Here's what we wrote in late March about Barron:

In the 1980s, when reporters called the Trump Organization to request an interview with the boss, they were sometimes referred to a spokesman, instead. That a busy and image-conscious executive such as Donald Trump would place a buffer between himself and the media was hardly unusual, but there was a twist: The spokesman, John Barron, was actually Trump, hiding behind a fake name.

Barron (also spelled “Baron” in some press accounts) appears to have been Trump’s go-to alias when he was under scrutiny, in need of a tough front man or otherwise wanting to convey a message without attaching his own name to it.

Trump’s use of an assumed name runs counter to the persona he has crafted as the leading Republican candidate for president — one of an unfiltered, politically incorrect maverick who is unafraid to say anything. It suggests that the billionaire real estate mogul is — or, at least, was — not so bold as he likes to present himself.

Remarkably, Trump kept up the charade for a full decade, as reporters unwittingly quoted Barron as if he were a real person. In a LexisNexis search, the first mention of the name appears on June 6, 1980, in a New York Times report about Trump’s controversial decision to destroy two Art Deco sculptures he had conditionally promised to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. In that instance, Trump used the alias to stall for three days before finally giving an interview under his own name; when he did, he told the Times that he had been out of town and unavailable (!).

When the original plan to build Trump Castle (in New York, instead of Atlantic City) fell apart in 1984, Barron spun the failure as a business win: “It sure is easier to get a large commission on a $105 million sale than to put up a building,” New York magazine quoted Barron as saying in its Aug. 13 issue that year, referring to a decision by Trump and partner Prudential Insurance to sell a Madison Avenue property, rather than develop it.

As owner of the USFL’s New Jersey Generals in 1985, Trump used Barron to publicly pressure his counterparts in the ill-fated pro football league to help him pick up the tab for quarterback Doug Flutie. On April 2 of that year, The Washington Post quoted Barron as saying that “when a guy goes out and spends more money than a player is worth, he expects to get partial reimbursement from the other owners.”

Trump might have gotten away with his ruse even longer if not for a lawsuit in which he testified, under oath in 1990, that “I believe on occasion I used that name.”

The suit dealt with Trump’s employment of undocumented migrant workers from Poland on his Trump Tower project — a case that has attracted renewed attention in the 2016 presidential campaign, particularly after Marco Rubio raised it during a debate in February. A lawyer who had represented the workers in their effort years earlier to recover back pay testified in the case that a man who identified himself as John Barron had called one day in 1980 and threatened a lawsuit if the workers didn't stop trying to collect additional wages.

Trump biographer Michael D'Antonio wrote in his 2015 book, "Never Enough: Donald Trump and the Pursuit of Excellence," that the business magnate borrowed the phony-spokesman trick from his father, Fred Trump, who sometimes posed as a "Mr. Green."

Shortly after the revelation, the Associated Press published a brief, lighthearted piece about a real-life man named John Baron, who was a partner in a Denver management consulting firm. Baron had learned of Trump’s name game and sent him a letter.

“I ask only that you consider inviting my mother, the estimable Betty Baron, to lunch in New York as a way of thanking her,” Baron wrote. “After all, it was she who came up with the name by which we both have prospered.”

Trump hasn’t used the alias in many years, but he continues to troll the media in subtle ways. On Sunday, he tweeted a happy birthday message to his youngest son, who is named "Barron."

After being introduced to Ivan Illich as an educational thinker by two retired friends who were teachers, it raised so many questions in life that I have decided to create a series of digests on his famous book Deschooling Society. He is a thinker who demands being read, so if you have not encountered his thought I recommend you make a point to read his work firsthand and then prompt you to go and explore it yourself. This is the very spirit of Ivan Illich.

The best insight into Ivan Illich’s life and works has to be firstly from being the autodidact (self learner), then from his own words, and then from the excellent series that broadcaster David Cayley made with rare and in depth interviews with the man himself. The five part series called ‘Part Moon, Part Travelling Salesman’ you can see punctuating this brief article.

This man Illich has disturbed my cosy thinking and influenced my perspective on education and the great institutions which shape our lives. In this post modernist age, and I use that phrase with some reservation, the role of institutions, their objectives, their origins and effectiveness must the re-examined in light of our ever moving society.

