A point to emphasize.

 

Current Secretary of State and National Security Advisor, Marco Rubio, was chair of the senate select committee on intelligence (SSCI) and a Gang of Eight member since day one of the Russia-Ukraine conflict.Due to his role in the Gang of Eight Senator Rubio was briefed on all the covert activities being carried out in Ukraine by the CIA and Pentagon.

 

That is why when Secretary of State Marco Rubio told media months ago that “Ukraine was a proxy war for the United States against Russia,” it was a jaw-dropping statement.If anyone would know the receipts, it’s the former Chair of the SSCI, who became the Secretary of State. However,to say the truth so openly and publicly was something entirely unexpected, especially from Rubio.

 

As Secretary of State Rubio represented President Trump’s America-First foreign policy and national security interests very effectively,many people were shocked at the seemingly 180° degree turn Rubio took to represent the MAGA perspectives. Rubio adroitly navigated the media with exceptional support for President Trump’s positions, and diplomatic action to back it up.

 

While most of us continue watching Rubio closely, obviously President Trump saw the unique perspectives held by the former Senator on intelligence matters.President Trump then appointed Rubio to a dual role as National Security Advisor and Secretary of State.

 

While the Secretary of State represents the public face of President Trump’s diplomatic policy toward the world,the Nat Sec Advisory represents President Trump’s outward view to the global intelligence network. Marco Rubio now carries both extremely important titles and responsibilities.

 

Keeping in mind the prior statements by Rubio about Ukraine being a proxy state for U.S. operations against Russia,both Marco Rubio and President Trump have been mostly silent and very measured in their comments about Russiaafter the Ukraine attack on the Russian nuclear-capable bombers.

 

Obviously, both Secretary Rubio and President Trump know the Senate control of the BBB is unfortunate timing for their solutions to the Ukraine-Russia war. Their solution is likely to be something the Senate will not like.The Senate will never publicly admit that Ukraine is a U.S. proxy war against Russia.

 

However, while the Senate needs to retain these ridiculous pretenses, ultimately Russian President Vladimir Putin does not.Putin is well aware of the USA support level, open and covert, taking place within Ukraine. This is the context for all of President Trump’s communication with Putin.

 

You can even pull that context out of President Trump’s statementfollowing his recent conversation with President Putin, “it was a good conversation, but not a conversation that will lead to immediate Peace.”The key word there is “immediate.” The implication is that Peace can be achieved but some forward factors need to be addressed first.

 

We are in this weird place where parts of our government (Senate and media) are pretending the Russia-Ukraine conflict is something, while simultaneously part of our government (executive) are clear-eyed and not pretending.

 

The pretending part of our government now holds a key piece of President Trump’s domestic agenda, the Big Beautiful Bill, in their control.President Trump and Marco Rubio are careful not to apply pressure that could weaken their geopolitical objective with Russia.

 

Again, the 2025 Marco Rubio is not a familiar person who have followed republican politics.Rubio has been one of the biggest positive surprises of the administration so far. In a position of such importance to President Trump, and with this level of responsibility being used effectively,Rubio is well positioned to achieve support in 2028.

Lutnick responds by revealing that they cut “programs writing children’s books for climate anxiety” 😂

 

Reed’s only response was to asking, “how much money did you save then?”

 

Lutnick: “We saved tens of millions of dollars on nonsense out of NOAA! Nonsense out of NOAA!”

On Thursday, business titan Elon Musk and President Donald Trump went after each other with a vengeance very publicly following Musk’s vocal rejection of the Republican Party’s One Big Beautiful Bill (OBBB).

 

For several days Elon Musk has made public his disdain for the One Big Beautiful Bill that President Trump is pushing to cut taxes, cut the trade deficit, keep power away from Democrats, and bring jobs to America.

 

Today, tension between Trump and Elon Musk boiled over after the President responded to Elon’s trashing of the Big Beautiful Bill and its spending levels, sparking a very public feud between the two business giants.

 

Things really went off the rails when Elon Musk accused President Trump of being involved in the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.

 

Elon followed up the tweet with “Mark this post for the future. The truth will come out.”

 

But Elon was not done yet. Musk later tweeted out video of President Trump speaking with Jeffrey Epstein at a Nar-a-Lago party in 1992 with NFL cheerleaders.

Schoen then followed up that tweet on X with a retweet of Roger Stone, adding,"I can tell you unequivocally as someone who would know that President Trump never did anything wrong with Jeffrey Epstein."

 

This makes complete sense. If Trump's was involved in the Epstein scandal the deep state would have leaked it all over the internet years ago.

New sabotage derails Russian locomotive near Ukraine

A diesel locomotive derailed in Russia’s Belgorod Region on Friday morning after an explosive device planted under the tracks damaged the rails, according to Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov.

The incident follows what Moscow described as two Ukrainian “terrorist attacks” on railroad infrastructure last week in the border regions of Bryansk and Kursk, which killed seven people and injured more than 100, including children.

 

“According to preliminary information, there were no casualties as a result of the explosive device planted under the rails.

Train traffic was delayed for 2.5 hours. But now all trains are already running according to schedule,” Gladkov wrote in a post on his Telegram channel at around 6:50am.

