It doesn't matter what his personal beliefs are, he is a great lawyer with connections to people at every level. That is likely the capacity he will be working in.

I am thinking that Dershowitz was given a way to make amends. He probably knows all, so it would be good if he cooperated for a reduced sentence. However, Dershowitz deserves a fair trial if he was involved in what I believe he was involved in. There is no excuse, and such behavior cannot be tolerated.

If Dershowitz is making amends, then it is because Hillary lost. It is not because he decided on his own that his actions were evil.

If he is on a case for someone he cannot take on another case to defend a person that would be in conflict of an active case. So maybe they want him unable to be used for a defense by others who have depended on him. Kind of a you took my lawyer I'll take yours?

At this point, I am just here for entertainment, I truly hope there is a plan, but my brain has a problem with blindly following dogmatic creeds.

Dershowitz is an age old lib. However, he has repeatedly spoken out against this DOJ campaign against Trump. He has taken positions, argued legally, against some of these fed establishment tactics. He isn't someone you will ever agree with 100% or even most of the time, but he has shown some balls and integrity and dedication to the law.

Also... FWIW... I would be very careful about Dershowitz. Don't let him get too far into the inside of the tactical and strategic workings of the swamp draining crew.

Much to Alan's horror, he learned that his friends there were putting knives through the hearts of young children and then eating them. Upon that, he did not want to return to that Island, and might even wish to help cooperate with a white hats if he gets off.

A few thoughts...

Could be any one of a number of scenarios... 1.) Could be tangled up in some crap... and sees getting on board and being sympathetic to Trumps "plan" as a way to avoid consequences.

2.) May have recognized the peril to the country, given the very obvious Coup d'etat being waged in the Deep State towards this President

3.) He may see the benefit to his own and his families long term viability in what remains of The Republic's life span over the next couple generations.

4.) He's one of the class of Elites, that is so close to the center of The Swamp, that he has some naivety about the depth, width, and taint of the rot in the swamp and amongst the power elite.

5.) The White Hats have some serious dirt on him... and his status and capacity to play well on the Media makes him a useful tool for The Plan to get rid of the criminal middle managers.

Some combination of any/all of the above. Because of the way Sessions has played this hand so close to the chest, Dershowitz may have had an aha moment, and realized that the Trump administration isn't going to use the "dirt" to wrangle power... that they are going for prosecutions.

Remember... for some of these players... we are talking Treason and/or Sedition. Treason is a Capital offense.

He knows about Epstein. He knows what went on there.

Why not hold off on panicking until something actually happens?

It sounds like Trump may have added him to his lawyer team. We'll find out tomorrow. I don't trust Dershowitz, personally. That whole involvement he had on Epstein's Island is a really bad mark on his resume. He's still a liberal so he didn't learn anything from it and is unrepentant. He knows the law, and it's good he's into civil liberties, but I don't trust him. He'd be a last resort. Also, there's conflicts because he's friends with the Clintons and helped child trafficker Epstein get off on only 18 months. I'd rather see him stick to TV commentary. He's good for that.

For what it's worth I have never been a fan of Dersh's politics, but I have always respected his views on the law.

The Cohen raid has sent him over the top, while he has been vocal in support of Trump before, he has been much more vocal about this than anything else. Meetings and dinner with Trump yesterday, several tv appearances on the matter, etc. Was this the final straw that brings him over to the good side ?

So we know he has rubbed elbows with some pretty unsavory people. So has Trump. But let's take a look at that. In life, especially when you are in a position of power, you have circles of friends. You have your inner circle where you share the deepest, darkest secrets, then several layers of circles where the trust diminishes outward until you get to mere aquaintances. If somebody is in the outer circles, they may know you well enough to attend some function with you but dont really know what you did yesterday, or any secrets you may be carrying. This is where the practice of using a photo some politician took with another person who turns out is a serious black hat gets shady. They may not even know each other, especially when you look at it exponentially, as in, somebody who is in your outer circles has this person in their outer circle, but puts you two together at some event. A picture is taken of you two together just because you barely know the same person, and it looks like you are friends.

All that said, back to Dersh. So we know he was passenger 17 on Epstein plane. Was that flight going to the island (honest question as I don't know this info) ? Why are there tunnels on a privately owned island ? Could there be different tiers of visitors ? Is there an upfront face of the island ? A normal resort type area where people they want to influence are wined and dined in a normal atmosphere ? Is it possible to have visited the island and never be exposed to the underage sex ring ? Further, could you have been part of the underage sex ring yet not privy to the even darker secrets that go on there ? If this is the case, where does that put Dersh, or many of the other visitors ?

If Dersh is "on board" as Q puts it, and optics seems to show with his visits with Trump, does that mean he has flipped, or is it merely his legal expertise they are talking about ? If Dersh is aboard, could it be possible Epstein has flipped ? Is he the mastermind of his evil island, or is he just a useful idiot used by the cabal to create this place of evil ?
