I started "being anon" after I got suspended from various social media and ever since then I've been floating freely almost like a "nomad" online. I can't have account anywhere and In my country its very difficult to post pretty much anything without getting in trouble. 4chan doesn't let you have VPN, other places require login which doesn't feel safe at all and everything else is dead. 8ch might literally be the last place on earth with actual freedom of speech! "The ShamWow guy," Vince Offer, has returned after a sex scandal to clean up his actwith a new product, "InVinceable." It isn't just a six-in-one kitchen cleaner, though. It's a comeback.

 

Four years after getting into a slugfest with an alleged prostitute— an incident that spawned a cringe-worthy mug shot andheadlines like "ShamWow Guy Beats Up Cannibal Hooker"— the infomercial pitchman who became famous as an irreverent version of Billy Mays is launching a new product that’s supposed to scrub persistent stains. Offer says the black mark on his name after the hooker incident had a silver lining.

 

"It probably saved my life," he said.

 

In an interview with NBC News, the infomercial star talked about his rise, his tumble, and his hopes for a return.

 

“Fame didn’t change me,” said Offer, 49, but, “money can buy anything.” And with it, “you want more girls around you.”

 

Becoming Vince

Born in Israel as Offer Shlomi, the future spiky-haired pitchman grew up in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, in a Jewish and Italian neighborhood. Looking for something "less foreign," he started going by "Vince Offer" in 1986.

 

Crude humor flowed freely on the streets and stoops of Brooklyn back then, said Offer. “I grew up thinking everyone liked d*** jokes.”

 

In the 1970s he was fascinated by the salesman in the “Crazy Eddie” commercials. But he was no “Crazy Eddie” in school. Offer says he was an average student and a little shy.

Children’s advocates say analog toys are a better bet for the holidays.

 

“Kids need lots of real human interaction. Play should support that, not take its place. The biggest thing to consider isn’t only what the toy does; it’s what it replaces. A simple block set or a teddy bear that doesn’t talk back forces a child to invent stories, experiment, and work through problems. AI toys often do that thinking for them,” she said. “Here’s the brutal irony: when parents ask me how to prepare their child for an AI world, unlimited AI access is actually the worst preparation possible.”

 

These toys, marketed to kids as young as 2 years old, are generally powered by AI models that have already been shown to harm children and teenagers, such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT, according to an advisory published Thursday by the children’s advocacy group Fairplay and signed by more than 150 organizations and individual experts such as child psychiatrists and educators.

 

“The serious harms that AI chatbots have inflicted on children are well-documented, including fostering obsessive use, having explicit sexual conversations, and encouraging unsafe behaviors, violence against others, and self-harm,” Fairplay said.

 

AI toys, made by companies including Curio Interactive and Keyi Technologies, are often marketed as educational, but Fairplay says they can displace important creative and learning activities. They promise friendship but disrupt children’s relationships and resilience, the group said.

 

“What’s different about young children is that their brains are being wired for the first time and developmentally it is natural for them to be trustful, for them to seek relationships with kind and friendly characters,” said Rachel Franz, director of Fairplay’s Young Children Thrive Offline Program. Because of this, she added, the amount of trust young children are putting in these toys can exacerbate the harms seen with older children.

 

“We found some of these toys will talk in-depth about sexually explicit topics, will offer advice on where a child can find matches or knives, act dismayed when you say you have to leave, and have limited or no parental controls,” the report said

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) —Since it was created in 2018, the federal government’s cybersecurity agency has helped warn state and local election officials about potential threats from foreign governments, showed officials how to protect polling places from attacks and gamed out how to respond to the unexpected, such as an Election Day bomb threat or sudden disinformation campaign

The agency was largely absent from that space for elections this month in several states, a potential preview for the 2026 midterms. Shifting priorities of the Trump administration,staffing reductions and budget cuts have many election officials concerned about how engaged the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency will be next year, when control of Congress will be at stake in those elections.

 

Some officials say they have begun scrambling to fill the anticipated gaps.

 

=“We do not have a sense of whether we can rely on CISA for these services as we approach a big election year in 2026,”said Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon, a Democrat who until recently led the bipartisan National Association of Secretaries of State.

 

The association’s leaders sent a letter to Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem in February asking her to preserve the cybersecurity agency’s core election functions. Noem, whose department oversees the agency, replied the following month that it was reviewing its “funding, products, services, and positions” related to election security and that its services would remain available to election officials.

 

Simon saidsecretaries of state are still waiting to hear about the agency’s plans.

 

“I regret to say that months later, the letter remains very timely and relevant,” he said.

 

An agency in transition

 

CISA, as the agency is known, was formedunder the first Trump administration to help safeguard the nation’s critical infrastructure, from dams and power plants to election systems.It has been undergoing a major transformation since President Donald Trump’s second term began in January.

 

Public records suggest thatroughly 1,000 CISA employees have lost their jobs over the past years. TheRepublican administration in March cut $10 millionfrom two cybersecurity initiatives, including one dedicated to helping state and local election officials.

 

That was afew weeks after CISA announced it was conducting a review of its election-related work, andmore than a dozen staffers who have worked on elections were placed on administrative leave. TheFBI also disbanded a task forceon foreign influence operations, including those that target U.S. elections.

 

CISA is still without an official director. Trump’s nomination of Sean Plankey,a cybersecurity expert in the first Trump administration, has stalled in the Senate.

 

CISA officials did not answer questionsseeking specifics about the agency’s role in the recently completed elections, its plans for the 2026 election cycle or staffing levels. They said the agency remains ready to help protectelection infrastructure.

