The U.S. military has arrested disgraced former FBI Director James Comey on charges of treason, sedition, obstruction of justice, and aiding and abetting persons actively involved in criminal behavior, Real Raw News has learned.

 

Donald J. Trump greenlit the Tuesday morning raid on Comey’s lavish, suburban home after speaking to Marine Corps Col. John Lynch, commanding officer of the Marine Raider regiment at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Col. Lynch committed at least two 4-man squads to the mission, said a confidential source involved in Trump’s quest to depose Joseph Biden and restore America to the people.

 

On Tuesday at about 3:00 a.m., U.S. Marines operating on Donald Trump’s authority stormed Comey’s seven-bedroom, 10,700-sqaure-foot mansion in McClean, Virginia. Although most operational details are classified, our source said Raiders surprised Comey, who was half-asleep in bed, and apprehended him after he reached for a pistol underneath a pillow. Before he could palm the weapon, a Marine charged forward and struck Comey’s forehead with the butt of his rifle, rendering Comey unconscious.

 

“Trump’s people had digital surveillance on the Comey residence for quite a long time. They knew Comey’s wife, Patrice, would be out of town on personal business, and none of the kids would be around visiting. Trump’s been anticipating this moment a long time; it’s a day of reckoning,” our source said.

 

Trump, our source added, had authored a sealed indictment on Comey shortly after firing him on May 9, 2017. He had obtained irrefutable evidence proving that Comey, an Obama holdover, had been on Clinton’s payroll and, on her authority, tried to slander the president by linking the Trump campaign to Russian interference in the 2016 election. Moreover, Trump had obtained a 2015 audio recording in which Comey told Hillary Clinton he would “do whatever it takes, no matter what” to scuttle Trump’s bid for the presidency. Additionally, Trump learned that Comey’s faux investigation into Clinton’s handling of confidential emails was merely for effect, optics to avoid the appearance of impropriety and bias.

 

“Comey is criminal scum. He doesn’t have a modicum of decency. Trump also has the goods on him for wiretapping Trump Tower. Comey’s been taken to a secure holding pending transportation to GITMO, where he’ll face a military tribunal. One thing that’ll come out is that when Comey got hold of Anthony Weiner’s laptop, he found videos of Huma Abedin and Hillary Clinton doing some pretty terrible things to kids. Comey kept that info from the public, probably at Clinton’s request,” our source said.

 

In closing, we asked our source why, with so many arrests dropping, family and friends of the accused haven’t complained to CNN or MSNBC about their loved ones being abducted in the dead of night.

 

“The only explanation is the Deep State is keeping them silent,” our source said. “If it became officially known that people like Clinton, Podesta, Abedin, and now Comey have been nabbed by the military, it would weaken the Deep State’s hold on society—because it would show they are losing. And the Deep Staters always want to give the appearance of winning. They won’t be able to for much longer.”

Microsoft revokes cloud services from Israel’s Unit 8200, following +972 exposé

 

The tech giant blocked access after we revealed the Israeli army had been using its servers to store millions of Palestinians' intercepted phone calls.

 

Microsoft has terminated the Israeli army’s access to technology it was using to store vast troves of intelligence on Palestinian civilians in the West Bank and Gaza, the tech giant informed Israel’s Defense Ministry in a letter late last week, according to the Guardian.

 

The decision followed an exposé last month by +972 Magazine, Local Call, and the Guardian revealing how Unit 8200, the Israeli army’s elite cyber warfare agency, was housing intercepted recordings of millions of mobile phone calls by Palestinians on Microsoft’s cloud platform, Azure, creating one of the world’s most intrusive collections of surveillance data over a single population group. According to the joint investigation, this data has been used over the past two years to plan lethal airstrikes in Gaza, as well as to arrest Palestinians in the West Bank.

 

As far as is known, this is the first time a major U.S. tech company has revoked the Israeli army’s access to any of its products since the start of its war on Gaza. Microsoft nonetheless continues to work with other Israeli military units that are longstanding clients.

 

Microsoft’s letter to the Israeli Defense Ministry, which was seen by the Guardian, noted that the company had launched an “urgent” external inquiry following our exposé, finding that the Israeli army had violated Microsoft’s terms of service by utilizing its cloud platform to store the surveillance trove. According to the Guardian, the letter stated that because the company “identified evidence” in support of our reporting, it had decided to suspend the storage and AI services connected to the project under review. It added that Microsoft “is not in the business of facilitating the mass surveillance of civilians.”

