Ottawa businessman and Muslim activist Kamel El-Cheikh is organizing a Million Person March to protest gender ideology and "Pride" month in schools. He told The Post Millennial that his goal is to bring together a million Canadians of all faiths from coast to coast on Sept. 20.

Although he has rarely been in the media spotlight as a businessman, El-Cheikh has become a prominent protest organizer in the last months as he has led groups of Muslims and Christians in Ottawa who are opposed to children being told they can change their gender without telling their parents and to pornographic literature used in sex education.

"I am optimistic – absolutely. You know, if [there's] one thing that's going to inspire Canadians from coast to coast to go down and protest it's the kids and their innocence and it's families," he said.

El-Cheikh says LGBTQ ideology is being preached to children and has shared photographs with The Post Millennial of school pamphlets that specifically target Muslim children. One such form asks the question, "Can I still be Muslim if I am queer?"

The literature assures the reader that there is no conflict between Islam and homosexuality, a contention that El-Cheikh called "blasphemy." He said Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's insistence that Muslims accept his views on LGBTQ ideology amounts to a "fatwa," or an edict on faith and morals.

Even though the material is presented by imans who have apparently bought into gender ideology, El-Cheikh said the kids rejected his words.

"The kids called them out on it and they told them, 'Excuse me sir, you're a liar.' These are 14- year-old kids and they walked out of class anyway."

El-Cheikh spoke to a group of protesters on June 13. He says that speech urged Muslims, Christians and people of all faith to band together to protect their children from the state.

"You know Canada's built of Christians and Muslims and and all denominations, why not celebrate that?"

"We can coexist and I think that's what absolutely these protests are illustrating is that Christians and Muslims and most Jews and of course a lot of common sense Canadians have a lot in common that's it's not what Justin Trudeau is preaching because Justin Trudeau is preaching and I've talked to people in the so-called LGBT communitywho just say lay off stop defining us absolutely you know let the state get out of this because stop telling me I have to vote Liberal."

He wonders why the school system and the Trudeau government are so obsessed with teaching sexuality to children and not focusing on real education.

"Remember sex is between two consenting adults that's a universal law right so how can kids consent to sexual indoctrination, sexual exploitation, sexual mutilation and all that kind of stuff? You know kids right now don't know how to eat their lunch on time let alone go to sleep on time let alone all the other things that they need to figure out why aren't we teaching math and sciences in the school?"

Under former Director James Comey, the FBI launched its investigation into President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign based in part on allegations contained in a Washington Post story that was later retracted for inaccuracies, according to a new report by Real Clear Investigations.

The nation’s top domestic surveillance agency began wiretapping Trump associate Carter Page after telling a secret FISA court that it had uncovered a “well-developed conspiracy of cooperation” between the Trump campaign and Russian state actors. In fact, this connection was established in a front-page report by the Washington Post which was later retracted after determining it was false.

Court documents released as part of special counsel John Durham’s investigation into the Trump-Russia FBI investigation were heavily redacted and in some cases the references to relying on the Post story as evidence were concealed under the guise of “sensitive” information which could not be disclosed. Two former U.S. intelligence officials who had seen the unredacted versions of the documents confirmed to Real Clear Investigation that the redactions contained nothing more than the flimsy evidence within the Post story which was used as a pretext to illegally spy on Page, according to the report on Real Clear Investigations.

Earlier this year, Durham released a long-awaited report vindicating President Trump who has long maintained that his campaign was illegally spied on by the Obama FBI at the request of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign. During the run-up to the 2016 election, advisors to the Clinton campaign including now Secretary of State Anthony Blinken coordinated an open letter from former intelligence officials claiming that the Hunter Biden laptop was a product of “Russian disinformation” by Vladimir Putin intended to help elect Trump. Blinken has since denied his involvement in coordinating the signers to that letter.

In another instance of using fake news, the FBI relied on a Yahoo News story that cited a “well-placed Western intelligence source” who claimed that Page met with Kremlin officials at the behest of the Trump campaign. The source was later revealed to be former British intelligence agent Christopher Steele who had concocted the false allegation about Page in a series of now-debunked memos financed by Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

New Jersey Democratic Lieutenant Governor Dies Suddenly at Age 71 – Was Previously Rushed to Hospital for “Undisclosed Medical Issue”

New Jersey Lt. Gov. Sheila Oliver suddenly passed away Tuesday at the age of 71.

As ABC News reported, the news comes just one day after she was rushed to the hospital for an undisclosed medical issue. The cause of death at this time is unknown.

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy’s office previously announced that Oliver had been admitted to Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston on Monday.

Oliver had been serving as the acting governor this week because Murphy decided to abscond to Italy for a family vacation.

Oliver became lieutenant governor of the Garden State in 2018 and also served as the head of the Department of Community Affairs.

Florida Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz introduced legislation Tuesday that would abolish the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) for reportedly pushing issues such as abortion, gender equity programs and climate alarmism abroad.

