Group Behind 9/11 Gets Hands on Material to Make Nuclear Bombβ€”Report

 

A shipment of enriched uranium, which can be used to make nuclear weapons, has fallen into the hands of 9/11 terrorist group al-Qaeda, according to a Middle Eastern report.

 

The material was allegedly being delivered from Iran to Houthi rebels in Yemen when some of it was intercepted by the terror group, Israeli newspaper Maariv said, citing unnamed sources.

 

The respected conservative publication, one of the most-read newspapers in the country, said on Monday that the incident happened in the al-Bayda area of Yemen.

 

Details were scarce, and it remains unclear how part of the shipment was reportedly intercepted or diverted.

Al-Qaeda, an Islamist terror group based in the Afghan-Pakistani borderlands, was founded by Osama bin Laden in the 1980s.

The group suddenly became a household name in the U.S. after al-Qaeda operatives hijacked and crashed four planes in American skies in September 2001, targeting sites including the World Trade Center in New York. Some 3,000 people were killed in the atrocity known afterwards as '9/11.'

 

The attack led to the decades-long and controversial "war on terror" and bin Laden was eventually killed in May 2011. The group's numbers began to dwindle and a blood-thirsty splinter group, Islamic State, began to recruit jihadists and gain notoriety instead.

 

But al-Qaeda hit the headlines again in August this year when a U.S. drone strike in Afghanistan killed Ayman al-Zawahiri, who had helped bin Laden plot 9/11 and had subsequently replaced him as leader.

 

The allegations that al-Qaeda has now sourced some enriched uranium come amid escalating tensions between the U.S. and Iran over the country's nuclear program, with talks on the issue breaking down two months ago, in September.

 

At the time, Israel's defense minister Benny Gantz claimed Iran would be able to produce enough enriched uranium to make three nuclear warheads within a few weeks.

 

And he claimed to know of 10 facilities in Syria that were producing weapons to arm Iran, which in turn was arming its proxies such as the Islamist group Hezbollah in Lebanon.

 

This weekend, Israel reportedly warned Lebanon that it would bomb its international airport in Beirut if it allowed arms transfers to Hezbollah via a private airline, the Dubai-based TV network Al-Arabiya reported, citing Saudi sources.

 

A United Nations watchdog warned earlier this year that Iran had violated a 2015 accord by increasing its nuclear weapons stockpile.

 

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) released a statement in March stating Iran had a stock of 33.2 kilograms, or 73.1 pounds, of uranium enriched to up as much as 60 percent fissile purity.

A violent mob incited by his false claims of a stolen election stormed the US Capitol, causing chaos, smashing windows, vandalizing offices, and forcing evacuations and lockdowns. Vice President Mike Pence, who was presiding over the counting of electoral votes, had to be rushed out of the Senate chamber by Secret Service agents. The Senate floor was cleared, and one pro-Trump terrorist claimed the podium and shouted, β€œTrump won that election.” Reports emerged of explosions, tear gas, and gunshots. One person was shot and reported killed. An explosive device was apparently found. Senators and House members were told to shelter in place. Capitol police engaged in an armed standoff with Trump’s brownshirts. It was outright rebellion, an attempt at an actual political coup. An outraged Sen. Mitt Romney exclaimed to a reporter, β€œThis is what the president has caused today, this insurrection.”

 

Trump owned this terrorism. He has whipped up his cultish followers with lies and conspiracy theories. At a rally on Wednesday morning, Trump told his supporters that the 2020 election was a grave crime and that Republicans and Democrats on the Hill were about to destroy American democracy by accepting the results. (During that event, Rudy Giuliani, Trump’s lawyer and chief coup-stirrer, called for β€œtrial by combat.”) Trump directed his frenzied supporters toward the Capitol, where they breached police lines and took over the building. They shut down Congress. They terrorized lawmakers and staff, they fought with security forces, they broke American democracy.

Scientists have long worried that an influenza virus that has ravaged poultry and wild birds in Asia might evolve to pose a threat to humans. Now scientists financed by the National Institutes of Health have shown in a laboratory how that could happen. In the process they created a virus that could kill tens or hundreds of millions of people if it escaped confinement or was stolen by terrorists.

Ward: I just heard through the grapevine that @MaricopaVote is doing the hand recount RIGHT NOW with Democrats & Libertarians while Republicans are there and are being ignored as they beg to be placed on these boards. Another reason for partisan observers! Will Maricopa ever shape up?

