Democrat lawmakers are increasingly turning up the heat on the Trump administration over its series of military strikes on suspected drug-trafficking boats in the Caribbean since September, most recently focusing on alleged drug runners who survived an initial strike and were killed by a follow-up.

 

The White House told Fox News Digital on Friday that the Democrat criticism echoes the "Maryland Man" hoax, referring to the arrest of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an accused MS-13 gang member who was illegally residing in Maryland.

 

Abrego Garcia received an outpouring of support from Democrat lawmakers in March over his deportation to El Salvador, with lawmakers traveling to El Salvador to meet with him, and media outlets describing him as a "Maryland man."

 

Morgan Murphy, an Alabama Republican Senate candidate, told Fox News Digital that he's seeing "utter hypocrisy from a party of theater kids who just don’t care about the lives being lost to the drug trade" when asked about Democrats sounding off about the strikes.

 

"For nearly a decade, Democrats lauded President Obama as the ‘Prince of Peace,’ even though his bomb strikes in Yemen, Pakistan, and Somalia killed hundreds of civilians.

As of Thursday, an estimated 86 suspected drug traffickers have died in the strikes.

Gulf Carbon Fiber Industries Holding LLC (GCFI) today announced plans to develop an integrated advanced composites platform in Qatar, with a total investment of over USD 120 million, focused on production of carbon fiber, Type IV pressure vessels for CNG and hydrogen storage, and high-performance composite solutions for energy, mobility and industrial applications.

 

The program will combine carbon fiber production with downstream capabilities in textiles, prepregs and composite components, including Type IV pressure vessels for CNG and hydrogen storage and other high-value products.

Trump: Obama Went After Roger Clemens; He Should Sue

 

President Donald Trump continued his blistering call for Roger Clemens to be selected for Hall of Fame induction, rebuking the "Obama DOJ" for what he called a "witch hunt," and urging Clemens to sue Major League Baseball if he is frozen out of the honor.

 

"It was the Obama DOJ (of course!) that viciously went after the great Roger Clemens," Trump wrote Sunday afternoon on Truth Social.

 

"ROGER WAS FULLY ACQUITTED OF ALL CHARGES!!! President DJT."

 

Trump's social media posts this weekend urged support for Clemens as the hall was scheduled to announce new inductees Sunday, chosen by its Contemporary Baseball Era Players Committee.

"Roger Clemens, who won 354 games, went through his own Witch Hunt," Trump also wrote on Truth Social.

"HE WAS ACQUITTED OF ALL CHARGES!!! If he doesn't get into the Hall of Fame, he should sue the hell out of Major League Baseball! President DJT."

 

Trump began the campaign with a post Saturday saying the former Major League Baseball pitcher, a seven-time Cy Young Award winner whose legacy has been tainted by accusations of using performance-enhancing drugs, should be permitted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame.

 

The Contemporary Baseball Era Players Committee considers retired players who are no longer eligible for election by the Baseball Writers' Association of America (BBWAA), which nominates recently retired players.

Clemens is among eight nominees on the ballot for the committee. Trump on Saturday dismissed accusations of Clemens' performance-enhancing drug use as "erroneous allegations."

 

"The only reason he is not (in the Hall of Fame) is because of rumors and innuendo, which were not proven," Trump wrote Saturday on Truth Social.

 

Clemens was acquitted in 2012 of federal charges that he had lied to Congress during a 2008 investigation when he denied using performance-enhancing drugs.

 

Others under consideration for the contemporary era committee include Barry Bonds, another former baseball star accused of using performance-enhancing drugs. Like Clemens, Bonds ultimately was cleared of criminal charges related to a steroid investigation.

Clemens and Bonds were named in the 2007 Mitchell Report, which investigated illegal drug use in baseball. Clemens has maintained that he did not use the drugs. Bonds has said he never knowingly took banned substances.

 

In 2022, his last year of eligibility on the BBWAA ballot, Clemens received just 65.2% of the vote, falling short of the required 75% threshold.

The former star pitcher is not the first baseball figure whom Trump has touted as a Hall of Famer despite scandal. Trump earlier this year called for the induction of career hits leader Pete Rose, whose gambling-related ban from baseball kept him out of the hall for decades. MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred lifted Rose's ban after a meeting with Trump.

