Secretary of State Jena Griswold is the new chair of the Democratic Association of Secretaries of State, succeeding the organization’s previous leader, California’s Alex Padilla, who became a U.S. senator last month.

 

β€œEvery eligible American deserves to have their voice heard in free, fair and accessible elections. We must not tolerate political gamesmanship with our elections or attempts to suppress the votes of Americans of color. To that end, I look forward to working to re-elect and increase the numbers of Democratic Secretaries of State in 2022,” said Griswold, who is herself up for reelection in two years.

 

The DASS is a political committee whose mission is electing Democratic candidates to be the top election administrators in the states. Currently, 28 secretaries of state are Republicans, 26 are Democrats and one has no party affiliation across all states and territories. The majority of officers are elected, while 10 are appointed and in three states, the legislature selects the secretary.

 

Griswold elevated her national profile during the 2020 election by challenging former President Donald Trump’s characterizations of voting by mail as susceptible to fraud and holding herself out as a mail voting resource to other states attempting to adapt during the pandemic.

California Parents Outraged Over Elementary School’s New After School Satan Club

 

After school β€œSatan Clubs” are popping up all over the United States and parents are fighting back.

 

This time, parents in Bakersfield, California are expressing outrage after the Satanic Temple set up shop in Tehachapi’s Golden Hills Elementary School.

 

β€œThe β€œAfter School Satan Club” will begin monthly meetings in December.

 

Paul Hicks, the leader of the Satan Club, said schools need clubs like his to counter the Christian-based clubs.

Still, many guardians of students at Golden Hills Elementary School in Tehachapi are upset about the introduction of the ASSC, and said it doesn’t belong in schools.

 

β€œI think it’s disgusting, I understand the school has to allow them because they allow other after school programs such as the good news, which is a Christian based after school program, that one I’m okay with, but I can’t imagine why anyone would want their child to attend this Satanic group,” said Sheila Knight, grandparent to a 5th grader at Golden Hills.

According to Ray, he has located β€œonly a fraction” of the digital assets of the FTX Group that they hope recover during the Chapter 11 bankruptcy. They’ve so far secured about $740 million of cryptocurrency in offline cold wallets, a storage method designed to prevent hacks. This is just a fraction of the $10-$50 billion in liabilities the company disclosed in its bankruptcy filing.

 

How do we know it’s a fraud: as Ray writes on page 24, although the investigation has only begun and must run its course, it is my view based on the information obtained to date, β€œthat many of the employees of the FTX Group, including some of its senior executives, were not aware of the shortfalls or potential commingling of digital assets.” Many maybe not, but some – and certainly SBF himself – did.

 

It gets better: Ray said that company’s audited financial statements should not be trusted, Ray said, adding that liquidators are working to rebuild balance sheets for FTX entities from the bottom up.

 

FTX β€œdid not maintain centralized control of its cash” and failed to keep an accurate list of bank accounts and account signatories, or pay sufficient attention to the creditworthiness of banking partners, according to Ray. Advisers don’t yet know how much cash FTX Group had when it filed for bankruptcy, but has found about $560 million attributable to various FTX entities so far.

 

Although restructuring advisers have been in control of FTX for less than a week, they’ve seen enough to depict the crypto company as a deeply flawed enterprise. Lasting records of decision making are hard to come by: Bankman-Fried often communicated through applications that auto-deleted in short order and asked employees to do the same, according to Ray.

 

In the US there are requirements for companies to prepare timely and accurate financial statements. Auditors confirm these results and issue reports describing their work and what is being confirmed. It is important for the financials to be accurate and timely. FTX apparently didn’t do this.

 

In addition to all the issues with the financials, in a filing today, the debtors of FTX have requested that the names and lists of all the creditors of FTX be kept secret.

It seems some digs said that Runbeck was printing ballots for the election.

I made an observation after I voted about ballots. Where I voted you had to give your name, address, and then after that they asked you a question about your phone number as a way to validate before displaying your info and give you a print out of which table to go to to pick up your ballot. After going to the table to pick up my blank ballot which had to be teared out of a perforated book, sort of like a checkbook does but bigger. Then I was told which voting machine to go to to cast my vote.

 

My questions are

  1. Why did I have to go to a special table to get a ballot if they are all the same? Why not just give a generic one after they validated my identity? Aren't they all the same? Why the extra step?

 

  1. Why did I have to cast my ballot at an assigned numbered voting machine? Aren't all the machines the same?

 

After casting my ballot, I spoke with a poll watcher, who said I was good the machine accepted my vote. I pretended to be a little confused and asked him about getting a receipt as I examined the machine so some type of receipt number. He said something to the affect that if the machine accepted it that's you proof and ushered me along. Suddenly my ballot was spit back out after about 15 or so seconds. Whoops, first he he ask which side I put face down, then he said I put it in wrong, and testified to me that I had put it on a slight slant. BS, these machines like ATMs and printers straighten out and scan both sides.

 

You think Q researched this and his last post is a validation of what I said which is "cheating in plain sight".

ICE says San Fran sheriff denied request to speak to illegal immigrant accused of attacking Pelosi

Federal officials this week appeared to rebuke a local California sheriff for allegedly denying a federal agent access to the illegal immigrant who reportedly attacked Paul Pelosi last month.

 

The San Francisco Sheriff’s Department this month told local news media that on Oct. 31 an unidentified individual "pretended to be a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent" in order to gain access to alleged Pelosi attacker David DePape.

 

Yet an ICE official this week told Fox News that the agency had indeed sent an agent to speak to DePape and that the agent in question presented full identification while there.

 

"The officer identified herself and presented her government issued credentials bearing her photo, name, position and organization," the official told the news network. "[San Francisco County Jail] denied the DO’s request to interview DePape."

