After a bullish start to 2023, iron ore is struggling with the reality that China’s property sector — the steelmaking material’s largest demand driver for two decades — is still far from a robust recovery.

 

Iron ore dipped below $100 a ton this week for the first time since early December, becoming the biggest victim of a bearish mood across industrial metals. The main culprit is a weaker-than-expected peak construction season, which runs from April through June, highlighting China’s uneven rebound. President Xi Jinping’s flagship campaign to squeeze debt from the real estate sector has stifled commodities demand, as developers focus on completing existing projects with few new ones in the pipeline. That’s crimped the appetite for iron ore and metals during a period when building sites should be buzzing. “Developers are very reluctant to start new projects outside of the top-tier cities, and that’s where the bulk of steel demand used to come from,” said Tomas Gutierrez, an analyst at Kallanish Commodities Ltd. Iron ore was “overhyped” as the price rallied late last year into March, he added. China’s steel mills are already losing money and cutting output in an ominous sign for global miners. Prices for iron ore to copper — and the fortunes of major producers such as BHP Group and Rio Tinto Group — have been tied to the nation’s property booms and slowdowns since 2000. China’s economy grew at the fastest pace in a year during the first quarter, and several banks recently raised growth forecasts, but the rebound has been patchy. The recovery has been led by consumer sectors, with the government so far reluctant to unleash major stimulus.

 

While real estate has turned a corner in terms of prices and sales this year, fresh investment is still falling. Property starts will decline 12.5% in 2023, according to Hong Kong-based consultancy Real Estate Foresight. Citigroup Inc. is even more pessimistic, with a forecast for a 40% contraction. Iron ore slipped to $99.90 a ton on Wednesday in Singapore and was trading near $105 on Thursday. As a result of the Court Order which was issued by my Federal Court Judge to the three Justices (that if they don't respond to my lawsuit against them, they would be removed from office) they lawyered up, complied with the order and filed a motion asking the judge to not let my case go forward on grounds that they are just too important to be sued, that they should be immune to such things, and that (in so many words) are above the Law. Well, this gives us the opportunity to file an opposition to this motion, and oppose it we will! They are submitting to the decision of my judge, which they can appeal all the way up to the US Supreme Court! What do I say about this? Ha ha, bring it on baby!

A cyber security expert has been grilled by Sky News Australia host Laura Jayes over the credibility of his TikTok-commissioned report into the social media company’s data collection regime.

 

An Australian cyber security expert has refused to reveal how much TikTok paid him to publish a report downplaying the risks of using the controversial social media platform.

 

In a fiery interview with Sky News host Laura Jayes, Monash University Cyber-Security Professor Nigel Phair declined to reveal how much he was paid to prepare the report, arguing the details were “commercial in-confidence”.

 

Mr Phair has argued TikTok is not any greater a security threat than other major tech platforms such as Google and Facebook.

 

“All the applications collect a similar amount of data – we’ve got to remember they’re commercial entities who collect data for commercial purposes to provide you … with the best user experience,” he said.

 

“So when we look at things like should we give access to the app of our camera – all the power in that regard I believe is really with the user, whether you want to actually allow that to happen or not.”

However, Mr Phair appeared stumped when Jayes asked him a series of tough questions about who commissioned the report.

 

Jayes said the review was “hard to believe” given TikTok set the parameters of Mr Phair’s study.

 

She then pressed him on whether it was possible for the report not to be “complimentary” as the Chinese-owned tech giant had paid him and given him guidance.

 

“Why would they pay for a report that actually criticises them even further,” she said.

 

But Mr Phair denied any suggestion TikTok had advised him what not to include as part of his investigation.

 

“They gave me guidance saying we want you to look technically at policy, they didn’t say what you can and you can’t do they said we want you to focus on these things so that’s what I focused on.”

 

Mr Phair’s report predominantly centred on TikTok’s privacy policies in comparison to Facebook, Google and large corporations such as Australia’s big four banks.

 

His report claims TikTok collects a similar amount of data as its competitors.

 

But he was then grilled on whether his findings were skewed as they made no mention of China’s security laws which require all state organisations to “support, assist, and cooperate” with Chinese intelligence agencies.

 

“Do you not think that increases the risk of how data on TikTok would be used compared to Facebook and Google?” Jayes asked.

Blind Item #1 - The Priceless Collection - A Himmmm Blind

I thought it may be nice to share an item that didn't include kids being abused. Although I warn you it is adult in nature with some very adult descriptions, all the participants seemed over legal age and there of their own choice – well, as far as I knew anyway, some were borderline in age and some may have been so chemically altered they had no idea where they were. I think that's my excuse from back in the day anyway.

