Baltic state asks for permanent US troop deployment

 

The Latvian president has said an American presence at Russia’s doorstep will send a ‘strong signal’ to Moscow

 

Latvian President Egils Levits has called for a “permanent presence” of US troops in the Baltics amid Russia’s offensive in Ukraine. He argued that the move would deter Moscow from “aggression beyond Ukraine.” Russia has repeatedly stated it does not plan to attack any other countries, insisting that its actions in Ukraine were aimed at protecting the Russian-speaking population of Donbass.

 

During an interview with CNN’s ‘State of the Union’ on Sunday, Levits said a permanent US military presence in the region was “absolutely” necessary to combat what he said was Russian “aggression.”

 

“NATO should strengthen the NATO eastern flank, the Baltics, Poland, Romania, so that this would be a strong signal to Moscow that NATO is ready to defend the member states,” he suggested, adding, “I welcome also the American troops in Poland, in Baltics.”

Levits accused Russia of harboring “ideas of aggression beyond Ukraine” – something Moscow has denied – and argued that keeping NATO troops permanently in the Baltics would be a “response” to the alleged Russian threat to the region.

 

During the interview, Levits also claimed Russia’s conflict with Ukraine was “not only aggression against a state,” but also an act of “aggression against the West” and “against the Western values.”

 

The US and NATO have only ever had a rotational presence in the Baltics.

 

Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics said last week that the country would have to increase its defense budget in response to Russia’s Ukraine conflict.

 

Moscow attacked its neighbor in late February, following a seven-year standoff over Ukraine’s failure to implement the terms of the Minsk Agreements, and Russia’s eventual recognition of the Donbass republics in Donetsk and Lugansk. The German- and French-brokered protocols had been designed to regularize the status of those regions within the Ukrainian state.

 

Russia has now demanded that Ukraine officially declare itself a neutral country that will never join the US-led NATO military bloc. Kiev insists the Russian offensive was completely unprovoked and has denied claims it was planning to retake the two republics by force.

How $1.8 billion in aid to Ukraine was funneled to the outposts of the international finance galaxy

 

Kolomoisky had built his multibillion dollar financial base partly thanks to his mastery of “raiding,” the local version of mergers and acquisitions, involving methods that would make even the most hardened Wall Street financier turn pale. According to Matthew Rojansky, director of the Kennan Institute at the Woodrow Wilson Center for International Scholars, who has made a special study of the practice, “there are actual firms in Ukraine . . . registered with offices and business cards, firms [that specialize in] various dimensions of the corporate raiding process, which includes armed guys to do stuff, forging documents, bribing notaries, bribing judges.” In April 2014, as the separatists advanced, Kolomoisky mobilized his workforce into a 20,000-man private army in two battalions, Dnipro-1 and Dnipro-2, and stemmed the tide. According to Wilson Center director Rojansky, Kolomosiky is “perceived as the bulwark and the reason why the whole Novorossiya project [Putin’s plan to absorb most of eastern Ukraine] broke down at the border of the Donbass.”

 

As the largest bank, Kolomoisky’s PrivatBank stood to garner the largest share of the international aid. Published estimates put this share as high as 40 percent. Despite the torrent of cash, the banks’ situation did not improve; nine months into the program, the IMF announced: “As of end January 2015 . . . the banking system’s capital adequacy ratio stood at 13.8 percent, down from 15.9 percent at end-June.” Where had the money gone?

 

Nash Groshi (Our Money) – Investigative branch that pursued the missing IMF billions.

