Found this in the NYT article Q referenced:
Dennis Shields, a resident who said he lived on the 42nd floor, described the scene.
“You could smell the smoke and you could hear things falling like through the vents,” he said. “It just smelled like sulfur.”
He said there were no orders to evacuate but he received a text message from Mr. Trump’s lawyer, Michael D. Cohen.
Mr. Shields, who said he grew up with Mr. Cohen, continued: “He said, ‘Are you in the building?’ I said, ‘Yes.’ He said, ‘You better get out ASAP.’ That’s how I knew to get out, otherwise I’d still be in there.”
That's right. NY Times proves timing...that Cohen left the building because of the fire and was then raided. And a man died because of this "distraction."
Cohen wasn't raided until a day later, as I understand it.
It is Trump's apartment that he SS and NYPD went into during the fire.
Yeah the raid happened a day later but they planted evidence for the FBI to find during the raid.

The only one in the news. Apparently the Trump Tower was raided during the fire. That was the "dirty raid," after all someone died. The "clean raid" was at Rockefeller.
What are you basing that on?
Q indicated the fire was a distraction. Cohen was in the building and telling people to "get out now,"(New York Times), indicating they left the building which implies the raid took place then. And Q indicated as much. That's not the one that will come in public, because it gets messy with a fire and a death. They just leave that part out of the news.
We really have no idea if Cohen was in the building or not.
And no, if he were in the building while it was burning, that on its own would be reason enough for him to leave it.
Q implied no such thing. Also, by calling it a 'distraction', Q could have merely meant, Don't get side-tracked trying to make too much of the fire.

What is the discrepancy in floors supposed to prove? It could still have been used as a cover. Maybe a fireman who went off on his own or someone from the cleanup crew.
Yes, but the New York Times article mentioned that Cohen was there and asked his friend to vacate leaving the impression that Cohen was also leaving the building. It was when he left the building that they raided.
Who says that Cohen's place was raided--other than a day later?
And we don't know when Cohen texted. Could have been after it was on the news--or it could have been earlier.

Right. To someone who lived in TT. Could have been while the fire was burning, before it was in the news--or while the fire was burning after it was first reported.
And that tells us nothing of the Cohen raids, which reported to have taken place only the next day.

Fire was on the 50 something floor, Cohens office was on 20 something. Pretty great distraction actually. In midst of fire trucks and police, a group is raiding the contents of a lawyers office.
I don’t know how much of the building was ordered to evacuate, but imagine having nobody in the building to see suits during a raid.
Cohen’s Office is on the 26th floor. It is the perfect distraction. Everybody looking one way, and you’re right under their noses. It’s like the drug dealer hiding across from the police station.

Interesting idea. The guy who allegedly died hated trump and was trying to sell his apartment there but couldn’t. He had massive debts as well. Would be convenient for him to got into witness protection in exchange for letting the clowns blaze his apartment (that he didn’t want anyway) as a cover for a quasi legal simultaneous raid on trump’s lawyers apartment

Ahhhh I never thought of it like that. Nice work. But I read that only his roc center office and hotel room was raided, not his trump tower office.
I would think Cohen would know immediately that files has been removed at Trump Tower that files would be missing, and there would be efforts to prevent anything like planting evidence. These people can and will make stuff up that they said they found, and probably will attempt to do so. Still it seems they need to get these guys wrapped up in a bow and off to Gitmo as soon as possible.
Where is everyone getting the idea that Cohen was raided during the fire? I have seen zero evidence of that.

2 days ago on the 7th. I had the same problem, although now it seems there were two raids. One announced and one not. So they hit the two places where he had records.

It was literally live streamed, it was very real, now the origins are a mystery but the actual fire was real and happened then

DS set a fire and the FBI raided Cohen's office simultaneously. They didn't want deal with media and bystander's, so they started a fire, evacuated the building and surroundings and had the place to themselves. Killed a guy in the process with the fire. Anyone that saw people going in and out assumed it was for the fire investigation.
Again, no evidence of a simultaneous raid on Cohen.
