Putin-Trump meeting ‘imminent’ – White House official

A face-to-face conversation between the two presidents would help seal the peace deal between Moscow and Kiev, Sebastian Gorka has said

US President Donald Trump will meet his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin to help Russia and Ukraine finalize a peace agreement,a deputy assistant to Trump, Sebastian Gorka, has said. The meeting between the two leaders is “imminent” he told a security summit organized by Politico.

“Deals are all about timing. When the time is right, that’s when the president is in the room with Putin,” he stated, while maintaining that the right moment is “imminent.” He did not elaborate and did not provide any further details about a possible meeting between Putin and Trump.

Trump is currently on a tour through Middle East, and has mulled going to Türkiye on Friday “if something happened.” Moscow’s and Kiev’s delegations were expected to hold discussions there after Putin suggested resuming the Istanbul talks which were broken off three years ago.

Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky responded to Putin’s call by declaring that he would personally fly to Türkiye and demanded that the Russian president do the same.The Kremlin answered by saying that the Russian president had no plan to travel to the country. Trump then said on Thursday that Putin had no reason to go, since the US leader himself had not committed to going.

Moscow has said that its core agenda for the Istanbul talks remains unchanged from 2022, as it believes that a lasting peace can only be achieved by addressing the conflict’s root causes, including Ukraine’s desire to join NATO.

Zelensky initially insisted on Putin personally coming to the talks before deciding to send a delegation led by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov to Istanbul. According to TASS, the meeting between the two sides is now expected to start on Friday.

The Trump administration has been actively pushing both sides to engage in peace negotiations since he took office in January. The US president has recently expressed frustration over the slow pace of the process and demanded both sides engage in direct talks.

Ukrainian charged in arson attack on British PM’s home

Police have confirmedno injuries occurred during the three separate incidents in north London

A Ukrainian national has been charged with multiple counts of arson following a series of fires, including one at a property owned by UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, the Metropolitan Police have confirmed.

In a statement issued on Thursday,police said Roman Lavrynovych, 21, faces three counts of arson with intent to endanger life. The charges relate to separate incidents on Saturday, May 11 and Sunday, May 12, involving a vehicle fire, a blaze at the entrance of a property, and another fire at a different residential address.

Lavrynovych was arrested on Tuesday and has remained in custody since his detention. The authorities stated he is scheduled to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Friday.

According to police, one of the fires occurred at Starmer’s private residence in north London, which he retains despite living with his family at 10 Downing Street. While the entrance to the property sustained damage, no injuries were reported.

Ukraine talks won’t progress unless ‘Putin and I get together’ – Trump

The US president had previously suggested he might attend peace negotiations in Istanbul

US President Donald Trump has said that only a personal meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin will lead to progress in resolving the Ukraine conflict.

Delegations from Moscow and Kiev were expected to meet in Istanbul on May 15, following Putin’s proposal last week to resume direct dialogue aimed at a lasting settlement. The Kremlin team waited for Kiev’s representatives to arrive beginning on Thursday morning. Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky announced later in the day that he was sending a delegation led by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.The talks have reportedly been pushed back to Friday.

Trump, who earlier urged Kiev to accept Putin’s proposal “immediately,” told reporters on Thursday, “Nothing’s going to happen until Putin and I get together.”

Speaking aboard Air Force One en route to the UAE, Trump suggested Putin had not planned to travel to Türkiye because Trump himself had not publicly committed to attending.

“He wasn’t going if I wasn’t there,” Trump said. “But we’re going to have to get this off, because too many people are dying.”

Earlier this week, the US president floated the idea of joining the Istanbul talks but later downplayed the possibility, citing a full schedule.

On Thursday morning, he told journalists, “If something happened, I’d go on Friday if it was appropriate.”

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said there were no preparations underway for a meeting between the Russian and US leaders in the near future. The Kremlin has announced that Putin has no plans to travel to Türkiye.(Well they are run by CI in Moscow. The meeting with Trump and Putin was planned a long time ago.)

Kiev is ready to derail negotiations with Russia, Andrey Telizhenko has told RT

Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky seeks to make a “political show” out of the expected peace talks with Russia in Istanbul, even if it means disrupting the negotiations, former Ukrainian diplomat Andrey Telizhenko has told RT.

Russian chief negotiator Vladimir Medinsky said he would be waiting for the Ukrainian team starting at 10 a.m. local time on Friday, for the first direct talks since 2022. During a visit to Ankara on Thursday, Zelensky criticized what he described as the “low-level” composition of the Russian delegation, but nevertheless promised to dispatch his own negotiators to Istanbul.

