers from all over the world to answer big questions about how stars, planets, and galaxies form and evolve,โ€ said Gillian Wright, co-lead of the MIRI science team and the instrumentโ€™s European principal investigator at the UK Astronomy Technology Centre (UK ATC).

The Big Chill

 

The MIRI cryocooler uses helium gas โ€“ enough to fill about nine party balloons โ€“ to carry heat away from the instrumentโ€™s detectors. Two electrically powered compressors pump the helium through a tube that extends to where the detectors are located. The tube runs through a block of metal that is also attached to the detectors; the cooled helium absorbs excess heat from the metal block, which in turn keeps the detectors at their operational temperature below 7 kelvins. The warmed (but still quite cold) gas then returns to the compressors, where it dumps the excess heat, and the cycle begins again. Fundamentally, the system is similar to those used in home refrigerators and air conditioners.

 

The tubing that carries the helium is made of gold-coated stainless steel and measures less than one-tenth of an inch (2.5 millimeters) in diameter. It extends about 30 feet (10 meters) from the compressors, located in a region called the spacecraft bus, to MIRIโ€™s detectors, located in the Optical Telescope Element, behind the observatoryโ€™s honeycomb-shaped primary mirror. Hardware called the Deployable Tower Assembly, or DTA, connects these two regions. When packed for launch, the DTA is compressed, sort of like a piston, to help fit the stowed observatory into the protective faring that rides atop the rocket. Once in space, the tower will extend to separate the room-temperature spacecraft bus from the much colder Optical Telescope Instrument, and to allow the sunshield and telescope to fully deploy.

Rule - Self-contained

Since we are to let every man be a liar and God be true [1]; outside references are not required to solve the riddles and see the shadows. This keeps us devoted.

Not only are we not going to bring in extra-biblical books to determine the meaning of scripture, but we will not make apostles out of historians, document critics or scholars by elevating their writings concerning the meaning of scripture.

Historian

We miss the meaning that Jesus intended as he confronted the rich man who asked how to get into the kingdom, if we accept a historian's report that here was a gate in Jerusalem called "the eye of the needle" [2]. Do we really believe that people were incapable of understanding the word of God until this little gem was 'discovered' by a 'professor' who needed to publish or perish?

 

Document critics

We will not make apostles out of document critics. The mystery, written in the same words used for the literal history, act like security paper. If one were to change the words of the literal history, the mystery would be scrambled. If there are errors to documents that have been received, they will be plain when the hidden narrative is discerned. God said he would protect every jot and tittle of his word [3], so we know that one of the variant documents is true.

 

Scholars

We will not make apostles out of scholars. Scholars present opinions. They get no credit for presenting old truth, they must perpetually come up with something novel to get their name cited in other papers. You pastor has more motivation to teach truth than scholars.

If we reference historians, document critics, or scholars, it will be to add color to the discussion, and more often than not, to refute popular myths they perpetuate.

 

Consequence of using outside resources: You make the historian, the document critic, or the scholar into an apostle, giving him power over the interpretation of scripture.

Rule - Self examination

Jer 17:9 The heart [is] deceitful above all [things], and desperately wicked: who can know it?

Our assumptions about scripture and the rules we use to guide our interpretation effect the ultimate meaning that we get from scripture. It is important to evaluate those assumptions and rules to ensure that they permit the scriptures to speak for themselves rather than permitting us to impose our own meaning upon them.

My assumptions and convictions are these:

  1. The Bible is the word of God which has been protected for us in such a manner that it is considered infallible in every jot and tittle. [1]

  2. It is acknowledged that there are variant texts in existing manuscripts. By using the proper methods of interpretation, as taught by the apostles, errant manuscripts may be discerned by the 'security paper' of the mystery. [2]

  3. The meaning of the Bible is contained in multiple layers as described by the church from the earliest days [3], as a literal and a spiritual layer. These layers are in complete agreement with each other in every way. Apparent contradictions are intentional riddles describing two sides of the issue. [4]

  4. The hidden spiritual layer is discerned using methods taught by the apostles in the New Testament. It is called the meat of the gospel, whereas the literal meaning is called the milk of the gospel. The milk is sufficient for salvation. The meat provides the spiritual nourishment to enable a mature faith and walk.[5]

The rules are discerned using the same methods as discerning the mystery, so it should be expected that those practicing literal methods may disagree with how the rules are determined. That doesn't matter. The mystery needs to be evaluated to see if it is self-consistent as well as if it produces verifiable, meaningful, and orthodox [6] results.

