Large, Non-Government Drones Flying In Mysterious Grid Pattern Over Colorado

 

Several of large, non-government drones have been flying in what the Denver Post describes as a 'nighttime search pattern' over northeast Colorado.

 

With estimated wingspans of six-feet, the aircraft have been covering 25-square-mile plots of Phillips and Yuma counties every night between 7 - 10 p.m. for around a week, Phillips County Sheriff Thomas Elliott said Monday, adding that they have received nine calls about the drones since last week.

 

"Theyโ€™ve been doing a grid search, a grid pattern," he said "They fly one square and then they fly another square.

 

Nobody knows who's flying them

 

Several agencies, including the sheriff's office, the Army, the Air Force, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), say they have no knowledge of the mysterious aircraft or who is operating them, however Undersheriff William Meyers suggested that "The estimated size and number of drones makes it unlikely that theyโ€™re being flown by hobbyists."

Hey Mr. President and Q, have y'all considered that you're not communicating with the base of people that have roots in communities that span beyond the work environment?

I just had dinner with some family, and I finally realized the difference between someone that works from a community and one that lives in a community. These people process so much information in their daily lives that they have no idea the root cause of their social drama nor do they understand systemic causation. These people usually have no savviness with the internet, and they don't bring up politics from tv as an unwritten rule. They'll discuss the homeless problem in town, in county, and in cities within the state, but they won't delve into politicians nor their stances. The political realm is so far removed that they're not brought up becauseโ€ฆ I'm getting the sense that they're just not being communicated with by Trump.

I'm suggesting that there's an in between group that could totally be onboard but wouldn't be able to absorb any info from current ops on these boards.

I'm talking about people that would read the newspaper if they could.

I'm suggesting a campaign angle, a Trump campaign newspaper released and distributed to select isolated communities/counties/towns with dense, complex, straight talk.

TV movie is for short attention spanned workers.

The Durham boat โ€œโ€ฆwas the sole means of moving commodities in both directions on the river between Philadelphia and points above tide. The usual length was 60 feet although shorter boats were built and in some cases, the length was extended to 66 feet with sometimes a foot or two added to the normal eight foot width. The usual depth was 42 inches with an additional 10 inches of height at the ends. The boats were shallow draft, three and a half to five inches empty and twenty-eight inches loaded. They normally carried from 15 to 18 tons downstream and 2 tons upstream.

 

On the Delaware, the usual crew was three men. Movement downstream was by the current with occasional use of two 18-foot oars. The boat was propelled upstream by the use of 12 to 18 foot iron-shod setting poles. Twelve inch wide โ€œwalking-boardsโ€ ran the length of the boat on either side. Crew members set their poles on the bottom of the river and walked from the forward end of the boat to the stern, driving the boat forward. The captain, who steered, held the boat from going back with the current with a pole while the crew returned to repeat the process. [5]

 

At one time, there were reportedly several hundred Durham boats on the Delaware River. They sometimes traveled in groups as large as twenty-five so that the crews could aid each other. One observer recalled sitting on the river bank watching a number of Durham boats waiting for a favorable wind, and when a breeze came up, โ€œโ€ฆoff they would go like a flock of sheep.โ€

Maria Butina, the alleged Russian agent arrested by the FBI last week, is said to have attended the National Prayer Breakfast in order to cultivate Republican officials.

 

But Butina is far from the religious groupโ€™s only questionable association.

 

The organization that runs the National Prayer Breakfast, the Fellowship Foundation, sent Rep. Robert Aderholt (R-Ala.) to Romania in May of last year to meet with an infamous anti-Semitic political operative, Marian Munteanu, according to federal travel disclosure records. Once there, Aderholt met with Munteanu on two separate occasions. Other travel records show they met in May of 2015 as well, again at the behest of the organization.

 

The purpose of the trips was to โ€œbuild new and maintain old relationships with business leaders and officials from throughout the region,โ€ according to the travel records.