 

Arizona election expert Gina Swoboda told The Gateway Pundit, β€œhand count boards have started doing a hand count on the election day ballots, which obviously are of great concern because we have all these misread ballots on election day because of the failures of the ballot on-demand printers.”

 

One of these hand count boards had three people, but no Republicans were on the board. Instead, Maricopa County selected two Democrats and one Libertarian.

 

When an observer asked Elections Director Reynaldo Valenzuela to place a Republican on the board, Valenzuela refused, telling the observer that it was not required.

 

This is correct according to ARS 16-602, which states, β€œFor the hand count to proceed, not more than seventy-five percent of the persons performing the hand count shall be from the same political party.”

 

Although it was legal to have a table without Republican oversight, there were enough Republicans to ensure full participation in the process.

 

According to Swodoba, some tables had two Republican observers and one Democrat.

Russia says international law supports Serbia’s position in breakaway province

 

Moscow is β€œalarmed” by the mounting tensions in Kosovo, which are the fault of β€œradical” ethnic Albanian authorities in the breakaway Serbian province and their Western sponsors, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Monday.

 

Authorities in Pristina have undertaken a β€œseries of provocations” with the connivance of the US and the EU, using β€œethnically motivated violence” to target the remaining Serbs in the province, Zakharova told reporters.

 

Prime minister Albin Kurti is seeking to distract from a failed domestic policy by β€œplaying with fire, spinning up Serbophobic hysteria” and escalating tensions β€œclosely approaching an armed conflict,” said Zakharova. Only the forbearance of local Serbs and the government in Belgrade is preventing things from sliding into open violence, she added.

 

β€œWe stand in solidarity with the leadership of Serbia,” Zakharova said, endorsing Belgrade’s position that the Kosovo Albanians and the West β€œcynically ignore the fundamental UN Security Council Resolution 1244, the Brussels and Washington agreements.”

 

The UN resolution provided for a NATO presence in the province after the bombing of Serbia in 1999, while the 2013 Brussels agreement envisioned autonomy for the remaining ethnic Serbs.

 

UNSCR 1244 clearly provides for Serbia to send its security forces into the province, and β€œnot even apologists for the β€˜rules-based order’ can deny this,” Zakharova added. She specifically called out German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock’s recent statement that such a deployment would be β€œtotally unacceptable,” which Serbia has slammed as β€œabsurd.”

 

We will continue to help Belgrade defend legitimate national interests with regard to Kosovo based on UNSCR 1244, which remains in force without any exceptions.

 

Instead of pressuring the ethnic Albanians to abide by the signed agreements, the US and the EU have β€œblatantly sabotaged” the Brussels document, while preferring the β€œvicious practice” of bullying and blaming the Kosovo Serbs, Zakharova noted.

 

Last month, Brussels and Washington did manage to persuade Pristina to abandon its plan for outlawing Serbian license plates. The relative peace lasted less than two weeks, however, as ethnic Albanian police deployed in force in Serb-majority areas, harassing a kindergarten and a family winery.

A former New Zealand Defence Force staffer was reminded about security obligations in October after the South African flight school he was working for came under scrutiny by British authorities, defence officials say.

In October, the British government announced a crackdown on former military pilots working for intermediaries, including Test Flying Academy of South Africa, amid concerns it was acting as an intermediary for China's People's Liberation Army to recruit pilots.

 

At the time, the New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) said it knew four former serving personnel were working with the academy.

 

"One of the four of the individuals was spoken to, and this happened in October as they were the only one who maintained a security clearance with NZDF at the time," a spokesperson said.

 

The flight academy has previously responded to the crackdown with a statement on its website, saying all of its activities were legal.

 

Former US marine pilot Daniel Edmund Duggan, who was a contractor at the academy, was arrested in New South Wales in October at the request of the US government.

 

His case will be in court this week. He denies breaching the law.

 

The New Zealand Defence Force spokesperson said it had also advised staff on October 23 about the academy, reminding them of their security obligations and of their security clearance under the government's protective security requirements.

 

The office of New Zealand's Minister of Defence, Peeni Henare, has sought advice on the situation and whether more action is needed.

 

A Minister of Defence spokesperson said Mr Henare was assured all practical steps had been taken to ensure there was no risk to sensitive information being released.

Former Twitter Official Yoel Roth Tweeted That β€˜The Gays’ Control β€˜New Media’

 

The former Twitter Trust & Safety head made the statement in May 2014 after an Internet denizen asked him who controlled the media.

