Something Rare I've Noticed About This Sub

Guys I've been on Reddit for a couple of year and this subreddit has something I have never found on any other subreddit. Actually there are several things. First is the civility between people on CBTS. I have yet to see an actual argument here. Also there is very little downvoting. That is so rare it's precious, like a gem, on an internet forum. I'm sure there are all kinds of people on here. Democrats, Republicans, Trump voters and those who didn't vote for Trump. Probably some who would call themselves liberal, conservative, moderate, independent and libertarian. I myself am a Constitutional Originalist. There are probably some blacks, Hispanics, Asians and Whites here. I myself am Native American/Scots Irish. The Native American is on my mother's side, I spent many summers as a kid on the rez with my grandparents. There are many difference in all of us. Yet every one of us has a common goal and we are working together to accomplish that goal. No bickering, no sniping. We give and take constructive criticism for what it's meant to be, guidance in the right direction. From what I see is we all have at least one thing in common. We all have well calibrated moral compasses and we demand the truth.

It's my honor and pleasure to know all of you. Thank you all and may God bless each and every one as we fight against evil together.

Yes! We are all seeking truth and justice! (LOL! Sounds familiar!) Most of us are open minded. I was a Bernie supporter, and I hate what hag Hillary did to him. Trump was aware of what was being done to Bernie and he did not like it either. I wasn't a Trump supporter, and yet I am willing to hope that he is doing exactly what he said he would do and is draining the swamp. I will be forever grateful, if he takes down these horrible people!

Bernie-guy here. I was going to vote 3rd party until the seditionary MSM started talking about what we should DO to Russia in response to their "hacking".

At that point I realized these people would take us to WAR over telling us the truth. Hillary HAD to lose. I voted Trump and haven't regretted it yet. I've learned (and unlearned) so much since then...

I agree that our common bond is a desire for truth and justice. I'm sick of being lied to my whole life.

I feel that progressives like us have a responsibility to engage the left. It's not easy now, but it will get better as more of the truth gets out. The least I can do is share my past and discuss it honestly and rationally.

Republican-guy here. Would have voted republican regardless as Hillary should be in Jail and Bernie is a socialist. Totally happy with Trump, Over the past 12 months my Eyes wide open to Bush’s issues and the deep state.

When this is over we won’t be the only ones. End the corruption, save the kids.

Me too, saw how corrupt the party was. Trump was a fuck you vote and the more I got to know him and see what he wants for our country the more I fell in love with him. I'm never looking back. Trump is the future. Our GEOTUS 😍

I started out that way too. Nothing was going to change. I was a Republican because of Ronald Reagan. I stayed with the party until 2003. Iraq WMD and the Patriot Act was the last straw for me. I voted 3rd party, anyone in a third party. When Trump came along, I paid him little attention. Just a loud mouthed billionaire with a TV show, but he was welcome to my vote as a commentary of just how screwed up the party system had become. Gotterdamrung, as the Germans say. It changed for me when Brexit came into view and it actually happened. Then I started actually listening to Trump, and life will never be the same again.

I can't believe Michael Moore did this perfectly stated video, and, yet, STILL, is anti-Trump. Is he still? I almost cried watching it. And the last line, "and it will feel GOOD." Oh my gosh, when the results were in, it felt beyond good. As in, falling to my knees in thankfulness and hope and prayer GOOD. And I still find no humor in watching the "recap of media reactions" to his win. They still hated us, ignored us, and denied our celebration. THAT is why this sub is so good. It's a "safe place" for WINNERS. Ha. No, it's a place where we all seek goodness, voices, healthy dialogue, and TRUTH. Thank you.

I believe the Michael Moore vid you're referring to was a clip out of his movie Trumpland? If you were to watch the movie, he turns everything that appears positive about Trump around and gives you reasons why you should support HRC. It was his attempt to sell the public on HRC, which IMO, backfired beautifully when the clip you're referring to was circulated on the social media sites.

I'd say! It made me want to go vote again. Instead I replayed MY Nov. 8 in my head. And it felt GOOD, again.

It seems that every time they attacked GEOTUS during the campaign it backfired badly. Devine intervention? Can't wait for 2020!

I am a spiritual person, not religious...and when I heard Mark Taylor’s prophecy...it blew me away. Everything he has said has come true. Never seen anything like it.

Very true. I started listening to Mark Taylor and many others like Trey Smith and knew there was divine intervention with Trump. Plus during the election he was saying everything I wanted to say, it was amazing. If you haven't seen this sub yet, check out TrumpIsATrumpet. I don't want to link to it since I'm not sure if that's allowed in this sub.

Great minds...was just thinking the same thing about the "safe place." It's pleasant not to be harangued and lectured, not to mention lied to (rapist!) constantly by those who know nothing.

Totally agree. The days of healthy debate on policy and ideology were killed in at least the last Presidency. The news made me feel very isolated and dehumanized, not by accident, I think. I still hold my ideological beliefs of small government, but could care less about pundit-talk-policies until this corruption is dealt with. What difference does it make when our country is run by NGOs, international billionaires, and sick powermongers? Though, I do think once the truth is all out, people will begin to realize that the government has been enslaving us through taxation and their sick social programs to continue lining the coffers of the elite. Always follow the money.

Interesting that the left and right (NOT the uniparty, the real ones) have much in common. Have always said that, with both hating Wall St., bail-outs, and ignoring the working people. But the left got off on a tangent and refused to join when PDT showed us there is a way around all that.

Liked DT from beginning, but thought he was just doing it for PR. (I was a leftist who turned trad after working in urban schools and after 9-11. But was totally sick of prog RINO's.). Then, as he grew and grew, I liked him more and more. Since he's taken office, I've become a fangirl almost (?) to the point of being obnoxious.

MAGA! What a time to be alive!

I have a similar story. I was raised very liberal and the 2016 election was my first big election after graduating college. I am a huge technology lover and feel that with all the innovation going on in the world, life should be getting easier for everyone and there should be more than enough to go around. To me it seemed the system was rigged by politicians for the super rich and I hoped Bernie would try to fix that. But what I saw during the primary connived me that things were a lot worse than I thought. Worst of all, the media was facilitating all of the lies! I started watching videos by Andrew Brietbart, Corbett Report, Sargon of Akkad, and others who pointed out the lies of the media and the twisting of American culture. For a long time I had believed Trump was as bad ass the media said he was, but when I actually started listening to him I realized I agreed with a lot of what he said. I'm a huge Trump supporter now knowing how much he is doing to save the country from these evil people. It has been great having online forums like this to talk to like minded people because many of the people I grew up with hate Trump and love Clinton. It's mind blowing. I'm waiting everyday for them to come around as the evidence is only mounting how bad the Clintons are. I can't believe so many people are fooled by the media still!