 

“Under the leadership of President Trump and Secretary Noem,CISA is laser-focused on securing America’s critical infrastructure and strengthening cyber resilienceacross the government and industry,” said Marci McCarthy, CISA’s director of public affairs.

 

She said CISA would announce its future organizational plans “at the appropriate time.”

 

Christine Serrano Glassner, CISA’s chief external affairs officer, said the agency’s experts are ready to provide election guidance if asked.

 

“In the event of disruptions or threats to critical infrastructure, whether Election Day-related or not,CISA swiftly coordinates with the Office of Emergency Managementand the appropriate federal, state and local authorities,” she said in a statement.

California’s top election security agencies said CISA has played a “critical role” since 2018 but provided little, if any, help for the state’s Nov. 4 special election, when voters approved a redrawn congressional redistricting map.

 

“Over the past year, CISA’s capacity to support elections has been significantly diminished,” the California secretary of state’s office said in a statement to The Associated Press. “The agency has experienced major reductions in staffing, funding, and mission focus — including the elimination of personnel dedicated specifically to election security and foreign influence mitigation.”

 

“This shift has left election officials nationwide without the critical federal partnershipthey have relied on for several election cycles,” according to the office.

 

CISA alerted California officials in September that it would no longer participate in a task forcethat brought together federal, state and local agencies to support county election offices. California election officials and the governor’s Office of Emergency Services did what they could to fill the gaps and plan for various security scenarios.

 

In Orange County, California, the registrar of voters, Bob Page, said in an email that the state offices and other county departments “stepped up” to support his office “to fill the void left by CISA’s absence.”

 

Neighboring Los Angeles County had a different experience. The registrar’s office, which oversees elections, said it continues to get a range of cybersecurity services from CISA, including threat intelligence, network monitoring and security testing of its equipment, although local jurisdictions now have to cover the costs of some services that had been federally funded.

 

Some other states that held elections this month also said they did not have coordination with CISA.

 

Mississippi’s secretary of state, who heads the national association that sent the letter to Noem, did not directly respond to a request for comment, but his office confirmed that CISAwas not involved in the state’s recent elections.

 

In Pennsylvania, which held a nationally watched retention election for three state Supreme Court justices,the Department of State said it is also relied more on its own partners to ensure the elections were secure.

 

In an email, the department said it was “relying much less on CISA than it had in recent years.” Instead, it has begun collaborating with the state police, the state’s own homeland security department, local cybersecurity experts and other agencies.

 

Looking for alternatives

 

Simon, the former head of the secretary of state’s association, said state and localelection officials need answers about CISA’s plans because officials will have to seek alternativesif the services it had been providing will not be available next year.

 

In some cases, such as classified intelligence briefings, there are no alternatives to the federal government, he said.But there might be ways to get other services, such as testing of election equipment to see if it can be penetrated from outside.

 

In past election years, CISA also would conduct tabletop exercises with local agencies and election offices to game out various scenariosthat might affecting voting or ballot counting, and how they would react. Simon said that is something CISA was very good at.

 

“We are starting to assume that some of those services are not going to be available to us, and we are looking elsewhere to fill that void,” Simon said.

US men charged with plotting to seize Caribbean island

The suspects reportedly planned to turn women and children in Gonave into sex slaves

 

Two US men have been indicted for allegedly plotting an armed operation to take control of a Caribbean island, kill its male population, and enslave the women and children, US prosecutors have announced.

 

According to the US Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Texas, Gavin Rivers Weisenburg, 21, and Tanner Christopher Thomas, 20, both from the Dallas area, “have conspired to recruit and lead an unlawful expeditionary force” to Ile de la Gonave, a tropical island with around 100,000 residents that ispart of the Republic of Haiti.

 

The plan, reportedly discussed between August 2024 and July 2025, aimed to stage a coup d’etat “for the purpose of carrying out their rape fantasies.”

 

“Weisenburg and Thomas intended to murder all of the men on the island so that they could then turn all of the women and children into their sex slaves,” prosecutors said on Thursday, adding that both were charged with “conspiracy to murder, maim, or kidnap in a foreign country and production of child pornography.”

 

Investigators claim the pair had planned to buy a sailboat and firearms and also sought to recruit homeless people in the Washington, DC area to form an armed group.

 

The suspects reportedly undertook “numerous overt acts,” including studying the local language, preparing operational plans, and exploring training programs in order to “acquire skills relevant to the invasion plan.” Officials said Thomas enlisted in the US Air Force to receive military training.

 

Lawyer David Finn, who represents Weisenburg, described the indictment as “simply an allegation” and urged the public to "reserve judgment and don’t buy into the hype."

"If your initial response to the government’s press release was, ‘That sounds crazy, impossible, and absurd,’ you might be on to something important," he said, as quoted by Fox.

The conspiracy charge to murder in a foreign country carries a potential life sentence, while the child pornography offense is punishable by 15 to 30 years in prison.

Court Filings Allege Meta Downplayed Risks to Children and Misled the Public

Sex trafficking on Meta platforms was both difficult to report and widely tolerated, according to a court filing unsealed Friday. In a plaintiffs’ brief filed as part of a major lawsuit against four social media companies, Instagram’s former head of safety and well-being Vaishnavi Jayakumar testified that when she joined Meta in 2020 she was shocked to learn that the company had a “17x” strike policy for accounts that reportedly engaged in the “trafficking of humans for sex.”