 

On Thursday, the Guardian reports, Microsoft’s vice chair and president, Brad Smith, sent an email to staff informing them of the decision, explaining that the company had “ceased and disabled a set of services to a unit within the Israel ministry of defense.” He added: “We do not provide technology to facilitate mass surveillance of civilians. According to an internal Microsoft document summarizing the meeting, obtained by the Guardian, Sariel informed senior company officials that he wanted to store vast quantities of intelligence — up to 70 percent of the unit’s data, including highly classified material — on Azure servers.

 

An intelligence officer told +972, Local Call, and the Guardian that prior to its partnership with Microsoft, Unit 8200 only had the storage capacity on its internal servers to house recordings of the phone calls of tens of thousands of Palestinians whom the army defined as “suspects.” But thanks to Azure’s near-limitless storage capacity, the unit could begin saving the intercepted calls of many more Palestinians across Gaza and the West Bank on its servers, enabling what multiple Israeli sources described as the project’s ambitious goal: to store “a million calls an hour.”

 

This mass collection of surveillance data allowed the army to obtain potentially incriminating information on virtually any Palestinian in the West Bank — data that could, in practice, be used for blackmail, placing people in administrative detention, or even retroactively justifying killings.

Health minister concedes tobacco black market has 'exploded'

 

Health Minister Mark Butler has conceded the tobacco black market has "exploded" into the biggest threat to public health in Australia.

 

Mr Butler admitted on Adelaide local radio that organised crime had recently taken a "stranglehold" over the illicit tobacco market.

 

"It started in Melbourne and it spread right through the country. It means that there is violence and arson taking place as rival gangs try to take control of what is a very high-revenue market for them," the minister told FiveAA.

 

"It bankrolls all of their other criminal activity: their sex trafficking, their drug trafficking, all of the crimes that have very serious victims involved.

Earlier this week, the Australian Medical Association warned the availability of illegal tobacco in the past 12 to 18 months appeared to be leading to a rise in smoking rates — a reversal in their long-term downward trajectory.

Beleaguered Townsville Mayor Troy Thompson resigns, vows to run again

 

A Queensland mayor under investigation overmisrepresenting his military, education and business credentialshas announced his resignation.

 

Troy Thompson was elected as Townsville's mayor in April 2024.

 

He was suspended by the state government on full pay for 12 months in November, amid an ongoing Crime and Corruption Commission investigation.

 

Cr Thompson had been under pressure to resign after conceding in May 2024 he had falsely declared details of his military record and university degrees.

 

In a statement posted on social media on Friday, Mr Thompson said he was standing down a month before his suspension period was due to end.

 

"This resignation is not an admission of wrong-doing," he said.

"It is a deliberate and principled stand to protect the democratic rights of the people of Townsville."

 

The resignation comes just a week after Local Government Minister Ann Leahy issued Mr Thompson with a show-cause notice, asking him why he should not be dismissed.

 

Ms Leahy issued the show cause notice after being briefed by the Crime and Corruption Commission, which has been investigating Cr Thompson for more than a year.

 

Ms Leahy said the briefing had raised serious allegations.

 

Mr Thompson has maintained he was the victim of political interference.

 

"I was elected by 53,956 people with a clear mandate, yet the premier and minister are attempting to use government bureaucracy to overturn that decision," he said.

Mr Thompson said he would run again as mayor, with a by-election expected to be declared.

 

"Nothing in the law prevents me from running again," he said.

Donald Trump imposes 100 per cent tariffs on branded pharmaceuticals

 

The United States will impose a 100 per cent tariff on imports of branded or patented pharmaceutical products from October 1, unless a pharmaceutical company is building a manufacturing plant in the US, President Donald Trump said on Thursday.

 

"There will, therefore, be no Tariff on these pharmaceutical products if construction has started," Trump said on Truth Social.

 

Pharmaceutical drugs imported to the US were already slapped with a 25 per cent tariff in May.

 

The US president said the new tariff on any branded or patented pharmaceutical product would apply to all imports unless the company had already broken ground on a manufacturing plant in the United States.

 

In July, Mr Trump threatened to hit drug manufacturers with a tariff as high as 200 per cent if they did not move manufacturing to the US.

 

Pharmaceutical products are one of the top export markets for Australia to the US, worth around $1.6 billion in 2023-24.

