US military probes cancer cases at nuclear missile base

 

A number of officers who had worked at the site ended up being diagnosed with lymphoma, one of whom has died

 

The US military is probing nine blood cancer cases among officers who worked decades ago atMalmstrom Air Force Base, a major nuclear missile site in the state of Montana. The investigation was first reported by AP on Monday and confirmed by Pentagon officials.

 

All of the afflicted officers had been serving at the silos of the base, home to some 150 Minuteman III nuclear-tipped intercontinental ballistic missiles, as many as 25 years ago. The diagnosis in each case wasnon-Hodgkin lymphoma, while one of the officers has succumbed to the illness.

 

“There are indications of a possible association between [this] cancer and missile combat crew service at Malmstrom AFB,”Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Sebeck said in the slides presented at a military briefing earlier in January and cited by the news agency.

 

“Missileers have always been concerned about known hazards, such as exposure to chemicals, asbestos, polychlorinated biphenyls, lead and other hazardous material in the work environment,” he stated.

 

The “disproportionate number of missileers presenting with cancer, specifically lymphoma”was particularly concerning, Sebeck added. The issue is important to the Space Force because as many as 455 former missileers are now serving with the Space Force, including four individuals diagnosed with lymphoma.

 

Reached by AP for comment, Sebeck declined to elaborate further on the probe, noting only that the slides were “predecisional.”Meanwhile, Air Force spokeswoman Ann Stefanek confirmed that “senior leaders are aware of the concerns raised about the possible association of cancer related to missile combat crew members at Malmstrom AFB."

 

“The information in this briefing has been shared with the Department of the Air Force surgeon general and our medical professionals are working to gather data and understand more,” she added.

 

Given that only some 400 officers are believed to work with siloed missiles at the base at any one time, the rates of non-Hodgkin lymphoma in them appear to be way above what is registered in the general population. According to the American Cancer Society, the illness afflicts only some 19 people out of every 100,000 across the US annually.

Wagner founder outlines his view on US hostility

The Russian firm is a "vice squad" pitted against American gangsters, Yevgeny Prigozhin told RT

 

The Wagner Group scares the US because it is willing to stand up to American bullying around the world, the private military company’s founder Yevgeny Prigozhin claimed on Monday, answering a question from RT.

 

Washington said last week that it would designate the Russian PMC as an international criminal organization, accusing it of “widespread atrocities and human rights abuses.”

 

“Unlike America’s paramilitary forces,”Prigozhin said in a written response to RT, “the Wagner PMC eliminates only enemies of peace and commits no crimes. Of course, if you employ double standards, you can dig up dirt on anyone."

 

The US is the only country to use nuclear weapons in history, and “organized wars and revolutions” in “Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, Mozambique, Central Africa and so on,” Prigozhin noted, adding that in some of those countries Wagner came in and “put an end to these wars with an iron fist”

 

Calling the US “powerful crime syndicate, which lives on the money of the whole world,”Prigozhin said Wagner was “more like the vice police” by comparison.

 

Washington trained “outlaws and terrorists all over the world so that there would be trouble everywhere –” while the “dreamy blue island called the USA” lives in peace, he added. Used to people not fighting back or getting intimidated by name-calling, the Americans don’t know what to do with Wagner, which “looks into the eyes of the personification of global evil without fear.”

 

Prigozhin said the US objective is to break up Russia just as it did to the USSR, then take on China, in order to maintain its global hegemony.

 

The Wagner Group was originally established in 2014. Over the past year, its fighters have taken part in battles against the Ukrainian military in the Donbass. Earlier this month, the Russian Defense Ministry acknowledgedWagner’s role in capturing the key town of Soledar.

 

US authorities have accused the PMC of unspecified “human rights violations” in Syria and the Central African Republic, where Wagner helped the government against jihadist insurgents. Last month, the State Department declared Wagner an “entity of particular concern” for religious freedom in Africa, in the same category as Al-Qaeda and Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS).

Israel and US aim to send message with record military drill

Iran will take notice of the joint exercise, which is the largest ever held by the two countries, the Pentagon has claimed

 

The US and Israeli militaries began their largest-ever joint exercise on Monday, seeking to hone seamless coordination of their forces and prove a point to Iran about their readiness to fight a conflict in the Middle East even as Washington juggles rising tensions with Russia and China.