Ted Sarandos scored a critical sit-down with President Donald Trump in the weeks leading up to Netflix‘s successful $82.7 billion agreement to buy Warner Bros. and HBO Max, according to sources familiar with the confab. The meeting, which took place in the Oval Office and lasted for more than an hour, occurred on Nov. 24.

 

The conversation was intended to cover a range of topics, including the possibility of a federal film tax incentive. However, sources say, much of the talk was about Netflix’s bid for Warner Bros. and HBO Max. A spokesperson for Netflix declined to comment.

 

Sarandos’ meeting with Trump was initially reported by Bloomberg, which said that the Netflix co-CEO left the gathering with “the impression” the streamer “wouldn’t face immediate opposition [to its Warner Bros. bid] from the White House.” Netflix still needs to obtain regulatory approval for the purchase, with critics, including Sen. Elizabeth Warren, already raising antitrust concerns.

 

Sarandos and his wife, former U.S. Ambassador to the Bahamas Nicole Avant, have hosted several Democratic fundraisers over the years, including for former President Joe Biden. But Sarandos has made overtures to Trump’s world. Late last year, the Netflix chief made the trek to Mar-a-Lago to have dinner with Trump ahead of his inauguration.

 

In an interview with Variety last spring, Sarandos declined to give details about their meeting, calling it a “private” meal. Asked if he would ever do a creative project with the Trumps, as the company has done with former President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama, whose Higher Ground has a deal with Netflix, Sarandos demurred.

Boasberg's order effectively clears the way for the government to refund them both in full.

 

The new memo order is likely to be seen as a win by some Trump allies, who have sought to cast Boasberg and other judges who have blocked or paused some of Trump's most sweeping actions as rogue or "activist" judges.

 

"Having viewed the question afresh, the Court now agrees with defendants," Boasberg said Wednesday.

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has filed nearly 5,000 defamation complaints over online comments, Welt am Sonntag reported on Sunday.

 

The newspaper said it had obtained copies of the complaints, police files, and letters from law firms representing the leader of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). The complaints date from 2021 to February 2025, when Merz was serving as a member of the Bundestag.

 

The angry comments that prompted investigations included insults such as “a**hole” and “filthy drunk,” and in at least one case a search of a defendant’s home was later declared unlawful by a court.

 

In another case, police searched the home of an elderly wheelchair-bound woman who had called Merz a “little Nazi,” and confiscated the phone she used to communicate with doctors and caregivers.

 

The number of complaints makes Merz “one of the most sensitive politicians” in Germany’s history, Welt am Sonntag said.

 

A lawyer representing one of the defendants described the investigation as “a complete overreaction of the justice system.”

 

Merz’s approval rating has dropped to 22%, a record low, according to a recent Forsa poll. The coalition government has struggled with the cost-of-living crisis and has been marred by bitter infighting over immigration, as well as pension and military service reforms.

Russia on Sunday issued new statements voicing deep concern over the US force posture in the southern Caribbean, warning against any possible slide toward direct military action.

 

The fresh Kremlin statement said Moscow is standing shoulder to shoulder with Caracas, with a fresh appeal for the Trump administration to avoid exacerbating tensions which could lead to open and unnecessary conflict.

 

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov criticized Washington's desire to establish unconditional dominance in the region, and decried that this has become the norm for the current administration.

 

He warned that "tensions are not easing" and "escalation continues" off Latin America, also after the last few months stretching back to September have seen a string of nearly two dozen deadly US attacks on alleged drug smuggling boats near Venezuela.

 

"This is primarily due to the desire to assert the unquestioning dominance of the United States in the region, this is a trademark of the Trump administration," Ryabkov explained.

 

According to more of his statement:

 

"We express our solidarity with Venezuela, with whom we recently signed a strategic partnership and cooperation agreement," the deputy foreign minister noted.

 

"We support Venezuela, as it supports us, in many areas. In this hour of trial, we stand shoulder to shoulder with Caracas and the Venezuelan leadership. We hope that the Trump administration will refrain from further escalating the situation toward a full-scale conflict. We urge it to do so."

 

The Kremlin in these remarks might also have in mind the just published (on Friday) US National Security Strategy and its significant refocus of America's priorities on the Western Hemisphere.