Telizhenko told RT thatZelensky has been relying on France and the UK for weapons and financial aid because he “does not listen to Washington anymore.” If the Ukrainian leader secures more support from the West, he “may agree and move forward with the negotiations, or he may sabotage them,”the ex-diplomat said, expressing doubts that real talks could “ever happen.”

“This is just a political show, not diplomacy,” he said. “Zelensky is not thinking about Ukrainians. He is trying to play this game for himself,”Telizhenko argued.

Russian and Ukrainian delegations were initially expected to meet in Istanbul on Thursday after President Vladimir Putin proposed resuming direct talks without any preconditions. According to Moscow, the negotiations should resume from the process that was interrupted in the spring of 2022, when Ukraine abruptly walked away from the table.

Zelensky initially ruled out any negotiations with Moscow unless Russia agreed to a 30-day ceasefire. Moscow has argued that Kiev would use such a truce to rearm and regroup its forces. Putin has said that, for a lasting ceasefire, Ukraine must halt its mobilization campaign and stop receiving weapons from abroad.

NATO hit by corruption scandal

Multiple countries have launched corruption investigations into the US-led alliance’s procurement

Police have conducted arrests and searches in several countries as part of acorruption investigation involving current and former employees of the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA).

The raids, coordinated by Eurojust – the EU’s criminal justice agency – took place in Luxembourg, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, and the US. The alliance told Luxembourg Times on Wednesday that NSPA’s main headquarters in the Grand Duchy had initiated the probe.(isn’t Von De Leyen from Luxembourg?)

“NATO – including the NSPA – is working closely with law enforcement to ensure that perpetrators are brought to justice,”spokeswoman Allison Hart said. “We are actively strengthening our ability to mitigate risks and root out misconduct,” she added.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte told reporters in Ankara on Thursday that the military bloc was working with the authorities. “We want to get to the root of this,” Rutte said.

The public prosecutor’s office in Luxembourg said that documents wereseized pertaining to suspicions that NSPA staffers had “used their positions to enrich themselves.”

Two people were arrested in Belgium, and three in the Netherlands, officials said.

Belgian prosecutors stated that the investigation centers around “possible irregularities in awarding contracts to defence contractors for the purchase of military equipment for NATO such as ammunition and drones.” The probe also looks at possible sharing of confidential information by NSPA employees with defense companies and money laundering.

The Dutch authorities said they arrested a former official with the Dutch Defense Ministry at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol on Monday. The former civil servant is suspected oftaking bribes in 2023 regarding the awarding of defense contracts.(Rutte took over in that year, or shortly into 2024)

The investigation takes place as NATO members are looking for ways to boost their own defense and produce more weapons to be delivered to Ukraine. In March, the European Commission unveiled a plan to raise €800 billion ($896 billion) to “rearm” the EU.

Buffett Liquidated Citigroup, Dumped Financial Stocks As US Entered Trade War : Full 13F Breakdown

Warren Buffett already stunned the Berkshire faithful with his "shocking" announcement last weekend that the 94 year old billionaire was, gasp, finally retiring as CEO of the $1 trillion+ conglomerate. Luckily, there were no surprises in Buffett's latest 13F filing published at the close today: while Buffett did not add any new positions in the quarter that preceded Trump’s trade war, he did liquidate two of his previous large holdings, and continued to trim positions in financial stocks while adding to a handful others.

Buffett started off the last year of his tenure as CEO of Berkshire by exiting his once-huge position in Citigroup, while also shrinking his holdings in Capital One Financial and continuing to trim his longtime stake in Bank of America.

While it is still a top 5 position valued at $26.4 billion at the end of Q1, Buffett started selling his BofA stake in July last year, without providing any explanation for the move. He now owns 8.3% of the US lender and is no longer its biggest shareholder, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.

Berkshire also fully liquidated its stake in Brazil’s Nubank, which has grown into one of the world’s biggest digital banks since its 2013 founding. Berkshire bought a $500 million stake before the bank went public in 2021. The stock has gained 46% since.

On the plus side, Buffett added to his stake in Constellation Brands, which now totals 6.6%, or $2.2 billion; he opened the new position in the alcohol distributor in the last quarter of 2024. He also bought more Sirius XM Holdings and Occidental Petroleum, where he is by far the largest holder with 27% of the shares outstanding. In addition, the company requested confidentiality treatment from the Securities and Exchange Commission, meaning Berkshire was allowed to omit one of more holdings in its filing Thursday.