 

“You could incur 16 violations for prostitution and sexual solicitation, and upon the 17th violation, your account would be suspended,” Jayakumarreportedly testified, adding that “by any measure across the industry, [it was] a very, very high strike threshold.” The plaintiffs claim that this testimony is corroborated by internal company documentation.

 

The brief, filed by plaintiffs in the Northern District of California, alleges that Meta was aware of serious harms on its platform and engaged in a broad pattern of deceit to downplay risks to young users. According to the brief, Meta was aware that millions of adult strangers were contacting minors on its sites; that its products exacerbated mental health issues in teens; and that content related to eating disorders, suicide, and child sexual abuse was frequently detected, yet rarely removed. According to the brief,the company failed to disclose these harms to the public or to Congress, and refused to implement safety fixes that could have protected young users.

 

“Meta has designed social media products and platforms that it is aware are addictive to kids, and they’re aware that those addictions lead to a whole host of serious mental health issues,” says Previn Warren, the co-lead attorney for the plaintiffs in the case. “Like tobacco, this is a situation where there are dangerous products that were marketed to kids,” Warren adds. “They did it anyway, because more usage meant more profits for the company.”

 

The following allegations against Meta come from the brief filed in an unprecedented multidistrict litigation. More than 1,800 plaintiffs—including children and parents, school districts, and state attorneys general—have joined together in a suit alleging that the parent companies behind Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, and YouTube “relentlessly pursued a strategy of growth at all costs, recklessly ignoring the impact of their products on children’s mental and physical health,” according to their master complaint.The newly unsealed allegations about Meta are just one small part of the sprawling suit. (TIME filed a motion to intervene in the case to ensure public access to court records; the motion was denied.)

 

The plaintiffs’ brief, first reported by TIME, purports to be based on sworn depositions of current and former Meta executives, internal communications, and company research and presentations obtained during the lawsuit’s discovery process.It includes quotes and excerpts from thousands of pages of testimony and internal company documents. TIME was not able to independently view the underlying testimony or research quoted in the brief, since those documents remain under seal.

 

But the brief still paints a damning picture of the company’s internal research and deliberations about issues that have long plagued its platforms.Plaintiffs claim that since 2017, Meta has aggressively pursued young users, even as its internal research suggested its social media products could be addictive and dangerous to kids. Meta employees proposed multiple ways to mitigate these harms, according to the brief, but were repeatedly blocked by executives who feared that new safety features would hamper teen engagement or user growth.

 

“We strongly disagree with these allegations, which rely on cherry-picked quotes and misinformed opinions in an attempt to present a deliberately misleading picture," a Meta spokesperson said in a statement to TIME. "The full record will show that for over a decade, we have listened to parents, researched issues that matter most, and made real changes to protect teens – like introducing Teen Accounts with built-in protections and providing parents with controls to manage their teens’ experiences. We’re proud of the progress we’ve made and we stand by our record.”

In Orange County, California, the registrar of voters, Bob Page, said in an email that the state offices and other county departments “stepped up” to support his office “to fill the void left by CISA’s absence.”

The head of the Ukrainian delegation, presidential chief of staff Andrii Yermak, wrote on social media said that they held their first meeting with the national security advisers from the U.K., France and Germany.The allies have rallied around Kyiv in a push to revise the plan, which is seen as favoring Moscow.

 

“The next meeting is with the U.S. delegation. We are in a very constructive mood,” Yermak said. “We continue working together to achieve a lasting and just peace for Ukraine.”

 

Rubio was expected to join the talks together with Army Secretary Dan Driscoll and Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff.

 

Before the meeting, Trump on Sunday used a lengthy online post to blast Ukraine for a lack of gratitude for U.S. military assistance, while notably shying away from criticizing Russia.

 

“With strong and proper U.S. and Ukrainian LEADERSHIP,” Trump wrote, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine “would have NEVER HAPPENED.”

 

Trump also took a swipe at U.S. allies in Europe, writing,“UKRAINE ‘LEADERSHIP’ HAS EXPRESSED ZERO GRATITUDE FOR OUR EFFORTS, AND EUROPE CONTINUES TO BUY OIL FROM RUSSIA.”

 

After Trump's post, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he was “grateful” for U.S.-led efforts on security and praised U.S. leader directly as talks continued.

 

“The leadership of the United States is important, we are grateful for everything that America and President Trump are doing for security, and we remain as constructive as possible,” Zelenskyy said in a post on Telegram.

 

In an earlier post,Zelenskyy also said that there was an understanding the U.S. would take into account “a number of elements” in a peace dealthat are important for Ukraine, but did not elaborate further.

 

“There have already been brief reports from the team about the results of the first meetings and conversations," he said. Ukraine and allies have ruled out territorial concessions

 

The 28-point blueprint drawn up by the U.S. to end the nearly four-year war has sparked alarm in Kyiv and European capitals. Zelenskyy has said his country could face a stark choice between standing up for its sovereign rights and preserving the American support it needs.

 

The proposal, originating from negotiations between Washington and Moscow, acquiesces to many Russian demands that Zelenskyy has categorically rejected on dozens of occasions, including giving up large pieces of territory.

 

The Ukrainian leader has vowed that his people“will always defend” their home.

 

Speaking before Sunday’s talks, Alice Rufo, France’s minister delegate at the Defense Ministry, told broadcaster France Info that key points of discussion would include theplan’s restrictions on the Ukrainian army, which she described as “a limitation on its sovereignty.”

Rubio's reported comments cause confusion

 

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said Sunday that Warsaw was ready to work on the plan with the leaders of Europe, Canada and Japan,but also said that it “would be good to know for sure who is the author of the plan and where was it created."