 

However, much of those exports relate to one Australian company, CSL, which sends vast quantities of plasma and other blood products to the United States.

 

Several major pharma companies based here have previously told ABC News that they will not be affected as they do not export to the US.

 

CSL has been contacted for comment.

 

Pharmaceutical companies Clairty, Neuren and Telix have also been contacted for comment.

 

The company, which also makes vaccines, already has production capacity in the US, with about 19,000 people employed there.

 

This includes hundreds of blood collection centres, a plasma processing facility in Illinois, and a vaccines plant in North Carolina.

 

In 2024, the US imported nearly $US233 billion ($357 billion) in pharmaceutical products, according to its Census Bureau.

 

The prospect of prices doubling could potentially increase costs of Medicare and Medicaid in the US.

WASHINGTON — FBI Director Kash Patel shared on Thursday that the gunman who opened fire on an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Dallas yesterday had searched online for apps that tracked the locations of ICE agents.

Such apps are a “casting call to invite bad actors to invite law enforcement officers,” Marcos Charles, ICE’s Acting Executive Associate Director of Enforcement and Removal Operations, said at a Thursday press conference. “It’s no different than giving the hit man the location of their intended target, and this is exactly what we saw happen in Dallas yesterday.”

Charles called out mainstream media outlets for amplifying these apps, lamenting that “The media has been amplifying these apps even as we warned them it would only lead to more attacks on law enforcement.”

“We truly wish we didn’t have to say we told you so, but here we are.”

CNN came under fire earlier this year for its coverage of one such app, “ICE Block.” CNN’s story and segment dove into the intricacies of the app, sharing how it allows users to report ICE sightings and pinpoint the locations of federal agents in order to help illegal aliens avoid arrest.

Users could be anonymous, CNN noted.

“‘I wanted to do something to fight back’: This iPhone app alerts users to nearby ICE sightings,” reads the headline of CNN reporter Claire Duffy’s piece. Her coverage shares that “users can add a pin on a map showing where they spotted agents — along with optional notes, like what officers were wearing or what kind of car they were driving,” adding: “Other users within a five-mile radius will then receive a push alert notifying them of the sighting.”

ICE officials said in June that CNN’s segment endangered the lives of federal agents, and, pressed by The Daily Wire about the matter during a June press briefing, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt warned that the app sounded like “an incitement of further violence against our ICE officers.”

“It’s unacceptable that a major network would promote such an app that is encouraging violence against law enforcement officers who are trying to keep our country safe,” Leavitt said in June. The White House’s opposition to the coverage drew fire from liberal media outlets like MSNBC — which criticized the Trump administration and also interviewed ICE Block founder Joshua Aaron “to share his motive behind creating the app and why he’s not afraid of retaliation from the administration.”

On Thursday, following the tragic shooting at an ICE facility in Dallas, Leavitt slammed CNN once again.

Israeli Strikes Wreck Yemeni Capital In Revenge Attack

 

A wave of Israeli strikes hit the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, which is held by the Houthis (Ansar Allah), on September 25, causing casualties and destruction.

Mother of Dallas ICE shooter Joshua Jahn is hardline liberal who raged against gun rights

 

The mother of a sniper who killed two migrants in a horror shooting at a Dallas ICE facility was a liberal supporter of anti-gun laws who targeted members of the GOP over mass shootings.

 

Sharon Jahn, the mother of 29-year-old Joshua Jahn, kept an active Facebook page where she followed everyone from Kamala Harris and Rachel Maddow to an account representing the U.S. Democratic Socialists.

 

After the tragic mass shooting in Uvalde, Texas in 2022, she posted a lengthy rant to Facebook challenging Senators Ted Cruz and John Cornyn, as well as Governor Greg Abbott for their support of gun rights.

 

She wrote: 'Governor Abbott, Senator Cornyn and Senator Cruz how does it make you feel that your action to open up gun laws is responsible for the killing of 21 more people? Do you secretly sit in front of a tv and smile a demented smile? You must be proud of all the money that sits in your bank accounts from gun lobby support. Was it worth it, Governor Abbott? How about you senators?'

 

'When you prioritize money over people this is what you get,' Jahn added, noting 'blood money' all three had taken from the gun lobby.

 

She further slammed Cornyn for not having 'the spine to stand up to the NRA' for missing their annual meeting and saying he was a 'spineless coward.