 

“I do think that this scale of the exercise is relevant to a whole range of scenarios, and Iran may draw certain inferences from that,” a senior US defense official told reporters. “It would not surprise me if Iran, you know, sees the scale and the nature of these activities and understands what the two of us are capable of doing.”

 

Dubbed Juniper Oak, the exercise will involve over 140 aircraft, including nuclear-capable bombers and F-35 fighter jets, as well as 12 warships and about 7,500 troops, according to US Central Command (CENTCOM). It’s designed to improve the “interoperability” of both forces.

 

“What we think this exercise demonstrates is, we can walk and chew gum at the same time,”the unidentified defense official told NBC News. Despite the Pentagon’s growing focus on China and its efforts to help Ukraine defeat Russian forces, he added, “We still have the excess capacity to be able to flex to another high-priority area of responsibility and conduct an exercise on this scale.”

 

Juniper Oak is an all-domain exercise, meaning it will include naval, land, air, space and electronic-warfare drills. It will run from Monday through Friday in Israel and the eastern Mediterranean Sea. The US will reportedly employ four HIMARS rocket launchers, laser-guided bombs and stealth cruise missiles. The event will culminate with the firing of 180,000 pounds of live munitions while simulating an electronic attack and suppressing enemy air defenses.

 

“This is a sign that we continue to have Israel’s back at a time when there’s lots of turbulence and instability across the region,” the defense official said. The source added, “If there’s a sense that Americans are distracted, or the Americans are going away from the Middle East, and therefore they have free rein for their malign activities, I think this will disabuse them.

 

“I suspect Iran will take note of that, but not only Iran. China will take note of that, Russia will take note of that, other folks will take note of that.”

Joe Biden stored top-secret files with the “sensitive compartmented information” (SCIF) designation at Penn Biden Center in DC (found on Nov. 2).

 

Lawyers discovered more classified documents at Joe Biden’s Delaware home – in the garage next to his Corvette (found on Dec. 20).

 

Additional documents stored in Biden’s library were discovered on January 12 and again on January 20.

 

Hunter Biden had access to the garage where Biden stored some of the classified documents.

 

The documents discovered at Biden’s private office and home are related to Ukraine, Iran, China and the United Kingdom.

 

According to emails uncovered from the “Laptop from Hell,” Hunter Biden sent his business partner Devon Archer a very detailed email on Ukraine on April 13, 2014 – just one week before Joe Biden visited Ukraine to meet with then-Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk.

 

It appears Hunter Biden was emailing Devon Archer information he received from a briefing from his father Joe Biden or directly from top-secret documents.

 

“A curiously well-informed email about Ukraine, Russia and the UK on Hunter Biden’s laptop is a thread that links the President’s classified documents scandal to the Delaware federal investigation into his son’s foreign business dealings.” – the New York Post’s Miranda Devine wrote.

One striking email during this period stands out. It was from Hunter to Archer on April 13, 2014, a week before Joe Biden visited Ukraine to meet then-Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk and refers to “my guys upcoming travels.”

 

For Hunter, it was an uncharacteristically lengthy email, listing 22 points about Ukraine’s political situation, with detailed information about the upcoming election and predicting an escalation of Russia’s “destabilization campaign, which could lead to a full-scale takeover of the eastern region, most critically Donetsk.

 

“The strategic value is to create a land bridge for RU to Crimea. That won’t directly affect Burisma holdings but it will limit future UK exploration and utilization of offshore opportunities in particular,” Hunter wrote.

 

“It will also result in further destabilization of UK nationally and for whatever govt is in power. And the US will respond with even stronger sanctions. Those sanctions will threaten the tenuous support of the EU which does not have the political will to incur steep energy price increases.”

 

In point 22, Hunter instructed Archer to buy a “burner phone,” presumably to keep their conversations private. “Buy a cell phone from a 7/11 or CVS tmrw and ill do the same.”

 

It’s a prescient and very well-informed email, unlike anything else Hunter wrote in the nine years covered in the laptop, and it has the distinct flavor of an official briefing, perhaps even a classified one.

Fox News adds that while Attorney General Merrick Garland thinks the move will enhance public safety, Gaetz believes it will unfairly disenfranchise “disabled gun owners and veterans,” who rely on stabilizing grips for fire with one hand.