Society does not always move forward into progress, nor in any single direction. Ivan Illich had great vision understanding the deracination (uprooting) of people from their own experience. He was concerned about the polution and destruction of our environment, our food, our medicine, our institutions and spoke plainly about the problems.

January 6 Committee Chairman Rep. Bennie Thompson on Sunday said the panel has spoken to former Attorney General Bill Barr.

Politico on Friday published a draft executive order that “would have directed the defense secretary to seize voting machines and a document titled “Remarks on National Healing.””

CBS’s Face the Nation host Margaret Brennan asked Bennie Thompson about the draft executive order published by Politico.

“There was also another story, significant — Politico published the text of a draft executive order that had been presented to President Trump in December of 2020 to have the Defense Secretary seize voting machines in battleground states and multiple news organizations have now reported this. Do you intend to go to the Attorney General, Bill Barr, to ask him about this? I mean, how do you follow up on this kind of allegation and the paperwork to back it up?” Margaret Brennan asked Bennie Thompson.

“Well yes, we do. To be honest with you, we’ve had conversations with the former Attorney General already. We have talked to Department of Defense individuals. Uh, we are concerned, uh, that our military was part of this big lie on promoting that the election was false. So if you are using the military to potentially seize voting machines even though it’s a discussion, the public needs to know. We’ve never had that before and so any of these individuals who are participating and trying to stop the election — the duly election of a president, and if we can document it, we will share it with the public,” Bennie Thompson said.

Margaret Brennan asked Bennie Thompson if there was actually an operation plan beyond the draft executive order.

Rep. Thompson said there was no operational plan, but the “draft itself” is reason enough to investigate and continue to harass Bill Barr.

“Will the former attorney general, Bill Barr, testify to you? Will you seek out other members of the military to clarify some of what you just laid out here?” Margaret Brennan asked.

Thompson said the J-6 Committee has plans to hold public hearings and some people may be brought in to give depositions under oath.

A bill working its way through the New Hampshire legislature would allow residents to receive ivermectin from pharmacies with a prescription of a doctor or an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) for the off-label treatment of Covid-19

House Bill 2011 would allow pharmacists to "dispense ivermectin under the delegated prescriptive authority of the physician or APRN (Advanced Practice Registered Nurses), specify a mechanism to document screening performed and the prescription in the patient's medical record, and include a plan for evaluating and treating adverse events," reads the bill. "Any such prescription shall be regarded as being issued for a legitimate medical purpose in the usual course of professional practice."

Ivermectin, a protease inhibitor (just like Pfizer's new Covid pill), has come under attack ever since former President Trump suggested it as a potential treatment for Covid-19. Shortly thereafter, a flurry of anti-ivermectin studies came out - the majority of which analyzed already-hospitalized patients, as opposed to its use as an early intervention.

A new report claimed that Hunter Biden and a former aide to Joe Biden invested in a Chinese company with ties to the Chinese Communist Party.

In 2009, U.S. investment firm Rosemont Seneca Partners was founded by Hunter Biden, son of President Joe Biden; Christopher Heinz, stepson of former Secretary of State John Kerry; and Devon Archer, an American businessman who was classmates with Heinz at Yale University.

According to emails reviewed by Fox Business, Rosemont Seneca Partners held a 5% investment stake in Harves Amusement Parks and ownership in Harves Sports and Entertainment as recently as March 2017. A purported email exposing the ownership interests of Rosemont Seneca Advisors was allegedly sent to Hunter by Eric Schwerin — Hunter Biden's longtime business partner.

The report alleged that Hunter's original introduction to the Harves Group arrived in 2015 by Francis Person, who served as an adviser to then-Vice President Biden from 2009 to 2014 and was a "special assistant" to Biden when he was a senator.

In July 2014, Person stopped working with then-Vice President Joe Biden. In January 2015, Person became the president of the Harves Group. By May 2018, Person became the co-founder of Harves Global Entertainment.

Person reportedly wrote an email to Hunter in July 2015, which invited him to travel to China the following month to meet his business partner — Bo Zhang.

"Bo Zhang and his family would host us. They are a great family with great respect and relationships in China," Person allegedly wrote to Hunter in an email. "Bo graduated from American Univ and is in his late 20’s, and his parents own Harves Century Group of Shenyang - which is a top tier private Chinese real estate development firm."