Consequence of not doing self-examination:: The measure of truth becomes the individual and the standard changes to meet your own goals.

Rule - Humility

Since God has said that not a jot or tittle will pass away [1]; until one knows why each jot and tittle is there, a complete understanding has not been derived. This keeps us humble.

Such humility is exemplified by one who listens to othersโ€™ observations based on scripture, and tests all things to hold fast to those things which are good [2]. Such humility is missing in one who insists that his opinion [3] is correct, and uses phrases like โ€œThe Bible says soโ€ while pulling passages out of context and displaying an attitude of unwillingness to discuss the meaning or context of those passages.

It is a shameful behavior to decide a matter before it is heard. [4]

Consequence of lack of humility The scriptures are wrested or twisted to mean what you want them to mean.

2Pe 3:16 As also in all [his] epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as [they do] also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

โ€œThe thing that would really turn it around and get the police back doing what they should be doing is if white children start getting shot in drive-bys, if whites were killed at the rate of blacks at drive-bys,โ€ Mac Donald said on SiriusXMโ€™s Breitbart News Sunday with host Joel Pollak.

 

She continued, โ€œDozens of blacks are killed every day in drive-bys. Nobody knows about them. They are off the media screen. In Chicago alone this year, 27 children under the age of 15 have been fatally gunned down in drive-by shootings. Can you imagine if 27 white children in Chicago had been fatally gunned down in drive-by shootings? There would be a revolution in that city, if not in the country, but because those kids are black and because their killers are black, the media doesnโ€™t give a damn and policymakers turn their eyes away because you cannot basically talk about black crime without talking about black criminality, and nobody wants to do that. Theyโ€™re terrified of the subject.โ€

 

Mac Donald noted how left-wing media and politicians frame racially disproportionate social metrics โ€” including crime statistics โ€” as functions of โ€œracism.โ€ Such leftist dogma, she added, facilitates lawlessness by retraining law enforcement.

 

She remarked, โ€œThe only thing that can turn this crime wave around is if leaders repudiate the narrative about racist policing and repudiate the idea that law enforcement that has a disparate impact on blacks is by definition racist.โ€

 

โ€œIf police go back to enforcing the law they will inevitably generate racially disproportionate crime and arrest data. You can see it for yourself. Look at these videos. Videos donโ€™t lie. Rule - Complete

Since man shall live โ€œby every wordโ€ [1] [2]; a doctrine is not sound until it sums up and includes all that God has said about it. [3] This keeps us searching.

This attitude of searching recognizes that the Bible is full of meaning, and that perhaps one person in his own studies has not yet identified or considered all the applicable passages. This attitude is missing when a few verses are used as a shotgun to force a discussion to a preconceived conclusion.

A doctrine must sum up and include everything the Bible says about it in the literal and hidden layers.

Consequence of lack of completeness Conclusions may be premature. [4]

Rule - Rigorous

Since every word concerning life and death must be established by two or three witnesses [1]; every shadow/symbol must have at least two supporting scripture witnesses.

This means we cannot define a shadow with a single verse. The shadows speak of Christ and the cross. There is no other topic which addresses life and death for all men. This keeps us rigorous in methodology. A shadow is a hidden meaning which is not contained in the literal meaning [2].

Shadows are not the product of a wild imagination and are therefore verifiable by the scriptures. When a shadow has two or three witnesses, it should be regarded as a tentative meaning. This rule does not permit three verses to be the end of discussion, but specifically forbids a single verse from becoming definitive.

Consequence of lack of rigor: Conclusions may be premature and/or wrong.