 

“I have a lot of disabled veterans in my district who enjoy pistol shooting and rely on stabilizing braces to be able to engage in the activity. The recent actions from the ATF essentially allow them to make case-by-case determinations on whether a pistol with a stabilizing brace is legal or an unlawful, sawed-off shotgun,” Gaetz told Fox News Digital.

Whistleblower sues Konnech, claims data was 'accessible to foreign nationals from China'

 

The whistleblower "witnessed customer’s data (specifically poll watcher information) being made accessible to foreign nationals from China."

 

Last month, Grant Bradley, a former employee of the Michigan-based election data firm Konnech Inc, filed a whistleblower lawsuit against the company and its founder, disgraced CEO Eugene Yu, supporting the claims made by True the Vote leaders Catherine Engelbrecht and Gregg Phillips that Konnech transferred and stored the data of American poll workers on Chinese servers.

 

The Federalist reports that "According to the verified complaint, Konnech provides 'election logistic software' to 32 clients in North America, using 'developers, designers and coders' who 'are all Chinese nationals based out of Wuhan, China.'

 

Bradley filed the complaint in a Michigan state court last month and said he "witnessed customer’s data (specifically poll watcher information) being made accessible to foreign nationals from China."

 

When he brought the problem up to management, they told him "everyone was doing it," like big software companies Microsoft and Apple.

 

Konnech sued True the Vote in September of 2022 and said they made "baseless and racist" accusations against CEO Eugene Yu. Phillips and Engelbrecht had claimed that Yu was an agent of the Chinese Communist Party, and that the country had been using poll worker data to influence the 2020 election.

 

In his complaint, Bradley said he "began to investigate the extent of the information provided to the Chinese programmers by Defendants Yu and Konnech" after True the Vote started making their claims.

 

Bradley started looking for other work but was still at Konnech when Yu was arrested and charged by the Los Angeles district attorney for allegedly storing government data about American poll workers in China. LA officials reportedly received their initial tip regarding Yu from Phillips via an informant that Engelbrecht and Phillips knew of. The pair later testified that identifying the confidential informant would put his life at risk and were held in contempt for their protection of the informant.

 

Bradley alleged in his suit that he "was told by his supervisors not to speak with the police or cooperate in their investigation of Defendants Yu and Konnech’s activities," after Yu’s arrest.

 

Bradley "ignored the directive of his supervisors" and "asked to meet with the police on the day of the raid so that he could provide them with handwritten notes and other electronic evidence he believes further substantiates Defendants’ illegal activities."

 

Within days he was fired from Konnech by Yu, forming the foundation of his claim under the Michigan Whistleblowers’ Protection Act. He's also suing for wrongful termination.

 

In November of last year, Los Angeles County prosecutor George Gascon dropped the criminal charges against Yu.

 

Phillips and Engelbrecht were also released from jail in November 2022.

 

Speaking to Steve Bannon after their release Engelbrecht said, "We were put in prison because, one week before the midterms, we needed to be silenced."

Bradley's suit also brought into question the circumstances around Gascon's decision to drop the charges on Yu and the FBI's investigation of Konnech.

India to make more iPhones – minister

Apple is set to shift its production away from China following Covid-related disruptions at its main assembly plant

 

Apple is looking to scale up its manufacturing in India as the iPhone maker continues to move its production away from China, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said on Monday.

 

The tech giant wants India to account for up to 25% of its production, up from the current 5% to 7%, according to Goyal, who called Apple “another success story” as he talked up the advantages of doing business with the world’s fifth-largest economy.

 

He didn’t specify when Apple wants to meet the target but noted that “they launched the most recent models from India, manufactured in India.”

 

Last year, Apple began production of its flagship iPhone 14 in India. It was the first time the tech giant had produced its latest model in India so close to its launch. Apple has been manufacturing iPhones in the Asian country since 2017, first with Wistron and later with Foxconn, the main assembler of iPhones, in line with the Indian government's push for local manufacturing.

 

India’s Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw tweeted on Monday that Apple's exports from India hit $1 billion in December.

The California-based tech giant has been looking to diversify production away from China, where it currently assembles the bulk of its iPhones, following major disruptions at the iPhone factory in Zhengzhou, where hundreds of workers joined protests related to strict Covid-19 regulations.