According to the purported email, Person highlighted that Zhang was being "groomed to take over the family's dynasty" and that "there will be plenty of big things that come down the road that we can work on."

"His mom is actually the Chairman of the company, which is unique in China," the alleged email said. "They are very private, and wouldn’t tell anyone about you coming. Bo's father-in-law is actually the Governor of Hainan (Chinese Hawaii), which he doesn’t advertise at all."

Bo's father-in-law is Liu Cigui — who since 2012 has been a member of the CCP Central Committee — the party’s "highest organ of authority," according to China Vitae. Between 2012 and 2017, Cigui was a member of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, which is "a secretive, powerful agency in charge of investigating the Communist Party’s own members for corruption," and was "the main weapon in Xi Jinping’s rapid consolidation of power as China’s new leader," according to the Washington Post.

Bill Barr has been speaking to Capitol riot committee about Trump’s secret plan

Chairman Bennie Thompson revealed on Sunday that former Attorney General Bill Barr met with the House Select Committee investigating the Capitol riot on January 6.

In an interview with CBS News’ Face The Nation, Mississippi Democrat Greg Abbott confirmed that Donald Trump was presented with an executive order for the military to seize voting machines in battleground states during the last full month of his presidency.

Do you intend to go to the Attorney General, Bill Barr, to ask him about this? I mean, how do you follow up on this kind of allegation and the paperwork to back it up?’ questioned Margaret Brennan.

Thompson said they already had a conversation, but did not give any more details.

‘To be honest with you, we’ve had conversations with the former attorney general already,’ he said, adding: ‘We have talked to Department of Defense individuals. We are concerned that our military was part of this big lie on promoting that the election was false.’

So, if you are using the military to potentially seize voting machines, even though it’s a discussion, the public needs to know, we’ve never had that before.

And so any of these individuals who are participating and trying to stop the election, the duly election of a president, and if we can document it, we will share it with the public.’

During the public hearings, he did not confirm whether Barr would be called to testify again, only saying that the panel would ‘continue to engage’ with people related to the inquiry into what led to the January 6-related insurrection.’

The former attorney general resigned from his position as attorney general in December 2020. He has since publicly dismissed Trump’s election fraud claims.

Politico published a draft executive order late last week that would have required the Secretary of Defense to ‘seize, collect, retain and analyze’ voting machines in states that narrowly went to President Biden in 2020.

As part of the order, dated December 16, 2020, Homeland Security would also be directed to assist the military effort, and a special counsel would be appointed to look into allegations that the election was rigged.

A draft of such a plan was known to Thompson’s committee on Sunday.

‘We have information that between the Department of Justice, 'a plan was put forward to potentially seize voting machines in the country and utilize Department of Defense assets to make that happen,’ he said.

According to the legislator, the next step will be finding out ‘how far’ the defunct plan made it before it was canceled.

‘We do know that a potential person was identified to become the attorney general of the United States, who would communicate with certain states that election on their situation had been fraudulent and not to produce certified documents,’ Thompson explained.

Well, we understand that. So, we will move forward on that investigation, and we will look and see specifically how far that plan went.’

In response to a question about whether Barr or members of the Defense Department would have to appear at future hearings of the committee, he gave an indirect answer.

‘Well, part of our plan is to continue to engage all those individuals that we deem necessary and important to our investigation,’ Thompson said.

It appears that Reid did not take into account that Big Tech companies, such as YouTube and Facebook, frequently ban internet personalities for spreading what they call “misinformation” about coronavirus, thus severely impacting their audience outreach and hindering profits.

Disgraced attorney Michael Avenatti heads to trial, accused of swindling Stormy Daniels

Michael Avenatti, the disgraced celebrity lawyer and fierce Donald Trump critic, is scheduled to go on trial Monday in Manhattan for allegedly swindling ex-porn star Stormy Daniels out of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Avenatti is accused of fleecing Daniels – his former client – of about $300,000 in money she stood to collect for a 2018 advance on a book about her alleged affair with Trump.

He faces one count of wire fraud and one count of aggravated identity theft, according to a federal indictment.

In August of 2018, the loudmouth lawyer forged Daniels’ signature on a letter that instructed her literary agent to forward advance money into a bank account he controlled, federal prosecutors allege.