 

The sheriff’s office following that statement reiterated to Fox its earlier claim that an unidentified individual arrived at the prison on Oct. 31 without proper ICE credentials.

 

Immigration officials often interview illegal immigrants accused of crimes as part of standard procedure, an official told Fox.

'Satanic' man involved in 'cult activity' killed Texas woman as part of 'human sacrifice,' cut off her toes, fingers, and ears: Police

 

Three people have been arrested in connection with the gruesome murder of a Texas woman. Police say the woman was killed as part of a "human sacrifice," and she had her toes, fingers, and ears cut off by a "Satanic" man involved in "cult activity."

 

Last Sunday, police with the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office made a welfare check on a 36-year-old woman in Joaquin, Texas. Around 4 p.m., officers discovered the dead body of Sarah Hopson in the bedroom. Police said she had been brutally murdered and mutilated.

 

Hobson allegedly suffered from large wounds to the right side of her head and forehead. Hopson's toes, fingers, and ears had reportedly been cut off. A deputy discovered a clear freezer bag of the woman's body parts between Hopson's legs, according to the affidavit.

 

Deputies noticed that the bedroom smelled of fresh paint, and the walls appeared to have been recently painted.

 

"Multiple cans of paint were found inside the room as well as 'several' Dollar General bags filled with an assortment of cleaning supplies, the affidavit reportedly said," Law & Crime reported. "A tool that indicates the presence of blood spatter even after it has been wiped away with household cleaning supplies reportedly showed large amounts of blood on the bedroom walls and spotting on the bedroom dresser."

 

The walls reportedly appeared to have "wiping marks," possibly signaling that someone cleaned the walls.

 

Law enforcement also found a razor knife, several wrenches on a chest of drawers, paint brushes, paint cans, and cleaning supplies at the crime scene, according to the affidavit. Investigators also discovered a pair of jeans with the Texas identification card belonging to Ethan Kyle Myers in the pocket, police documents said.

 

Police tracked down Myers and searched his car. Inside they found a shovel, plastic bags, a gallon of gasoline, a hammer, a tire tool, and a large rock in a trash bag smelling like gasoline, the affidavit stated.

 

Investigators noted that the tip of the rock matched Hopson's head wounds, police said.

 

On Thursday, police arrested Myers while he was allegedly hiding in the woods.

 

On the day police found Hopson dead, Allen Price and Teresa Louviere visited the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office to inform authorities that "Ethan Myers had done something to Sarah Hopson," the affidavit said. They claimed that Myers had been "acting strange," and noticed him fleeing Hopson's home with blood on him. Myers allegedly lived with the duo.

 

Price allegedly told police that Myers, 26, was involved in "cult activity."

 

Investigators questioned Myers' mother, who said her son "hears voices and is satanic," according to the affidavit. She reportedly also told police that Myers wanted to "sacrifice her."

 

Myers was charged with Hopson's murder and evading arrest. He is being held at the Shelby County Jail on a $1.25 million bond.

 

Price and Louviere were arrested and charged with tampering and fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair a human corpse. They are being held on a $250,000 bond.

Western New York digs out after record-breaking β€˜thundersnow’ storm

 

Western New Yorkers are digging themselves out of a record-smashing snowstorm that has left some areas under more than six feet of white powder.

 

Over 16.1 inches of snow fell in Buffalo on Saturday, more than doubling the previous daily maximum snowfall record of 7.6 inches set in 2014, according to Fox Weather.

 

Orchard Park also broke the state record for most during a 24-hour period with 66 inches, shattering the previous record of 50 inches in Camden in 1966.

 

On Saturday morning, Gov. Kathy Hochul told WGRZ that approximately 70 National Guard members have been sent to the Southtowns to help remove snow in the hardest hit areas including Orchard Park, where more than six feet of snow was recorded.

 

β€œWe need to do the major roads first,” Hochul said. β€œWe need to be able to ensure that any emergency vehicles and ambulances can get to individuals that have. That is our biggest concern right now.”

 

Shortly before noon on Saturday, Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz said in a tweet that the National Guard had arrived at the county’s Emergency Operations Center and was being used to transport people who require dialysis.

 

At least two people have died shoveling snow in the Buffalo area since the storm began prompting officials to warn western New Yorkers to β€œjust let your driveway fill up with snow.”

 

Poloncarz said the deaths were caused by cardiac events associated with exertion during a Friday press conference in Cheektowaga. Western New York has already been hammered by more than 6 feet of snow in some areas, causing travel bans, road closures and flight cancellations.

 

So far, it has already become the third snowiest November month in the Buffalo area on record with more than 29.3 inches of powder falling as of Saturday morning.

 

The snowiest November ever recorded was in 2000 when 45.6 inches of snow fell in the area.

I checked my voting history. They have me for many elections, but not all as i skip some. I think that also is in play. They see who is consistent and reliable and who is not. They gamble you won't show up or will or both. Either way, my id on screen for me to see pulled me and someone else name not me.

 

The lady who helped me, seemed not happy how loud i was talking and saying this is really fishy.

She seemed a bit scared, older nice lady/volunteer. She told me quietlt that it had been happenung all day and that when she asked why they would never give her good answer,? She seemed as concerned as me but looked exasperated and helpless to do anything about what she witnessed all day and now I am making a big deal. Then when putting ballot in counter, a young man probably first time voting, his machine was not taking his ballit, he asked what to do, was scanning peoples faces for gelp, but the really old guy scanning ballots just nudged him to leave. Kid looked sad. I left in disgust. Tried telling people outside with kari lake teeshirts, but they brished me off as they had group selfies to take. Ironically

a news channel 3 newstruck drove past my face in parking lot. Leaving about 7 pm-ish.
