Update(1425ET): A reported hundreds of Iranian missiles were launched on Israel. Some appear to have landed, though Israel's robust air defense system is active, and likely busy intercepting. Times of Israel writes in an update:

TEHRAN - The Foreign Ministry summoned the Swiss ambassador to Tehran, whose country represents the U.S. Interest Section in Iran, to formally convey the Islamic Republic’s strong protest to Washington over its support for Israel that made surprise attacks on Iran at dawn time on Friday.

“Following the blatant violation of Iran's territorial integrity and national sovereignty by the Zionist regime and its savage aggression against multiple locations inside the country—including the Natanz nuclear facility, several military bases, and residential buildings—which resulted in the martyrdom and injury of several senior commanders of the armed forces, university professors, as well as innocent Iranian women and children, Ms. Nadine Lozano, the Swiss Ambassador in Tehran as the head of the U.S. Interests Section in Tehran, was summoned to the Foreign Ministry,” the ministry said in a press release.

Eisa Kameli, director general of the Americas Department at the Foreign Ministry, said Iran strongly condemns and protests this “aggressive act by Israel and the U.S. support for it.”

Kameli described the blatant crime committed by the Zionist regime in its military violation of Iran’s national sovereignty that run counter to all international norms and the United Nations Charter.

He also highlighted the long-standing comprehensive support provided by the United States to the Israeli regime and emphasized the “responsibility” of the U.S. government for the “very dangerous and extensive consequences arising from the Zionist regime’s adventurism.”

Kameli warned against any U.S. “military support” for the Zionist regime, including efforts to prevent Iran from exercising its “legitimate right to self-defense”.

He stressed that it is “inconceivable” that the Zionist regime’s aggressive actions against Iran could have taken place “without cooperation, coordination, or at least a green light from the United States.”

Accordingly, the U.S. “must be held accountable for its illegal conduct” in this matter.

The Swiss ambassador assured that she would immediately relay these concerns to the U.S. government.

Meanwhile, the Grace Shara trial began on June 3 at the State of Wisconsin Circuit Court for Outagamie County.

Grace’s family sued Ascension St. Elizabeth Hospital in April 2023 and filed an amended complaint in July 2023, alleging the hospital’s Covid treatment protocols directly resulted in Grace’s death in October 2021, a week after admission.

“This isn’t about failing to provide information. This is about providing treatment with no consent whatsoever,” Scott Schara, Grace’s father, testified on June 4. “Her passing was a result of combining Precedex, lorazepam and morphine in a 26-minute window and putting an illegal do-not-resuscitate order on her chart.”

The lawsuit names 14 defendants, including Ascension Health, five medical doctors and four John Doe medical providers, two registered nurses, and the Wisconsin Injured Patients and Family Compensation Fund.

The defendants argued that Schara may have died due to “a naturally progressing disease, a pre-existing condition, or a superseding or intervening cause,” Green Bay-based CBS affiliate WFRV reported.

According to the Journal Sentinel, the hospital also argued that the PREP Act provided it and its doctors and staff immunity from liability during the Covid pandemic.

Reports say that, at times during the first three days of the trial, hospital doctors and nurses who testified appeared to contradict themselves over whether Grace had been oversedated and whether her family consented to a DNR order.

Green Bay, Wisconsin-based ABC affiliate WBAY reported, “This is the first wrongful death jury trial in the country for a death listed as Covid-19 on the death certificate.”

WFRV reported that “this landmark case could have far-reaching implications for how medical decisions are made, especially during a public health crisis.”

The trial could last up to three weeks. Up to 22 witnesses may testify, WFRV reported, adding that the case may draw attention “to critical issues surrounding informed consent and the rights of patients and their families in the healthcare system.”

The Justice Department Sues California Coffee Shop Over Discrimination Against Jewish Customers

The Justice Department has filed an anti-discrimination case against the owners of the Jerusalem Coffee House in Oakland, California.

Fathi Abdulrahim Harara and Native Grounds LLC are accused of violating Title II of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibits discrimination based on race, color, religion, or national origin in places of public accommodation. The matter is also the subject of a private lawsuit by the Anti-Defamation League and other groups.

In the ADL complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, there are details on how a Jewish customer was alleged to have been chased from the business by its owner and an employee.

Michael Radice, visited Jerusalem Coffee House in July 2024, wearing a baseball cap with a Star of David icon and the phrase “Am Yisrael Chai” — or “the people of Israel live.”

In approaching the business, Radice says that he was confronted by a man sitting outside who demanded, “Are you a Jew?” After Mr. Radice answered affirmatively, the man verbally attacked him and accused him of being “responsible” for “killing children.”

Radice decided to go back to the business the following month and discovered that the man was an employee at the shop. He alleges that the man with the owner and a third employee forced him to leave and then followed him down the street yelling, “You’re the guy with the hat. You’re the Jew. You’re the Zionist. We don’t want you in our coffee shop. Get out.” As Mr. Radice walked away, three men followed him, and he heard them calling him “Jew” and “Zionist.”

The federal lawsuit notes that, on the first anniversary of the Oct. 7 Hamas terrorist attacks on Israel, the Jerusalem Coffee House announced two new drinks: “Iced In Tea Fada,” an obvious reference to “intifada.” It also introduced as drink, “Sweet Sinwar,” an apparent reference to Yahya Sinwar, the former leader of Hamas who orchestrated the massacre. It also alleges that the coffee house’s exterior side wall displays inverted red triangles, a symbol of violence against Jews that has been spray-painted on Jewish homes and synagogues in anti-Semitic attacks.

Under Title II, the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division can seek to force changes in how the coffee shop must remedy alleged discriminatory conduct. In the meantime, the shop will face demands for civil damages in the private lawsuit.

While customers appear undisturbed by drinks named after a mass murderer, the shop itself is likely to find what is coming a bit harder to swallow. It is now facing litigation on two fronts over the treatment of Jewish customers.

On Friday morning, Israel launched strikes on Iranian nuclear and military sites, which it insisted were necessary to prevent Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons. The airstrikes were coordinated with targeted assassinations of senior Iranian military officials.

In any event, Leo left The Federalist Society to do his own “thing.” I am so disappointed in The Federalist Society because of the bad advice they gave me on numerous Judicial Nominations.

This is something that cannot be forgotten!With all of that being said, I am very proud of many of our picks, but very disappointed in others.

They always must do what’s right for the Country!

In this case, it is only because of my successful use of Tariffs that many Trillions of Dollars have already begun pouring into the U.S.A. from other Countries, money that, without these Tariffs, we would not be able to get.

It is the difference between having a rich, prosperous, and successful United States of America, and quite the opposite. The ruling by the U.S. Court of International Trade is so wrong, and so political!

Hopefully, the Supreme Court will reverse this horrible, Country threatening decision, QUICKLY and DECISIVELY.

Backroom “hustlers”must not be allowed to destroy our Nation!

The horrific decision stated that I would have to get the approval of Congress for these Tariffs.

In other words, hundreds of politicians would sit around D.C. for weeks, and even months, trying to come to a conclusion as to what to charge other Countries that are treating us unfairly.

If allowed to stand, this would completely destroy Presidential Power — The Presidency would never be the same! This decision is being hailed all over the World by every Country, other than the United States of America.

Radical Left Judges, together with some very bad people, are destroying America. Under this decision, Trillions of Dollars would be lost by our Country, money that will, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.

It would be the harshest financial ruling ever leveled on us as a Sovereign Nation. The President of the United States must be allowed to protect America against those that are doing it Economic and Financial harm.