 

The relationship that the Fellowship Foundation has with Munteanu doesnโ€™t seem to be limited to Aderholt. Last year, Munteanu said in aย postย on his Facebook page that the Fellowship Foundationโ€™s founder, Doug Coe, was a โ€œclose friend.โ€ Also, Munteanuโ€™s personal website includes a photo of him with Coe.

 

Coeย passed awayย last year.

 

Munteanu attended last yearโ€™s National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, according to a Romanianย reportquoting Munteanuโ€™sย Facebook page. The report does not identify who invited him.

 

Neither the Fellowship Foundation nor Aderholt responded to multiple requests for comment.

 

The Fellowship Foundation is a Christian group that counts top business and political leaders among its ranks. It is also famously secretive; its members take aย vowย of silence about Fellowship activities.

 

Last week, TYTย reportedย that the Fellowship sent Aderholt to several eastern European countries shortly after Donald Trump won the Republican primary. TYT alsoย reportedย that the Fellowship, along with its Ukrainian affiliate, sent at least four Republican members of Congress to various eastern European countries, where they worked with political advocates of anti-LGBT policies which could jeopardize E.U. membership.

Steve Bannon, President Trumpโ€™s former White House Chief Strategist,ย toldย The Daily Beastย last week that he plans to spark a political revolution in European politics by starting a right-wing foundation that would rival George Sorosโ€™ Open Society. Bannon said the foundation would be called โ€œThe Movementโ€โ€”similar in name to a political organization Munteanu previously led, โ€œMovement for Romania.โ€

 

Movement for Romania was a far-right, Christian-nationalist organization thatย modeled itselfย on one of Europeโ€™sย largest fascist movementsย of the 1920s through the 1940s, the Iron Guard. While leader of the group, Munteanuย signed a statementย saying that Jews โ€œobtain illicit moneys from Romanian people through disinformation and manipulation of public opinion, with the complicity of treacherous elements who infiltrated the Romanian institutional structures.โ€

 

In April of 2016, Munteanuย criticizedย a law against anti-Semitic speech and Holocaust denial, saying there is hardly any anti-Semitism in Romania, according to aย reportย in the Jerusalem Post citing the Romanian newspaper,ย Evenimentul Zilei.

 

Explaining his rationale, Munteanuย said, โ€œWe are all philo-Semites because we are all Christians.โ€

 

The Jerusalem Post also cited a report in Romaniaโ€™s national news agency, Agerpres, that The Elie Wiesel National Institute for the Study of Holocaust said Munteanu โ€œpresents a concernโ€ for statements โ€œminimizing or denyingโ€ the Holocaust.

 

On May 29, 2017, Aderholtโ€™s originally planned itinerary describes a lunch with Munteanu for the purpose of โ€œCatching up on spiritual and personal lives and current events.โ€ The day prior, Aderholt attended a dinner with Munteanu. The original itinerary noted it as โ€œDinner with long term friendsโ€ and listed Munteanu as a host.

Several months prior, Romania had been rocked by the largest protests in decades in response to a decree issued by Grindeanu thatย decriminalizedย certain forms of corruption,ย protecting dozensย of politicians from prosecution. Less than one month after Aderholtโ€™s visit, Grindeanu was forced out by an overwhelming vote of no confidenceโ€”241 to 10.

 

On three separate occasions, from May 27 to 29 of 2016, Aderholt met with former defense minister of Albania, Fatmir Mediu. Like Grindeanu, Mediuโ€™s government role came to an abrupt end: He resigned in 2008 after an arms dump he was in charge of accidentallyย exploded, raining shells on nearby villages, killing 16 people, injuring almost 300, and destroying homes.

 

Later in 2008, a U.S. envoyย accusedย Mediu of covering up an illegal arms deal. Albaniaโ€™s prosecuting general alsoย reportedlyย launched an investigation into Mediuโ€™s personal finances, citing discrepancies.

 

On May 27, 2016, Aderholt met with Nenad Popovic, the pro-Russia president of the Serbian Peopleโ€™s Party. Popovic, who isย saidย to be Serbiaโ€™s wealthiest politician, was reportedly implicated in the Paradise Papers leak. The documentsย reportedlyย show Popovic relying on offshore tax havens to stash his wealth.

