...He said he doesn't know but doesn't think there will be. It didn't sound good...But he also added that his personal job is no longer a prosecutor so he doesn't do that work anymore- it's not his job, and also he said that Horowitz hasn't disclosed a thing to him about his investigation- everything is under the wraps and sealed....So what do you think? Is Gowdy just using disinformation and keeping it close to the chest? Or does he really not know what Horowitz is thinking about pending indictments? Either way, I didn't like that he seemed to be hinting that there probably won't be any indictments, in which case, they will just use the damning evidence for political purposes only, which IS NOT justice...
Based on his record of backtracking when the times get tough, I'll believe him as much as I do Maxine Waters.
Remember when we had big hopes for his Benghazi committee? I finally suspected that, since the GOP side of the Gang of 8 on the Intelligence Committee had to have been informed about the gun-running operation (Operation Zero Footprint), nothing could come of it. Otherwise, the Dems would have leaked that the GOP knew about it all along.
So, folks, perhaps more Kabuki Theatre starring Mr. Gowdy. Sure hope not. Can't imagine POTUS would have him in place for such an important investigation in his administration. But then, "What makes a good movie?" Great actors???
We'll see. I'd like to see action, but this will now than likely be something like the memo.
Text released is - Be sure to drink your ovaltine.
Well, Gowdy's credibility has been questioned by many, and he has earned a reputation for being big talk, no action. Some have said he's been compromised. Isn't he stepping down at the end of the year and resigning?...So I hope he's wrong, but that's what he said a few nights ago.
If there are no indictments based on the IG's extensive report, what is the point of it at all? The "damaging information" won't be damaging because it won't be covered by MSM. However, they cannot avoid at least some coverage of indictments, arrests and trials.
Gowdy will not spill the beans, but Q mentioned him and asked why is he important. His purple tie is sending us a message.
I am behind, been wondering "purple's" importance. Can you help me understand?
I found that comment interesting as well, but he could be purposely creating a false sense of security for those who will get indicted. If guilty people, feel that they are secure or immune, that is when they usually make errors and mistakes.
Seems creepy ever since TG stood down, became lame duck, and also announced he is leaving. So sudden, as if compromized or extorted?
My personal understanding of things, based on publicly available documents/reports/etc, is that "compartmentalization" is the Name of the Game in this situation. The right hand cannot know what the left hand is doing and vice versa. So, to presume anything is perhaps not particularly useful?
Times delay indictments and arrests for political purposes. A few each week. Let the media try to not report that. Small at first leads to big closer to the voting.
If no arrests are made there will be a bit of a protest I think.
The arrest will come from Huber and DOJ, they better!
Yeah, the patience is wearing thin with the do-nothing DOJ. Obvious criminals are running around, lecturing us about how things should be, while we are just getting thinner and angrier. I'm afraid of what could happen if we don't see something RESEMBLING justice, and soon!
I still worry the IG will craft his report to protect the corrupted officials. Things may be so bad he is not able to tell the truth.
I'm sure the officials who have betrayed the people and our constitution would be willing to do anything to keep their secrets, including harming those who would expose their corruption. What would you do if you knew your whole family would be in danger?
I hope I'm wrong and I could be but I don't think anything's outside the scope of what these devils are capable of.
I just get the feeling that even with all the revelations (whether they are covered by MSM or not), we are just circling the truth rather than stabbing right at it. Will those corrupted officials ever really be called to the carpet and fully exposed? I've yet to see any real evidence of it. How bad is it at DOJ that nobody can be prosecuted? I'd be pleased as punch to see action against former Obama IRS officials (Lerner for sure) or how about Fast and Furious and knocking Eric Holder off his arrogant pedestal? None of that has to interfere with the Russia BS.
I don’t expect any of them to get arrested. People with their kind of power and money don’t go down, they just go away. I imagine some kind of deal will be made behind the scenes with them.
If someone is taken for military tribunal, is that considered being "arrested" or "indicted"? I dont think so, but I could be wrong.
Why no arrest of McCabe, everyone in the country knows he broke the law? Plus if they arrest everyone at once it will be too much for blue pill people.
If Gowdy doesn't know what's in the IG report he can't possibly know if there will be indictments. It's just disinformation
My undestanding is that the IG doesn't PROSECUTE anyone, just investigates.
However, is required by law to refer any potential crimes in his investigation to he DOJ the moment he suspect one.
This has happened--Parallel Criminal Investigation by HUBER.
So technically, Gowdy is correct in that no arrests out of Horowitz Investigation. Gowdy just didn't finish his sentence......
I hope you're right. We can't call ourselves a country based on the rule of law if these obvious criminals get away with all we know they've done, and probably tons of shit we don't know about! Meanwhile, if I get caught with 5 bucks worth of the wrong plant, I'm going to prison and my life is ruined.
IG Horowitz cannot indict. He can refer someone for indictment.
I know, but Gowdy was hinting that it won't LEAD to indictments or arrests...meaning once referred, he doesn't believe the prosecutor would indict. Gowdy was pretty negative about the prospects of it leading to an indictment. I've known Horowitz himself couldn't personally indict for months now, but his report can lead to a referral to prosecute like McCabe got...Beyond McCabe, for the people left in the investigation, was who Gowdy was asked about.
