23andMe user datatargeting Ashkenazi Jewsleaked online

Hackers have compiled agiant apparent list of people with Ashkenazi Jewish ancestryafter taking that information from the genetic testing service 23andMe, which isnow being shared on the internet.

 

A database that has been shared on dark web forums and viewed by NBC News has a list of 999,999 people who allegedly have used the service. It includes their first and last name, sex, and 23andMe’s evaluation of where their ancestors came from.The database is titled “ashkenazi DNA Data of Celebrities,”though most of the people on it aren’t famous, and itappears to have been sorted to only include people with Ashkenazi heritage.

 

NBC News was able to verify the data of two 23andMe users in the breach as authentic.

The company is still investigating the incident, but is treating the leak as authentic. In an emailed statement, a 23andMe spokesperson said the company believes it wasn’t hacked per se. Instead, it believes that the hackers simply gained some users’ passwords that had been hacked and leaked from other sites, then exploited the fact that 23andMe can give users vast access to each others’ genetic information.

 

A user on a popular hacker forum had claimed to have made a larger database of users for sale earlier this week. It’s unclear if whoever compiled the list to only include Ashkenazi heritage is the same person or group who initially made it for sale.

 

23andMe tests users’ genetic makeup by having them spit in a tube and processing their DNA. The company sorts people into dozens of types of human “populations“ and tells them which ones they match most closely with. The list appears to be a random sample ofhundreds of thousands of people for whom Ashkenazi Jewish is at least in their top three.

 

A popular option available to the company’s 14 million users, called DNA Relatives, allows any account to search for others who may be even a distant genetic match. A single account can see the accounts of thousands of others. 23andMe believes that the hackers simply recycled some users’ passwords — it isn’t clear how many — to scrape the list of people it had labeled as having Ashkenazi heritage.

 

“We are taking this issue seriously and will continue our investigation to confirm these preliminary results,” the statement said.

We already know that some people have a dream. A dream of a new world order, which translates to centralized world power. All eggs in one basket so to speak.

 

What were the Nazi's trying to do? Unify? On what scale?

If you wanted to create such a beast, how would you do it if you weren't worried too much about how long it would take? How would you go about accomplishing it?

 

You might take what you currently have, and build upon it. WWII - intel agencies got a really big boost around this time as well as into the 60's and 70's. They became very powerful, probably one of the things that prompted Kennedy to make his speech.

 

If you used your ability to work in the background, to manipulate world events, you could manufacture a contrived picture of world politics, which in turn allows you to manipulate peoples perceived reality, and create pretty much any narrative you want, which then provides you even more power to control things.

 

What happens if over time, ideologues, given their ability to shape things, managed over time, to put, "their," people in positions of power across the whole globe? The more people they successfully place, the more power it gives them to do the same in other places.

Russia’s ex-president blames US for Israel-Hamas fighting

US foreign policy is partly to blame for the latest violent flare-up between Israel and the Palestinians, former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has suggested. The official, who is currently Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Security Council, said Washington should have channeled its energy into ensuring a lasting peace in the Middle East but chose to focus on Ukraine instead.

 

Commenting on Saturday’s escalation between Israel and the Hamas militant group from Gaza, Medvedev wrote on his Telegram channel that these events were predictable. “This is what Washington and its allies should have dealt with,” he explained, adding that the Israel-Palestine conflict has lasted for decades, with the US being a “key player there.”

 

According to Medvedev, instead of this, “these morons got involved in our region and are actively helping neo-Nazis, pitting two close peoples against one another.”

 

The former president brought his remarks to a conclusion with the thought that “apparently only a civil war on US territory” would help quell “America’s manic passion for igniting conflictsall around the planet.”

 

On Saturday morning, Hamas militants launched a massive attack on Israel, firing thousands of missiles and then breaching the border fence and overrunning multiple Israeli towns bordering the Gaza enclave.

 

According to Israeli emergency service Magen David Adom, at least 40 Israelis have been killed and 740 others wounded.

Western officials pressure media on Ukraine’s battlefield failures – WaPo

Western officials have urged the media to depict Ukraine’s faltering counteroffensive in a more charitable light, the Washington Post has reported. In an article on Saturday, the Post alleged that “Ukrainian and Western officials in recent weeks have focused onreshaping the narrative” amid Kiev’s underwhelming progress so far. The implementation of the supposed new strategy presumably has to do with increased criticism in some Western countries, which has called into question the continuation of military aid for Kiev.