 

In this case however, thanks to investigative work by the Ukrainian anticorruption watchdog group Nashi Groshi (“Our Money”), we can actually watch the process by which the gigantic sum of $1.8 billion was smoothly maneuvered offshore, in the first instance to PrivatBank accounts in Cyprus, and thence into accounts in Belize, the British Virgin Islands, and other outposts of the international financial galaxy. The scheme, as revealed in a series of court judgments of the Economic Court of the Dnipropetrovsk region monitored and reported by Nashi Groshi, worked like this: Forty-two Ukrainian firms owned by fifty-four offshore entities registered in Caribbean, American, and Cypriot jurisdictions and linked to or affiliated with the Privat group of companies, took out loans from PrivatBank in Ukraine to the value of $1.8 billion. The firms then ordered goods from six foreign “supplier” companies, three of which were incorporated in the United Kingdom, two in the British Virgin Islands, one in the Caribbean statelet of St. Kitts & Nevis. Payment for the orders—$1.8 billion—was shortly afterwards prepaid into the vendors’ accounts, which were, coincidentally, in the Cyprus branch of PrivatBank. Once the money was sent, the Ukrainian importing companies arranged with PrivatBank Ukraine that their loans be guaranteed by the goods on order.

 

But the foreign suppliers invariably reported that they could not fulfill the order after all, thus breaking the contracts, but without any effort to return the money. Finally, the Ukrainian companies filed suit, always in the Dnipropetrovsk Economic Court, demanding that that foreign supplier return the prepayment and also that the guarantee to PrivatBank be cancelled. In forty-two out of forty-two such cases the court issued the identical judgment: the advance payment should be returned to the Ukrainian company, but the loan agreement should remain in force.

 

As a result, the loan of the Ukrainian company remained guaranteed by the undelivered goods, while the chances of returning the advance payments from foreign companies remain remote. “Basically this transaction of $1.8 bill[ion] abroad with the help of fake contracts was simply an asset siphoning [operation] and a violation of currency legislation in general,” explained Lesya Ivanovna, an investigator with Nashi Groshi in an email to me. “The whole lawsuit story was only needed to make it look like the bank itself is not involved in the scheme . . . officially it looks like PrivatBank now owns the products, though in reality [they] will never be delivered.

The Year of Mercy helps us to receive God’s mercy through a change of heart and action. We call this conversion. Conversion is an ongoing process in our lives. The more active we are about examining our lives and adjusting our behavior the more we have the opportunity to experience being loved by God. Yes, we will still hear an occasional “I told you so” both from God and maybe even from our friends (and maybe even from our non-friends); but, relax, that is a sign of our humanity, which God loves so much that He took it on Himself in Jesus, and clearly that we’re not in heaven yet.

I discovered all this, as well as, her discussing MURDERING ME in detail, with our neighbors (The Lawlers) 3 weeks after proposing to her, while she was 5 months pregnant with my SON.

 

I asked politely, what I was seeing… She went DEAD-SILENT. I asked her to go stay at her mothers for 5 days while I sorted this out. She slandered me, blackmailed me, had her father threaten to have police friends of theirs "take me out", and more… I have not seen my son, but twice, since his birth…

if you're watching developments with Ukraine and Russia, you may be thinking that a lot of what's being reported doesn't make sense or lacks context. We're often getting one side of a story portrayed in black and white terms.

 

And it's difficult to know what "news" is coming from which sources.

 

A good example is the early report about the "brave Ukrainian soldiers" on a place called Snake Island that told Russian military intruders to "Go F*ck Yourselves," and died in a blaze of glory.

 

Many in the media accepted and reported the information as if they'd confirmed it happened, and without question. They said that Ukraine's President Zelenskyy had honored the men posthumously for their bravery.

 

It turns out pieces of that story may not have happened, as reported. In fact, multiple reports now say all of the Ukrainian soldiers are still alive. If so, it would mean they didn't receive posthumous recognition, as had been reported. It's also hard to know if those reports are accurate.

 

What to believe?

 

A documentary called "Ukraine on Fire," made long before the Russia invasion, provides a lot of context that's not being discussed. Filmmaker Oliver Stone interviews Ukrainian figures involved in decades of civil war, infighting, and controversies. The documentary also explores the US role in Ukraine's political upheavals over the years. And it discusses manipulation of media messaging.

One of the most criminal aspects of the COVID regime was the decision to pressure low-risk teens into getting a shot that was known to cause cardiac inflammation. Myocarditis used to be a rare disorder discussed mainly in academic literature, but now it is everywhere. What have we done to a generation of young hearts?