 

Some U.S. lawmakers said Saturday that Rubio had described the plan as a Russian “wish list” rather than a Washington-led proposal.

 

The bipartisan group of senators told a news conference that they had spoken to Rubio about the peace plan after he reached out to some of them while on his way to Geneva. Independent Maine Sen. Angus King said Rubio told them the plan “was not the administration’s plan” but a “wish list of the Russians.” (So Rubio sabotaged Trump)

 

AState Department spokesperson denied their account, calling it “blatantly false.”

 

Rubio himself then took the extraordinary step of suggesting online that the senators were mistaken, even though they said he was their source for the information.The secretary of state doubled down on the assertion that Washington was responsible for a proposalthat had surprised many from the beginning for being so favorable to Moscow.

 

On Sunday, the top Democrat on the U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee said the peace plan appeared to be “almost a series of Russian talking points,” had made Europeans “feel like they’ve been totally left high and dry” and had led to “ferocious pushback.”

 

U.S. Sen. Mark Warner told ABC’s “This Week” that he thought Trump was “seeing this one-sided plan kind of blow up in his face.”

"If our country falters because it is not ready to accept losing its children (…) or to suffer economically because priorities will shift to defense production, then we are at risk,” Mandon had said Tuesday during the French Mayors’ Congress, according to broadcaster BFMTV.

 

His controversial statement came in a context where he was saying that France has all the expertise, along with economic and demographic strength, "to deter the Moscow regime."

 

"What we lack and this is where you have a major role is the strength of spirit to accept hurting ourselves in order to protect who we are," Mandon underscored.

 

Voicing his "total disagreement" with Mandon's remarks, Jean-Luc Melenchon, leader of the left-wing La France Insoumise (LFI), said that it was "not his place" to urge anyone toward war preparations "decided by no one."

 

"Nor is it his place to forecast sacrifices that would be the consequence of our diplomatic failures, on which his public opinion was not sought! Where is President Macron? Why is he allowing this?” Melenchon wrote on the US social media company X on Wednesday.

 

Communist Party chief Fabien Roussel also described Mandon’s remarks as a “dangerous intervention.”

 

"The answer is NO! Are the 51,000 war memorials in our towns not enough? Yes to national defense, but no to these unbearable warmongering speeches!” Roussel said on X.

 

Speaking on broadcaster LCI, vice president of the far-right National Rally party, Sebastien Chenu, stressed that Mandon has "no legitimacy" to alarm the French people with statements that "in no way reflect the country’s official position."

 

"If he is saying what Macron thinks, that’s serious. If he is saying what Macron does not think, that’s serious. He is overstepping his role!" Chenu added.

Following the criticism, a spokesperson for Mandon said Thursday that the “children” mentioned referred to “the armed forces” as “children of the Nation," according to BFMTV.

 

"Enduring a high-intensity war means anticipating losses. Military losses, economic suffering. (…) A country that is not prepared to understand this is a weak country," Colonel Guillaume Vernet said.

 

Vernet further explained that what Mandon "reminded us was that a country that is not ready to defend itself will be forced to submit."

 

Earlier in October, Mandon also said that the French military must be “ready for a clash in three to four years,” whether as a test already unfolding in hybrid forms or as something potentially more violent.

“On Wednesday, Plaskett downplayed Epstein as just another ‘constituent’, after files released by Epstein’s estate revealed he fed her questions during a congressional hearing in 2019, prompting the call for the House sanction.

 

But exhibits and depositions in a New York court case reveal the convicted pedophile and his associates shoveled at least $30,000 in campaign funds to Plaskett over three election cycles.”

 

In June 2014, then-US Virgin Islands first lady Cecile de Jongh, who managed Epstein’s USVI companies, wrote him on behalf of Plaskett.

 

“Jeffrey, your help is needed. We are trying to get Stacey Plaskett elected to Congress … we would have a friend in Stacey … Do you think any of your friends would give to her campaign?”

 

The letter and other communications were included as evidence in court filings by JP Morgan Chase, which was defending itself against a lawsuit filed the US Virgin Islands.

 

Plaskett received, between 2014 and 2020, donations from Epstein, plus Lesley Groff, lawyer Darren Indyke and accountant Richard Kahn.

 

“Epstein and Plaskett were connected enough that he fed her questions and gave her real time help on how to damage President Trump’s reputation during a February 2019 House Oversight Committee hearing featuring former Trump fixer Michael Cohen.

 

The newly released documents immediately sparked a resolution by Rep. Ralph Norman (R-S.C.) to censure Plaskett, who serves as a non-voting delegate in Congress. It was narrowly defeated on a 209-214 vote amid charges of a backroom deal, with three Republicans joining Democrats in opposition.”

When the Tea Party reassembled in 2016, the grassroots voter base (unvoiced in DC) now had Donald Trump.So, the same UniParty weaponized the DOJ, FBI and Intelligence Community to target, divide and destroy him first (Spygate, Russiagate, Impeachments etc.), until they could get back to targeting us (Arctic Frost).

 

The difference between the Tea Party targeting in 2010, and MAGA targeting 2016-through today,is the pesky impediment called Donald Trump.

 

Review the 15-year history and you will see these commonalities, including DC’s use of Main Justice and the FBI.

The 96-year-old linguistics professor and left-wing philosopher, who has spent his life arguing that America is the most evil country in the world and excusing communist atrocities, described their relationship as “most valuable” and even received around $270,000 from accounts linked to the late financier.