 

'Why have our government officials failed us? Their lust for money and power. It is time we vote out spineless tools and bring in people who actually care about others.'

 

She also posted a poem that read: 'If we only have love, we can melt all the guns, and give the new world to our daughters and sons.'

 

Jahn was confronted by The Independent earlier Tuesday while she was sobbing.

 

'I'm sorry, I can't talk to you right now. I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. But I just can't talk to you now,' she said.

 

The Daily Mail has reached out to Jahn for further comment.

 

Her son Joshua Jahn, 29, was named as the gunman who opened fire on the ICE detention center around 7am Wednesday morning, before killing himself as cops descended on him.

 

Law enforcement said that the sniper perched on a roof adjacent to the facility and rained bullets on the migrants as they were being transported in an unmarked ICE van.

 

Investigators said that they are still establishing a motive, but believe the shooting may have been fueled by anti-law enforcement sentiment.

 

FBI Director Kash Patel released images of bullets found at the scene, showing 'anti-ICE' scrawled on the shells in blue ink.

 

After Jahn was identified as the alleged shooter, his brother Noah told NBC News that he did not believe his brother was especially interested in politics and had not voiced his opinions on immigration before.

 

'He didn't have strong feelings about ICE as far as I knew,' his brother said.

 

Noah said his brother was unemployed but had previously worked as a coder, and was planning on moving in with their parents in Oklahoma.

 

Jahn has been pictured in a mugshot from his arrest in 2015, when he was hit with felony charges for delivering marijuana in an amount greater than 1/4 ounce.

 

He was a registered independent in the 2024 election, but last voted in the Democratic primaries in March 2020, records showed.

 

The alleged shooter's brother reportedly spoke before he knew that his brother had been identified as the sniper, and described him as 'unique' without elaborating.

 

'I didn't think he was politically interested,' he continued, saying he had last seen him two weeks before the shooting on Wednesday and nothing seemed unusual.

 

'He wasn't interested in politics on either side as far as I knew.'

 

The siblings grew up in Allen, Texas, and spent their childhoods attending the Boy Scouts, the brother said.

 

He added that his brother knew how to use a rifle that his parents owned, but insisted that 'he's not a marksman, that's for sure.'

 

Asked about the ICE facility shooting, he remarked: 'He would not be able to make any shots like that.'

 

As investigators descended on the scene in Dallas, images showed a poster taped to the side of a vehicle believed to belong to Jahn.

 

A sign with what appears to be black splatter on the car reads: 'Radioactive fallout from nuclear detonations that've passed over these areas more than 2x since 1951.'

 

Homeland Security spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin told CNN that the death toll stood at two as of Wednesday afternoon. A third victim was in serious condition.

 

Investigators said Jahn fired 'indiscriminately' at the ICE office, peppering the transport van with bullets and also hitting windows in the building numerous times.

 

Witness Arianny Sierra told NBC that she was in her car waiting for her husband to return from an ICE appointment in the facility when she heard shots ring out.

 

'The shots began at around 6:10 a.m. There were like 20 shots in a row,' she said.

 

The victims were ICE detainees, and no law enforcement were injured in the shooting. Officials said at a press conference on Wednesday morning that the sniper opened fire 'from an elevated position' as migrants were inside the transport van.

 

He is believed to have been found on the roof of a nearby immigration attorney's office, WFAA reported.

 

Patel said in an X post: 'While the investigation is ongoing, an initial review of the evidence shows an ideological motive behind this attack.

 

'These despicable, politically motivated attacks against law enforcement are not a one-off.'

 

Although the sniper appeared to target migrants in ICE custody, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton wrote on X that the shooting represented an attack on ICE and law enforcement.

 

'We will continue to do everything in our power to combat the alarming increase of targeted attacks against ICE and all law enforcement by evil, twisted individuals,' Paxton wrote.

 

Vice President JD Vance added: 'The obsessive attack on law enforcement, particularly ICE, must stop. I'm praying for everyone hurt in this attack and for their families.'

 

At the press conference on Wednesday, Texas Senator Ted Cruz made an impassioned plea for the end of politically motivated violence that has swept the nation in recent times.

 

'We should not be putting language out there that inspires mad men to commit evil crimes,' Cruz said. 'Stop it, please.'

 

Cruz also cited the recent assassination of Charlie Kirk, telling reporters: 'It was two weeks ago today that we saw a political assassination in Utah that tore the heart out of much of this country.'