 

According to the media outlet, while Ukraine’s Western backers are publicly putting a brave face on the counteroffensive, privately they are increasingly concerned that the conflict could become a frozen one, with Kiev’s forces unable to breach Russian defenses.

 

The Post noted that several Western officials had recently paid an unusual amount of attention in their press briefings to the way the media is covering the=Ukrainian military’s progress. In one example cited by the newspaper, an unnamed official urged journalists to“lift up the conversation a bit”and stop focusing too much on the day-to-day developments on the ground, lest they miss the “fuller picture.”

 

The same official also reportedlytried to lower expectationsin the briefing, saying that a Ukrainian victory would not necessarily mean the recapture of “every bit of territory by X date” – despite Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s insistence that this is the only acceptable scenario.

 

Ukrainian officials have been limiting journalists’ access to the front line, citing security reasons, the Post continued. Special officers are making sure that sensitive topics, such as Kiev’s losses, are kept quiet.

 

Late last month, the New York Times reported that a slowdown in the counteroffensive “comes with huge risks for Ukraine.” The newspaper explained that “if it looks unlikely to recapture large areas of the country, Western support could wane, either through lack of political will or unwillingness to donate more weapons.”

France's recent ban on sales of the iPhone 12 due to radiation concerns has sparked apprehension throughout Europe about the health risks of cellphone radiation exposure. While U.S. tests focus narrowly on whether phones heat tissue, some experts argue they fail to show the whole picture.

 

“The way they're tested is to see whether or not they heat you up, and not for the chronic long-term effects that have been demonstrated,” Devra Davis, a cancer epidemiologist who holds a doctorate in science studies and a master's in public health in epidemiology, told The Epoch Times. “Particularly the effects on sperm and lower testosterone, among others.”

 

Cellphone Radiation Tests Are ‘Rigged’: Expert

 

According to Ms. Davis, the biggest problem with U.S. testing is that it’s not conducted with the phone against the body. She compared it to the "Dieselgate” scandal involving Volkswagen, where the company rigged its tests to show lower exhaust emissions than the vehicle actually produced.

 

“The same thing is happening here,” she added, noting that the tests were initially set up with spacers, as if phones were in holsters or holders.

 

When the French government tests cellphones as they are actually used, “like in your hand [or] next to your body,” Ms. Davis said, the phones exceed European Union (EU) radiation limits. France has pulled or required software updates for 42 other cellphone models that emit excessive radiation since 2017, The Telegraph reported.

 

The United States lacks this oversight, according to Ms. Davis.

 

The telecommunications industry has almost complete control of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), according to a report published by Harvard University's Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics (pdf). A telecom lobbying group executive boasted its lobbyists meet FCC officials 500 times annually, the report stated.

 

“We don't have any programs to test phones after they've been approved,” Ms. Davis said. “And the approval process is self-regulated because of this revolving door that takes place between the FCC and the telecom industry.”

 

Ms. Davis said if phones underwent drug testing, they'd be illegal. She warned of the danger cellphones pose, similar to certain drugs found to cause cancer and other health problems, in her 2010 book, "Disconnect: The Truth About Cell Phone Radiation, What the Industry Has Done to Hide It, and How to Protect Your Family," and still stands by it today.

 

The Epoch Times reached out to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to comment on this story, but they have not yet replied.

A senior leader of the militant group has told Al Jazeera that high-ranking officers are among its detainees

 

Hamas militants have reportedly captured so many Israeli soldiers, including high-ranking officers, that the group expects to negotiate a prisoner exchange for all Palestinians held in West Jerusalem’s jails.

 

“We have a big number of Israeli captives, among them senior officers,” Hamas deputy chief Saleh al-Arouri told Al Jazeera on Saturday. He added that the captives will be used as leverage to force the release of Palestinians incarcerated in Israel: “As to our prisoners, I say, your freedom is looming large. What we have in hand will see you set free. The longer fighting continues, the higher the number of prisoners will become.”

 

A public radio report indicated that captives were being held in three communities inside Israel and that some of the detainees were missing and had possibly been moved to Gaza. Hamas launched a surprise attack against Israel on Saturday, firing rockets from Gaza and deploying ground forces in several Israeli towns and military bases.