 

Repair crews were quickly dispatched to restore the affected section in the Prokhorovsky District of the region, the governor said, noting that he had been personally affected by the delays.

“My train only reached Prokhorovka due to the bombing of the railway tracks,” he said in a video message. “Thank God that no one was injured, but there is damage.”

 

On Wednesday, a similar case of railway sabotage occurred in Voronezh Region near the Ukrainian border, halting rail traffic and delaying more than 20 trains.

Moscow has blamed Kiev for the recent string of incidents, following a ramp-up in Ukrainian drone raids and other attacks on Russian territory.

President Vladimir Putin called the deadly train sabotage in the two border regions “undoubtedly a terrorist act,” aimed at disrupting direct US-backed peace talks between the two countries.

Leaked Ukrainian peace terms differ from version presented to Moscow

The memorandum Ukraine handed to Russia during Monday’s peace talks in Istanbul was not the same as the version leaked to Western media, RT has learned.

A key clause rejecting any limits on Ukraine’s armed forces – present in the leaked draft – was missing from the official proposal received by the Russian delegation.

 

The revelation casts new doubt over Kiev’s public stance and suggests a possible divergence between Ukraine’s media messaging and its negotiating position behind closed doors.

According to a source, who reviewed the Ukrainian memorandum submitted at the Turkish meeting, the document omitted a paragraph found in the version published earlier this week by Reuters.

That paragraph explicitly ruled out any restrictions on the size or deployment of Ukraine’s military forces or those of its allies.

 

The Reuters draft stated: “No restrictions may be imposed on the number, deployment, or other parameters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as on the deployment of troops of friendly foreign states on the territory of Ukraine.”

That language does not appear in the version reviewed by RT’s source.

 

The talks in Istanbul marked the second round of direct negotiations between Russia and Ukraine in less than a month.

Moscow’s proposal reportedly called on Kiev to recognize the loss of five territories that voted to join Russia in referendums, withdraw Ukrainian forces from those regions, commit to neutrality, and accept limitations on its military capacity.

 

On Wednesday, Ukraine's Vladimir Zelensky dismissed Moscow’s proposal out of hand, calling it “an ultimatum.”

“This memorandum is a misunderstanding,” he said, adding that the Istanbul process had become “meaningless.”

 

Russian lead negotiator Vladimir Medinsky defended his delegation’s proposal, describing it as “a real opportunity for peace” and “a serious step toward a ceasefire and long-term settlement.”

The discrepancy between the two versions of Ukraine’s memorandum is likely to raise fresh questions in Moscow about the sincerity of Kiev’s approach to negotiations. No date has been set for a third round of talks.

Chris Cuomo recently dropped a bombshell theory—and it makes complete sense. If he’s right, this feud could explode into something much bigger.

 

Elon Musk alleged on Thursday, “@realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That’s the real reason they haven’t been made public.”

 

He said this shortly after Trump posted that Musk was “wearing thin” and that he “asked him to leave,” adding Musk went “crazy” after losing the EV mandate.

 

But Musk didn’t stop there.

 

At 4:14 PM Eastern, he quote-tweeted a post linking Trump to Jeffrey Epstein. His only comment? A single raised eyebrow emoji.

 

The post claimed Trump flew on Epstein’s plane at least 7 times, though there’s no proof he visited the island.

 

It also highlighted a 2002 New York Magazine quote where Trump described Epstein as “a terrific guy” who “likes beautiful women… on the younger side.”

Again, Musk kept pushing the subject.

 

At 4:43 PM Eastern, he quote-tweeted a second post with another raised eyebrow emoji—this time on a post by @chesschick01 that read:

 

“In 1992, Trump partied with Jeffrey Epstein. Just gonna leave this here:”

 

Musk’s behavior left NewsNation host and attorneyChris Cuomo visibly baffled as he opened his show Thursday night.

 

“I just don’t know what his leverage is, to be honest,” Cuomo said.

 

“I mean, unless he’s got the proof that he has the files… I don’t know what he’s thinking.”

 

Meanwhile, Trump has stayed completely silent on Musk’s Epstein accusation. His most recent post on Truth Social made no mention of it, despite the virality of the claim.

 

Instead, Trump doubled down on why he believes the Big Beautiful Bill must be passed:

 

“I don’t mind Elon turning against me, but he should have done so months ago. This is one of the Greatest Bills ever presented to Congress. Why is Trump silent? Is it because he is guilty?

Not so fast, said Chris Cuomo. He believes Trump’s silence could mean a massive defamation lawsuit is coming.

Chris Cuomo thinks this whole thing could get very ugly—and fast.

“Trump hasn’t responded. Some are taking this as an admission.Not me,” Cuomo said.

“I think, again, unless Musk does some serious ass-kissing on the quick, Trump is going to sue him for defamation,” he added.

“And if Trump sues, I THINK HE WINS.”

Chris Cuomo laid it out in plain terms.

He said he’s not usually a fan of Trump using lawsuits,adding that he didn’t even like it when Trump “threatened to sue [his] parents for giving birth to [him].”

But this situation, he said, is different.

The legal standard for defamation is high, especially with public figures.

