HAPPENING NOW: DOJ says in court (during a fortitously timed Proud Boys hearing) that it anticipates the Jan. 6 select committee releasing all 1,000 witness transcripts in September, along with its final report.

That could occur during or right around the timing if the Proud Boys trial, which is slated to begin in August, and both sides in the case are concerned about what affect this could have on their timing.

Puberty blockers may cause depression and other emotional disturbances related to suicide. The package insert for Lupron, the number one prescribed puberty blocker in America, lists โ€œemotional instabilityโ€ as a side effect and warns prescribers to โ€œMonitor for development or worsening of psychiatric symptoms during treatment.โ€

 

Worse yet, puberty blockers can cause permanent severe side effects, including osteoporosis, mood disorders, seizures, cognitive impairment, and sterility when combined with cross-sex hormones.

According to a reportโ€”First Amendment Demonstrations, issued Jan. 3, 2021, by Chief of Police Robert Contee of the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), Homeland Security Bureau, Special Operations Division, obtained exclusively by The Epoch Timesโ€”the MPD began to activate Civil Disturbance Unit (CDU) platoons on Jan. 4, 2021. Full activation of 28 platoons was scheduled to occur on the following two days.

During his opening remarks before two Senate committees on March 3, 2021, Walker told members of Congress he received a โ€œfrantic callโ€ from Sund in the early afternoon advising that the security perimeter of the Capitol was being breached. However,military leaders informed him that deploying troops would not be โ€œgood optics.โ€ Milley

At the hearing, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene informed the committee three people were involved in turning down repeated requests for the deployment of the National Guard: โ€œChuck Schumer in the Senate, Nancy Pelosi in the House, and Mayor Muriel Bowser. Also involved, are the SSAA Stenger, who answers directly to Schumer, and HSAA Irving, who answers directly to Pelosi.โ€

The Proof

Unknown to the public until now, the First Amendment Demonstrations report alsoreveals that an undisclosed number of โ€œplainclothesโ€ MPD ESU โ€œmembersโ€ were embedded into the crowd to โ€œdocument the actions of the demonstrators and MPDโ€™sresponse to any civil disobedience or criminal activity.โ€

In 2016, the MPD purchased 2,800 body-worn cameras. It is unclear who the MPD ESU โ€œmembersโ€ were. However, they are never referred to as โ€œofficersโ€ or โ€œpolice.โ€ Of the 37 โ€œSpecialized Unitsโ€ listed as part of the MPD, an ESU is not among them. In order for other security personnel to recognize embedded ESU members among the protesters, they wore a specific โ€œbracelet on their left wrist identifying them as MPD personnel,โ€ the report stated.

โ€œWhile it is admittedly an important type of unit to have in the nationโ€™s capital, electronic surveillance requires warrants,โ€ Waller told The Epoch Times. โ€œThe word surveillance itself implies intrusive rather than passive monitoring of people, in which case it would be required for the police to get warrants to conduct electronic surveillance on people. What kind of warrants were asked for and under which jurisdiction? Were they issued? If not, why? Are such warrants necessary for the type of surveillance this unit was doing and how does it work? This raises a huge amount of questions about an entirely new kind of surveillance unit by the police chief of the nationโ€™s capital.โ€

Waller also said the reference to โ€œmembersโ€ of the unit, as opposed to โ€œofficersโ€ or โ€œagents,โ€ is also very disturbing. While he said โ€œthe rest of the memorandum sounds very disciplined in itโ€™s language and specific,โ€that it doesnโ€™t identify โ€œofficersโ€ as members of the Electronic Surveillance Unit โ€œis very troubling.โ€

โ€œAre they using private contractors? Are they using political volunteers?โ€ Waller posed. โ€œAre using paid agents of different types? We donโ€™t know. This is something the public has a right to know and we need to get to the bottom of it. If the D.C Police is running electronic surveillance on American citizens without warrants, this could be a very serious breach of our civil liberties.โ€

Elon Musk was out bright and early on Monday morning updating the market with the company's latest developments and his prognostications about everything from the macroeconomic landscape to dogecoin at the Qatar Economic Forum.

 

He first tackled the topic of layoffs at Tesla, as the company is expected to reduce its salaried workforce by about 10% over the next three months, Musk said in an interview with Bloomberg News Editor-In-Chief John Micklethwait this morning.

