Martin—whose nomination as interim U.S. Attorney for D.C. was sabotaged by spineless Senate Republicans, led by RINO Thom Tillis—is now spearheading the crackdown on the very swamp creatures behind the Russia collusion hoax.

 

These are the same bad actors who weaponized federal power to persecute political opponents and twisted the justice system into a partisan hit machine.

 

“There was no limit to the weaponization,” Martin told The New York Post. “So there may be no limit to the targets.”

 

“It’s a nationwide and frankly, international docket where the government was used against the citizens, where the government was weaponized,” he added.

Mueller’s infamous “pitbull,” Andrew Weissmann; DOJ insider Mary McCord; and disgraced former FBI counterintelligence chief Charles McGonigal, who is now serving a prison sentence for colluding with sanctioned Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska—were all key players in the Trump-Russia saga.

Just last week, Martin’s office fired off an email to McGonigal’s attorney, asking for an interview with him over “information [that] has come to the attention of my office,” according to a copy of the letter first seen by The Post.

 

Based on the letter, it is not clear what Martin’s team unearthed about McGonigal, who is now ironically serving out a 78-month sentence for colluding with a Russian oligarch to evade US sanctions andconcealing information from the feds about how he received $225,000 from someone linked to the Albanian government.[…]

 

Perhaps the most high-profile known target Martin pursued is Weissman, who was the top lieutenant of the Mueller probe and is now an MSNBC legal analyst.

 

In March,Martin raised conflict of interest concerns against Weissman over his role in signing off on a settlement of up to $4.5 billion in a foreign bribery caserevolving around Brazilian construction giant Odebrecht while serving as chief of the Criminal Fraud Section of the Justice Department in 2016.

 

Martin pointed out that Weissman worked for the Jenner & Block law firm before leading the DOJ’s Criminal Fraud Section.

 

Jenner & Block represented Canadian private equity firm Brookfield Asset Management, which seemingly took advantage of the fallout from the bribery case and purchased a 57% stake from Odebrecht in Peruvian toll road authority Rutas de Lima in 2016.

Solicitor GeneralSauer faces the Supreme Court. Sauer is the general in charge of framing the arguments from Blanchethat reach the court. Meanwhile,DC USAO Martin, now with position changed to Presidential Appointment Martin in charge of investigating weaponized justice efforts, is the lead investigator on all enmeshed corruption within Washington DC.

As the Washington DC USAO, Ed Martin was in position to address the known and documented activity of a variety of former DOJ officials. There’s a strong argument to be made that’s the reason why the DOJ’s corrupt allies in congress moved to eliminate the threat Martin represented. However, their collective result didn’t remove him, nor did it change the objective, it just changed Mr Martin’s title.

 

Whereas Washington DC USAO Ed Martin previously carried the authority of the Attorney General, in the changed dynamicspecial appointee ADAG Ed Martin now carries the authority of the President of the United States. A serendipitous outcome.

 

♦ Because there is so much confusion, a little background context is needed. You see, you might remember former Special Prosecutor John Durham who was appointed by former Attorney General Bill Barr. During his review of all ‘Russiagate’ matters, John Durham was never permitted to investigate anyone inside govt.

 

John Durham was given a very specific task and very specific guardrails he was not allowed to cross or touch. The guardrails are what created the outcome. The guardrails were put into place by AG Bill when he officiallyappointed him in October 19, 2020; five months after the initial request to begin review.

 

Politicians, political staff, members of the Obama administration, political appointees and any federal govt employee within any agency were off limits to Durham. During a conversation on August 18, 2020, Durham’s lead investigator Bill Aldenberg first admitted the limitations. No-one inside government could be investigated.

 

But FBI Agent Kevin Clinesmith, you say?

 

Great question.

 

Kevin Clinesmith, the FBI official who fabricated a CIA email to support the FISA application used against Carter Page, was an OIG criminal referral to Bill Barr and Main Justice from the DOJ Inspector General investigation into the Page FISA construct.