Cuomo explained that to win, Trump would have to prove Elon Musk acted with “actual malice”—meaning he either knew what he said was false or didn’t care whether it was true.

He had access, connections, and clearances, Cuomo said, adding that his DOGE guys were “digging through everything.”==

Trump is no stranger to big lawsuits. He recently filed a $20 billion suit against CBS News over claims of deceptive editing.

If Trump can prove the accusation is false and that Musk knew it was false, Cuomo believes he could walk away with a “humongous award.”

Russia Says Killed Man Attempting Drone Attack on Military Site

Russia's National Guard said Friday it had killed a man it caught trying to launch an attack on a military site using drones packed with grenades.

The incident came after Ukraine carried out an audacious coordinated drone attack on Russian airbases this week that damaged billions of dollars' worth of nuclear-capable military planes.

 

The National Guard said it detected a man "preparing a terrorist attack using a drone" at a military facility in the Ryazan region, southeast of Moscow.

"During the arrest, the criminal gave armed resistance and was neutralized," the agency said in a statement.

 

It published surveillance footage of a hooded man crouched in a field trying to launch a drone before being chased by armed officers. It does not show him being shot.

In the attack last Sunday, Ukraine smuggled small, remote-operated quadcopter-style drones deep into Russian territory in false roofs of wooden cabins.

Loaded onto trucks, they were driven up close to Russian airbases and then released simultaneously to attack the sites.

IAEA chief condemns Ukraine strikes on Zaporozhye power plant

Attacks on the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant (ZNPP), Europe’s largest facility of its kind, are “unacceptable,” Rafael Grossi, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), has stated.

 

His remark came shortly after Russian authorities in the eponymous region reported multiple drone strikes on the ZNPP, blaming the Ukrainian military. Moscow has repeatedly accused Kiev of targeting the facility in the past.

 

The power plant was brought under Russian control in March 2022, shortly after which the region’s residents voted in a referendum to join Russia, which Ukraine has dismissed as a sham. Around the same time, the IAEA deployed a monitoring mission to the ZNPP, which has remained in-situ to date.

 

Speaking to reporters at Khrabrovo Airport in Russia’s Kaliningrad Region on Friday,Grossi insisted that “any attack on any nuclear power plant, in particular [the] Zaporozhye [NPP], is absolutely unacceptable.”

 

He stopped short of apportioning the blame for such incidents to either Ukraine or Russia, noting that the IAEA’s mandate is purely technical in nature.

 

Grossi argued, however, that the fact that the international watchdog is monitoring the situation and recording any attacks, is meant to act as a deterrent.

 

He was in Kaliningrad for a meeting with the CEO of Russia’s state-run nuclear corporation, Rosatom, Aleksey Likhachev,who described the talks as the “most multifaceted and meaningful” to date, during a press conference on Friday.

 

He emphasized the importance of IAEA’s mission at the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant, noting how it provides an “information window for the whole world into the real state of affairs.”This helps fight “provocations [and] fakes.”

 

In a statement on Thursday, the IAEA chief reported that the watchdog’s team stationed at the facilityhad “heard repeated rounds of gunfire that appeared to be aimed at drones reportedly attacking the site’s training center, followed by the sound of multiple explosions.”

 

Grossi stressed that “it was the fourth time this year that the training center, located just outside the site perimeter, was reportedly targeted by unmanned aerial vehicles.”

 

Drone attacks on the ZNPP “must stop immediately,” he insisted, warning of “potentially serious consequences.”

 

Also on Thursday, a statement appeared on the ZNPP’s Telegram channel,claiming the Ukrainian military had conducted multiple drone attacks on the training center located on the facility’s grounds, with no casualties or significant damage reported.

Behind the scenes: How Israeli intel uncovered Hezbollah’s drone network - interview

An intelligence officer, Lieutenant Colonel N., head of "Lebanon affairs" in the Israeli Air Force's intelligence division, has been tracking Hezbollah’s Unit 127 for over two years, the same unit the IDF attacked on Thursday in Beirut's southern suburb, Dahiyeh.

This unit is responsible for importing, manufacturing, and deploying various unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) from Lebanon into Israel.

 

During the war, the terrorists succeeded in striking locations within Israel and killing civilians and soldiers, most notably in the Golani base attack, which claimed soldiers' lives.

At the height of the northern conflict, Lt. Col. N. led efforts to uncover the secrets of this small Hezbollah unit, significantly disrupting its leadership, key figures, and infrastructure. About six weeks ago, he used intelligence gathered with his team to strike targets in Lebanon.

 

On Thursday, the Israeli Air Force launched a major attack in the heart of Dahiyeh targeting Unit 127’s drone infrastructure.

What has happened in recent months with Hezbollah’s Unit 127?

 

“Hezbollah took a significant beating over the course of the war and is now attempting to regroup by all means. They identified the threat posed by UAVs and invested heavily in them with Iranian support.

We detected the plans and their desire to increase production. We are trying to surround Hezbollah with a tightening ring—not only militarily, but also economically, particularly regarding their weapons access and mass production efforts,” the Israeli intelligence source said.

 

Why did you attack last night?

Lt. Col. N. responded: “There was compelling evidence of [the location of] sites involved in UAV manufacturing.