Senior advisor to Obama pleads guilty!

 

A former Obama administration official pleaded guilty to federal charges on Friday for his involvement in a secretive effort to unduly influence the Trump administration.

 

Richard G. Olson, who was then-President Barack Obamaโ€™s special representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan in 2015 and 2016, admitted that he lied on ethics paperwork and broke so-called โ€˜revolving doorโ€™ statutes, according to a report in The Washington Post.

 

The report noted that the misdemeanor violations came in connection with Olson lobbying for Qatar within a year of his retirement from the federal government.

 

The Post added:

 

In pre-plea proceedings in federal court in Washington, Olsonโ€™s defense counsel said he admitted to the misdemeanor charges โ€” each punishable by up to one year in prison at his sentencing Sept. 13 โ€” and cooperated with federal prosecutors on the understanding that they were also investigating and pursuing criminal charges against retired four-star Marine Gen. John G. Allen. The latter commanded U.S. and NATO forces in Afghanistan before retiring in 2013. He was tapped in late 2017 as president of Washingtonโ€™s influential Brookings Institution, to which Qatar agreed in 2013 to donate $14.8 million over four years.

 

The two men are the latest high-level American officials to be enmeshed in a long-running federal investigation into a ferocious โ€” and lucrative โ€” battle for influence in Washington waged between the wealthy Persian Gulf nation of Qatar and its regional rival the United Arab Emirates, as Donald Trump prepared to take office and engage in new rounds of Middle East diplomacy.

 

The Post went on to report that in July 2021, Thomas Barrack, Jr., a longtime billionaire friend of Trump and his presidential inaugural committee chairman, was charged with obstructing justice and acting on behalf of the UAE without being registered as a foreign lobbyist.

 

Also, U.S. businessman Imaad Zuberi, who is a major donor to both political parties, was sentenced in February 2020 to 12 years behind bars after he pledged guilty to tax evasion, foreign influence-peddling, and violations of campaign finance laws.

 

In court papers, Olson admitted he failed to disclose in annual ethics forms as required that he accepted a first-class airline ticket from New Mexico to London, as well as a stay in a luxury hotel in January 2015 โ€” all of which were worth approximately $20,000 โ€” from a Pakistani-American businessman (anon wonders if there is an AWAN connection?)who was not identified by the federal government but whose description matches Zuberi, the Post reported.

 

โ€œOlson admitted meeting with a Bahrain businessman, who would offer him a one-year $300,000 contract for work after he left the State Department,โ€ the paper added.

 

Olson admitted in plea documents filed in court in June 2017 that he contacted an unnamed third person who is defense identified as Allen in order to help โ€œprovide aid and advice to Qatari government officials with the intent to influenceโ€ American foreign policy following a blockade of Qatar by the UAE and ally Saudi Arabia.

 

Zuberi, Olson and โ€œPerson 3โ€ traveled to Doha, โ€œwhere the latter pair met with various Qatari officials including its emir, then returned to meet in Washington with members of Congress,โ€ the Post added.

 

During a hearing on May 27 and in previous court filings, J. Michael Hannon, Olsonโ€™s attorney, pressed federal prosecutors about why Allen has yet to be charged.

 

โ€œExculpatory evidence about Allen could mitigate Olsonโ€™s sentence or invalidate his plea agreement, Hannon argued, saying a decision not to charge the general could mean prosecutors improperly โ€˜inducedโ€™ a guilty plea from the diplomat who relied on government representations that he might be recommended leniency at sentencing for his cooperation,โ€ noted the paper.

 

Hannon told U.S. Magistrate Judge G. Michael Harvey, who presided over the case and accepted Olsonโ€™s plea: โ€œIf in fact there is no case against General John R. Allen [for allegedly violating the Foreign Agents Registration Act], we think that that is a significant piece of information for sentencing, just as we believe that an inducement to enter into this plea agreement is important to the court.โ€

 

Evan Turgeon, a prosecutor with the Justice Departmentโ€™s national security division, told the court that Allenโ€™s case remains open and that the government never offered Olson leniency in exchange for his cooperation.