 

The revelations are the result of emails disclosed on November 12th by the Republican members of the House Oversight Committee.

 

“I met Jeffrey Epstein half a dozen years ago,” he wrote in one letter of support for his friend, who was by then a convicted sex offender.

 

“We have been in regular contact since, with many long and often in-depth discussions about a very wide range of topics, including our own specialties and professional work, but a host of others where we have shared interests.”

 

”It has been a most valuable experience for me.”

 

The Guardian, which reviewed the documents, offers further details:

 

Such comments from Chomsky, or attributed to him, suggest his association with Epstein – who officials concluded killed himself in jail in 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex-trafficking charges – went deeper than the occasional political and academic discussions the former had previously claimed to have with the latter.

 

Chomsky, 96, had also reportedly acknowledged receiving about $270,000 from an account linked to Epstein while sorting the disbursement of common funds relating to the first of his two marriages, though the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) professor has insisted not “one penny” came directly from the infamous financier.

 

It is unclear whether Chomsky sent the letter to anyone. Nonetheless, it exalts Epstein for teaching Chomsky “about the intricacies of the global financial system” in a way “the business press and professional journals” had not been able to do. It boasted about how well connected Epstein was.

 

“Once, when we were discussing the Oslo agreements, Jeffrey picked up the phone and called the Norwegian diplomat who supervised them, leading to a lively interchange,” the letter read. The letter recounted how Epstein had arranged for Chomsky – a political activist, too – to meet with someone he had “studied carefully and written about”: the former Israeli prime minister Ehud Barak.

 

Dozens of high profile figures have been revealed to have had long and close relationships with Epstein when he was at the height of his powers.

 

Just this week, Bill Clinton’s former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers stepped down from his teaching role at Harvard University because of evidence showing the extent of their relationship.

Something Sketchy About Narrative Underway Against Deputy AG Todd Blanche

Everyone knows I dislike Main Justice intensely. However,something just is not adding up about these hit pieces being promoted against Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche and claiming investigations against Ed Martin and Bill Pulte.

 

Gateway Pundit has two stories HERE and HERE, essentially using the narrative engineering created by MSNBC’s “Fusion Ken” (Ken Dilanian) HERE. This entire storyline is big time sketchy, including the central character, Christine Bish.

 

The claim is that a federal grand jury organized by DAG Todd Blanche is hearing testimony against Ed Martin and Bill Pulte, following accusations of grand jury leaks surrounding the Schiff mortgage fraud case by both Martin and Pulte. As the story is told, a woman named Christine Bish is the person who tracked the issue and reported the mortgage fraud.

 

When an article includes the phrase,“Bish ended up covering her own costs to travel to Washington, DC, to share what she had uncovered involving Schiff’s alleged mortgage and/or election crimes,” you can be certain something sketchy is afoot.

 

Who exactly would Bish expect to pay for her travel costs?

 

MSNBC has this as written, “Christine Bish, a California realtor who was among the first to level allegations of mortgage fraud against Schiff,was subpoenaed to appear before a grand jury in Greenbelt, Maryland, she told MS NOW in a telephone interview. In lieu of testifying, she opted to sit down with a prosecutor and other federal investigators for an interview, she said.

 

Instead of focusing on the mortgage allegations, she said, the interview centered around her communications with Pulte, Martin and two other men who said they were investigating the issue.”

 

MSNBC narrative engineer “Fusion Ken” is called “Fusion Ken” because he worked with Fusion GPS to manufacture stories – things that could look a certain way if shaped corrected but are entirely false.

 

This story, written as a hit against Ed Martin and Bill Pulte,could just as easily be understood as federal prosecutors questioning the source of information to vet prior political contacts.

 

As I have noted from my own experience with DC federal investigators, they spend a ridiculous amount of time, effort and resources investigating the background of who brings them information, how the information was found and why the information is being brought forward.

The strategy also caused rifts within the bloc itself, with dissenting nations, including Hungary and Slovakia, urging Brussels to reconsider its approach and engage in diplomacy instead.

 

According to Bessent, the US combined its peace initiatives with “pressure” on Moscow.The EU nations were “the real laggards”in this regard, he said, recalling how the bloc’s officials informed him about their plans to introduce the latest round of anti-Russian sanctions.

An urgent safety alert has been issued at wind farms across Australia after asbestos was discovered in Chinese-made wind turbines.

 

The deadly material was first found in brake pads used in wind turbine tower lifts at the Goldwind Cattle Hill wind farm in central Tasmania.

 

WorkSafe Victoria and SafeWork NSW confirmed on Friday that white asbestos was also found at a number of wind farm sites.

 

The state regulators, along with renewable energy company Goldwind Australia, launched an investigation into the issue.

 

Goldwind, which is a subsidiary of Chinese firm Goldwind Science and Technology, claimed the brake pads were supplied by 3S Industry.

 

3S Industry is a major Chinese-based supplier and one of a few brake pad suppliers in Australia.

 

The supplier has provided brake pads to numerous wind farms across the country and has been involved in several projects, including White Rock, Gullen Range and Biala in NSW, Clarke Creek in Queensland, and Moorabool and Stockyard Hill in Victoria.

 

The discovery has sparked fears the problem could be more widespread, with the hazardous material potentially affecting turbines throughout the country.

A former Phoenix TV anchor could spendthe next ten years in federal prison for her role in a $63 million COVID-19-era loan fraud scheme she allegedly engineered with her husband.