The operation was complicated because it took place in a civilian area—Hezbollah operates beneath the civilian population in Dahiyeh. They believed civilians would shield them, preventing us from attacking.

But thanks to our intelligence, we ensured extensive evacuations; no munitions were deployed before we confirmed that no civilians were present. We made a genuine effort to preserve human life while carrying out our strikes.”

 

What did you target?

“We hit seven targets: five in Beirut and two in southern Lebanon,” Lt. Col. N. confirmed.

“I believe they're trying to evade Israeli detection now. But there’s no magic solution for them. To build and deploy UAVs, they must go through several stages that we can detect and counter.

They assumed civilians would protect them, but we must constantly innovate against this cruel enemy,” the intelligence source stated.

 

What will the future hold?

“This is an ongoing contest. Our goal is always to remain one step ahead.

These strikes are the best form of defense - preventing the enemy from obtaining sufficient capabilities in numbers or quality to pose a real threat,” Lt. Col. N. said.

“So far, it’s quiet. Northern Israeli residents did not feel that the attack happened. We hope this calm continues.

“On Thursday, in the evening hours, a search operation by BSF troops led to the recovery of one DJI Mavic 3 Classic drone in damaged condition from a farming field adjacent to Rattankhurd village.

This morning, acting on a specific input, the BSF troops successfully recovered one packet of suspected heroin with a gross weight of 531 grams from a farming field adjacent to Balve Dariya village in Amritsar,” the BSF said in a statement.

The narcotics were wrapped with yellow adhesive tape, and an iron ring was also found attached to the packet.

Hong Kong police launch first drone patrols in urban areas

Hong Kong police have launched their first drone patrols in urban settings, with the unmanned aerial vehicles able to inspect an area the size of 13 football pitches in 25 minutes.

The force on Friday deployed a drone to cover a 96,000 square metre area around Yau Ma Tei and Jordan in Kowloon.

Carlos Shum Lap-chi, operations officer in Yau Tsim police district, said the patrol area bordered Dundas Street, Nathan Road and a section of Waterloo Road in Yau Ma Tei, as well as Ferry Street in Jordan.

“Our drone patrols can perform a few more rounds than [equivalent] ground patrols. The effectiveness is significant,” Shum said.

 

The patrol followed the launch of a three-month pilot scheme for drones to inspect the border and Kowloon West late last month.

As part of the pilot scheme, drone patrols in Yau Tsim, which covers Yau Ma Tei, Jordan and Tsim Sha Tsui, would first focus on crime hotspots, Shum said.

“The first phase of the drone patrols will focus on policing hotspots, such as crowded locations and ‘three-nil building’ areas with relatively lax security,” Shum said.

Three-nil buildings refer to those that do not have an owners’ corporation or any form of residents’ organisation, and do not employ a property management company. Some old residential tenement buildings fall into this category.

 

Shum said drone patrols would be rolled out to other crowded locations in the district in a second phase, but he did not outline when that would take place.

Two officers handle each drone patrol. Shum said such inspections would supplement existing ground operations, allowing residents to see a bolstered police presence.

Amanda Lui Ching-yin, police community relations officer in Yau Tsim, said officers held a briefing session for district councillors, members of the Fight Crime Committee and care team members on the new policy last week.

“We have sent letters to property management offices in the area to ensure they are well informed. We have also visited every security guard post in the area,” Lui said.

 

The force previously said drone patrols would not record any footage unless officers spotted suspicious activity that required investigation.

The patrols would also refrain from observing building interiors, with the drones flying above flats.

Yau Ma Tei residents said they were not concerned about the drones affecting their daily routines but were unsure about the effectiveness of patrols.

A Yau Ma Tei resident surnamed Tang, who is in his seventies, said that he had no privacy concerns about drones flying above buildings.

 

“It’s not a problem if it’s the government flying the drones. It’s not OK if they’re flown by private companies,” Tang said.

But the retiree was not sure how much crime a patrol would uncover. “It’s somewhat useful, I guess, maybe it can detect crime in 10 per cent of its patrols,” Tang said.

A Portland Street resident surnamed Lam expressed reservations about the drone patrols’ effectiveness.

“There are lots of prostitutes in the street where I live; maybe the police should sort them out first. It’s quite safe in this neighbourhood; I’ve only heard about one or two burglary cases last year,” said Lam, who is in her sixties.

Walmart expands drone delivery service to 3 more states in race against Amazon

Walmart is expanding its drone delivery service to three more states as it competes with Amazon to be the fastest delivery service.

In partnership with Google's Wing, Walmart is expanding the service to launch at 100 stores in Atlanta, Charlotte, Houston, Orlando and Tampa, building on the existing operations in Northwest Arkansas and Texas.

The retailer said that it's the first to scale this service across five states – Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Texas – underscoring its aim to become a leader in tech-enabled retail.

 

Wing flies its drones beyond visual line of sight of up to a 6-mile aircraft range from the store. The products arrive to customers in under 30 minutes, according to Walmart.

"People all around the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex have made drone delivery part of their normal shopping habits over the past year," the company said.

"Now we’re excited to share this ultra-fast delivery experience with millions more people across many more U.S. cities."