 

He added, โ€œNothing related to General Allen has any bearing on the false statement the defendant made on an Office of Government Ethics form in May of 2016, and that was a full year before General Allenโ€™s involvement in activities related to Qatar.โ€

But one piece of local history recently uncovered provides an interesting companion to those iconic 1947 headlines the public has become familiar with โ€” while adding yet more pages to a still-growing historical record.

 

The Roswell Morning Dispatch, a long-defunct sister newspaper of the Roswell Daily Record, was published in the mornings from 1928-1950. The Dispatch covered the news of the day, and as such, it carried accounts in July 1947 of the unfolding events related to the alleged recovery of a crashed โ€œFlying Diskโ€ outside Roswell, along with the militaryโ€™s explanations for what had occurred.

Nick Pope, who investigated UFOs for the UK Ministry of Defense, said discovery of the old headlines holds significance for researchers and others interested in the phenomenon.

 

โ€œItโ€™s a fascinating piece of history that time had forgotten,โ€ Pope said. โ€œIt just shows that 75 years after the Roswell incident, there are still discoveries to be made in the archives.โ€

On Thursday, the Supreme Court issued a ruling in Vega V Tekoh, a case involving the administration of Miranda rights, with the court ruling that a suspectโ€™s words or statements can be used in court regardless of their Miranda rights.

Terence Tekoh worked as a patient transporter in a hospital in Los Angeles. After a patient accused him of sexual assault, hospital staff reported the allegation to the Los Angeles Sheriffโ€™s Department. Deputy Carlos Vega went to the hospital to ask Tekoh questions and take Tekohโ€™s statement. Although the parties described vastly different accounts of the nature of the interaction between Tekoh and Vega, it is undisputed that Vega did not advise Tekoh of his Miranda rights before questioning him or taking his statement.

 

Tekoh was arrested and charged in California state court, but a jury returned a verdict of not guilty. Following the acquittal on the criminal charge, Tekoh sued Vega, alleging that Vega violated Tekohโ€™s Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination by taking his statement without first advising him of his Miranda rights.

Kavanaugh assassin is Democrat Nicholas John Roske

 

A California man was charged with attempted murder of a Supreme Court justice after he was arrested early Wednesday morning near the Maryland home of Justice Brett Kavanaugh. According to an affidavit filed by an FBI agent to support a criminal complaint filed in federal court in Maryland on Wednesday afternoon, 26-year-old Nicholas John Roske told detectives in Montgomery County, Maryland, that he had purchased a gun and burglary tools with the plan to break into Kavanaughโ€™s house to kill Kavanaugh and then himself.

 

Roske was scheduled to appear before a federal magistrate judge in Maryland, on Wednesday afternoon.

 

Roske arrived at Kavanaughโ€™s house in the Washington, D.C., suburbs shortly after 1 a.m. Wednesday morning in a taxi, FBI Special Agent Ian Montijo wrote in his affidavit.

 

After walking down the street, Roske called 9-1-1 and told the operator that he was having suicidal thoughts and had come from California to kill Kavanaugh.

 

Officers from the Montgomery County Police Department arrived and arrested Roske.

 

In his bags, they found โ€“ among other things

โ€“ a Glock 17 pistol with two magazines and ammunition,

a knife,

pepper spray,

zip ties,

duct tape,

a crowbar, and

First-time readers will see, and regular readers will know, that I do not show much of the usual market deference for central banks or central bankers. But why should we?

 

Epistemologically, how can any bureaucrat have any true idea of what is happening in any one economy and national financial market, with all its moving parts, let alone when it is cojoined to the global?

 

Methodologically, how can they have any idea what effects their actions will or wonโ€™t engender when based on a theoretical neoliberal economic framework that would be laughed out of the room if presented as any form of hard โ€˜scienceโ€™?

 

Heuristically, after their initial creation to finance wars (such as the Bank of England vs. Napoleon), central banksโ€™ modern-day track record is one of almost continual policy failure โ€“ itโ€™s just that we refuse to take the big picture view to frame it properly, instead focusing on the here-and-now pockets of coincidental historic โ€˜successโ€™. A quick time-line recap of โ€˜amateur decadesโ€™ follows.

 

Pre-WW1 central banks are seen as having worked well under a gold standard. Actually it was British imperialism that tied things together. The global system โ€˜workedโ€™, in a far simpler economy, by ripping off swathes of countries at gunpoint: and even then inflation swung massively positive and negative all the time. The gold peg was what mattered, not inflation. Then America got too big, and Germany got too big for its boots and tried to copy British imperialism. That was the end of the pre-WW1 period.