 

On June 1, 2016, Aderholt met with Rinat Akhmetov, whom Forbes currently ranks as theย 334th richestย person in the world, and is known as Ukraineโ€™sย wealthiestย citizen. Akhmetov reportedly had ties to the corrupt, pro-Russia Viktor Yanukovych, the former Ukrainian president who was ousted after mass protests in 2014. According to a leaked diplomatic cable, then U.S. ambassador to Ukraine John Herbstย calledย Akhmetov the โ€œgodfatherโ€ of Yanukovychโ€™s political party, which Herbst described as a โ€œhaven for Donetsk-based mobsters.โ€

The national press for the past two months has roasted "hypocritical" Christians who live in or meet in a ministry-owned house on C Street two blocks from the U.S. Capitol. Nevada Sen. John Ensign and South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford, both talked about this spring as potential GOP presidential candidates in 2012, have acknowledged adulterous relationships. Last month a lawsuit in Jackson, Miss., served notice that former Rep. Chip Pickering, also a Republican, may have carried on in the C Street house an illicit affair with a former college love interest (seeย "Alienation of affection").

 

Sustained media attention has focused on whether the C Street house conclaves had contributed to or condoned the breaking of marital vows: Just what was in the water at C Street to prompt the three-all GOP political and social conservatives who a decade ago called for former President Bill Clinton's resignation-to fall into similar scandals of their own?

 

But adultery is not new in Congress or in the church, and aside from three men shattering their families' lives, a larger story emerged of the group behind the C Street row house: a 60-year-old, globally reaching organization that has muddy theology and a disdain for the established church.

 

The C Street house is one of many properties in the greater Washington area owned by the Fellowship Foundation, which sponsors the annual National Prayer Breakfast, Bible studies, social gatherings, and private retreats, and funds international development.

 

"Associates" (employees) of the Fellowship say its mission is to show the love of Jesus to the world's leaders. But it has no website to publicize that work, and those affiliated are extremely reluctant-if not prohibited, say some-to talk about it.

Former U.S. Senate chaplain Richard Halverson was one of the first to join the Fellowship under founder Abraham Vereide in the 1950s. Halverson, before joining the organization, had prayer groups of his own with movie stars in Hollywood.

 

Vereide, looking for someone to partner with in a similar mission in Washington, chose Halverson. Privacy became a trademark of the Fellowship's prayer groups, something that grew into an obsessive culture of secrecy in the organization itself, Halverson's son Chris told WORLD. "If you talked about it, you would destroy that fellowship," he said.

 

Washingtonians who know about it think of C Street as a kind of "Christian frat house," according to Michael Cromartie, vice president of the Ethics and Public Policy Center, who has been close with members of the Fellowship for over 20 years. But Cromartie also noted, "It is a virtue to try to be anonymous in a town where self-promotion is so often theย modus operandiย of many who come to work among the powerful."

 

At the center of the group is Doug Coe, who joined in 1959 at the age of 30 after working with The Navigators, and a decade later was heading the organization. Now 80, those who know him describe him as warm and charismatic with a dominating personality. He has no obvious successor.

 

Coe declined to be interviewed by WORLD for this article.

 

House members Zach Wamp, R-Tenn.; Bart Stupak, D-Mich.; Mike Doyle, D-Pa.; and Heath Shuler, D-N.C., are reportedly current C Street residents. Senators Tom Coburn, R-Okla.; Jim DeMint, R-S.C.; and John Ensign, R-Nev. reportedly also live there. All have been repeatedly contacted by WORLD in the wake of the scandals and have declined personally or through spokespersons to be interviewed on the record about the group.

"I've often said that if they would simply get a website, that would answer a lot of questions," said D. Michael Lindsay, a Rice University sociologist who spent three years studying the Fellowship. "Since so little is known about it, that tends to inspire conspiracy theories. They don't respond to criticisms, so people think the worst."

 

Another lawmaker with long ties to the group, Oklahoma Republican Sen. James Inhofe, told WORLD he wanted to talk about the group because he is tired of the conspiracy theories.