"This is real drone delivery at scale," said Wing CEO Adam Woodworth.

 

The company has conducted more than 150,00 drone deliveries since 2021 with Wing and drone delivery company Zipline.

Zipline initially partnered with Walmart in 2021 to deliver items in Arkansas before expanding its reach. Meanwhile, Walmart and Wing began their partnership in August 2023.

Aside from done delivery, Walmart also launched Express Delivery, which also delivers products in 30 minutes, Late-Night Delivery, and InHome Delivery, which is when items can be placed inside someone's refrigerator.

 

Meanwhile, Amazon has deployed its drone delivery services to eligible customers in College Station, Texas, and the West Valley of the Phoenix, Arizona, metro area. The company began testing its drone service in 2022.

The company said in a May blog post that "now that we've made the process more streamlined and seamless, we are excited to continue to scale the service to reach more customers in the months and years ahead."

 

Amazon has been ramping up the speed of its Prime delivery.

In a recent blog post, it said it set records for Prime delivery speeds in the first three months of 2024, with more than 2 billion items arriving the same or next day to Prime members around the world.

In March, nearly 60% of Prime member orders arrived the same or next day across the top 60 largest U.S. metro areas, according to Amazon.

Two arrested for attempted drone contraband drop at Washington State Prison

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ga. (WGXA) — Two women were arrested for attempting to drop contraband with a drone at Washington State Prison on Thursday.

According to Washington County Sheriff's Office, around 9:00 PM, deputies patrolling the Davisboro area were told about a suspicious vehicle on the ground of the the prison.

Deputies located the vehicle and made a traffic stop, where they found evidence of a potential contraband drop.

They searched the vehicle and found three ounces of meth, five ounces of MDMA, four pounds of marijuana, four pounds of tobacco, a knife, 11 cellphones with charges and a drone with its remote and batteries.

 

All items were seized and authorities arrested 27-year-old Kendra Yates of Duluth, Ga. and 22-year-old Viviona Smith of Auburn, Ga. Both were charged with the following;

Trafficking and Possession of Meth

Trafficking and Possession of MDMA

Possession of marijuana with intent

Possession of marijuana over and ounce

Eight counts of items prohibited by inmates

Unlawful use of an unmanned aircraft

Possession of Knife or firearm during commission of crime

Possession of tools during the commission of a crime

 

This marks another in a long list of attempted contraband drone drops at Washington State Prison in the past year.

However, Sheriff Joel Cochran says his deputies , in partnership with the Georgia Department of Corrections, will continue to stop anyone attempting to commit these crimes.

 

"Despite our repeated efforts—successfully thwarting attempt after attempt—individuals continue to try their hand at smuggling contraband into Washington State Prison.

Let us be clear: the Washington County Sheriff's Office, in partnership with the Georgia Department of Corrections, remains steadfast and vigilant.

Ukraine Scores More Hits On Airbase, Defense Factories Deep Inside Russia

 

Ukraine overnight targeted key Russian sites with more drone attacks, while simultaneously Russian cruise missiles were fired against Kiev and other regions of Ukraine, killing at least four and wounding twenty in the Ukrainian capital.

 

"Kyiv came under another attack involving drones and ballistic missiles. Rescuers are responding to the aftermath at several locations across the city," the State Emergency Service of Ukraine announced on Telegram. Russia allegedly fired over 400 projectiles into Ukraine, though most were said to be downed by air defenses. On the other side, two airbases, a fuel depot and aviation were reportedly struck deep in Russia overnight.

 

"A successful strike was carried out on the Engels airfield in the Saratov region, a place where enemy aircraft are concentrated," Ukraine’s General Staff said in a statement, in reference to the Engels-2 base which lies roughly 500 kilometers (300 miles) east of the Ukrainian border,

 

Several fuel tanks at the base were set ablaze, which dramatic images appeared to show following "multiple hits" on the site, per Ukrainian military statements.

 

Additionally, in the Ryazan Region, Ukraine said it targeted the Dyagilevo airbase, which supports Russian missile operations. The regional governor said the incoming drones were downed by anti-air defense systems.

 

And in the Tambov Region, drones reportedly targeted a high-tech aviation and missile control systems plant in Michurinsk. Ukrainian sources allege the plant is a military-industrial site, producing components for Russian missile and artillery systems.

‘We’re going to be covering the entire city with drones’: SFPD accepts billionaire’s $9.4M gift

The San Francisco Police Commission unanimously accepted a nearly $9.4 million donation Wednesday night to expand the police department’s drone program and add 10 new drone take-off sites.

“This is by far the largest one-time donation I think we’ve ever considered,” said police commissioner Kevin Benedicto. The Board of Supervisors will vote on the gift later this month.

 

The money will go to the Real Time Investigation Center (RTIC), which was founded shortly after the passing of Proposition E in March 2024, allowing the SPFD to expand its use of technology for crime detection and surveillance purposes.

The RTIC has since increased the number of surveillance cameras and drones to monitor crimes, a program that has assisted in over 500 arrests according to the SFPD.

 

The donation was proposed last week by Ripple Labs, a San Francisco-based crypto company run by billionaire Chris Larsen, and the San Francisco Police Community Foundation, a nonprofit that Larsen founded in 2023.