The Daily Caller first obtained a copy of the legislation, which is related to a May 10, 2022 Heritage Foundation report that found USAID was using U.S. taxpayer dollars to push far-left ideology. The legislation would eliminate federal funds for USAID to further carry out any of the functions, duties or responsibilities assigned or delegated to the agency.

The bill would also rescind the funds that are not obligated to be made available for the agency and transfer all other assets or liabilities to the Secretary of State.

“American taxpayer dollars are being wasted to fund radical leftist propaganda in foreign countries. The American people will not tolerate government-funded degeneracy at home, and we certainly will not accept its force-feeding abroad under Old Glory,” Gaetz told the Caller before introducing the bill.

“USAID does not serve a meaningful purpose. It is used as a slush fund for international wokeism. Therefore, serious lawmakers in Congress should support its complete abolition,” he added.

The legislation is cosponsored by Reps. Andy Biggs, Eli Crane, Paul Gosar, Marjorie Taylor Greene and Anna Paulina Luna.

US trucking giant Yellow shutting down operations amid standoff with Teamsters union

The company sent notices to customers and employers, according to a report from The Wall Street Journal.

The end of the road comes after the company earlier this month averted a strike by some 22,000 Teamsters-represented workers, saying the company will pay the more than $50 million it owed in worker benefits and pension accruals.

Then on Thursday, the company said it was exploring opportunities to divest its third-party logistics company Yellow Logistics Inc, and was engaged with multiple interested parties.

Formerly known as YRC Worldwide Inc., Yellow was one of the nation's largest less-than-truckload carriers with some 30,000 employees across the country.

The shutdown comes after more than a decade of financial struggles and seeing customers leave in droves.

FreightWaves reported last week that employees were told to expect the filing Monday. Yellow laid off an unknown number of employees Friday, the outlet later reported, citing a memo that stated the company was "shutting down its regular operations."

According to Satish Jindel, president of transportation and logistics firm SJ Consulting, Yellow handled an average of 49,000 shipments per day in 2022. Last, that number was down to between 10,000 and 15,000 daily shipments.

As of late March, Yellow had an outstanding debt of about $1.5 billion. Of that, $729.2 million was owed to the federal government.

In 2020, under the Trump administration, the Treasury Department granted the company a $700 million pandemic-era loan on national security grounds. Last month, a congressional probe concluded that the Treasury and Defense Departments "made missteps" in this decision — and noted that Yellow's "precarious financial position at the time of the loan, and continued struggles, expose taxpayers to a significant risk of loss."

The government loan is due in September 2024. As of March, Yellow had made $54.8 million in interest payments and repaid just $230 million of the principal owed, according to government documents.

Meanwhile, a series of heated exchanges had been building up between the Teamsters and Yellow, who sued the union in June after alleging it was "unjustifiably blocking" restructuring plans needed for the company's survival.

The Teamsters called the litigation "baseless" – with general president Sean O'Brien pointing to Yellow's "decades of gross mismanagement," which included exhausting the $700 million federal loan.

Vivek Ramaswamy settles lawsuit with World Economic Forum, will donate money

EXCLUSIVE: Republican presidential candidate and businessman Vivek Ramaswamy has settled his lawsuit against the "globalist" World Economic Forum (WEF) for "creating a false perception" he was affiliated with the organization, and has promised to donate the settlement money to a conservative nonprofit.

Ramaswamy slapped the organization with a lawsuit in a Cincinnati, Ohio court in April after it failed to remove his name from its 2021 list of Young Global Leaders even though he declined the nomination to the list and requested multiple times for them to remove his name.

In a letter Ramaswamy shared with Fox News Digital, the WEF apologized for its mistake of including him on the list without his permission, and noted internal changes it made to its process to ensure no such failure would happen in the future.

Ramaswamy reacted to the settlement in a video message also shared with Fox by touting what he said was his history of being one of the most vocal advocates of U.S. sovereignty, as well as his opposition to "globalist institutions" like the WEF.

"I rejected their award. I declined it. I said that I deeply disagreed with the values of the World Economic Forum and that I wouldn't be a good fit for inclusion," Ramaswamy said in the video. "A few months later, I was told that my name showed up on their website anyway. I contacted them. I told them to take it down. They had the gall to still leave my name."

"I wasn't going to let them get away with that. And so what I did is I said that I'm going to stand up for what's right," he said. "I wanted to demand that they would not only take down my affiliation with them and apologize for it, but also to make sure and commit that they would never try to do the same thing to anybody again."

Ramaswamy then vowed to distribute the undisclosed amount from the settlement to the America First Policy Institute, a nonprofit research group that "exists to advance policies that put the American people first," according to its website. Ramaswamy described the institute as "the most opposite of the World Economic Forum's agenda."

"I'm directing any payment I receive from this settlement straight to them, because this isn't about me. This is about this country and our future. And what we really need today is more leaders with a spine," he said.

"We will stop at nothing until we have restored the sovereignty of the United States of America and the ideals – the 1776 ideals of the American Revolution – that set this nation into motion," he added.

The WEF did not respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.