John Zingsheim walked into a Wisconsin hospital in the Aurora Health Care system. He was not life-flighted or on a stretcher, but walked in, and tested positive for Covid. Within 10 minutes, the doctor told him, “Mr. Zingsheim, you’re going to die,” and placed him into the CMS (Medicare/Medicaid) hospital Covid protocol. Without John’s knowledge or permission, they gave him remdesivir for two days before he called his family, “I think I’m in trouble, can you help me?”

 

This protocol for John included unproven Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) drugs baricitinib (causes blood clots and Sepsis, and says not to give it for upper respiratory infections) and remdesivir (which is toxic to the liver and kidneys).

 

John’s Power of Attorney (POA), his nephew Allen Gahl, demanded he be taken off the injurious drugs. Nevertheless, another effort at giving remdesivir to him was attempted, but according to my interview with the Gahls, they caught it on his charts and were able to stop it in time. John and his POA requested life-saving treatments ivermectin and high dose IV Vitamin C, but the hospital refused. The Gahls informed me, “On the Statutory HCPOA [Healthcare Power of Attorney] Form used by hospitals, which comes from Statute 155, it also requires the hospital to give ‘necessary treatments’ requested by the POA, but these were denied John.”

 

Under the the hospital’s protocol treatment, John’s kidneys failed, he was on dialysis, he had had Sepsis multiple times, and he was dying on the ventilator.

 

The hospital sent a hospice team to each family member trying to convince them to “pull the plug” on John, stating there was nothing more they could do at that point since they were claiming he had Multiple Organ System Failure, including his kidneys, and his lungs were scarred. They told them he would never be able to return to a livable quality of life. The family sought help from the legal system, and refused to end John’s life. And the hospital refused to give him ivermectin, even though he was dying.

…Aurora argued that when a medical treatment falls beneath their standard of care for patient safety, then the court has no right to intervene for the patient.

 

The Waukesha Circuit Court was of a different opinion and granted the request of the family to have their Power of Attorney Statute upheld, and approved an outside doctor going into the hospital to administer the ivermectin to him.

 

The family rejoiced and they signed away any liability to the hospital for him receiving ivermectin, and the outside doctor was made ready. While the willing doctor was getting in the car to go to John to administer the ivermectin, the Appeals Court paused the order and took the case. So in effect, the outside doctor was barred admittance to administer the POA-requested Ivermectin.

 

Eventually the Appeals Court ruled that the Waukesha Circuit Court erred in their decision (to honor the POA and give this dying man the ivermectin in an attempt to save his life).

 

Beginning in October of 2021, people across Wisconsin protested for John’s life in front of the Aurora hospital in Oconomowoc. Christians across America prayed. Through a series of miraculous events, John Zingsheim shared, he was secretly given ivermectin, and with all the prayers going up on his behalf, beat the odds and survived the CMS protocol and the hospital’s “treatment” for over 10 months, more than 100 of those days on the ventilator.

 

Since many people have sadly died on the ventilator within 10 days, it is beyond astounding that John survived over 100 days on it. Today John is breathing on his own with a little help from supplemental oxygen, and his kidneys have both healed and come back to full function.

The discovery of more Biden documents highlights the ridiculous plot to destroy Trump that culminated in the raid of his Mar-a-Lago home.

 

he FBI recovered an additional cache of classified documents from President Joe Biden’s home in Wilmington, Delaware, following a 12-hour search conducted by federal agents on Friday. While this development adds to the scandal surrounding the current president, it does much more: It highlights the ridiculous plot launched to destroy Donald Trump that culminated in the raid of his Mar-a-Lago home.

 

“Six items” were recovered on Friday from Biden’s Delaware home, which consisted of “documents with classification markings and surrounding materials,” the president’s lawyer said in a statement released after the search. While the “crafty legalese” deployed by the attorney left unclear how many classified documents were contained within the “six items” recovered, Biden’s lawyer confirmed that the documents dated back to the Delaware Democrat’s time as both vice president and senator, so spanning from 2017 to as far back as 1973.

 

The president’s lawyers had previously searched the Bidens’ Wilmington home (and garage), and while they discovered a handful of other documents marked classified, they apparently overlooked the “six items” the FBI found last week.

 

The search of Biden’s home followed the discovery in November 2022 of at least 10 classified documents, including ones reportedly marked “top secret.” Those documents also dated back to his days as vice president under Barack Obama and were stored in a closet at a private office building in D.C. But the so-called “think tank” where they were stored, the Penn Biden Center, did not open until February 2018, meaning Biden had kept the classified documents found there at another location for the year following his time as vice president.