Larsen has been a long-time proponent of increasing the SFPD’s use of technology and donated $250,000 to the passing of Prop E.

 

Larsen’s prior donations via a nonprofit to install surveillance devices in San Francisco were compromised when SF SAFE purportedly misallocated his money. Former executive director Kyra Worthy is presently facing 34 felony charges.

Some $2 million of the latest donation will go toward paying for the lease of a 14,000-square-foot office space on Montgomery Street, formerly occupied by Ripple Labs.

According to Chief Bill Scott, the money will cover a 16-month lease, allowing RTIC to relocate from its headquarters in the decrepit Hall of Justice until a permanent location is decided on.

 

The remaining $7.4 million of donated funds will go toward expanding the city’s Drones as First Responder Program.

The money will come from Larsen’s San Francisco Police Community Foundation, which donated an additional $866,000 to support officer wellness and community engagement.

 

The city announced its Drones as First Responder program in October of last year. It allows trained officers to pilot drones around the city from the safety of RTIC headquarters.

Up until now, drones have been kept in the back of police cruisers for on-site use.

 

Right now, these drones, which require FAA training to pilot, can only take off from two launch sites.

But the SFPD told commissioners Wednesday that Larsen’s donation will add 10 take-off locations and introduce two new kinds of first-responder drones into their fleet.

“We’re going to be covering the entire city with drones,” said RTIC representative Captain Thomas MacGuire.

 

These new take-off locations, which have been mostly finalized, will be located primarily at San Francisco fire stations throughout the city. Scott said this arrangement will allow the drones to also support firefighters.

Ukraine is using terrorist tactics at a state level to derail peace negotiations with Moscow, senior Russian diplomat Rodion Miroshnik has told RT.

 

Recent acts of railway sabotage in Russia’s Bryansk and Kursk regions have damaged passenger and freight trains, killing seven people and injuring 113. Russia’s Investigative Committee has called the incidents “terrorist attacks” planned by Ukraine to inflict maximum civilian harm. The attacks were carried out the day before the second round of direct Russia-Ukraine talks in Istanbul on Monday.

 

Miroshnik, an ambassador-at-large for the Russian Foreign Ministry, who is tasked with investigating the Ukrainian military’s alleged war crimes, said in an interview on Wednesday thatKiev was orchestrating a series of violent acts aimed at undermining peace talks with Moscow, which are being facilitated by both the US and Russia.

 

“Ukraine is using terrorist tools that are banned by international law at the level of the state,” he said.

 

He added thatUkraine fundamentally opposes the establishment of dialogue with Russia, and thatthe terrorist actions taken by Kiev are specifically directed at disrupting such efforts.”

 

According to the Russian diplomat, the latest attacks were timed to precede the negotiations in Istanbul.

 

“A whole series of terrorist acts was carried out in order to force Russia to withdraw from the negotiation process,” he stated, adding that the efforts would not succeed.

 

“Kiev will not be able to sabotage the talks this way because military operations and negotiations will be kept separate,” Miroshnik said.

 

He warned that those responsible for the attacks would be punished. “There will be no forgiveness or silence in response to this. Ukraine has failed to push Russia away from negotiations through covert pressure,” he stated. While the US is attempting the role of arbiter and is showing a willingness to search for a diplomatic resolution to the Ukraine conflict,EU countries and the UK are openly seeking to continue the fighting, the diplomat claimed. (Once this Ukraine is settled the countries backing Kiev should be on the lookout.Those leaders are bringing on their own demise.)

 

He referred to reports suggesting that the US administration had not been informed of the Ukrainian attacks.However, Miroshnik argued the incidents were carried out in coordination withEuropean intelligence services, and that “Ukraine could not have organized such actions alone.” (That sounds like they know intelligence agencies were involved. They know Trump would have never given the go order for either party.)

 

Earlier this week, the head of Russia’s Investigative Committee, Aleksandr Bastrykin, stated that the explosives used to blow up two railway bridges in Russia were foreign-made.

 

Ukraine has ramped up drone raids and other attacks on Russian territory, including a UAV strike on several Russian airbases on Sunday, in a coordinated assault across five regions, from Murmansk in the Arctic to Irkutsk in Siberia.

 

Moscow has repeatedly condemned Ukraine’s continued acts of sabotage on Russian territory,claiming that they undermine ongoing efforts to find a diplomatic resolution to the conflict.(Russia will never allow themselves to be blamed for stopping the peace negotiations)

Revulsion for Israel Surges Worldwide, New Survey Finds

 

Twenty months into its livestreamed and accelerating genocide in Gaza, it would hardly be controversial to conclude that Israel is one of the world’s most hated countries.

 

But a new global survey from the US-based Pew Research Center indicates just how unpopular it has become, especially in the North American and European states where Tel Aviv has always drawn its main sources of financial, military and political support.

 

“In 20 of the 24 countries surveyed, around half of adults or more have an unfavorable view of Israel,” Pew reported on 3 June. “Around three-quarters or more hold this view in Australia, Greece, Indonesia, Japan, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden and Turkey.”

 

Pew says it last asked the question in 10 of the countries included in its new survey in 2013. “In seven of these countries, the share of adults with a negative view of Israel has increased significantly.”