Hotline claims to have identified more than 200 alleged historical child abuse offenders in secretive Christian sect

 

Jillian Hishon spent 38 years of her life in a secretive sect before she was silenced and removed for marrying an outsider.

 

Very little is known about the group, which goes by various names including The Two by Twos or The Church With No Name.

Grimacing teacher arrested for grooming student on Google Docs before having sex with her INSIDE classroom

 

A disturbed science teacher allegedly groomed an underage student through secret Google Docs messages before engaging in sexual acts with her on and off campus.

 

Elias Gordon Farley, a 26-year-old teacher at Donna Klein Jewish Academy in Palm Beach County, was arrested amid appalling allegations of a sexual relationship with a student.

 

The grimacing teacher was exposed on November 14, after the student showed an art teacher bruises and bite marks she said came from him, according to the affidavit obtained by the Daily Mail.

 

In it, the teen, whose name and age were not disclosed, described their relationship as a typical 'teacher-student dynamic' until it snowballed over the summer.

 

A Google Doc was shared between the two where they allegedly exchanged secret messages, and investigators later revealed it contained 'explicit details' about their acts and meetings.

California Sheriff Chad Bianco Says It Is ‘Time to End’ State Income Tax

 

Riverside County Sheriff and California Republican gubernatorial candidate Chad Bianco announced on Saturday that it is “time to end” the state’s income tax.

 

“It’s time to end state income tax,” Bianco wrote in a post on X. “Tax payers shouldn’t be carrying the burden for Sacramento’s special interests.”

 

Bianco’s website for governor of California states that some of his priorities are to “cut taxes on working families and businesses,” “stop the over-regulation of California’s economy to support job growth and business,” and to “unleash California’s energy resources to lower the price of gas and utilities.”

 

Bianco’s website states:

 

California is the most expensive state to live in America, which explains why from July 2020 and July 2023 we have lost 412,000 people to other states. It is no surprise given residents must deal with the highest income tax and most regulations of any other state. Decades of failed policies, over taxation, and regulations have are causing Californians to leave for greener pastures.

 

When announcing in February that he was jumping into the California gubernatorial race to replace Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA), who is term-limited, Bianco said the state’s residents deserve better than to have to deal with high taxes, increased crime, and “tent encampments in every major city.”

 

“We have to be brutally honest during this campaign, and that includes those in the media,” Bianco said at the time. “It is only our Democrat elected officials who are responsible for the decline of California. What is it that they have given us? Rampant crime, higher taxes, the highest cost of living in our nation, tent encampments in every major city, more fentanyl deaths, catastrophic fires, a broken homeowners’ insurance market, and people across our state are struggling to afford groceries and gas. Californians deserve better.”

 

On the Republican side in California’s gubernatorial race, Bianco is facing opponent former Fox News host Steve Hilton. On the Democrat side, former Rep. Katie Porter (D-CA), former Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Xavier Becerra, and former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa (D) have thrown their hats into the gubernatorial race.

Denmark plans to scale back its military assistance to Ukraine next year, and the amount cut is being widely reported as a huge amount - up to almost half of what's it's been since 2022.

 

According to Danish Broadcasting Corporation, the tiny northern European country has long stood out for its exceptionally high contributions that it made earlier in the conflict, but now the Danish government wants other countries should shoulder more of the burden.

The New York Post is reporting that federal prosecutors are alleging that ChatGPT served as the “therapist” and “best friend” to Brett Michael Dadig, a Pittsburgh man who violently stalked at least 11 women across more than five states.

 

Dadig, 31, is a social media influencer who referred to himself as “God’s assassin” and allegedly would threaten to strangle people with his bare hands.

 

He reportedly used AI to facilitate his conduct and prosecutors say ChatGPT encouraged him to continue his social media posts.

Portugal and France both support EU proposals to use frozen Russian assets to provide loans to Ukraine amid Moscow's all-out war, now well into its fourth year.

Russia terminated decades-old military cooperation agreements with Portugal, France and Canada by decree published on Friday, according to Russian state media.

 

The three agreements signed between 1989 and 2000 are no longer strategically relevant, Russian authorities said.

 

The agreements were signed during a period of improved relations between Russia and the West following the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991.

 

The Canada agreement came just weeks after the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 — which effectively signalled the end of the Cold War — when Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev attempted to mend bridges with Western nations.