 

Post-WW1 central banks never all got back on a milquetoast gold standard due to huge war debts, or destroyed societies where they tried if they didnโ€™t let credit boom anyway. All they rustled up was fascism, the Wall Street Crash, the Great Depression, and then Nazism and WW2.

 

Post-WW2 central banks under Bretton Woods and Cold War saw international capital flows regulated and credit rationed or allocated in a hypothecated manner domestically. As such, even their Keynesian models couldnโ€™t screw things up too badly, and we got 25 years of low inflation and solid GDP growth. Yet the Triffin Paradox kicked in, and the US was forced off gold, and Bretton Woods collapsed. Then we saw deregulation of capital flows domestically and externally.

 

Central banks decided that following monetary aggregates was then the key to keeping inflation in check, because โ€œinflation is always and everywhere a monetary phenomenon.โ€ Except this policy didnโ€™t work in the slightest, because once you deregulate markets, especially allowing US dollars to flow to the Eurodollar market, all your M0, M1, M2, M3 data are useless. Central banks had to abandon the policy framework.

 

Only with the emergence of true globalisation did inflation plunge and stay low - due to the breaking of unions, privatisation, and offshoring, especially to cheap-as-chips China. Again, this was nothing to do with central banks โ€“ who nonetheless took all the credit.

 

Such deregulation of course caused rolling financial instability, but the central bank response was always to cut rates into any crisis to blow more air back into the global bubble. Likewise, as society became more unequal and real wages lagged behind productivity growth, the response was to push up asset prices, not wages. Greenspan was the โ€œmaestroโ€. Then we got the GFC in 2008-09, which central banksโ€™ didnโ€™t see it coming at all despite being โ€˜expertsโ€™ in it.

 

Then it was the post-2009 โ€˜new normalโ€™ decade, where central banks tried to get inflation back up to 2% by making rich people even richer with acronyms, and the ECB did โ€œwhatever it takesโ€, leading to yesterdayโ€™s door opening to structural, inefficient, mutualised monetisation of debt.

Global Super Tanker 747 Shut Down as Wildfire Season Begins

DENVER (AP) โ€” The worldโ€™s largest firefighting plane has been shut down just as Western states prepare for a wildfire season that fire officials fear could be worse than the average year.

 

Tara Lee, a spokeswoman for Washington Gov. Jay Inslee, said via email Friday that the stateโ€™s Department of Natural Resources was alerted to the shutdown of the worldsโ€™ largest firefighting plane called the Global SuperTanker. Representatives from that department didnโ€™t immediately respond to questions about how that move could affect the stateโ€™s firefighting efforts.

 

The decision to cease the SuperTankerโ€™s operations was first reported by Fire Aviation, an industry website that reported an email was sent this week to officials in Colorado, Oregon, Washington and the U.S. government saying that the investor group that owns the plane was shutting it down.

 

 

A spokesman for company that operates the plane, Global SuperTanker Services LLC, declined to comment Friday.

 

The Global SuperTanker is a converted Boeing 747 plane that can dump up to 19,200 gallons (72,678 liters) of water or flame retardant in just six seconds and fly as low as 200 feet (61 meters) above the ground to do its work. It can be refilled in just 13 minutes.

 

The SuperTanker has helped in many Western wildfires and was deployed in Israel in 2016 and in Chile in 2017. Costs can run as much as $250,000 a day.

Russian forces gaining ground

 

Russian forces now control more than half of the eastern Ukrainian region of Donetsk, Pavlo Kyrylenko, the head of the Donetsk region military administration, said Thursday. Ukrainian forces retreated from the key eastern city of Severodonetsk on Friday after weeks of bloody battle.

 

Russian forces last week also captured ground around Lysychansk, the last city in the eastern Luhansk region still controlled by Ukraine. Ukrainian military commanders are now grappling with the reality that they may have to withdraw from the area to defend territory further west.

 

In the meantime, Russian oil revenues have only been going up as oil prices have skyrocketed, even amid the harsh sanctions imposed by the West. US officials said on Monday that the US and its allies are going to try capping the price of oil so Russia does not profit from it anymore, but how and when that cap will take effect remains to be seen.