 

At least 100 Israelis have been killed, according to the country’s N12 News outlet, while “hundreds of terrorists have been eliminated” in southern Israel and Gaza. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin vowed to retaliate, saying, “Our enemy will pay a price the type of which it has never known. We are in a war, and we will win it.”

 

The Israeli military responded with airstrikes in Gaza and claimed to have killed dozens of Palestinian militants trying to infiltrate the country by sea. Gaza’s health ministry reported 198 deaths and over 1,600 injuries. Israeli energy minister Israel Katz said the supply of electricity to Gaza would be cut off amid the fighting.

 

Al Jazeera television showed a residential tower being hit by an air strike while one of its journalists was reporting live from the scene in central Gaza City.

 

Hamas dubbed its major offensive “Operation Al-Aqsa Flood” and said it was motivated by escalating Israeli attacks on Palestinians. “This is the day of the greatest battle to end the last occupation on earth,” Hamas military commander Mohammad Deif said in a broadcast message to Palestinians. He called on Palestinians everywhere to join the fight.

 

Nearly 5,200 Palestinians are currently held in Israeli jails and detention centers, according to an estimate by activist group Addameer.

The Juba City Council Mayor Michael Lado Allah-Jabu has declared a war on the outlawed group popularly known as niggers in Juba town.

According to a source within CBP, most of the migrants, mainly single adult males from countries subject to travel warnings by the U.S. State Department due to terrorism, were released into the United States to pursue asylum claims.

 

The number of migrants from special interest countries climbed by more than 140% from fiscal year 2022 when Border Patrol agents encountered more than 25,500 Special Interest migrants across the southwest border. In all, more than 112,600 “Special Interest Aliens” made the crossing in two years.

Afghanistan earthquake death toll hits 320 as Papua New Guinea and Mexico also suffer huge tremors

 

The Afghanistan earthquake death toll has now reached at least 320, according to the United Nations.

 

It comes on a day in which three strong earthquakes shook the world, with tremors also felt in Papua New Guinea and Mexico.

 

A pair of 6.3 magnitude earthquakes struck western Afghanistan on Saturday, said a spokesperson for the country's national disaster authority.

 

The United Nations gave a preliminary figure of 320 dead, but later said the figure was still being verified. Local authorities gave an estimate of 100 people killed and 500 injured, according to the same update from the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.

 

Mohammad Abdullah Jan said four villages in the Zenda Jan district in Herat province bore the brunt of the quakes and aftershocks. Dozens of houses have been damaged.

 

The epicentre was about 25 miles northwest of Herat. The most powerful earthquakes (6.3) struck Afghanistan at 7.41am and 8.12am. This was followed by a 5.5-magnitude aftershock, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).

 

A map on the USGS website indicates seven earthquakes in the area. At least five powerful earthquakes struck the city around noon, Herat city resident Abdul Shakor Samadi said.

Chinese companies, nationals indicted for shipping fentanyl chemicals to US: DOJ

 

The Department of Justice announced Tuesday charges against eight China-based companies and 12 Chinese nationals.

 

Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco explained during a speech this week that the firms and individuals are being accused of “trying to ship into the United States gallon after gallon of chemicals used to make fentanyl, methamphetamine, and other deadly drugs.”

 

A DOJ press release revealed the charges related to “fentanyl and methamphetamine production, distribution of synthetic opioids, and sales resulting from precursor chemicals.” It added that the indictments “build on prosecutions announced in June” against Chinese chemical companies and nationals. The department announced charges and sanctions against the Sinaloa Cartel’s trafficking network in April.

 

Monaco noted that the cartel used a “range of trafficking tactics to ply their deadly trade and cover their tracks,” including “blatant online advertising and encrypted messaging apps to fake shipping schemes and bitcoin payments.”

 

“This was a whole-of-government effort,” Monaco added.

 

According to Monaco, as part of the investigation, Drug Enforcement Agency agents posed as drug traffickers to identify the criminals. While the Department of Homeland Security worked to trace and stop the shipments, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Internal Revenue Service uncovered the blockchain transactions.

 

Attorney General Merrick Garland stated that the DOJ knows that much of the global fentanyl supply chain starts with chemical companies in China.

 

“The United States government is focused on breaking apart every link in that chain, getting fentanyl out of our communities, and bringing those who put it there to justice,” Garland stated.