 

The IG referral by Michael Horowitz preceded John Durham’s appointment and was handed to Durham by AG Barr while being told the Clinesmith case would provide cover for the guardrails. In essence, Clinesmith would give the appearance that people inside govt were being held accountable by Main Justice through the John Durham special counsel. This was the intention of Bill Barr.

 

It was all a farce. The effect of Barr’s approach was to throw off, water down and diffuse criticism from President Trump for inaction by the DOJ about the fraudulent Crossfire Hurricane targeting operation. In essence, Bill Barr gave John Durham the Clinesmith case as a cover operation to protect govt officials.

 

To be fair, and in defense of his friend, John Durham would likely take issue with my characterization of his probe, yet he would admit the gist of his conversation with Barr (as relayed above) is essentially accurate.

Sitting Congressman Reveals Secret Underground Tunnel Beneath U.S. Capitol — Claims There are Still Hidden Network of Passageways Still Unknown to Public(VIDEO)

Congressman Tim Moore (R-NC) has revealed a clandestine network of underground tunnels beneath the U.S. Capitol, exposing what he calls “hidden passageways” that have remained largely unknown to the American public.

 

In a video posted to X, Moore lifted a floor panel to reveal a steep staircase, which appeared to have graffiti on both the entrance and the steps.

 

According to the congressman, this tunnel may have played a role in the British invasion of 1814, when the Capitol was attacked and burned during the War of 1812.

This is one of the neat things about the U.S. Capitol, of course. This building—construction started in the 1700s—has all sorts of little hidden passageways. You saw I just pulled this cover up. You can see, if we get the camera to come over, but you can see there’s a passageway.

 

These are long stairs that used to be here but were closed off. We’re just off of what’s called Statuary Hall, which at one time was the actual House chamber, and it’s right outside there. But this is just an example of some of the little hidden secrets in the Capitol.

 

One of the things we do when we bring tour groups in—if it’s a small enough group, it’s a big group of people, but if it’s a small group—we’ll actually take them down this hall.

 

Believe it or not, my big self has actually gotten down, and more importantly, out of this hall. I’m not going to debut that again today, but suffice to say, I’ve been able to live, tell about it, and get out of there.

 

It goes all the way down to an old staircase, and I’m told—I can’t verify this—but I’m told thatthis staircase, which opens to the outside if you go down, was one of the staircases British soldiers used when they breached the Capitol during the War of, I think it was, 1814, when they actually attacked Washington.

 

When they came in, it was one of the stairs that British soldiers actually came up. There’s a lot of amazing history in this building. When folks come from North Carolina, we try to show things that, if it’s a small enough group and the timing is right, you can actually let folks go down there.

In the 1960's, 1970's up to early 1990's the European Royals flew around pretending to be good Samaritans giving search and rescue training with Helicopters to police and forestry services around the world.

The three top candidates have a leaning towards top-down management, high-tech solutions and draconian population control measures, Jacob Nordangård writes.

At the ‘Summit of the Future’ in September 2024, attendees adopted the United Nations’ ‘Pact for the Future’ with its annexes: the ‘Declaration on Future Generations’ and the ‘Global Digital Compact’. With these three documents, the United Nations (“UN”) is pushing for centralised global governance with itself at the helm.

 

As we noted in a previous article, the ‘Pact for the Future’ dilutes the paramount importance of human rights. The ‘Declaration on Future Generations’ raises questions about who can legitimately represent the interests of hypothetical future generations. And the ‘Global Digital Compact’ is an attempt by the UN to place itself in the driver’s seat to manage and control the digital revolution for all nations.

 

The premise of the ‘Declaration on Future Generations’ is that our lives must be subjected to global diktats so as not to endanger the generations yet to be born – in other words, our lives will be controlled and restricted by the diktats of a small select group who will base their decisions on hypothetical scenarios that may or may not impact any number of unknown generations who live in unknown locations under unknown conditions. It is simply a fortune telling scam.