 

Inhofe, 74, attends a weekly Fellowship study that does not meet at C Street: "We talk about our families, we talk about our backgrounds, we talk about our faith. We get together and support each other and pray together. There is nothing new and sinister about this."

 

Inhofe insists the groups are private-not secretive: "We talk about things we don't talk about in public."

 

Other regulars say associates reprimand them for using the term "the Fellowship," and tell them to call the group "the Family."

Today members emphasize that there is no overriding organization, only brothers and sisters with the Holy Spirit guiding them. Others say the nonprofit organization is like a starfish, with no head, where an arm can be cut off, but another sprouts in its place. The "starfish" principle places emphasis on decentralization, but according to current tax documents, the organization does have a board of directors and had $19 million in revenue in 2007 (see sidebar below).

 

Eric Fellman, a Fellowship employee for 11 years who remains on the board, said a budget committee (on which he serves) reviews all the organization's funding activities.

 

When Fellman first joined the organization in 1997, he said Coe had discretion over about $2 million of a $10 million budget. Now he said each "relationship building" project of the Fellowship has a "core" group that oversees it without Coe's direct supervision. But Coe's blessing is vital to some ministry opportunities-he has access to donors, and sometimes people come to him seeking funds for, say, a relationship-building trip to India with lawmakers.

 

"He would think about it and pray about it, and he might say no," said Fellman. "They might get upset about it. He may have made a mistake. [But] he made that judgment out of his prayer and relationship with the Lord."

 

In addition to the house on C Street and other properties, relationship building takes place at the Cedars, the organization's $7.8 million headquarters. A mansion tucked away in Arlington, Va., it once belonged to U.S. statesman and founding father George Mason.

Well-knowns ranging from Michael Jackson to Hillary Clinton have escaped to the Cedars for refuge. Couples rotate as hosts at the mansion for two-week stints and welcome any visitors as "part of the Family."

 

Young women who live at a boarding house called Potomac Point down the street work dusting shelves, scrubbing dishes, and making meals at the Cedars. Young men who live down the street at a separate house called Ivanwald tend the grounds carrying leaf blowers. The mansion's carriage house holds administrative offices.

 

The Fellowship also owns a house in the high-crime northeast Washington neighborhood of Trinidad, where students come for afterschool programs that sometimes include a field trip out to swim at the Cedars. The group began Jonathan House, a home for young Christian men named after Coe's deceased son and now operated by Washington Community Fellowship. And in Annapolis it owns homes for young people to live in and receive mentoring under the Wilberforce Foundation.

 

The house on C Street is listed under the ownership of the Fellowship's C Street Center, an IRS-registered church, though the house doesn't fit the traditional definition of a church. Residents pay about $950 in rent, and the lawmakers who live there aren't performing sacraments or affirming any sort of church creed or authority. That, critics say, is part of the problem. Fellman said the house was zoned as a church when the Fellowship purchased it, and there was "something like a 12-year wait" to change the zoning designation because it is a historic property.

But the lack of church discipline and structure is "a serious missing element in this whole thing, both in the lives of the individuals involved, and in the Fellowship organization as a whole," said Rob Schenck, who heads D.C.-based Faith & Action and hosts a Bible study with lawmakers on Capitol Hill. The church offers unique structures for accountability, said Schenck, "because that's what it's designed to do." Though lawmakers may spend weekdays in Washington and fly home to their districts to attend to constituents and see their families, Schenck contends that the pace is not an insurmountable obstacle to maintaining church relationships.

 

"Does this provide an enabling environment? Or does this provide an environment of discipline? I've seen it do both," said Halverson about the Fellowship.

 

With his father's influence, Halverson, 65, became involved in Fellowship activities at age 18 but left the group a little over 10 years ago. He said he felt marginalized after his father's 1995 death, could no longer afford to live in the Cedars neighborhood, and was increasingly bothered by what he described as the group's "pathologies"-its obsession with privacy and problems in the areas of discipline, accountability, and theology. The gospel of the cross, he said, looked more like "the gospel of the kingdom of God triumphant."