 

On Friday, a Fort Worth, Texas, judge sentenced Stephanie Hockridge, 42, a popular KNXV anchor turned “entrepreneur,” to 120 months in the Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas. Some convicts, however, can shorten their time by being model prisoners.

 

The convicted former television presenter will join at least two other high-profile criminals housed there when she reports to the facility on December 30.

 

The minimum-security federal facility is the current home of Jeffrey Epstein collaborator Ghislaine Maxwell, biotech company fraudster Elizabeth Holmes, and Real Housewives reality star and wire fraudster Jen Shah.

 

Shah, however, will reportedly be released from the lockup on December 10, before Hockridge arrives.

 

The judge also ordered Hockridge, who anchored the news at the ABC affiliate for seven years, to pay nearly $64 million in restitution and serve supervised release for two years following her prison term.

 

A jury in June found Hockridge guilty of one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud but also acquitted her on four separate accounts of wire fraud.

 

Hockridge and her husband, Nathan Reis, founded a company in April 2020 called BlueAcorn to ostensibly help small businesses and people access the popular federal Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans during the downturn caused by the COVID pandemic.

 

Federal prosecutors alleged the couple faked “payroll records, tax documents and bank statements” to get larger loans for certain PPP applicants. Then, they charged borrowers a kickback based on a percentage of the loans funded, according to court documents.

 

In total, the Scottsdale company processed more than $63 million in bogus PPP loans, according to federal prosecutors.

 

Hockridge, who was also a former reporter for CBS radio in London, claimed that her actions were a “sincere effort to support small businesses” in dealing with the government bureaucracy in an era of “unprecedented need,” according to the New York Post.

 

But a congressional inquiry reportedly found that BlueAcorn often failed to properly vet applicants and charged success fees to borrowers, which violated Small Business Administration rules.

 

In December of 2018, her ABC affiliate marked the anchor’s departure from the station with the headline, “Thank you! Stephanie Hockridge marks last day ABC15.”

 

In August, Reis, 47, agreed to a plea of conspiracy to commit wire fraudand faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.

UK Study to Give Puberty Blocking Drugs to Children as Young as 10

More than a hundred children as young as ten years old will be subjected to clinical trials of transgender drugs in Britain,despite the government blocking puberty blockers for general use.

 

Last year, a review from leading paediatricianDr Hilary Cass found that transgender medical practices were “built on shaky foundations” and that Britain’s socialised healthcare system should not hand out puberty-blocking drugs to minors over safety concerns. The left-wing Labour Party government agreed and barred the practice for children.

 

However, the Cass review also left the door open for further medical trials to be conducted, paving the way for an upcoming study of 250 supposedly transgender children between 10 and 15 years old after receiving regulatory approval this week, The Times of London reported.

 

According to the paper, over half of the children will be provided with drugs for up to two years to suppress their natural development, like periods, breasts or facial hair. Their brain development and other indicators of health will then be monitored and compared with those of the children who did not take the drugs in their early adulthood.

 

The King’s College team claimed that the study was necessary to provide allegedly trans children with the “information that they need to make informed choices about their care”.

 

The study’s leader, Professor Emily Simonoff, noted that parents will need to provide consent throughout the study.

 

However, she acknowledged that the study could have long-term negative impacts on the children involved, including potential impacts to their fertility, mental development, and bone structure.

 

Yet, Professor Simonoff said that trails would test to see if they would be offset by reduced anxiety and depression with a “better alignment between body features and long-term identity”. (Give the Xanax Not puberty blockers assholes!)

 

The study has sparked swift backlash, including from the political and medical communities.

 

Biology in Medicine doctors campaign group, Dr Alice Hodkinson, said: “There is already clear evidence of harm, and there is no ethical justification for subjecting another 200 children to puberty blockers.

 

“We urge NHS England to stop placing children in harm’s way and to prioritise rigorous analysis of the cohort of 2,000 children who have already received puberty blockers.”

 

Former Prime Minister Liz Truss said, “Just when you think transgender ideology has been vanquished, it rears its head again. Doing this to children is evil. It should be a crime.”

 

In a letter to Health Secretary Wes Streeting, independent MP Rupert Lowe called on the government to step in and halt the trial, expressing “profound concern, and frankly disgust, regarding the decision to authorise a new clinical trial administering puberty-blocking drugs to children”.

 

“This is a deeply unethical experiment, one which must be immediately halted. We cannot further expose children to such harmful medical interventions. This trial is not safe, and it is certainly not ethically defensible. No child is born in the wrong body. To suggest otherwise, in any way, is a wildly irresponsible abuse of power and authority. Normalising this attitude, at all, is immoral and dangerous.”

A volcanic eruption in northeastern Ethiopia sent a large ash plume toward Yemen and Oman, according to officials and experts. No eruptions have been recorded at the volcano in 10,000 years.

 

The eruption at the Hayli Gubbi volcano began at around 8:30 a.m. UTC on Sunday, according to an advisory from the Toulouse Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC). Explosive activity continued through the afternoon, with ash rising to about 45,000 feet (13.7 km).

 

As of the latest VAAC advisory, the eruption was reported to have stopped.

 

Earlier in the day, analysts with GeologyHub, an independent volcanic monitoring group, notified the VAAC after detecting a rapidly growing plume. Officials confirmed the eruption after receiving the alert.

VAAC maps released on Sunday showed lower-level ash drifting toward Djibouti and Yemen. Higher-altitude ash was forecast to move east across Oman and into the Arabian Sea, while some upper-level ash was expected to drift farther northeast toward parts of Iran, Pakistan and India.