 

That the classified documents Biden removed from the White House and earlier the Senate were not missed at the time and are only now being discovered — at least a decade later for some — and then only after multiple searches of different locations, contrasts sharply with what happened following Trump’s time in office.

 

According to then-archivist of the United States, David S. Ferriero, he watched “the Trumps leave the White House and getting off in the helicopter” at the end of Trump’s term. Ferriero recalled someone was “carrying a white banker box,” prompting Ferriero to ask himself, “What the hell’s in that box?”

Ferriero claimed, “[T]hat began a whole process of trying to determine whether any records had not been turned over to the Archives,” with the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) “going through materials transferred from the White House in the chaotic final days of Trump’s presidency.” According to The Washington Post, “officials had noticed that certain high-profile documents were missing,” such as “Trump’s correspondence with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un that he had termed ‘love letters.’”

 

The NARA also could not locate the “National Weather Service map of Hurricane Dorian, which Trump had famously marked up with a black Sharpie pen to extend to Alabama,” or the letter Obama had left for Trump upon the change in administrations.

 

NARA sought the return of these documents, and in January 2022, Trump representatives worked with NARA employees to arrange for 15 boxes of presidential papers to be returned to the archive. Within those boxes were some documents marked “classified,” which led NARA to refer the matter to the Department of Justice.

 

The DOJ then launched an investigation into Trump, even though when alerted to Hillary Clinton’s mishandling of classified documents, NARA made no such referral. A grand jury later issued a subpoena for any presidential documents, and following a search of Mar-a-Lago by Trump’s representatives, those documents were turned over. However, after a source told the DOJ that some documents remained at Mar-a-Lago, the FBI obtained a search warrant and executed a surprise raid on the former president’s home.

 

This entire sequence began because NARA went looking for missing documents and then, rather than work with Trump to establish his presidential library and to arrange for the documents to be stored under the auspices of NARA’s custody at a mutually agreeable location — something NARA had done for Obama — NARA created a federal criminal case out of the matter.

 

Had NARA dug through former Senator and then-Vice President Biden’s documents looking for the smoking gun that was not there, they would have discovered the classified documents Biden absconded with too — and likely many more documents that over the last decade-plus years disappeared forever. Ditto for Obama.

 

The most recent discovery of “six items” containing an untold number of classified documents at Biden’s Delaware home illustrates this point. It also brings into focus the get-Trump scheme launched by a “backbench bureaucrat” that culminated in the raid on the former president’s Mar-a-Lago home.

 

With this reality now in focus, Americans would be wise to revisit the timeline leading up to the Mar-a-Lago raid because the Trump classified-document scandal bears all the hallmarks of a hoax peddled by the deep-state cabal and their corrupt media partners.

Defense Department leaders today announced the creation of a 15th university-affiliated research center associated with Howard University in Washington, D.C.

The announcement represents two firsts for the U.S. military: It's the first university-affiliated research center associated with one of America's historically Black colleges and universities and the first sponsored by the Air Force.

 

"Today as we work to build enduring advantages for our brave men and women in uniform, we must seek the latest innovations in science and engineering," Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III told students and faculty at Howard University. "That means building more bridges to America's outstanding STEM [science, technology, engineering and math] community. You see, we need your ideas; we need your creativity and we need to draw on the skills of all of our people."

 

Some 30% of African American STEM professionals graduate from one of America's historically Black colleges and universities, Austin said, yet only a small fraction of the Defense Department's research funding is directed towards HBCUs. That's something Austin said he's determined to change.

"To sharpen America's technological edge and to strengthen America's outstanding military, the department is committed to investing even more in HBCUs and minority-serving institutions," he said. "Today, we're taking that commitment to a new level."

 

The new research center will be led by Howard University and will focus on tactical autonomy, which is an area of research which is central to U.S. security, Austin said.

 

"Responsibly used autonomous systems make our military faster, smarter and stronger," Austin said. "They can identify threats to our troops in real-time and they can help our technical crews conduct maintenance more safely. And they can equip our commanders with the best available information to make life and death decisions."

 

The research expected to take place under the leadership of Howard University, Austin said, will focus on those important areas, and will help to protect the men and women who serve the nation's armed forces.