Sitting Congressman Reveals Secret Underground Tunnel Beneath U.S. Capitol — Claims There are Still Hidden Network of Passageways Still Unknown to Public

 

Congressman Tim Moore (R-NC) has revealed a clandestine network of underground tunnels beneath the U.S. Capitol, exposing what he calls “hidden passageways” that have remained largely unknown to the American public.

 

In a video posted to X, Moore lifted a floor panel to reveal a steep staircase, which appeared to have graffiti on both the entrance and the steps.

 

According to the congressman, this tunnel may have played a role in the British invasion of 1814, when the Capitol was attacked and burned during the War of 1812.

This is one of the neat things about the U.S. Capitol, of course. This building—construction started in the 1700s—has all sorts of little hidden passageways. You saw I just pulled this cover up. You can see, if we get the camera to come over, but you can see there’s a passageway.

 

These are long stairs that used to be here but were closed off. We’re just off of what’s called Statuary Hall, which at one time was the actual House chamber, and it’s right outside there. But this is just an example of some of the little hidden secrets in the Capitol.

 

One of the things we do when we bring tour groups in—if it’s a small enough group, it’s a big group of people, but if it’s a small group—we’ll actually take them down this hall.

 

Believe it or not, my big self has actually gotten down, and more importantly, out of this hall. I’m not going to debut that again today, but suffice to say, I’ve been able to live, tell about it, and get out of there.

 

It goes all the way down to an old staircase, and I’m told—I can’t verify this—but I’m told that this staircase, which opens to the outside if you go down, was one of the staircases British soldiers used when they breached the Capitol during the War of, I think it was, 1814, when they actually attacked Washington.

 

When they came in, it was one of the stairs that British soldiers actually came up. There’s a lot of amazing history in this building. When folks come from North Carolina, we try to show things that, if it’s a small enough group and the timing is right, you can actually let folks go down there.

U.S. President Donald Trump’s push to assert U.S. dominance—marked by trade tensions and uncertainty—should not be viewed simply by the “chaos” those actions appear to create, says Brian Lee Crowley, managing director of the Macdonald-Laurier Institute, a Canadian think tank.

 

Instead, he argues, they reflect Trump’s broader goals, his negotiating style, and Canada’s role in U.S. strategy.

 

Trump’s election last November and his repeated tariff threats shaped much of the Canadian political landscape in recent months, becoming one of the top federal election issues, and quickly reversing the fortunes of the governing Liberal party after it had become “deeply unpopular,” said Crowley in a recent interview with Jan Jekielek, host of The Epoch Times’ “American Thought Leaders” program.

 

In addition, he said, Trump’s ideas of wanting Canada to become the 51st U.S. state made many Canadians “deeply anxious,” prompting calls to reduce economic dependency on the United States or even join the European Union—a possibility Crowley says is unfeasible due to the deep economic integration between Canada and the United States.

“Donald Trump is looming so large in the Canadian consciousness right now,” Crowley said. “I have seen a lot of my compatriots running around like chickens with their heads cut off saying, ‘oh my God, Donald Trump is a mad man, you can’t understand what he’s doing.’”

Senators Cotton & Graham Work To Sabotage Chances Of Iran Deal

 

Senators Tom Cotton (R-AR) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC), two of the most hawkish members of Congress, are working together to sabotage the Trump administration’s chances of reaching a deal with Iran.

 

On Thursday, the senators held a press conference outlining a resolution they’re introducing that demands that any deal with Iran must include the total dismantlement of Tehran’s nuclear enrichment program, an idea that Iranian officials have made clear is a non-starter.

 

"To the Iranian regime: you claim all you want is a peaceful nuclear power program. You can have it, but you cannot enrich and you must dismantle," Graham said. "And you must dismantle now."