 

So, this Fall – in October- I got a call from an old friend, who is an attorney working with the estate of a dead legendary celebrity (permanent A list celebrity) whom I will refer to as PM. PM died recently and left behind a large estate to be settled, and it was easy to forget how powerful he once was and what an original "influencer" he was on shaping culture in his time. My friend said they've been overseeing the catalog inventory of items of the estate. They were going through some old personal photos taken at a party of PM (Annual Shakespeare like party in name only) and said he'd found some hilarious photos of me from back in the 1980s, and would I like them? Scared at first, I was reassured the were only mildly embarrassing. Photos of me, two models, drunk in a pool one night with an inflatable ducky pool float on my head. Egad.

 

I went to the legendary estate of PM and found it more run down than I recall, and quite vacant. My lawyer pal and one of his investigator/paralegals were there, along with PM's son. We'd never met, but he was very nice, and asked if I minded going underground to the vault with them. A security guy started with us, but stopped at the elevator and we three went down together. We all descended into the depths of the house to a walk-in bank vault installed actually BENEATH the basement of the house. Like a bunker, with tunnels going to someplace. It was as big as a living room. I thought it peculiar when they both said I needed to leave all cell phones and electronics on the table outside the big vault. They said that no electronics are ever allowed inside, and when you pass through the entrance to the vault there's a "net" that will erase things and jam signals and it will kill your phone. Wild. I thought we just did that in movies and not sure it really existed. I happily complied, left my goods, and in we went.

Gov. Greg Abbott Does Not Seem Concerned That He’s Funding a Texas University Lab That Worked To Censor Conservatives

 

Texas Governor Greg Abbott did not address repeated questions from the Daily Caller News Foundation about whether he thinks it is appropriate for taxpayer funding to support a Texas university project that worked to censor conservatives.

The University of Texas at Austin houses the Global Disinformation Lab, which partnered with the Global Disinformation Index (GDI), a group that works to blacklist conservative news sites from ad exchanges, for a research report released in December 2022.

“The vast tentacles of the Censorship Industrial Complex have wound their way into universities, private-sector business, and nonprofits in nearly every nook and cranny of this country,” Michael Chamberlain, Protect the Public’s Trust director, told the DCNF.

 

Texas Governor Greg Abbott declined to answer repeated questions from the Daily Caller News Foundation on whether he believes it is appropriate for taxpayer funds to support a Texas university’s project that worked to censor conservatives.

 

The University of Texas at Austin houses the Global Disinformation Lab, established in 2020 to research a “broad spectrum of information, misinformation, and disinformation via digital media.” The lab recently partnered with the Global Disinformation Index (GDI), which works to blacklist conservative news sites from ad exchanges, according to documents obtained by the Washington Examiner, for a research report released in December 2022.

 

Researchers from the UT Austin lab analyzed 69 news websites between June and October, finding conservative websites — including the New York Post, Reason, RealClearPolitics, The Daily Wire, The Blaze, OANN, The American Conservative, The Federalist, Newsmax and The American Spectator — most at risk for disinformation, according to the review. Meanwhile, liberal-leaning websites like The Washington Post, BuzzFeed News and The New York Times were rated “low” risk.

 

The Daily Caller News Foundation reached out to Governor Abbot’s office on seven occasions over the course of a week, asking his opinion on taxpayer funds going to the lab’s projects, as the university receives 24% of its funding from state and county support. Communications director Renae Eze provided a statement highlighting Abbott’s freedom of speech initiatives but did not address the question.

Tucker Carlson Tonight producer Abby Grossberg is suing Carlson and the Fox Network over sexual behavior in the workplace, despite never having met Carlson in person.

 

The Spectator reports that lawyers for Grossberg have confirmed that she never actually met Carlson. "Like many on the [Tucker Carlson Tonight] staff, Abby never met Tucker Carlson in person because he taped the show from his personal studios in Maine and Florida, and he did not visit Fox's NY HQ during her time there," said one of Grossberg's attorneys Kimberly A. Catala.

 

Grossberg was the head of booking from July 2022 until she was recently placed on leave in March. She "alleges that Carlson encouraged a hostile and sexist workplace environment among his employees. Grossberg says she was subjected to bullying, antisemitic comments and sexism by staff while working out of Fox’s Manhattan office," Spectator reports.

 

Despite never having met Carlson, Grossberg told rival network MSNBC that "Tucker and his executive producer Justin Wells, who was also fired, really were responsible for breaking me and making my life a living hell."

 

"Since Tucker did not come to the Fox office, he relied on Justin Wells, his executive producer, and others like Alexander McCaskill, senior producer, who were present in the office every day to be his eyes, ears and mouthpiece, and to convey his ‘tone,’ as they threateningly reminded Ms. Grossberg," Catala said.