 

Halverson can recite the organization's "catechism" by heart: "What is the purpose of life? To love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. What is the gospel? The gospel is the person of Jesus Christ. What is the work of God? The work is to believe in Him who He has sent."

 

And among the Fellowship's three leaders, his father was the only one to have obtained a seminary degree. Richard Halverson was a full-time pastor (serving at Fourth Presbyterian Church in Bethesda, Md., for 23 years before he became the Senate chaplain). He worked behind the scenes and deferred to the leadership of Vereide or Coe-neither of whom had theological training. The Fellowship reported a $2.5 million surplus on $19 million in revenues, according to its most recent tax filing in 2007. The organization operates as a grant-making entity, sending checks annually to more than 50 nonprofits in the United States and around the world. It is best known for its Washington, D.C., activities like the annual National Prayer Breakfast, on which the Fellowship spends about $1 million. It also funds a variety of properties, events, and traveling abroad.

 

It draws its fundraising revenue mainly as missionary-type support; individuals in the organization raise money for, say, a trip to Brazil, and donors make their checks out to the Fellowship or its alternate name, the International Foundation. Nonprofit 501(c)3s like the Fellowship aren't supposed to funnel donations to non-501(c)3s, but in 2007 the Fellowship granted $1.2 million to a Ugandan charity called Cornerstone Development. Granting funds to foreign charities is legal, though the IRS has imposed more restrictions on those transactions since 9/11. Cornerstone on its website directs its donors to give to the International Foundation, with a note that it is for Cornerstone. "This is a US registered nonprofit that passes on to us 100% of the donation. And you will receive a tax-deductible receipt from them," the site explains.

 

Because the Fellowship is so diffuse, people all over the world oversee different grants. Charles McLeod, for example, lives in Rochester, Mich., and he receives a number of checks for grants to various organizations at his home.

 

"I like to send a personal note with a check," he said. "We're all trying to do it through relationships."

 

On a dead end road in Annapolis, Md., reside the leaders of another public charity affiliated with the Fellowship, an even lower-profile group called the Wilberforce Foundation.

Comey or 'Corney'? Stalking a Half-Popped Kernel of a Deep-State Kerning Conspiracy

 

We know a few things for sure, beginning with the fact that quiet changes have been made in the blockbuster report on FBI spying abuse released two weeks ago by the Department of Justice Office of Inspector General. We also know that while the IG has acknowledged many little revisions, one of the most significant has happened without official notice or comment: the odd and mysterious case of Comey vs. Corney. Before diving into that, as a reporter who has spent years covering the whole Russia-FBI-FISA-Steele-Ohr-Simpson-Comey-et al.-gate story, let me begin by admitting the obvious: It is crazy-making. The regular occurrence of improbable strangenesses is enough to make one think that those with tin chapeaux and aluminum curtains are onto something.

 

Take the most recent baffling curiosity, the fact that the name โ€œComeyโ€ โ€“ as in former FBI Director James B. Comey โ€“ didnโ€™t appear once in the 476 pages of the report released Dec. 9 on the FBIโ€™s abuse of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court. Or so it seemed. Sure, there are many references to the former FBI director in it. But search for โ€œComeyโ€ and your computer tells you there is no such word in the document. By contrast, search for โ€œCorneyโ€ and you get nearly 150 results โ€“ results that all look like โ€œComey.โ€ What gives? Perhaps it is just an Optical Character Recognition (OCR) problem. A PDF is not a word-processing document made up of so many individual letters. Instead, a PDF is an image, often an image of text. To search such an image of text, computers use OCR to analyze the shapes of the little squiggles and identify them as letters. Once the letters are known they can be searched.