 

Graham and Cotton said that any deal must require ratification from the Senate and must also impose limits on Iran’s ballistic missile program and support for its allies in the region, conditions that are also a non-starter for Tehran.

 

"A treaty with Iran in this space is only possible if you get 67 votes," Graham said. "You’re not going to get 67 votes for a treaty regarding their nuclear program unless they deal with the missile program and their terrorism activity. So is it possible? Yes, if Iran changes."

 

The senators also repeated President Trump’s threat that if there is no deal, the US will attack Iran."

 

"Iran can either have a nuclear program that’s lying in ruins, smoking, destroyed, and dismantled, or it can have a peaceful civilian nuclear power program with no centrifuges, no enriching, no re-processing, and no pathway to a nuclear weapon," he said.

 

Trump has been threatening to bomb Iran over its nuclear program even though his intelligence agencies recently reaffirmed that there’s no evidence Tehran is building a bomb or that Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has reversed his ban on the development of nuclear weapons.

 

Iran is currently enriching some uranium at 20% and 60%, which is still lower than the 90% needed for weapons-grade. Tehran has made clear that it’s willing to bring enrichment levels back down to 3.67%, the limit imposed by the JCPOA.

FDA Approves Three Food Colors from Natural Sources

 

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration today announced it granted three new color additive petitions that will expand the palette of available colors from natural sources for manufacturers to safely use in food.

 

The FDA is in line with U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s priority to phase out petroleum-based dyes in the nation’s food supply as part of the administration’s broader initiative to Make America Healthy Again.

 

“Today we take a major step to Make America Healthy Again,” said HHS Secretary Kennedy. "For too long, our food system has relied on synthetic, petroleum-based dyes that offer no nutritional value and pose unnecessary health risks. We’re removing these dyes and approving safe, natural alternatives—to protect families and support healthier choices.”

The color additive petitions approved today are for:

 

Galdieria extract blue, a blue color derived from the unicellular red algae Galdieria sulphuraria. The FDA has approved the color additive for use in nonalcoholic beverages and beverage bases, fruit drinks, fruit smoothies, fruit juices, vegetable juices, dairy-based smoothies, milk shakes and flavored milks, yogurt drinks, milk-based meal replacement and nutritional beverages, breakfast cereal coatings, hard candy, soft candy and chewing gum, flavored frostings, ice cream and frozen dairy desserts, frozen fruits, water ices and popsicles, gelatin desserts, puddings and custards, and whipped cream, yogurt, frozen or liquid creamers (including non-dairy alternatives), and whipped toppings (including non-dairy alternatives). The petition was submitted by the French company Fermentalg.

Butterfly pea flower extract, a blue color that can be used to achieve a range of shades including bright blues, intense purple, and natural greens. Produced through the water extraction of the dried flower petals of the butterfly pea plant, this color additive is already approved for use in sport drinks, fruit drinks, fruit and vegetable juices, alcoholic beverages, dairy drinks, ready to drink teas, nutritional beverages, gums, candy, coated nuts, ice creams, and yogurt. Today’s approval of a petition by St. Louis-based Sensient Colors LLC expands the approved use for coloring ready-to-eat cereals, crackers, snack mixes, hard pretzels, plain potato chips (restructured or baked), plain corn chips, tortilla chips, and multigrain chips.

Calcium phosphate, a white color approved for use in ready-to-eat chicken products, white candy melts, doughnut sugar, and sugar for coated candies. The petition was filed by Innophos Inc. of Cranbury, New Jersey.

Under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (Chapter VII, section 721), color additives are subject to FDA approval to determine whether they are safe before they may be used in food. The FDA determines whether an additive is safe to use by considering the projected human dietary exposure to the color additive, the additive’s toxicological data, and other relevant information, such as published literature. Once the FDA approves a color additive petition, any manufacturer can use the coloring for the approved uses.

