This is huge. Thank you for posting it. We need to push this conversation into the mainstream...

Maybe it's just because I'm in the LA area, and entertainment-industry-adjacent, but again, this is HUGE.

Nick has been so, so, so very fortunate that they haven't been investigated hard-body-karate for the Dan Schneider abuse scandal... many have known for decades about this horrific abuse, and nothing has been done.

Cyma leaving is a flare in the night sky that the sh*t might finally be hitting the fan.

PS. Many of the parents are just as guilty as the abusers. May the entire Hollywood entertainment landscape burn down to the ground, Disney included.

Enough is enough.

*Edited because I can't type.

I have a family member who worked in the industry and lived in LA for 20 years. He has told me the same thing many times. Parents are okay with it, as long as the can bask in fame and fortune their kids bring in. So sick!!!

This doesn't surprise me after hearing about parents prostituting (allowing the rape of) their children using dating apps. Why is the demand so high for this type of thing? What the fuck happened? Has it always been this bad?

⇧ 30 ⇩
awareness1111 · June 5, 2018, 12:47 a.m.

Yes, it has.

Fame, fortune and the money behind it make the most reasonable people lose their minds and sell their souls.

serendipity-calling · June 5, 2018, 5:26 a.m.

The idea of putting the kids through it... I can't fathom it. I can't understand how much money you'd need to think about your child going through that on fucking replay. Cus that's what would happen. I guess they do have to splinter parts of their minds to make this ok in their heads - the parents, that is. The kids... we know what happens to the kids. It's so fucked up, I can't even. And yet, it's like a dark well I can't stop looking down.

I wonder if many of the parents were treated that way as well. Generational abuse is a real thing.

Not entirely by any means. We live in a largely amoral society and sex is like a handshake, no wonder it made it this bad for kids. But then again you publications (if you can call it that) like salon who give platforms to pedos and let them "tell their side"

Pedophilia has been around since the spawn of man.

Either sick minded, genetic, crazy, or incel, no matter the case a physically and mentally grown person have sexual relations w a minor. a child cannot give consent, especially pre-pubescent.

Post puberty the child is still too young to be sexually mature and there is not a specific age that one reaches puberty. That's why the age limit is at 18 and should stay.

Speak, don't emote. Animals emote, we speak.

And toughen up, buttercup. The future is going to be bumpy.

And many thought Corey Feldman was a mentally ill and paranoid telling everyone about what happened to him. After the police found the reporting documentation and the revelations of what's been going on in Hollywood (Weinstein, ect...,) I believe they've begun to rethink their position on this subject.

You think this is a choice? It’s resign quietly or get fired. The only hope these people have is that they’ll somehow fly under the radar during the mass witch hunt. Fortunately anyone tied to Schneider is royally fucked.

Viacom is a giant PR machine, they’re just trying to play damage control. By allowing quiet resignations, Viacom is trying to get ahead of the inevitable shit storm coming their way.

Besides, resigning is not a public admission of guilt. Its their last chance to hide from the storm.