A former Minnesota state senator was sentenced to six months in jail after she was caught burglarizing her stepmother's house

 

Prosecutors said Nicole Mitchell's motive for breaking in was to steal her father's ashes from her stepmother after the two had a massive falling out.

 

Mitchell, a Democrat who stayed in office over for a year after the break-in, will serve six months on work release, meaning she'll go to a job during the day and return to jail at night.

 

But under Minnesota law, defendants are only required to serve two-thirds of their sentence, meaning she will only be on work release for four months.

 

'I don't think six months is very much time for what she put me through,' her stepmother, Carol Mitchell, told the Minnesota Star Tribune.

 

'But at least I know it's going to hurt her… losing her children and losing her job. … I guess there's definitely repercussions for what she did.'

 

Mitchell, 50, will also serve her sentence outside of Becker County, where the April 2024 home invasion was committed - something Becker County Attorney Brian McDonald called 'preferential treatment'.

 

The defense argued for even lighter treatment, hoping Judge Michael Fritz would downgrade her two felony burglary convictions down to misdemeanors.

 

Attorney Dane DeKrey said in a 31-page sentencing memo that Mitchell had 'already been publicly tarred and feathered' and that her 'being a felon for life is overkill'.

 

McDonald, the lead prosecutor, said the defense was essentially arguing that Mitchell is 'too important to face the consequences.'

 

He also pointed out that for more than a year, Mitchell was allowed to remain a lawmaker, craft legislation and collect a taxpayer-funded paycheck.

 

Judge Fritz opted to incarcerate her in Ramsey County, where she lives, after her attorneys told the court she recently got a job at a fast food restaurant. This was the only place that would hire her with her felon status, they said.

 

The sentencing was the end of the line for Mitchell, who stubbornly refused to resign from office after she was charged. She even resisted calls to step down from top state Democrats, including Governor Tim Walz.

 

The public first got a glimpse of Mitchell skulking around her stepmother's Detroit Lakes home in an all-black outfit during the July trial.

 

Police were called to home at around 4:45am on April 22, 2024, after a report of a home break in, according to a police affidavit.

 

Two officers, seen on the body cam footage, confronted Mitchell in the basement of the home and ordered her to get on the ground so she could be put in handcuffs.

 

The stepmother could be seen in the background watching Mitchell being arrested. The officers identified the point of entry as a basement window.

 

At the scene, Mitchell reportedly said 'clearly, I'm not good at this' and 'I know I did something bad'.

 

While Mitchell was being detained, she told her stepmother, 'I was just trying to get a couple of my dad's things because you wouldn't talk to me anymore,' according to police.

 

Mitchell later explained to officers that her father had died the year before and that she was trying to steal back his ashes because her stepmother allegedly refused to give them to her.

 

Text messages read out in court showed that prior to the burglary, Mitchell and her stepmother had a tense disagreement over how and when her father's remains would be interred.

 

In court, Mitchell changed her story, insisting that didn't break into the home to steal anything, rather she was only there to check on her stepmother, who has Alzheimer's disease.

 

Some of the most damning testimony came from Jonathan Kuehl, the biological son of Carol Mitchell. He said that the home invasion 'terrified' her.

 

He also said his mother was high-functioning despite her worsening condition, undercutting the defense's narrative.

 

'She's very functional, and the Alzheimer's is there. It's slowly progressing, but if there are' traumatic events, it would set back her short term memory, Kuehl explained.

 

McDonald, the prosecutor, said Mitchell's focus on her stepmother's Alzheimer's was a 'desperate attempt to somehow justify [her] actions and shift blame to the victim for the defendant breaking into victim's home'.

 

Mitchell apologized to the court and called what she did 'ridiculous and illegal and selfish'.

 

'I tell my kids that by the time you have to say you're sorry it's kind of already too late … because sometimes there are things that are so big you can't take them back,' she said. 'And this is one of those situations.'

 

She was not remanded after sentencing and is expected to report to work release on October 1. Following her sentence, she will be on probation for the next five years.

1 in 5 Americans now regularly get news on TikTok, up sharply from 2020

 

A fifth of U.S. adults now regularly get news on TikTok, up from just 3% in 2020. In fact, during that span, no social media platform we’ve studied has experienced faster growth in news consumption, according to a new Pew Research Center analysis.

 

TikTok is primarily known for short-form video sharing and is especially popular among teens – 63% of whom report ever using the platform.