 

A 2014 tweet by the former head of Twitter’s Trust and Safety department, Yoel Roth, asserted that β€œthe gays” have control over the β€œnew media,” while β€œthe Jews” still control the legacy media.

 

β€œThe Jews got old media; the gays, new,” Roth wrote in a tweet published on May 23rd, 2014.

 

Roth made the statement in response to a question by a Twitter user which asked who had control of the media. The internet denizen’s response was to a statement by Roth which asserted that locative media’s earliest users were homosexuals.

 

β€œThe history of locative media needs to acknowledge its early adopters: namely, gay men. The homo-sexualization of mobile communication,” Roth said.

 

β€œOh. So it wasn’t the Jews who controlled the media but the gays? (Can I tweet that?” Sharrona Pearl asked Roth. β€œTo be safe: kidding, people. Kidding.”

The two countries have a long, painful, violent history that divides them, seemingly, beyond repair. Kosovo achieved liberation from Serbian persecution in 1999 with the help of the United States and became fully independent in 2008 after President George W. Bush visited Albania the previous year.

 

America’s role in righting the wrongs that have been done to the Albanians throughout the centuries has been fundamental and unique. It was no different this first weekend of September.

Twitter staff quickly pivoted to censoring 'medical misinformation' after banning Trump

No sooner had Twitter employees succeeded in mobbing sitting President Donald Trump off the social media platform in 2021 despite there having been no violations of Twitter's terms of service made by Trump than the tweeps, as they are known, took it upon themselves to censor medical information.

 

In Monday's installment of the Twitter Files, as told by Bari Weiss, it was revealed that as of January 9, 2021, one day after Trump's speech on Twitter was silenced, "employees expressed eagerness to tackle 'medical misinformation' as soon as possible," Weiss reported.

 

Internal communications show that Twitter employees were eager to take control of content and bend it to their own biases. "Yes," one employee wrote, "we absolutely plan to do this in 2021 - with the timeline being 'as soon as possible."

 

While COVID was the thrust, as the world was still engaged in an ongoing pandemic, the employee wrote that "COVID is one specific disease; medical misinformation is a much broader category of harmful content."

 

"We've laid a lot of the groundwork for policy and product behavior through our work on COVID and the election," the employee wrote, seemingly proud of their efforts to silence and suppress the voices of doctors, election officials, and civilians they did not agree with on these hot-button issues.

 

The employee went on to note the departments at Twitter that were hard at work censoring users on the platform, saying "the Misinfo Policy team… along with the folks in Health Experience, TwS, Research, and other teams across the company are now focussed on getting to a place of improved maturity in how our policies are actualized (across reporting, operations, global scale, scope, etc."

 

"We'll have more to share on this soon!" The employee wrote.

 

In response to this, another employee was also gleeful about the news that they could soon begin operating to suppress and censor content based on their own biases and assumptions rather than based on written policy.

 

"Very excited to see us handling more categories of misinformation," the employee wrote. "For the longest time, Twitter's stance was that we aren't the arbiter of truth which I respected but never gave me a warm fuzzy feeling.

 

"That said," the employee continued, "my dad is an MD (to give context) and medical information is a really hard topic. Even for COVID-19 we only covered a narrow category of information. As an example, is 'Take vitamin C, vitamin D, elderberry, and xylitol with GSE daily to reduce covid-19 risk' good information, creative marketing, or misinformation? Personally, I'm not sure and I suspect there are views on both sides."

 

It was in the spirit of banning "Covid misinformation" that people who criticized lockdowns and school closures, like Dr. Jay Bhattacharya was banned. In a previous Twitter Files drop, Weiss reported that Twitter prevented noted doctor Jay Bhattacharya's tweets from trending during the pandemic-inspired lockdowns.

 

Bhattacharya was an early critic of lockdowns and spoke out against their negative impact on children, who were not as susceptible to the Covid virus.

The term trended on Twitter on Saturday morning after author Malcolm Nance appeared on the MSNBC program β€œVelshi,” where he discussed the recently unfoiled plot that saw the arrest of 13 men, as well as the fact that groups of white men who have either plotted or committed similar acts, usually armed, are not referred to as domestic terrorists but given descriptions like β€œthe Far Right” or β€œarmed militias,” but not as domestic or American terrorists.

 

Velshi also weighed in on the fact that in other countries, those who committed similar acts against their nation were referred to by their organization’s namesβ€”such as ISIS and Al-Qaeda, which helped bring the β€œVanilla ISIS” trend to life, after Nance took to Twitter to state that the term should gain traction.