After aggressively selling down his stake in Apple for much of 2023 and 2024, his AAPL shares were untouched in Q1 and still represents the billionaire’s portfolio’s most valuable holding.

Multiple countries have launched corruption investigations into the US-led alliance’s procurement system==

Police have conducted arrests and searches in several countries as part of a corruption investigation involving current and former employees of the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA).

The raids, coordinated by Eurojust – the EU’s criminal justice agency – took place in Luxembourg, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, and the US. The alliance told Luxembourg Times on Wednesday that NSPA’s main headquarters in the Grand Duchy had initiated the probe.

“NATO – including the NSPA – is working closely with law enforcement to ensure that perpetrators are brought to justice,” spokeswoman Allison Hart said. “We are actively strengthening our ability to mitigate risks and root out misconduct,” she added.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte told reporters in Ankara on Thursday that the military bloc was working with the authorities. “We want to get to the root of this,” Rutte said.

The public prosecutor’s office in Luxembourg said that documents were seized pertaining to suspicions that NSPA staffers had “used their positions to enrich themselves.”

Two people were arrested in Belgium, and three in the Netherlands, officials said. Belgian prosecutors stated that the investigation centers around “possible irregularities in awarding contracts to defence contractors for the purchase of military equipment for NATO such as ammunition and drones.” The probe also looks at possible sharing of confidential information by NSPA employees with defense companies and money laundering.

The Dutch authorities said they arrested a former official with the Dutch Defense Ministry at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol on Monday. The former civil servant is suspected of taking bribes in 2023 regarding the awarding of defense contracts.

The investigation takes place as NATO members are looking for ways to boost their own defense and produce more weapons to be delivered to Ukraine. In March, the European Commission unveiled a plan to raise €800 billion ($896 billion) to “rearm” the EU.

The U.S. military has offered a recently incarcerated James Comey a plea deal: No death sentence in exchange for future testimony against the Deep State’s preeminent architect, Barack Hussein Obama.

As reported previously, U.S. Marines on April 20 raided Comey’s posh Mansion in McClean, Va., where they arrested the traitor and shipped him to Camp Lejeune, N.C. There, the military has been interrogating him in advance of his eventual trip to Guantanamo Bay to stand before a military tribunal.

A confidential source involved in Trump’s operation to invalidate the 2020 election and arrest the traitors told RRN that Trump agreed to remove capital punishment from the table if, and only if, Comey signs an attestation linking Obama to the tragic deaths of 16 patriots. According to the military, Barack Obama had on July 31, 2013 authorized an airstrike against a Colorado militia group after learning its members had obtained photographic evidence of guillotines being installed at FEMA camps in Colorado, Nebraska, and Wyoming.

The militia members, the military claims, had gathered at a secluded safehouse in northwest Colorado to discuss methods of disseminating their evidence without endangering themselves and their families. Unbeknownst to them, an Obama spy had, apparently, infiltrated their ranks and communicated knowledge of the meeting to the Obama hierarchy. As the meeting progressed, an F-16 receiving instructions from Cheyenne Mountain homed in on the safehouse and released a pair of Mark 83 1000-lb bombs. The resulting explosion laid waste the area and killed everyone in attendance, including women and one child.

After an exhaustive search, RRN was unable to find evidence of the aforementioned attack. There are no public records of explosions or forest fires in northwest Colorado that day. Nor have members of the three-percenters, the militia group named on military records, ever spoken publicly on the attack.

“The Deep State are masters of coverups and deception, and their reach is unlimited. They could have threatened people into silence. Look what’s happening now, even the Oath Keepers are flipping and ratting one another. Trump thinks it’s legit. And the military, it seems, has evidence. And they must think Comey can put the nail in Obama’s coffin,” our source said.

The question is, will Comey talk, or is his fear of his Deep State masters greater than his fear of the hangman’s noose.

The U.S. military has arrested disgraced former FBI Director James Comey on charges of treason, sedition, obstruction of justice, and aiding and abetting persons actively involved in criminal behavior, Real Raw News has learned.

Donald J. Trump greenlit the Tuesday morning raid on Comey’s lavish, suburban home after speaking to Marine Corps Col. John Lynch, commanding officer of the Marine Raider regiment at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Col. Lynch committed at least two 4-man squads to the mission, said a confidential source involved in Trump’s quest to depose Joseph Biden and restore America to the people.
