My fellow Americans, over the course of the next several days you will undoubtedly realize that we are taking back our great country (the land of the free) from the evil tyrants that wish to do us harm and destroy the last remaining refuge of shining light. On POTUS’ order, we have initiated certain fail-safes that shall safeguard the public from the primary fallout which is slated to occur 11.3 upon the arrest announcement of Mr. Podesta (actionable 11.4). POTUS will be well insulated/protected on AF1 and abroad (specific locations classified) while these operations are conducted due to the nature of the entrenchment. It is time to take back our country and make America great again. Let us salute and pray for the brave men and women in uniform who will undertake this assignment to bring forth peace, unity, and return power to the people.

It is our hope that this message reaches enough people to make a meaningful impact. We cannot yet telegraph this message through normal methods for reasons I’m sure everyone here can understand. Searching the internet for "Twisted Truth" and "Michael Baxter," PolitiFact discovered a website called twistedtruth.net, as well as a corresponding YouTube page. At least one since-deleted article from Real Raw News, about the mythical planet Nibiru, was copied word-for-word from a previous article on Twisted Truth. The article’s headline on both sites: "France to Nuke Nibiru."

The author of Twisted Truth, which has not posted an article since February 2020, also goes by "Michael Baxter." And his biography on Twisted Truth matches what he wrote on Real Raw News. The "About Us" page for Twisted Truth says the "Michael Baxter" on its bylines is "a former mainstream journalist" who worked for the New York Post, the Village Voice, and the Dallas Morning News, and that he "is also a former English teacher." The "About Us" page for Real Raw News says Baxter is "a former mainstream journalist and former English teacher."

We could not confirm Baxter’s employment history or journalism credentials. The New York Post declined to comment, and PolitiFact’s inquiries to the Village Voice and the Dallas Morning News went unanswered.

Our research into the Twisted Truth website led us to a 2017 YouTube video that showed an interview with a "Michael Baxter" associated with yet another website and YouTube channel.

Wyoming Stable Token Act Enacted Into Law

March 17, 2023, Wyoming became the first state to enact a bill allowing it to create its own stablecoin. After vetoing the original version of the bill in March 2022, Governor Mark Gordon allowed the updated version SF0127 – Wyoming Stable Token Act (the Act) to go into law, albeit without his signature.

Summary of the Act

The stable token and the corresponding trust account that backs the stable token established by the Act will function as follows:

An individual stable token is a virtual currency representation of US $1.

A token shall be redeemable upon demand for US $1 (except in the event that the US short-term Treasury rate falls below zero, or the value of the assets held in the trust account falls below US $1 per stable token outstanding).

The notional value of all outstanding tokens will be held 100% in the newly-established Wyoming stable token trust account(although the trust does not create any fiduciary duty between the state and token holders).

Funds held in the trust will be invested only in low-risk short-term US Treasuries.

Any investment earnings generated above 102% of outstanding token value will be deposited into a separate Wyoming stable token administration account, to cover operational costs and fund other state endeavors.

The Act establishes a Wyoming Stable Token Commission with the ability to issue and oversee the program.

The Act provides that the Commission “shall endeavor to issue at least one Wyoming stable token not later than December 31, 2023.” Startup costs of US $500,000 will be provided by the Wyoming state treasury for issuing and administering the tokens, although such funds are expected to be repaid, presumably from anticipated interest income.

Governor’s Reaction

Governor Gordon sent an open letter to the secretary of state lauding the Act as a significant contribution to Wyoming’s financial ecosystem, and furthering Wyoming’s leadership position in the digital asset world. He did, however, raise some concerns about the thoroughness and feasibility of the plan. He noted that running simply on a “poorly thought through build-it-and-they-will-come scheme” — is a perilous path forward, especially considering recent stablecoin and digital asset market failures. He was also concerned that startup costs may exceed the initial US $500,000 allowance, and that details are lacking on the size, qualifications, and cost of the required support staff.

Finally, he reiterated an objection raised in his veto of the Bill in March 2022, that the stable token may face state constitutional challenges (namely, when Wyoming taxpayers fund and administer a token project, and tokens may be traded beyond state boundaries by non-citizens, it may run afoul of the state constitution’s prohibition on the state funding any individual, association, or corporation, except for necessary support of the poor).

Nevertheless, he was comfortable that the Act made sufficient progress from the previously vetoed bill to become law this time around, and was hopeful that a successful project would contribute to “vital progress” as well as “significant revenue” for the state.

Following the arrest of V.I. tax-break recipient Jeffrey Epstein on child molestation charges, Delegate Stacey Plaskett announced Tuesday she will make charitable donations in the amount Epstein donated to her election campaigns in 2016 and 2018.

“In light of new information and allegations that have been made against Jeffrey Epstein I have decided to make contributions to Virgin Islands organizations that work with women and children in the amount of his previous contributions,” Plaskett said in a statement.

“My litmus test for accepting campaign contributions has been based on whether the donor’s money was made legally or by ill-gotten means and that the contributor will not ask of me or my Congressional office for any special favors. All my contributions have passed that test. In this case however, I am uncomfortable having received money from someone who has been accused of these egregious actions multiple times,” she said.

She said she hoped any other V.I. elected officials who took Epstein’s money will do the same.

The move comes on the heels of news articles suggesting she might not return the money.

According to the Federal Election Commission website, Epstein made three donations of $2,700 each, for a total of $8,100 between 2016 and 2018. Those cover two election cycles, in which Plaskett received a little more than $722,000 in campaign contributions.

• Epstein has been accused of sexually exploiting dozens of underage girls between 2002 and 2005, according to prosecutors.

• Plaskett is involved with committees and has certain responsibilities on the floor but not if her vote is going to be decisive.

Wealthy political financier and accused child molester Jeff Epstein contributed directly to Democratic Rep. Stacey Plaskett’s last two campaigns for Congress.

The U.S. Virgin Islands lawmaker has decided she will be keeping the cash, even after Epstein’s arrest in New York, at least for now.

Mike McQueery, a spokesman for Plaskett’s office, told CNBC she has no immediate plans to refund the donation. “I’m pretty sure she’s not,” he said and later confirmed, in a follow-up phone call to verify her position, that his boss is unlikely to return the contribution. He declined to comment further about the investigation and how Plaskett knew Epstein.

Since the Virgin Islands is considered a territory, its representative in the House of Representatives is a delegate with limited voting power. Plaskett is involved with committees and has certain responsibilities on the floor but not if her vote is going to be decisive.

Still, the decision by Plaskett is significant as it shows that at least one politician is remaining defiant with holding onto donations from Epstein, even after Epstein’s arrest. He’s been accused of sexually exploiting dozens of underage girls between 2002 and 2005, according to prosecutors.

“Epstein created a vast network of underage victims for him to sexually exploit,” the indictment read. Epstein on Monday pleaded not guilty to the charges and has been ordered to be held without bail.

Epstein, who owns an entire private island in the Virgin Islands called Little Saint James, contributed $2,700 to Plaskett, the most an individual donor can give directly to a candidate in both the primary and the general election, during her 2018 run for re-election, according to a Federal Election Commission record. In 2016, he wrote two separate $2,700 checks for Plaskett, including one during her primary campaign which she eventually won. She finished the 2018 congressional midterms raising just over $359,000.

Plaskett appears to be one of the few candidates that received a donation from Epstein last cycle. The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee saw a $10,000 check from him in October but immediately sent it back.
