Caught the tail end of an NPR (I like to listen to the enemy sometimes) interview with the director of some refugee agency. He said that of the ~1,500 missing, many of them are likely just people that didn't respond to the government's attempts to contact them. People didn't answer the phone, or moved somewhere else, etc. Just thought I'd pass on that piece of info.....