 

The allegation per Grossberg's attorneys is that Carlson directed the "sexist" environment from afar. Apparently, the attorneys posited that Carlson had staff work as his "eyes" and "ears" in the New York office while he worked away in Maine.

 

Carlson and Fox parted ways on Monday morning, though promos for the evening's show were already airing as the press release from Fox went out. It is unclear as to why Fox dismissed the insanely popular news anchor, though speculation abounds, including that Fox owner Rupert Murdoch took issue with Carlson's Christian beliefs.

 

Carlson has been seen in Florida enjoying time with his wife, and laughing about finally being able to dine together on weeknights. His show has been on the air for 7 years, and in that time he amassed a loyal following. In the hours following his departure from the network, "RIP Fox News" was trending on Twitter as many viewers found they had no reason to tune in once Carlson was no longer on the air.

 

The end of the Tucker Carlson Tonight era was celebrated by AOC, who had called for federal regulation of Fox and Carlson, which routinely took aim at her and her shenanigans.

Planned Parenthood Aborted Nearly 375,000 Unborn Children Last Year: Report

 

Planned Parenthood aborted almost 375,000 unborn children last year, setting another record for the organization as elective abortions remain the leading cause of death for children in the United States.

 

In the wake of the Supreme Court’s historic overturning of Roe v. Wade with the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization decision in the summer of 2022, which fundamentally changed the abortion landscape across the nation, at least 14 states have outlawed abortions with few to no exceptions.

 

In the new annual report released this week, the organization documented 374,155 abortions performed last year amid receiving $670.4 million in government grants and reimbursements — an increase of about 5.8% from the previous year. According to a Life News analysis, Planned Parenthood performed 1,025 abortions daily or terminated a baby every 84 seconds.

 

Dr. Michael New, a self-described conservative Catholic professor and researcher, reported in the National Review that Planned Parenthood recorded the second-most abortions performed by the organization in its history, representing approximately 40 percent of abortions last year in the U.S.

 

“This is unsurprising,” New said.

 

According to the Guttmacher Institute’s estimate, just under 1 million unborn children lost their chance at life in the United States last year, with fewer than half of the abortions performed by Planned Parenthood.

 

New’s reaction to the staggering number seemed predictable to him and other pro-life advocates considering President Joe Biden repealed the Trump administration’s Protect Life Rule, which allowed Planned Parenthood to become eligible for more government funding through Title X grants.

 

Abortion data analyzed last year from the pro-life medical research group Charlotte Lozier Institute shows a breakdown of the various reasons women seek abortions, which range from rape and incest to the risk to the mother’s life or health or a fetal abnormality.

 

 

With such reasons only making up less than 5% of the abortions performed, the data concluded 95.7% of procedures were marked as “elective or unspecified reasons.”

 

Lila Rose, founder and president of pro-life organization Live Action, called the organization’s latest annual report “horrific.”

The abortion giant’s report also noted the organization offered fewer services to women — prenatal services dropped by 29%, miscarriage care fell 5%, adoption referrals fell by 7%, and pregnancy tests fell by 3.7%.

 

Planned Parenthood’s latest numbers broke previous statistics reported by Life News, which said the organization aborted 354,871 unborn children in 2019.

A Guest visiting the Walt Disney World Resort was caught exposing himself and watching porn while onboard an attraction at Walt Disney World.

 

The incident took place in EPCOT, with Cast Members first becoming suspicious after the man, Robert Fitzpatrick, asked to be seated by himself on Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. This caused confusion for Cast Members, as ride vehicles for this attraction can hold several people.

 

The report stated that multiple Cast Members caught Fitzpatrick smoking on the security cameras and then proceeded to touch himself while riding the attraction. The ride was stopped multiple times, with one Cast Member making an announcement that smoking is not permitted. Shortly after the attraction started up again, Fitzpatrick began to watch porn on his cell phone.

 

He then placed his hand down his pants, according to the report.

 

The man began masturbating while inside the ride vehicle. According to one EPCOT Cast Member, the man ejaculated before he exited the ride. The entire incident was caught on surveillance video and was provided to the sheriff’s office for further investigation.

The man was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor of exposing himself. While you may the visibility on think Disney rides si limited, you couldn’t be more wrong. Disney has surveillance in nearly every corner fo the Parks, including on the actual rides.

Guise i got hit in the ankle by a dary of some kind today. It has that classic 4 point pattern of a vaxx scar.

 

There were only 3 places it could ha e happened, all normal places. Gas station, store etc. and I had no pain of any kind until 6 hours later. Given that, it did not likely do shit to me.

 

Point is, be carefull out there anons. And have universal antidotes standing by.