 

So, could the Comey/Corney conundrum be an OCR problem? โ€œNooooooooope!โ€ is the emphatic answer of โ€œu/Lumyai,โ€ writing at the โ€œconspiracy reddit.โ€ The argument that follows is compelling. The poster counted up the 23,851 โ€œmโ€™sโ€ and found the only ones represented as โ€œrnโ€ were those in โ€œComey.โ€ Also, there are some 2,000 instances of โ€œrnโ€ in the document but only in Corney/Comey is the โ€œrnโ€ combination mistaken for an โ€œm.โ€ u/Lumyai offers examples of some of the many words in the Horowitz report where the computer has no trouble making out โ€œrโ€ and โ€œnโ€ without confusing the two together as an โ€œmโ€: attorney, government, concerned, international, and earnest.

 

Itโ€™s almost enough to make one agree with u/Lumyaiโ€™s conclusion โ€“ that someone has doctored the text in โ€œan intentional conspiracy to shield James Comey from key-word searches.โ€ This might be done, a graphic designer who does typesetting for publications tells RealClearInvestigations, by including an invisible layer of searchable text under the unsearchable, visible image of text. For example, the visible layer would have an image that looks like the name โ€œComeyโ€ but under it, in the invisible layer, is the text โ€œCorney.โ€ But what would be the point? I rather doubt that U.S. Attorney John Durham is going to be fuzzled by a trick keyword search. Chances are he will have read the complete Horowitz report and seen all the passages that reference James Comey, even if Corney/Comey confuses the computer. If there has been a conspiracy, it has failed, perhaps because of the conspiracy-theorists who have been drawing attention to the strange spelling of Comey in the digital version of the Horowitz report.

 

But most important, the document has been changed. Sunday evening, I went to show my brother-in-law the Comey/Corney effect and what did I find but that it had disappeared. When the report was initially released two weeks ago, it was dated, at the bottom of the cover page, โ€œDecember 2019.โ€ It now reads โ€œDecember 2019 (Revised).โ€ The revisions are listed on a new page before the Executive Summary. They are mostly persnickety, minute changes meant to make the document, very strictly speaking, correct. For example, the OIG states, โ€œOn pages iv, xvi, 400, and 407, we changed the phrase โ€œbefore and afterโ€ to โ€œboth during and after the time.โ€ On some four different pages the OIG changed the solid โ€œhad no discussionโ€ to a squishy โ€œdid not recall any discussion or mention.โ€ And if you check page 370, youโ€™ll find that โ€œassertionโ€ has been replaced with โ€œstatement.โ€

The organization has no conflict-of-interest policy. The Fellowship does, but employs 11 of Doug Coe's family members-his sons, a daughter, daughters-in-law, and five grandchildren, as of the 2007 return.

 

The Wilberforce mission is to "aid, train, educate, and encourage young people in the principles of faith and relationship skills [and] provide food and shelter if needed." But Eric Fellman, a board member who helps oversee the budget, said the Maryland-based organization was set up "to hold properties," because under D.C. liability law, all of the Fellowship's assets could be accessed to cover a lawsuit. So if someone were injured at one of the Wilberforce properties and sued, only the Wilberforce assets would be fair game.

 

The C Street Center has no publicly accessible financial records because it is registered as a church with the IRS. Fellman said the Fellowship is audited every year by an independent firm.

It might or might not be unacceptable monopolization for the rail industry to do this or the cotton industry to do that, but the media is supposed to be diverse. Rail and cotton aren't really supposed to be all that diverse, but media should be. Because media should be diverse, it's important that there be a very wide variety or media owners. There absolutely must be a large assortment of different voices, and if there isn't, there is illegal monopoly or oligopoly.

 

If 6 cotton giants control 99% of the cotton, so what? Cotton is cotton (except when a clothing manufacturer is lying, and selling poly as cotton). But news is not just news, there is always some sort of viewpoint embedded somewhere, even if great pains are taken to remove it. That's why you need to have the widest variety of real choices. You need this in tv shows, and movies as well. Not all movies are the same, they are at least slightly more different than different types of cotton or different types of rail transport.

 

When there's oligopolization in rail or cotton, you end up with slightly higher prices - no competition means you can set the prices higher. But with few different voices in media, what you get is brainwashing.

 

Trump, despite getting royally ass fucked over and over by these packs of Jews, is still doing nothing about this obvious problem.