 

Israel was most unpopular in Turkey, with 93 percent of respondents viewing it unfavorably. Turkey was the only country in the immediate region of Palestine to be surveyed by Pew.

 

Among European publics surveyed, Israel was viewed most negatively in the Netherlands (78 percent), a remarkable fact in a country whose governments have traditionally been staunchly pro-Israel.

 

Even in Hungary – whose leader Viktor Orban welcomed Benjamin Netanyahu to Budapest earlier this year in spite of the international arrest warrant for the Israeli prime minister – 53 percent of the public views Israel negatively.

 

Historic shift in US

In the United States – Israel’s biggest financier and arms supplier – 53 percent of those surveyed now have a negative view of Israel – an 11-point surge since 2022, according to Pew.

 

In recent years, surveys have consistently found that Israel is overwhelmingly unpopular with majorities of Democrats, younger Americans and people of color.

 

But it is an entirely new phenomenon for a majority of the US population overall to view Israel negatively.

 

The erosion of support for Israel in the United States – particularly among younger people – has long worried Israel and its lobby groups as a potential threat to long-term US support for Israel.

 

That likely explains why the Trump administration has focused its unconstitutional crackdown on free speech critical of Israel on college campuses, in an effort to scare the younger generation into line.

 

The turn to heavy-handed censorship, not just in the US but across Europe, is also an admission that efforts to equate disapproval of Israel’s crimes with anti-Semitism, or to burnish its brand with expensive PR campaigns, can do nothing against the horrific reality streamed daily from Gaza to peoples phones.

In the heart of rural Peru, a chilling legend has re-emerged with terrifying real-world implications. Reports have surfaced from an isolated indigenous community claiming they are under assault—by what they believe to be extraterrestrial beings.

 

Timothy Alberino recently discussed with Shawn Ryan how this village and the terror of the “face peeler” aliens isn’t just a myth, but a real-life situation for many there.

Alberino himself made his way to talk to people who have encountered these horrifying beings for a first-hand account.

The story, both bizarre and unnerving, intersects with ancient mythology, military operations and questions about forbidden knowledge kept hidden from the public eye.

 

“When I encountered Talia… she was trembling uncontrollably,” Alberino recounts. “Our hearts broke for this girl. Obviously, severe PTSD.” Talia shared a harrowing experience from one evening in July 2023.

As she attempted to knock fruit from a tree in her backyard to make a drink, the sun began to set—and with nightfall came terror. “The incursions only happened after dark,” he said.

 

This incident is not isolated. Multiple villagers have reported similar encounters that date back to the 1980s. “Some of them thought the face peelers were extraterrestrials… Others believe they were gringos harvesting organs.”

While these claims may sound far-fetched, they coincided with a major U.S. military operation in the region. “There was a joint military operation happening in Peru. It was called Resolute Sentinel,” Alberino explains.

“It involved the Air Force. It involved the Marines. It involved Space Force.” The implication? What the villagers saw may not be supernatural at all—but instead, an unintended consequence of classified military activity.

 

Not only could the reality of these “face peeler” aliens be the sign of something much more sinister, but Alberino also noted the secrecy of elites in regards to underground bunkers and what the government may be preparing for next.

“If we are preparing for a nuclear strike, we would build underground bases and connect them [with] some kind of a rail system,” Alberino says.

“You’ve got to be way high up into these organizations before they start to transmit this information to you,” he explains.

 

The convergence of ancient legends, unexplained sightings and military secrecy paints a chilling picture that defies easy explanation.

Air Force Commander Prepares California Desert Community For Pearl Harbor-Like Strike By China

 

Last month, the commander of Edwards Air Force Base, California, talked openly about the need for local leaders to prepare for a Pearl Harbor-like strike on his base and others inside the United States.

 

Brig. Gen. Doug Wickert delivered “a sobering assessment of China’s growing military capabilities” in a briefing to community leaders, according to an Air Force press release. Wickert, the 412th Test Wing commander, spoke at Antelope Valley College on May 7.

 

Edwards Air Force Base is located in the Mojave desert about 100 miles northeast of Los Angeles.

 

Wickert referenced the 1941 Pearl Harbor attack in his briefing, the press release said, drawing parallels to warnings about Pearl Harbor’s vulnerability prior to the attack.

 

Such frank talk about the possible impact on a community around an American military base, in the event of a war with China over Taiwan, is rare.

 

Notably, Wickert’s comments appear to be fully endorsed and approved by the Department of Defense, signaling a changing attitude.

 

In January 2023, Gen. Mike Minihan, Commander of Air Mobility Command, which controls much of the air transport and air refueling capacity of the Department of Defense, said in a letter to his command, “My gut tells me we will fight in 2025. [Chinese leader Xi Jinping] secured his third term and set his war council in October 2022. Taiwan’s presidential elections are in 2024 and will offer Xi a reason. United States’ presidential elections are in 2024 and will offer Xi a distracted America. Xi’s team, reason, and opportunity are all aligned for 2025.”

 

Minihan wrote the letter to prepare his command for conflict. The Department of Defense quickly replied at the time, “These comments are not representative of the department’s view on China.”