 

  1. De 17:6 At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall he that is worthy of death be put to death; [but] at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death.

  2. Heb 10:1 ยถ For the law having a shadow of good things to come, [and] not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.

 

Rules - Conclusion

If one skims through the rules without comprehending them, or like Naaman hears the instruction but is insulted at their apparent simplicity [1], the results of exegesis will look like the free-for-all allegory of others that we all reject.

It should not be expected that using the 'Syrian waters' of free-for-all allegory should produce a result any different than before.

The rules must be used rigorously to discern the truth of scripture.

I hope this blesses you as you reconsider if you can read the Bible the way Jesus did or if you have been ham-strung by the lie that the Bible is merely a literal-historical record.

 

Just as God works invisibly behind the scenes while we do what we do, he caused a second book to be written in the literal history, hidden by prophetic riddle. The Bible itself is a metaphor of the reality of his works. What we see and what we don't see. All of the Old Testament is written in this 2 layer format. All of the New Testament gets it's theology from the hidden layer and is a commentary on it.

Jesus had opened the eyes of his disciples, their hearts burned. [1]

The 'burning bosom' is not the testimony of the Holy Spirit, but a fulfilled prophecy. God would write the law on the hearts of his people. [2]

Holy grail of preaching

A good preacher or teacher desires to teach God's word; his intended meaning, not merely his own opinion of scripture. Paul calls it prophesying. [1]

In the sermon on the road, Jesus revealed the mysteries which had been hidden in all the prophets. [2] [3]

As the disciples thereafter studied the scriptures, they remembered what Jesus taught before the cross, and coupled it with what he taught on the road. The Gospels are snapshots of their learning, over time, of the progress in their understanding. [4]

The Gospels are 'updates' of the current teaching in the Jewish churches at ten to fifteen year intervals, given to the Gentile churches which did not study the Hebrew for themselves. [5]

The 'new thing' that God speaks about is just like this. He has put it away where it was not visible, and brought it out after the cross. [2]

The new thing was not recognized by the religious experts. They had not yet seen it in the scriptures. [3]

The old thing

The new thing was contained and hidden in the old thing. The new teaching is a new view of the Old Testament as seen through the eyes of those whose eyes had been opened. [1]

Paul taught from the OT

Paul was a trained theologian of the Pharisees and was zealous of the Old Testament scriptures. [1]

My father inlaw, never taken a vax in his life. Still doing manual labor in his 70s. No medical conditions, on no medications is pressured into taking the vax by elderly neighborโ€™s. Within a week he was in hospital with clots all over his liver and lungs. 3 days later he was dead. The Bible - written for one child

The Bible - written for one child The Bible was written primarily for Jesus to know who he was and what he should do.

 

Pre-incarnation

Before becoming a baby, Jesus was known as 'The Word', or 'the Son of God'. John declares:

Joh 1:1 ยถ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John also says that in heaven there are three who testify: the Father, the Word, and the Spirit [1]

John also read in Ge 1:3 that when God said "Let there be light" the Hebrew word said [7] also means word and lamb. Perhaps when he heard John the Baptist proclaim that Jesus was the lamb of God, he heard that Jesus was the Word of God. [8]

 

He was fully God with all the attributes (powers) of deity. He knew everything there was to know. He was all-powerful; able to accomplish his will. He was also present everywhere; not yet having a physical body.

 

Knowing that when he chose to take the body of a child, he would no longer be everywhere. While in that body, he would not use his divine power; he would not be a super-baby, flying, moving large stones and turning clay pigeons into living birds. Nor would he use his knowledge of everything. He would choose to limit himself to the capabilities of a baby, who would grow into a man [9]

 

How would he know who he was (the eternal Word of God), and what he was to do (make the Father known by dying on the cross)? How would he know the plan purposed from the beginning? He would experience a God-sized amnesia about his divine nature.

The riddles (dark sayings) are now available, because Jesus gave the apostles the 'keys' to teaching. [25] They teach these keys in their writings. In the books of the New Testament, the authors teach us to read the riddles of the Old.