 

But it has also become a popular news source for young adults. In our new survey, 43% of adults under 30 say they regularly get news there, up from 9% in 2020.

 

Adults ages 30 to 49 have also increasingly been getting news on TikTok: A quarter now say they do so regularly, up from just 2% five years ago. Much smaller shares of adults ages 50 to 64 and 65 and older say they regularly get news there (10% and 3%, respectively, as of this year).

 

When looking at adult TikTok users specifically, news consumption has also increased sharply in recent years. More than half of TikTok users (55%) now say they regularly get news on the platform, up from 22% in 2020. Federal Charges Filed Against Suspect in KXTV/ABC 10 Shooting

 

The Federal Bureau of Investigation arrested Anibal Hernandez Santana, 63, of Sacramento, over the weekend, and a three-count amended criminal complaint was filed against him on Monday morning, charging him with possessing a firearm within a school zone, discharging a firearm within a school zone, and interfering with a radio communication station, U.S. Attorney Eric Grant announced.

 

According to court documents, on Friday, Sept. 19, 2025, Hernandez Santana fired one shot towards, and three shots into, the KXTV/ABC 10 station on Broadway in Sacramento. While standing on the sidewalk around the block from the station, in front of 2555 3rd Street, Hernandez Santana fired the first shot into the air in the direction of the station. He then drove to the front of the station and fired three shots directly into the building’s lobby. A KXTV/ABC 10 employee was inside the lobby at the time, although no one was injured. The location from where Hernandez Santana discharged the first shot was within a school zone.

 

Law enforcement executed a search of Hernandez Santana’s person, home, and vehicle. There was a weekly planner attached to the refrigerator in his home. Under “Friday,” there was a handwritten note that stated, “Do the Next Scary Thing.” Law enforcement also found in his car a handwritten note that read, “For hiding Epstein & ignoring red flags. Do not support Patel, Bongino, & AG Pam Bondi. They’re next. – C.K. from above.”

 

The Sacramento Police Department initially arrested Hernandez Santana on Friday evening, but Hernandez Santana was released on bail the next day. The FBI arrested him hours later. Hernandez Santana is scheduled to make his initial appearance on the amended criminal complaint on Monday, Sept. 22, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.

 

This case is the product of an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Assistant U.S. Attorney Elliot Wong is prosecuting the case.

 

If convicted, Hernandez Santana faces a maximum statutory penalty of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine for possessing and discharging a firearm within a school zone, and a maximum of one year in prison and a $10,000 fine for interfering with a radio communication station. Any sentence, however, would be determined at the discretion of the court after consideration of any applicable statutory factors and the federal Sentencing Guidelines, which take into account a number of variables. The charges are only allegations; the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

Denmark Alerts NATO After Mystery Drone Incursions Disrupt Airports

 

European countries have over the last several weeks been growing more vocal over alleged Russian-backed 'hybrid attacks' on their infrastructure, and the latest focal points have been airports.

 

Denmark now says its airports are under threat from mysterious unauthorized drones, and was forced to close Aalborg airport - one of the nation's largest - for several hours Wednesday evening. The international airport is located in the northern Jutland region and facilitates commercial and at times military flights.

 

This comes after on Monday Copenhagen airport was temporarily closed due to a drone incursion. Danish authorities say they can't rule out a prank, but have pointed to professional actors being behind the incidents. "Aalborg, Esbjerg, Sonderborg and Skrydstrup airports were all affected overnight on Thursday," European sources indicate.

 

There were additional UAV sightings near military bases, in a series of incidents which took place between 10pm on Wednesday and about 1am on Thursday:

 

The Danish military said it had seen drones at “several military installations” – including Skrydstrup airbase and the The Jutland Dragoon Regiment barracks in Holstebro, warning it may “take down” drones at military sites.

 

Police in Denmark and in Sweden said they were investigating multiple reports of drone sightings – including over Danish oilfields and in Stockholm.

 

Defence Minister Troels Lund Poulsen in a Thursday news briefing used the words "hybrid attack" that appears part of a "systematic operation" - but also disclosed that the drones were deployed locally.

 

The goal is to supposedly sow fear and division, again suggesting Danish authorities believe external state actors are behind the incidents:

 

"There can be no doubt that everything points to this being the work of a professional actor when we are talking about such a systematic operation in so many locations at virtually the same time. This is what I would define as a hybrid attack using different types of drones."