 

The FDA, an agency within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, protects the public health by assuring the safety, effectiveness, and security of human and veterinary drugs, vaccines and other biological products for human use, and medical devices. The agency also is responsible for the safety and security of our nation’s food supply, cosmetics, dietary supplements, radiation-emitting electronic products, and for regulating tobacco products.

Federal lawsuit accuses UCLA Medical School of racial discrimination against Asians and Whites

 

A federal class-action lawsuit accuses UCLA's medical school and various university officials of using race as a factor in admissions, despite a state law and Supreme Court ruling striking down affirmative action.

 

The lawsuit, filed Thursday in California’s Central District federal court, was brought by the activist group Do No Harm, founded in 2022 to fight affirmative action in medicine; Students for Fair Admissions, the nonprofit that won its suit at the Supreme Court against Harvard’s affirmative action program; and Kelly Mahoney, a college graduate who was rejected from UCLA's David Geffen School of Medicine.

 

According to the lawsuit, the legal action was being taken to stop the medical school and UCLA officials from allegedly "engaging in intentional discrimination on the basis of race and ethnicity in the admissions process."

 

UCLA's medical school did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

 

Citing unnamed "whistleblowers," the lawsuit alleges that Jennifer Lucero, the associate dean for admissions, "requires applicants to submit responses that are intended to allow the Committee to glean the applicant’s race, which the medical school later confirms via interviews."

 

It also alleges that Lucero and admissions committee members "routinely and openly" discussed race and used it as a factor to make admission decisions.

 

Lucero did not immediately respond to an emailed request to comment.

 

“Do No Harm is fighting for all the students who have been racially discriminated against by UCLA under the guise of political progress,” Dr. Stanley Goldfarb, chairman of Do No Harm, said in a news release. "All medical schools must abide by the law of the land and prioritize merit, not immutable characteristics, in admissions."

 

The lawsuit comes as UCLA and other UC campuses are facing scrutiny by the Trump administration for potential “illegal DEI” in admissions practices.

 

The Department of Justice in late March said it would investigate UCLA, UC Irvine, Stanford and UC Berkeley, suggesting the schools flouted state law and U.S. Supreme Court precedent banning the use of race as a factor when evaluating college applicants.

 

A UC spokesperson said in a statement about the March investigation that UC stopped using race in admissions when Proposition 209 — which bans consideration of race in public education, hiring and contracting — went into effect in 1997. Since then, “UC has implemented admissions practices to comply with the law.”

 

Separately at the time, the Department of Health and Human Services said it was investigating an unnamed “major medical school in California to determine whether it discriminates on the basis of race, color, or national origin in its admissions. An HHS official previously told The Times that the investigation centered on the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine.

 

In response to that March announcement, UCLA said "we will be fully cooperating with their investigation."

 

The lawsuit Thursday alleges that Lucero and the admissions committee routinely admit Black applicants with below-average GPA and MCAT, or Medical College Admission Test scores, "while requiring whites and Asians to have near-perfect scores to even be seriously considered."

 

According to the lawsuit, Do No Harm has at least one member who applied to Geffen, was rejected and "is able and ready to reapply if a court orders Defendants to stop discriminating and to undo the effects of its past discrimination." Students for Fair Admissions has at least one member who will apply to the medical school.

 

"In this race-based system," the lawsuit alleges, "all applicants are deprived of their right to equal treatment and the opportunity to pursue their lifelong dream of becoming a doctor because of utterly arbitrary criteria."

Deep blue state is swinging 'aggressively to the right' and there's polling to prove its residents are fed up

 

One of America's most Democratic states is experiencing a dramatic shift to the right for the first time in decades.

 

A new poll has found New York could be competitive for Republicans as candidates eye challenging unpopular Democratic Governor Kathy Hochul who is running for reelection in 2026.

 

A GrayHouse poll found that just 36 percent approve of New York Governor Kathy Hochul's performance and 55 percent disapprove.

 

'Kathy Hochul's numbers have imploded,' a New York Republican political operative told the Daily Mail, pointing to the devastating approval numbers for her in a state that is primarily comprised of Democrats.