 

Internally, there is a sense among some in the Biden administration that Zelensky will need to start moderating expectations for what Ukrainian forces can realistically achieve. The hunt for Soviet-era weaponry

 

As CNN has previously reported, Russia is looking in particular to exploit the gap between how much Soviet-style ammunition Ukraine and its allies have in their stockpiles, and how long it will take the west to provide Ukraine with modern, NATO-standard weapons and munitions that require time-consuming training.

 

A senior defense official acknowledged to CNN that the Soviet-era stocks are "dwindling," but haven't yet reached "rock bottom." The official said that some eastern European countries still have more they could provide โ€“ but only if they continue to be backfilled by allies with more modern equipment.

The local currency will be managed, issued by local winning political party, so it could be unlimited quantity.

 

The international currency will be limited in quantity and the money will be issued based on fair equal opportunity to all the people in the system. Only people come from nations with population of 1 million people should be allowed to join in.

 

The digital currency will be issued by certain reputation group/people from around the world.

 

In this system the local currency will be the core, while the international currency and digital currency are the harmless one.

Because the international currency can be reset at anytime if >50% population think it operating unfair. While the digital currency can be tracked and even โ€œmanageโ€ via the exchange center.

 

More importantly, no matter how much international currency & digital currency you have, you still must โ€œexchangeโ€ it to daily life local currency for using, if you do not exchange to local currency then even if you have zillion money then it is harmless for the society !

And the local currency will be controlled by local winning political party so the power will be back with the people.

 

I can see 1000+ local currencies in the near future.

All the current money fiat paper issued by the central banks are just because certain gods/entities โ€œforceโ€ the people to do so.

 

Some nation will have/use 3 difference currencies like above, some only need 2, some only have 1 like the current present. It is all up to each people ideology, thinking.

 

The roll out could be ugly, chaos or in silent mode.

In ugly chaos mode: then some big group/entity will reveal it globaly all 3 currencies.

In silent peace mode: then it will be digital currency =international currency => local currency.

 

The roll out of each phase could takes from few years to few decades depend on the public awareness and level of adapting.

The Barry County Sheriff is also suing MI Secretary of State Jocelyn Bensonโ€™s henchman, Jonathan Brater.

 

Jonathan Brater is Michiganโ€™s Director of Elections, a member of the executive branch of state government, and an employee of the state. As director of elections, Mr. Brater is โ€œvested with the powers and shall perform the duties of the secretary of state under his or her supervision, with respect to the supervision and administration of the election laws.โ€

 

Defendant Brater has no law enforcement or executive authority to encroach upon law enforcement functions of a constitutional sheriff.

Elasmotherium is an extinct genus of large rhinoceros endemic to Eurasia during Late Miocene through the Pleistocene, existing at least as late as 39,000 years ago in the Late Pleistocene.[2] A more recent date of 26,000 BP is considered less reliable.[2] It was the last surviving member of Elasmotheriinae, a distinctive group of rhinoceroses separate from the group that contains living rhinoceros (Rhinocerotinae). The two groups are estimated to have split at least 35 million years ago according to fossils and molecular evidence.

 

Five species are recognised. The genus first appeared in the Late Miocene in China, likely having evolved from Sinotherium, before spreading to the Ponticโ€“Caspian steppe, the Caucasus and Central Asia.[3] The best known, E. sibiricum, sometimes called the Siberian unicorn,[4] was the size of a mammoth and is thought to have borne a large, thick horn on its forehead (though see below). Like all rhinoceroses, elasmotheres were herbivorous. Unlike any other rhinos and any other ungulates aside from some notoungulates, its high-crowned molars were ever-growing, and it was likely adapted for a grazing diet. Its legs were longer than those of other rhinos and were adapted for galloping, giving it a horse-like gait.

Russia Declares Donbass Republic 'Fully Liberated'; U.S. Media Begins Walking Back 'Rosy' Coverage of Ukraine

 

The last remnants of Ukrainian forces have been driven out of the Lugansk Peopleโ€™s Republic (LPR), Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu announced on Sunday. He reported the news to President Vladimir Putin, the Defense Ministry said in a statement.