Avenatti used the cash on day-to-day expenses, such as covering payroll for his law firm and a coffee company he owned, federal authorities allege.

He also spent the money on his luxury lifestyle, including a $3,900 monthly lease payment on a Ferrari and more than $20,000 on airfare, hotels, car services, restaurants and other expenses, the feds allege.

Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, is expected to be called by prosecutors to testify against Avenatti at the trial, a spokesperson for the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York said.

Opening statements are scheduled for Monday morning, but it’s unclear when Daniels will testify.

In a statement, Avenatti denied the charges against him.

“I am completely innocent of these charges. The government is spending millions of dollars to prosecute me for a case that should have never been filed,” he said.

venatti and Daniels rose to national fame after it was revealed Trump’s former attorney, Michael Cohen, paid her $130,000 in hush money soon before the 2016 presidential election to keep the lid on her alleged affair with Trump.

Trump denies ever having sex with Daniels.

Avenatti built a reputation in the national media as a Trump antagonist as he represented Daniels, including in a civil suit against the former president. The 2018 suit sought to drop a nondisclosure agreement that Daniels argued was invalid because Trump never signed the document.

The twice-weekly rapid antigen tests (RATs) as part of the NSW and Victorian government's back-to-school plan has parents outraged over the COVID-smart plan.

as I said, am writing that not neccessarily for anons (even thought prolly all of the anons posting a lot consider themselves knights of the cross and know what I am talking about anyway) but am saying that for future generations.

so when I came home from Berlin and kind of "learned" some sort of routine (hot/cold/walking around in a way that seems very controlled/ doing the chakras thing/smoking cigarettes and weed) this went on for several months (cannot exactly say anymore).

e.g. I went outside to go for a smoke not when I wanted to but only when there was a "hint" to do so. and when there were hints to right now pull on the cigarette, I did, e.g. when a tiny white fly was flying through my field of view or in my direction. I put out the cigarette (sometimes after only a few pulls from it) and in many cases right after putting it out, there were hints to go smoke another one.

or e.g. I made myself a coffee (not the coffee guy, enjoy tee more, but do drink doffee when e.g. having cake with family), mixed the amount of sugar spoons in depending on hints. and, when hints, put away the coffee after only a couple of zips. then maybe made another one, bc "hints".

I eat what people around me hinted (mainly my mom bc beeing living at her place bc loosing job of depression - which kind of brought me to the board - and later not getting a job bc thinking I better spend my time fighting for the truth on QR).

I went outside to smoke when hinted. and so on. on top of that e.g. I was thinking about something, someone of my family making a joke and they all loughing. but at the exact moment that it just fitted my thoughts and they were basically loughing at me.

and even then, the whole time I reached to point of "go fuck yourselves, not going to do that" many times. but anyway kept going on that kind of "routine" (which was not even a routine but obviiously different a little every time so I could not ever "do it right".

e.g. when walking to that tinyl pool and e.g. thworing my towel on it to put on by back to cool down (to really make me freeze and shake with blue lips and fingers) there were little animals like flies and such in the pool. so everytime I saw one that was alive I screwed the "routine" and took some time to save that animal.

Cameroon nightclub fire leaves 17 people dead, several injured, after blaze initially mistaken for fireworks show

A fire erupted at a popular nightclub in Yaounde, Cameroon's capital, setting off explosions and killing at least 17 people, government officials said on Sunday.

Patrons initially mistook the explosions as a fireworks show

The tragedy comes as the central African country hosts thousands of soccer players, fans and match officials from across the continent for the month-long African Football Cup of Nations tournament.

A government statement said the fire erupted at the Livs Nightclub in the capital's Bastos neighbourhood, setting off a series of explosions.

Workers said it was a short-circuit that customers initially thought was a fireworks show.

The explosions went off once the blaze spread to a place where cooking gas was being stored, causing panic, the workers said.

In addition to the deaths, the government said, some people were injured and taken to the hospital.

The Cameroon Tribute reported that seven people had been transported via ambulance, with some being treated for third-degree wounds.

"We are still at the level of investigations to find out the names and nationalities of the dead and the wounded," said government spokesman Rene Emmanuel Sadi.

In a statement, Cameroonian President Paul Biya called for calm and assured players and fans of their safety.