 

Hayli Gubbi is located southeast of the Erta Ale volcanic range in the Afar Rift, one of the most volcanically active areas in East Africa. Although the region has frequent volcanic activity, volcanologist Simon Carn said there is no evidence that Hayli Gubbi has erupted at any time during the Holocene period.

 

No impacts on aviation or nearby communities were immediately confirmed. VAAC Toulouse said additional updates will be issued as new satellite data becomes available.

Father of 'Nex' Benedict is a convicted rapist now identifying as transgender

 

James Everette Hughes, who assaulted Benedict when she was nine, has since changed his legal name to Chloe Elizabeth and is listed as “female” on the national sex offender registry.

 

Attention is back on the family of 16-year-old Oklahoma teen Dagny “Nex” Benedict after surfaced records confirmed the teen’s father, convicted years ago of raping Benedict as a child, now identifies as transgender and is registered as a female sex offender.

 

The Distance Magazine showed that James Everette Hughes, who assaulted Benedict when she was nine, has since changed his legal name to Chloe Elizabeth and is listed as “female” on the national sex offender registry. Hughes served five years for the 2019 conviction and received a 10-year suspended sentence.

 

Dagny Benedict died last year from a Prozac and Benadryl overdose, according to the coroner’s report. Her death became a national story, with major outlets framing it as a case tied to bullying, gender identity, and Oklahoma’s policies on biological sex. Benedict had identified as non-binary and had complained for months about harassment at Owasso High School.

 

A day before Benedict’s death, school officials said she was involved in a fight inside the girls’ restroom. Benedict said she poured water on three girls who were mocking her friend, prompting them to attack her. “They came at me,” she told an officer. Her grandmother, Sue Benedict, picked her up from school and later took her to the hospital for evaluation. The school suspended Benedict for two weeks.

 

The next evening, Benedict collapsed in the living room. Emergency responders were unable to revive her.

 

Much of the national conversation that followed focused on supposed “transphobia” as the cause. Politicians and activists highlighted the washroom fight and broader political battles over gender policy. But those narratives largely ignored Benedict’s long history of trauma stemming from the sexual abuse she suffered as a child.

 

Osborne’s reporting also reveals that Hughes was arrested in January 2024 for failing to comply with sex-offender registration rules. Benedict died less than two weeks later. At the time of that arrest, Hughes appeared to be transitioning, with longer hair and softer facial features compared to earlier booking photos.

Police now want to drop charges against a man they arrested last year for wearing a F Israel F Zionism t-shirt. But the man, Andrew Brown, wants his day in court. Michael West reports on a big test for free speech.

 

Andrew Brown was sitting on a wall on Bondi Beach last November wearing a Fuck Israel Fuck Zionism t-shirt when two police officers approached. Although he made no effort to flee, he was arrested, handcuffed and led around Bondi before being plonked in a paddy wagon and taken to Waverley Police Station.

 

The station was just up the road near Bondi Junction but Brown said the trip took 40 minutes, whereupon he was then held in a cell for six hours, DNA tested despite refusing, fingerprinted, photographed, and his shirt was seized as DNA evidence.

 

A year later and costs hurtling towards $1m for the state and Brown, the former Mosman Deputy Mayor and businessman has refused approaches by the Police prosecutor to have offensive conduct charges dropped. He wants his day in court.

 

He wants to win

 

and have it written in NSW Case Law that his conduct was a political statement and does not constitute offensive conduct.

 

The Court has set aside four full days in March at the Downing Centre in Sydney for the hearing. It is likely to involve the Attorney-General with his constitutional experts and solicitors and barristers as Andrew Brown says the NSW Summary Offences charges are overridden by the Constitution and the right to political communication.

 

Media pile-on by usual suspects

The upshot of the arrest and charges was a pile-on by the Israel lobby and right-wing media – Murdoch’s Daily Telegraph, the pro-Israel Daily Mail, 2GB shock jock Ray Hadley and Israel lobby groups on social media – who claimed, despite the clear political nature of Brown’s t-shirt, that it was an act of antisemitism.

 

“I was sitting on the wall at Bondi, doing nothing more dramatic than wearing a shirt. A week earlier a group of AJA activists claimed I had intimidated them. They photographed me. They later said I was offending the public. Yet on both days I had dozens of ordinary people come up to me and thank me for wearing it.

 

“I wanted to give you a clear and honest picture of where things stand with my court matter over the protest shirt that said “Fuck Israel, Fuck Zionism” and why it has grown far beyond a simple offence charge. It has become a test of political speech, police overreach, and the quiet power of a state agency determined to make an example of someone in order to appease a powerful lobby.”

 

NSW Police declined to respond to questions for this story. “As the matters remain before the Court – Downing Centre on 2 March 2026 – we won’t be providing any comment,” said a statement by Police Media.

DOJ Staffer in Texas Arrested on Terrorism Charges After Doxxing Federal Agent During Raid

A U.S. Department of Justice employee has been hit with state terrorism charges afterallegedly doxxing a federal agent during a border raid.

 

This week, investigators with the Cameron County District Attorney’s Officearrested Karen Olvera De Leon on charges stemming from a criminal indictment. Olvera De Leon is an __employee with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Texas in Brownsville___ and is charged with one count of terrorism and one count of tampering with physical evidence.

 

According to information provided to Breitbart Texas by Cameron County District Attorney Luis Saenz, the case began on June 9, when federal agents conducted a raid in Brownsville.During the operation, bystanders began recording and livestreaming.