 

A Wake-up Call for Community Leaders

Wickert’s audience consisted of local community leaders, leadership of critical infrastructure providers to the base, and members of Congress.

 

Rep. Vince Fong (R-Calif.) opened the briefing by discussing the necessity for stateside military installations to stay operational in the face of complex catastrophes, including military actions by adversaries.

 

Wickert compared Edwards, a massive facility focused on testing, research, and development, to its counterpart in the Chinese Air Force.

 

He presented intelligence data on the rapid modernization and “staggering” growth of the Chinese army, the press release said. Using Google Earth imagery, he pointed to Dingxin Test and Training Base in the Gobi Desert, China’s equivalent of Edwards AFB. “The base sits next to a full-scale two-dimensional replica of Taiwan’s Taichung International Airport,” according to the release.

 

“It’s kind of clear what their intention is,” Wickert said.

UAlbany physicists test scientific approach to UAP research

A team of physicists from the University at Albany has proposed scientifically rigorous methods for documenting and analyzing Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) building upon the work of numerous past and present researchers in the field.

The team tested their methods in the field for the first time and reported their findings as part of a special edition of the high-impact peer-reviewed journal Progress in Aerospace Sciences published on June 2.

UAP is the term used by government agencies like NASA to refer to “observations of events in the sky that cannot be identified as aircraft or known natural phenomena.”

 

Utilizing a diverse set of devices to capture different types of data on many channels, UAlbany authors Matthew Szydagis, Kevin Knuth and Cecilia Levy, along with Ben Kugielsky of UAPx, a non-profit scientific research organization, collected observable-light and infrared images during a field expedition in 2021 to Laguna Beach, California.

The team also used weather radar data and radiation detectors to create a robust framework for documenting and testing potentially anomalous phenomena that moves away from reliance on eyewitness testimony and similarly subjective methods.

 

“Following on the recent joint Congressional subcommittee hearing on unidentified anomalous phenomena, the study of UAP is slowly moving from the fringe to the mainstream of scientific study,” said Szydagis, lead author and an associate professor of physics at UAlbany.

“As this process moves forward, it’s critical that future study of UAPs follows a rigorous, repeatable method that can be tested and confirmed by other researchers. We aim to establish a roadmap for these efforts with this paper.”

 

Szydagis noted the combination of tools and data sets his team relied on during the study included the first use of National Weather Service public Doppler weather radar data to corroborate observations from other instruments, the introduction of coincidence timing between detectors to determine whether potential anomalies were simultaneously recorded by multiple instruments, and a radiation-detection tool known as the Cosmic Watch to determine whether anomalies observed on infrared cameras were accompanied by detectable ionizing radiation.

 

New AI-Assisted Image Analysis

To help analyze the data from the infrared cameras, Szydagis developed new software, Custom Target Analysis Protocol (C-TAP), which combines artificial intelligence with human verification to do a pixel-by-pixel analysis of successive camera frames to study differences and distinguish actual observations from digital noise in the camera images — similar to an approach used by physicists like him and Levy to look for direct evidence of dark matter.

The special edition of Progress in Aerospace Sciences includes a comprehensive review of studies conducted on UAPs from 1933 to the present, including more than 20 historical government and privately funded projects as well as recent scientific research efforts in Ireland, France, Germany, Norway, Sweden and the United States.

 

That article, “The New Science of Unidentified Aerospace-Undersea Phenomena (UAP),” aims to clarify the current and historical scientific narrative around UAP and highlight that UAP/UFOs are longstanding global phenomena that have been observed and recorded for well over 150 years, that UAP/UFOs have been observed and studied by astronomers, scientists, and engineers, and that there are currently several serious academic efforts in multiple countries working to collect hard scientific data on UAP using modern instrumentation.

 

Knuth is lead author of the article, which was co-written by Szydagis and more than 30 other researchers from around the world.

“Given the longstanding, global nature of the UAP/UFO question, the air safety and security implications of their presence, and the potentially profound importance of their nature, studying and understanding these phenomena is of great and urgent importance.” Knuth said.

Boffins probing the alien mummies from Peru claim to have found that one of them was pregnant. Dr David Ruiz Vela and journalist Jois Mantilla say they discovered a fetus inside the womb of one of the corpses.

The pair made the bizarre discovery inside a mummy named Montserrat while analysing the remains at a radiology centre in Lima. They believe the ET died 1,200 years ago when she was less than 30 weeks pregnant.

Maria, who was 5ft 6in and aged 35 to 45 when she died, had suffered a deep cut and bite marks to the lower pelvis along with several small puncture wounds extending from her tailbone to hip.

The skin and fat had been removed and two small tailbone vertebrae were broken. She also suffered a zigzag-shaped wound with a broken pattern suggesting she may have plunged from a cliff onto rocks.

 

CT scans of Montserrat, who died when she was between 16 and 25, showed the likely cause of death as a puncture wound to the chest between the fifth and sixth ribs.

She had suffered significant trauma sustained over an extended period resulting in multiple fractures including breaks in the scapula and ribs.

He accused the ICC prosecutor of being “like judges in Nazi Germany who denied Jews basic rights and enabled the Holocaust,” the BBC reported.