 

Even President Trump has a higher approval rating than Hochul in the heavily Democratic state - with 43 percent approving and 56 percent disapproving.

 

The poll of 826 registered voters in New York was conducted between April 22 and 28 with a 4 point margin of error.

 

Political consultants were dazzled by President Donald Trump's increased voter share in New York in the 2024 election, and are excited by indications that the rightward realignment can continue.

 

Rampant crime, out-of-control immigration, and corruption has seen support swinging towards the Republicans as Empire State residents grow frustrated with the lack of accountability after decades of single party political leadership.

 

The state's Democratic leadership has faced a popularity slide on the back of radical left wing policies, such as draconian Covid restrictions and soft-on-crime policing.

 

Republicans have been reaping the benefits of the realignment.

 

The Republican Party gained Hispanic, Black, Asian-American voters as suburbanites and working class voters responded to their message of tougher enforcement of crime and immigration, and promising to address the cost of living and inflation.

 

Trump shocked the state after he only lost by 13 points to Kamala Harris, increasing his voter share in 2024 by 11 points.

 

The last time New York voted for a Republican president was Ronald Reagan in 1984, 40 years ago.

 

Trump gained more than 600,000 votes in New York between the 2016 and 2024 elections. Harris' margin of victory was the narrowest of Democratic presidential candidates since 1992.

 

In 2022, Republicans flipped all four congressional seats away from Democrats, helping give House Republicans the majority in Washington, DC.

 

Republican candidate for governor Rep. Lee Zeldin came within 6 points of defeating Hochul as the final tally was 47 percent to 53 percent.

 

Republicans are anticipating a rematch with Hochul as her approval ratings are weaker than ever.

 

'The rightward shift of New York, in particular New York City, has been happening since 2006,' GrayHouse pollster Landon Wall told the Daily Mail.

 

Wall indicated that Trump's gains in New York City could even help a potential future Republican candidate.

 

But the newfound excitement from Republicans in the state is bigger than just Donald Trump.

 

'There's this energy and this desire for something counter to the one party rule in New York that is separate from the Trump effect,' Wall said.

 

Sixty percent of voters statewide say it's 'time for someone new,' including 75 percent of Independents and even 34 percent of Democrats.

 

The poll shows that rising Republican star Elise Stefanik, 40, is within striking distance of Hochul if she decides to run a campaign for governor.

 

Forty-six percent of voters said they would vote for Hohul, while Stefanik would earn 40 percent of the vote. Fourteen percent of voters were undecided.

 

That's a strong start for Stefanik to consider the race, as she has not even announced a campaign.

 

Stefanik has a clear lead with Republicans in the state, with 44 percent of primary voters signaled their support for a potential run for governor.

 

Only seven percent chose Rep. Mike Lawler and Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman.

 

In an interview with the Daily Mail, Stefanik indicated she was seriously considering a run for governor.

 

'If you look at the past few election cycles, New York is moving toward the Republican direction, and I believe that's a result of single party failed Democrat rule led by Kathy Hochul,' she said.

 

Originally selected by Trump to serve as his Ambassador to the U.N., the president withdrew her nomination so that she could remain in the House of Representatives where Republicans are clinging to a slim majority.

 

But that hasn't stopped her political momentum. Stefanik is stepping up the number of events in the state and has strong support for a run.

 

'I'm gonna fight for New Yorkers like I always do. We are crisscrossing the state… we are hearing an outpouring of support importantly not just from Republicans, but from Independents and Democrats as well. It has been overwhelming. New Yorkers want to fire Kathy Hochul,' she said.

 

Trump's performance in the state, his rallies, and events only helped increase the number of Republican supporters, she said.

 

'The trends are only continuing. You look at President Donald Trump's outcome on Election Day in New York, he did better in some parts of the city than any Republican in decades,' she said.

 

New York's gubernatorial election will take place on November 3, 2026.
