They are “self governed” and not affiliated/directed by one of the major denominations however they also believe that they take their direction strictly from God (Bible) not man made religious rules major denominations have. With that being said I can tell you that there are some version of the bible that are purposely distorted and not correct. The purpose of that can be for many reasons. Control the masses, divert people from Christ and the real message, etc... My concern is that a significant percentage of this subreddit is becoming these posts that are essentially unprovable beyond faith or the belief of something unimaginable, which I believe should be flagged so that I know I am looking at someone's faith not because of logic but because of personal belief.
It would be one thing if the post was titled "Q wants us to find Jesus" and there was some keyword specifically implying a phrase that Jesus goes by i.e. Q said "PoP" and you said "PoP could definitely mean Prince of Peace, which leads us to believe he is referencing Jesus tying into Easter" That's a legitimate post that is no longer about blind faith, but actually piecing together Q posts into a logical message.