 

Various social media users began commenting on one of the livestreamswhen one of the commenters made what authorities considered a death threatagainst the agent being shown in the video.Moments after, another commenter revealed the identity of the agent in the video.

 

The doxxing triggered a federal investigation, where authorities were able to track down and identify the commenter as Olvera De Leon. According to Saenz, Cameron County investigators arrested Olvera De Leon after determining that she was the one who had doxed the federal agent.

 

Jail records at the Carrizales Rucker Detention Center in Cameron County revealedthat a local judge set a total bond for Olvera at $20,000 personal recognizance, meaning that she did not have to post a bondand was released with her signature, but if she fails to appear in future court dates, she would be responsible for paying the bond amount.

 

The doxxing case in South Texas comes at a time when federal agents, particularlythose with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and U.S. Border Patrol, have been the target of numerous attacksand threats over immigration enforcement actions.

 

In July, just one month after the doxxing case in Cameron County, a lone gunman in tactical gear stormed a U.S. Border Patrol building next to the McAllen International Airport, Breitbart Texas reported at the time. In that case, the gunman fired numerous shots at law enforcement and into the building. McAllen Police and Border Patrol agents clashed with the gunman and eventually killed him. One police officer was wounded in the shootout.

And so, you look at it from that perspective, there are no illegal orders to follow here. In the event, Martha, if an invasion does take place down in Venezuela against Maduro and we see perhaps the toppling of governments, which we saw many decades ago from what they call the gringo down in Latin America, that would trigger a War Powers Act response by Congress. We would have 60 days if the conflict is still ongoing to determine whether a declaration of war is warranted or an authorized use of military force.

 

RADDATZ: And Congressman, I want to go back to the video and them talking about don’t follow illegal orders. And the president’s response, threatening death, threatening to lock them up, put them in jail. These lawmakers now have 24/7 increased security. What would you say to President Trump about these threats that are continuing?

 

MCCAUL: My advice, though not on his White House, but I would tone down the rhetoric and tone down the theme here. I would emphasize more what I discussed, and that these orders are not illegal. I mean, they have been sent down on a mission to stop drugs from coming into the United States. And if that means, you know, taking out ships through our aircraft and our air force, then so be it. I — again, I think the orders are legal. That’s the issue.

Pressure is increasing for the former Prince Andrew to give evidence to a U.S. congressional committee investigating the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein after Britain´s prime minister suggested he should testify.

 

Keir Starmer declined to comment directly about King Charles III’s disgraced younger brother, but told reporters traveling with him for the Group of 20 summit in Johannesburg that as a “general principle” people should provide evidence to investigators.

 

“I don’t comment on his particular case,” Starmer said. “But as a general principleI’ve held for a very long time is thatanybody who has got relevant information in relation to these kind of cases should give that evidence to those that need it.”(WTF?)

 

The former prince, now known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor,has so far ignored a request from members of the House Oversight Committeefor a “transcribed interview”about his “long-standing friendship” with Epstein. Andrew was stripped of his royal titles and honors last month as the royal family tried to insulate itself from criticism about his relationship with Epstein.

 

Starmer’s comments came after Rep. Robert Garcia of California, the committee’s ranking Democrat, and Rep. Suhas Subramanyam, a Democrat from Virginia, saidAndrew “continues to hide” from serious questions.

 

“Our work will move forward with or without him, and we will hold anyone who was involved in these crimes accountable, no matter their wealth, status or political party,” they said in a statement released on Friday. “We will get justice for the survivors.”

Navy Commissions Final Independence-Class Littoral Combat Ship as Troubled Program Winds Down

The U.S. Navy commissioned USS Pierre (LCS 38), the 19th and final Independence-variant littoral combat ship, on Friday in Panama City, Florida, marking the end of a program that has struggled to meet its original mission objectives.

 

Secretary of the Navy John Phelan delivered the principal address at the ceremony, emphasizing the administration’s commitment to maritime power despite the program’s troubled history. “President Trump is committed to restoring our shipbuilding capacity because he knows that to be a superpower, one must be a seapower,” Phelan said.

 

The commissioning comes as the Navy officially winds down the LCS program after mounting evidence that the vessels cannot reliably perform their intended missions. Originally conceived in 2002 as fast, modular ships capable of mine countermeasures, anti-submarine warfare, and surface warfare operations in littoral zones, the LCS fleet has instead become defined by chronic mechanical failures, underperforming mission modules, and limited survivability.

 

Pierre is the second U.S. Navy ship to bear the name and was built by Austal USA at their Mobile, Alabama shipyard as part of the aluminum trimaran Independence variant. The ship’s sponsor, Larissa Thune Hargens, daughter of South Dakota Senator John Thune, gave the crew the order to “man our ship and bring her to life.”

 

The LCS class consists of two variants: the Freedom-class steel monohull built by Lockheed Martin in Marinette, Wisconsin, and the Independence-class aluminum trimaran built by Austal USA. The ships were designed with modular mission packages that could be swapped to meet different operational requirements.

 

A total of 35 LCS have been constructed, with LCS 31 and 38 in final stages of completion. The Independence variants are homeported in San Diego with Littoral Combat Ship Squadron 1, while Freedom variants operate from Mayport, Florida with Littoral Combat Ship Squadron 2.

 

As the Pentagon shifts focus toward high-end conflict scenarios in the Indo-Pacific, the lightly armed LCS has proven ill-suited for operations against peer adversaries. The Navy is now retiring some hulls early and redirecting investment toward more capable Constellation-class frigates and traditional surface combatants.