 

"Ladies and gentlemen, the United States of America has the strongest fighting force in human history," Austin said, "And thanks to new partnerships like this one, we're going to keep it that way. That's the American way, and it's the Howard way."

 

A UARC is a DOD-supported non-profit research organization affiliated with a university that has a specific area of domain expertise or specialization, and which supports the long-term needs of the Defense Department. With the addition of the newest UARC, to be led by Howard University, the Department will have 15 such research organizations.

 

Howard University was chosen to lead a consortium of universities that will participate in the newest UARC. Those universities include Jackson State University, Mississippi; Tuskegee University, Alabama; Hampton University, Virginia; Bowie State University, Maryland; Norfolk State University, Virginia; Delaware State University, Delaware; Florida Memorial University, Florida; and Tougaloo College, Mississippi.

 

Howard University will receive $12 million per year for five years to fund research, faculty and students.

Teen boy shot on NYC bus is son of top area police official

A teenager who was shot on an MTA bus in the Bronx over the weekend was wounded during a gang-related fight with other youngsters — and is the son of a high-ranking Westchester County police official, law enforcement sources told The Post.

The 17-year-old victim in the Saturday evening shooting is the son of Mount Vernon Police Deputy Commissioner Jeniffer Lackard, according to the sources.

The teen, whose name is being withheld by The Post, had boarded the BX5 bus in Soundview around 6 p.m.with three other boys, two of them 12 and one 10-year-old, the sources said.

A pair of teenagers got on at Hunts Point Avenue and Bruckner Boulevard — and the victim allegedly flashed gang signs at them as he started to get off the bus, according to sources.

He allegedly asked them for their gang affiliation — and then grabbed one of them, a 14-year-old, and tried to drag him off the bus, the sources said.

During the scuffle, two shots were fired, with one hitting the victim in the chest.

Police sources said the victim has three prior arrests and is affiliated with the Slutty Gang street crew.

He was rushed to Jacobi Hospital and was expected to recover. ~~(what a shame…)~~

Three people were arrested at the scene, but all were later released when police determined they were not involved in the shooting, the sources said.

Cops recovered two .22-caliber shell casings nearby.

The victim’s neighbors in Soundview said the teen lived there with his police bigwig mom, his father and his disabled brother — and were surprised to hear that he was identified by sources as having gang ties.

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — Lynette Hardaway, a zealous supporter of former President Donald Trump whose death had prompted widespread speculation over its cause, died earlier this month of a heart condition, according to a death certificate obtained Monday by The Associated Press.

 

Known by the moniker “Diamond” of the conservative political commentary duo Diamond and Silk, Hardaway, 51, died Jan. 8 of heart disease due to chronic high blood pressure.

 

Hardaway and her sister, Rochelle “Silk” Richardson, found internet stardom as Black women who ardently backed Trump during his 2016 presidential campaign. After making several campaign appearances with the former president, the two leveraged their notoriety to land regular commentator roles at Fox News. Their promotion of coronavirus falsities eventually got them dropped, but they landed at the far-right cable and digital media platform Newsmax.

 

The cause of Hardaway’s death, which was not released by the family, had become a topic of widespread speculation. A torrent of social media users suggested COVID-19 was to blame.

 

Many of the posts were based on an unsourced, and since-deleted, online report from November that claimed Hardaway had been hospitalized with COVID-19. Both Diamond and Silk vehemently denied that the virus had put Hardaway in the hospital.

 

COVID-19 was not listed as a cause or contributing factor on her death certificate, which was provided to the AP by the Hoke County Register of Deeds and was signed by a local doctor. No autopsy was performed.

 

A memorial ceremony held in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and streamed online Saturday renewed speculation when Richardson suggested her sister’s death was somehow linked to the COVID-19 vaccine. She insinuated Hardaway may have been “poisoned” by another person who had been vaccinated, amplifying the false notion that recipients can affect those around them.

 

At the memorial, Richardson mentioned people “dying suddenly,” a reference that has become shorthand among some anti-vaccine activists for deaths they say were caused by COVID-19 shots, despite studies showing the vaccines are safe and effective.

 

Joined on stage at the memorial by Trump, Richardson said her sister died after returning to her North Carolina home from a relative’s birthday celebration. Richardson noticed her sister looking strange and Hardaway suddenly said: “I can’t breathe,” Richardson recalled. She and her husband performed CPR on the kitchen floor as they waited for emergency services.
