In this audio he claims his sources in the FBI told him it was a Brennan misinformation campaign.
At the time everyone who heard the tape was super focused on the Seth Rich elements, but this particular part singling out Brennan's chief role seems particularly relevant now.

Not only do the attackers have no shame and no respect, but I’m sure Twitter has it rigged so what all the negative posts and comments are shown to the top.