The championship, featuring teams from 24 countries, originally was scheduled for 2021 but then was postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Florida man admits to threatening to behead Nancy Pelosi and AOC

Miami, Florida – 60-year-old Paul Vernon Hoeffer on Friday pled guilty in federal court to making threatening phone calls to two members of Congress and a district attorney.

As part of the plea, Hoeffer admitted that in March 2019, he called Speaker Nancy Pelosi‘s office in Washington, D.C. and threatened to come a “long, long, way” to rattle her head with bullets and cut her head off. On the same day, Hoeffer also called a district attorney in the State of Illinois, telling her bullets were going to “rattle her brain.”

Again, in November of 2020, Hoeffer called another Congresswoman, this time New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. During this call, he threatened that he would “rip her head off,” and told her to sleep with one eye open.

U.S. District Judge Aileen M. Cannon will sentence Hoeffer on April 1, at 11:00 a.m., in Ft. Pierce. Hoeffer faces up to 15 years in federal prison.

A Los Angeles area shooting at a house party early Sunday left four people dead and another injured, according to local reports and city officials.

The shooting took place in Inglewood, a city of about 100,000 people 10 miles southwest of downtown Los Angeles, around 1:30 a.m.

Three people were pronounced dead at the scene, FOX 11 reported. Paramedics rushed two others to the hospital. One of them is expected to survive, and the other died en route to the hospital, according to CBS2.

The victims who died were reportedly two females and two males.

Speaking to reporters later Sunday morning, Inglewood Mayor James Butts described the shooting as an "ambush" involving multiple shooters firing multiple weapons including a rifle and a handgun. The mayor said it was the largest number of single shooting victims in Inglewood since the 1990s.

"These are sociopathic killers that have to be sequestered from society," Butts said of the shooters. "Turn yourselves in. We will find you, and we will prosecute you."

Police haven't released a potential motive or said if any of the victims were targeted. Officers interviewed witnesses and canvassed the neighborhood looking for possible security camera footage.

Fox News has reached out to the Inglewood Police Department and Los Angeles County Fire Department seeking further information but did not hear back before publication.

The man who survived allegedly admitted to being a member of a street gang in another city and investigators are trying to determine if the shooting was gang-related, CBS2 reported.

Inglewood is home to SoFi Stadium, where the Super Bowl will be played next month.

Top-ranked Merrill Lynch wealth manager arrested after throwing drink at teen smoothie shop employees, cops say

A Connecticut man is accused of going on a xenophobic tirade at a smoothie shop. The wealth manager was arrested for throwing a drink at one of the employees at the smoothie shop in Fairfield, according to police.

James Iannazzo, 48, of Fairfield, reportedly went to the Robeks smoothie store in Fairfield on Friday afternoon. Approximately 30 minutes after leaving the food establishment, he called 911 to request emergency medical services for his son, who was suffering from an allergic reaction. The child was transported to a local hospital, according to authorities.

Iannazzo returned to the Robeks location roughly an hour after his original visit that afternoon. A visibly agitated Iannazzo is seen on video verbally abusing the four teen workers at Robeks. Iannazzo demands to know who made his smoothie from over an hour ago, but the employees are not sure who made that specific smoothie.

Iannazzo lashes out at the teens with foul language, "Fing, stupid fing ignorant high school kids.”

After being instructed to leave by one of the employees, the man growls, "I want to speak to the f***ing manager."

An employee advises the disgruntled man to contact the corporate office to file a complaint, to which Iannazzo says, "Get the f out of here, you fing b****!"

While the teen girls turn their heads away from Iannazzo, he hurls a drink at the employees, hitting one girl in the shoulder.

Iannazzo unleashes a string of profanities against the girl he hit with the drink.

The irate man asks for a phone number for the corporate office, but the employee repeatedly tells him to leave the establishment.

Iannazzo yells back, "Shut the f up! Stupid fing idiot. You’re a fing idiot. I want the fing number. Shut up."

Iannazzo then says, "You’re f***ing immigrant loser."

The man attempts to then access the "employees only" area, but one of the girls is pushing back and he can't open the door.

According to Heavy, TikTok user @cjjbreezy uploaded the original video with a caption: "There was one girl, she was 16. Literally, it was like her second day. She was in the back, already called the police."