 

The DOJ reported that many companies creating fentanyl precursor chemicals are “openly” advertising on the internet. The chemicals are then ordered by drug cartels and traffickers and shipped worldwide.

 

“These China-based chemical companies often attempt to evade law enforcement by using re-shippers in the United States, false return labels, false invoices, fraudulent postage, and packaging that conceals the true contents of the parcels and the identity of the distributors. In addition, these companies tend to use cryptocurrency transactions to conceal their identities and the location and movement of their funds,” the department explained.

 

Fentanyl is 50 times more potent than heroin and 100 times more than morphine, according to the DOJ. Two milligrams of fentanyl can be deadly to an adult, it added. The synthetic narcotic is currently the leading cause of death for Americans 18 to 49 years old.

 

DEA Administrator Anne Milgram called fentanyl the “deadliest drug threat our nation has ever faced.” She explained that the precursor chemicals used to create the fentanyl “make it especially deadly.”

 

“These eight cases are the result of DEA’s efforts to attack the fentanyl supply chain where it starts — in China,” Milgram said.

Former EU boss spreading ‘Russian narrative’ – Zelensky

The Ukrainian leader lashed out at Jean-Claude Juncker for suggesting Kiev was too corrupt to join the bloc

 

Allegations of rampant corruption in Ukraine are a “Russian narrative” designed to erode Western support for Kiev, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky claimed on Friday.

 

Speaking after the summit of the bloc’s leaders in the Spanish city of Granada, Zelensky accused former president of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, of spreading Russian propaganda about Ukraine. Earlier this week, Juncker said Ukraine was plagued by corruption “at all levels of society”and should not be accepted into the bloc any time soon.

 

Zelensky insisted that “not a single dollar was stolen from our partners”amid the conflict with Russia, but admitted that there were “different people and cases.”

 

“First of all, it is the well-known Russian narrative about corruption. They understand that they cannot split the overall unity of Europe and support for Ukraine. The US and its intelligence services learned about the roots of the idea, how to undermine society, support in the world,” Zelensky said.

Former EU boss spreading ‘Russian narrative’ – Zelensky

The Ukrainian leader lashed out at Jean-Claude Juncker for suggesting Kiev was too corrupt to join the bloc

 

Allegations of rampant corruption in Ukraine are a “Russian narrative” designed to erode Western support for Kiev, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky claimed on Friday.

 

Speaking after the summit of the bloc’s leaders in the Spanish city of Granada, Zelensky accused former president of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, of spreading Russian propaganda about Ukraine. Earlier this week, Juncker said Ukraine was plagued by corruption “at all levels of society”and should not be accepted into the bloc any time soon.

 

Zelensky insisted that “not a single dollar was stolen from our partners”amid the conflict with Russia, but admitted that there were “different people and cases.”

 

“First of all, it is the well-known Russian narrative about corruption. They understand that they cannot split the overall unity of Europe and support for Ukraine. The US and its intelligence services learned about the roots of the idea, how to undermine society, support in the world,” Zelensky said.

 

Instead of spreading the purported “Russian narrative” about Ukraine’s corruption, Junckershould have personallydone more for Ukraine, Zelensky suggested. (Here we go again! These people are stupid! I thought Ukraine learned a lesson.)

 

“That is of no interest for him? Now he decided to write some Russian narratives since everyone has forgotten who he is? I think it’s stupid,” Zelensky said.

 

Juncker, who chaired the European Commission between 2014 and 2019, made the controversial remarks in an interview with Germany’s Augsburger Allgemeine newspaper, published earlier this week. He argued that Ukraine should undergo “massive”reforms before it can join the EU, while Brussels “should not make any false promises to the people in Ukraine who are up to their neck in suffering.”

 

“Those who have dealt with Ukraine know that this is a country that is corrupt at all levels of society,” Juncker had said.

 

(Zelensky didn’t his lesson by insulting Poland, now he goes after the ex leader of the EU President. This insult to Juncker will just cement Ukraine never being invited into the EU.)

The date of this attack is symbolic to the Muslim attackers. On October 6, 1973—fifty years ago, almost to the day—the Yom Kippur War began when a coalition of Arab states attacked Israel. After 19 days of fierce fighting, Israel won a decisive victory. Muslims never forget military victories or losses and, as we’ve seen before, they like to time their attacks to coincide with those anniversaries. This attack is intended as revenge for and a re-do of that war.