 

Reports of myocarditis and pericarditis are so prevalent now that just in the first 8 weeks of 2022, we’re already at 47% of the total VAERS submissions for 2021 (see Open VAERS (https://openvaers.com/covid-data/myo-pericarditis)). We are over a year into the known safety signals of this vaccine for myocarditis, and yet the shots still have not been pulled, even for younger males. In fact, it’s still a requirement in many colleges.

 

What is so shocking is that several weeks ago, the CDC recognized the problem and attempted to get ahead of it (https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/covid-19/clinical-considerations/covid-19-vaccines-us.html) by suggesting that “an 8-week interval may be optimal for some people ages 12 years and older, especially for males ages 12 to 39 years.” But historically, if we recognized even a fraction of heart problems from a shot, it would have been pulled from the market entirely! Yet here they are still recommending it, despite the fact that the virus poses low risk for this age group, the shot doesn’t stop transmission, and it is now outdated for the current strain of the virus!

 

It’s not acceptable (and never was) for the media and the pharma-paid “fact checkers” to automatically dismiss VAERS. It is our main pharmaco-surveillance tool and was put in place precisely to serve as the consolation to the public for Congress absolving vaccine manufactures of liability. Also, the data complements what we’ve learned universally from all the myocarditis vaccine studies.

 

The CDC’s own researchers published a study in JAMA in which they clinically confirmed most of the myocarditis submissions to VAERS. As such, they concluded (https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jama/fullarticle/2788346), “Given the high verification rate of reports of myocarditis to VAERS after mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccination, underreporting is more likely. Therefore, the actual rates of myocarditis per million doses of vaccine are likely higher than estimated.”

 

Moreover, now we have documents released via FOIA showing that Pfizer admits (https://phmpt.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/125742_S1_M1_waiver-req-designated-suffix.pdf) VAERS is a robust and legitimate safety signal reporting tool. In a document from March 2020 titled, “WAIVER REQUEST FOR FDA-DESIGNATED SUFFIX FOR BIOLOGICS,”

Pfizer recommended against a new adverse event monitoring system, instead touting the “robust” existing methods in place. Pfizer then goes on to cite “The National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act which requires Health Care Professionals… to report adverse events to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS).”

 

Pfizer can’t have it both ways. If VAERS was a good enough system to support its licensure agreement, then it must be held accountable for the blaring safety signals emanating from the existing system. In requesting the funding, lawmakers cited an investigation by The Seattle Times and ProPublica into a Seattle-area campus where children and staff were exposed to a combination of harmful conditions, including elevated levels of polychlorinated biphenyls, or PCBs, a banned chemical that the Environmental Protection Agency has linked to cancer and other illnesses.

 

The school district knew as early as 2014 that PCBs were leaking into classrooms from aging fluorescent lights but were slow to respond to the unfolding crisis, The Times and ProPublica reported.

 

Pollet acknowledged that the proposed budget’s $1.5 million won’t cover the full cost of removing the toxic materials from schools. But he called the funding an “urgent, easy Band-Aid” and the first of many steps.

On a 68-31 vote, the Senate passed the 2,700-page omnibus bill. Members of Congress say there was no time to read what was in it before voting on it.

All 12 fiscal 2022 spending bills that fund the US government and would normally be passed individually with scrutiny

$13.6 billion in supplemental appropriations of taxpayer money to address the crisis in Ukraine

The $15.6 billion for Covid-19 relief that House Democrats were seeking was not included since they refused to accept Republican demands that new funding be paid for with cuts in previously passed pandemic aid.

When did we invent the clock? Remember sundial technology isn't new.

Used to sun calculate days. Even cavemen could distinguish one day from another because of the sun. They might not have had granular time measurement, but they knew that it was dark at night and bright at day (barring a few places on earth).

it goes thru out the night w time stamps

the first time stamp was 1:17 kek

so i guess at another time stamp and sure enough it appeared later in the movie

Why? All other measurements are based off of it. A wrist watch is just an easier to read and more convenient sundial.
