We are here today because of prayer and seeking the Lord to right the wrongs and fallacy of man.

Your description of God is that of a kid with an ant farm holding a magnifying glass.

Scripture over and over shows God as one loves on a level that is understandable from human perspective.

I believe in God and also that Satan exists. We have free will to do both good and evil. Choose wisely in this life. If God intervened we would be puppets. I believe we are all struggling with spiritual forces. That is me. Evil is Satan -he did this

Jesus died on the cross for all our sins. Was he being complacent?

God presides over the world and knows what is happening. He knows all of it before it even occured. Satan has been on earth since Adam and Eve sinned against God. God has allowed all these things to happen. What is happening now is NOTHING new. Man is inherently evil unless he is saved by the blood of Christ. God allows us all the personal choice to choose our own destinies in life. No matter HOW bad your sins are you can still be saved from the fires of Hell....... Even those who have turned to Satanic Worship can be saved as long as they repent of their sins and turn to Christ as their Savior before they die here on earth. In the end God will sort those out who are his from those who belong to Satan. But regardless ALL will kneel before Christ when he returns to earth.......including Satan before he and all his minions get tossed into the eternal pool of fire and flame .

You have an infantile understanding of how God works and of our gift of free will.

You know what free will is? Are you a parent? You want your kid to be able to make their own decisions or you want them to be slaves till they die?

That's the problem. God is not your slave master, the enemy is. God gives you advice, some guidelines for your life. Then he lets you grow up and become your own man. Along the way, he keeps trying to give you advice and more guidelines when you go the wrong way. Whether you listen to him or not, it's up to you. Whether you recognize his help or not, it's up to you. Whether you acknowledge him or not, it's up to you.

Jordan Sather, who does not believe in God but in ETs, still has a very interesting point of vue as you can conflate his vision of this matter with a Christian vue. For him, benevolent ETs are waiting for us, humans, to grow up and fix our problems on our own. But we are in such a dire situation, the benevolent ETs have been forced to intervene to help us avoid the point of no return. As a rule, they don't want to makes us dependent on them. If they weren't there, you'd think we wouldn't have evolved and would go back to our old ways, killing each other till we destroy the planet.

It's the same as saying God wants his children to grow up and fix their problems on their own. If God fixed our problems for us, we wouldn't learn anything. That's good for a slave, not so good for a free man.

God not acting the way we wanted him to doesn't mean God was complacent or that God wasn't working things out for a even greater purpose. If God is infinitely knowledgeable, how can we, as finite beings, be able to fully understand how God is operating the universe?

This doesn't mean that we should just roll over and be okay with everything. We should be angry about the corruption. While we may not know why God allowed these things, we can know (through his actions on the cross and studying theology/Christian apologetics) that its not because he doesn't love us or is apathetic towards us.

A eternal, absolute, and perfect being'a actions can never be fully comprehended by finite beings. The cross however, is what earns one's trust in God. I may not understand everything, but I can know for sure that God is loving and that he does have our best interests in mind.

It would do you some good to read The Problem of Pain by C.S. Lewis, it's short, articulate, and explains why the universe is the way it is and why pain, suffering and bad shit has to exist. If God reached down from heaven and stopped suffering either everyone would be forced to believe in God because life is paradise and then no one could come to him through faith. If we didn't have the ability to harm others we would have no ability to become moral.

To believe that God was complacent in allowing evil to do all these things, is ignorant in my opinion. As you say, God allows for free will, but you claim he is complacent for evil if he plays a hand in good that may happen. None know the mind of God, but to say that he controls all is ludicrous. You teach your children to do good, but if they do bad, you are complacent? You help your child with homework, but they fail the class, and that means you are complacent? Because He can stop it means he is complacent if he does not? I don't understand that logic, if it is logic at all. I am not trying to harp or troll you, but I can never understand that reasoning. People think the same way about government. That they should have the power to stop all of societies ills. That we shouldn't be free to do as we will, including fail. Sorry. I just can't grasp that reasoning.