 

Shoigu said Russian troops and Donbass forces had completely seized Lisichansk, the last major city which had remained under Ukrainian control since 2014, when the LPR declared its independence shortly after a coup in Kiev.

 

Russia and Ukraine reported heavy fighting around Lisichansk earlier this week, with the most fierce combat occurring at the cityโ€™s oil refinery.

 

News of the capture of Lisichansk comes after Ukrainian troops retreated from Severodonetsk, a nearby city on the opposite side of the Seversky Donets River, last week. The fighting for Severodonetsk had lasted for several months.

 

Russia sent troops into Ukraine on February 24, citing Kievโ€™s failure to implement the Minsk agreements, designed to give the regions of Donetsk and Lugansk special status within the Ukrainian state. "So far, Israeli airlines have only been authorized to fly over Saudi Arabia if they were going to Dubai or Abu Dhabi, but the upcoming agreement aims to severe all restrictions on flight destinations," he added.

 

This means that any airline, whether Israeli, international, or Emirati, can fly through Saudi airspace to any destination in the world, he explained.

 

The Jerusalem Post had reported earlier that Riyadh would permit Israeli airlines to fly through its airspace.

 

In the meantime, the only Israeli flights allowed to fly over Saudi Arabia are those heading to the UAE and Bahrain, in addition to the Air India flight departing from and returning to the Palestinian territories occupied in 1948.

 

It looks like Saudi Arabia is flocking alongside its neighbors, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, toward the Israeli occupation, seeking further investments and an upgrade in business and economic ties with "Israel" and Israeli businessmen and firms.

Discernment: One Aspect of Ignatian spirituality

 

Discernment is rooted in the understanding that God is ever at work in one's life, "inviting, directing, guiding, and drawing" one "into the fullness of life." Its central action is reflection on the ordinary events of one's life. It presupposes an ability to reflect, a habit of personal prayer, self-knowledge, knowledge of one's deepest desires, and openness to God's direction and guidance. Discernment is a prayerful "pondering" or "mulling over" the choices a person wishes to consider. In discernment, the person's focus should be on a quiet attentiveness to God and sensing rather than thinking. The goal is to understand the choices in one's heart, to see them, as it were, as God might see them. In one sense, there is no limit to how long one might wish to continue in this. Discernment is a repetitive process, yet as the person continues some choices should, of their own accord, fall by the wayside while others should gain clarity and focus. It is a process that should move inexorably toward a decision.

 

Detachment:

Where Francis of Assisi's concept of poverty emphasized the spiritual benefits of simplicity and dependency, Ignatius emphasized detachment, or "indifference." This figures prominently into what Ignatius called the "First Principle and Foundation" of the Exercises. For Ignatius, whether one was rich or poor, healthy or sick, in an assignment one enjoyed or one didn't, was comfortable in a culture or not, etc., should be a matter of spiritual indifferenceโ€”a modern phrasing might put it as serene acceptance. Hence, a Jesuit (or one following Ignatian spirituality) placed in a comfortable, wealthy neighborhood should continue to live the Gospel life without anxiety or possessiveness, and if plucked from that situation to be placed in a poor area and subjected to hardships should with a sense of spiritual joy accept that as well, looking only to do God's will.

I love you all, my frens! So, something I thought compelling from the Roe case opinionโ€ฆ The Roe court explicitly detailed some of the factors that may logically influence an individual's "thinking" on the issue of abortion, right at the beginning of the Roe opinion. I pasted at the bottom, but the "population growth" example gets at me every timeโ€ฆ

 

In plain sight? I wonder what the "population growth" concern is really all about anyway? [They] just want us all gone? There's got to be more to it, as sick as we know them to beโ€ฆ Either way, that the 1973 court even mentions population growth is telling. To me, it clearly hints at an even more sinister impetus for issuing the Roe opinion in the first place, far above the alleged need to protect a woman's right to privacy and due processโ€ฆ The excerpt from Roe:

 

"One's philosophy, one's experiences, one's exposure to the raw edges of human existence, one's religious training, one's attitudes toward life and family and their values, and the moral standards one establishes and seeks to observe, are all likely to influence and to color one's thinking and conclusions about abortion.

 

In addition, population growth, pollution, poverty, and racial overtones tend to complicate and not to simplify the problem."

 

Roe v. Wade, 410 U.S. 113 (1973).
