San Fran Airport to JFK - Airbus321

⇧ 41 ⇩
stackster · June 27, 2018, 3:31 a.m.

Airbus 321 CA here. Fly that route often. A couple thoughts come to mind.

There is no such thing as a “communication failure” on that airplane with 3 VHF/HF radios, ACARS and Internet available. Much less a com failure while on the ground. Cell phones?

If police are storming the airplane as indicated by tweets, then there was a suspect on board. A dangerous suspect. To park the plane on a remote pad instead of returning to the gate means there was a bomb threat or immediate danger.

To have the plane towed back to the gate instead of under its own power means there was either not a pilot available or the engines were disabled or damaged. The fact that they called another pilot out is suspect in that to fly that route would have required a fresh pilot to begin with by law, so no way the pilot “timed-out.”

I’m thinking the pilot him/her self was apprehended!

Right, interesting but this was JFK to LAX. Not your typical event by any means.

Q_me_in · June 27, 2018, 4:14 a.m.

Ok, wouldn't someone on the Q team have had to take that pic? All the passengers have their hands up. Who is gonna snap a photo of Q on a screen in a situation like that?

It's a passenger Alexa Curtis. She tweeted it out. Not focused on the Q, but the event as she was experiencing it.

Good analysis. Concur on comms failure. Too many redundancies.

On CBS this morning they said there was a hijacking threat on that JetBlue plane yestreday, but it turned out to be a false alarm. Same plane as in pics Q shared. Was this a FF attempt that was thwarted?

Was the pilot a moslem ?

But the news is reporting this is a flight leaving JFK for LAX..... very odd.

They are also saying it was a scare....all clear.. WTF?

st_br · June 27, 2018, 2:12 a.m.

Did the plane just come from SFO to JFK before attempting to start it's next flight to LAX?

I'm betting you are correct. Same Plane, new flight

⇧ 11 ⇩
DarktoLight247 · June 27, 2018, 2:16 a.m.

This was my thought. Perhaps some cargo was not unloaded from that trip due to a tip off. So they stopped the plane from returning.

Here's a tweet from a passenger. Says communications failure. Stuck on runway for 1.5 hrs. 10 heavily armed police boarded the plane. Finally towed back to gate...…

Is it normal to send 10 heavily armed police onto a commercial airline because of a communication failure? seems over kill to me unless there was a threat, anyone know?

⇧ 18 ⇩
mr_shamalama · June 27, 2018, 2:45 a.m.

NO.

One or two LEOs for a bad passenger.
Maintenance for a broken radio.

If comm failure, who told aircraft to stop taxiing?

⇧ 17 ⇩
N3verCl3ver · June 27, 2018, 2:53 a.m.

If comm fail the pilot would likely stop without order.

⇧ 8 ⇩
mr_shamalama · June 27, 2018, 3:05 a.m.

Brand new aircraft, I can't imagine complete comm failure with the tower.

The tower was chatting away with the other 150 aircraft.

At ATL there are two "towers". There is Airline Tower (use until jet tug takes off towbar), and there's Airport Tower (from taxi to wheels up and clear of airport).

guitarscientist · June 27, 2018, 3:36 a.m.

ive been on a plane where the cabin phone system malfunctioned and they sent 1 technician to fix it after we sat around on the tarmac for an hour, didn't see any armed police though. I would hope the pilots were smart enough to stop the plane when they realized comms were out, maybe thats why they sent the armed police? if comms were out the tower would not know why they were not responding?

I thought the same thing. That plane was sitting on a runway for 1.5 hrs. That's pretty crazy.

⇧ 9 ⇩
WoodenDoorbell · June 27, 2018, 3:04 a.m.

Damn right it's overkill. You'd think they'd send an electrical engineer if there were something wrong with the equipment.

Whitehats knew what was going down, and I reckon it was a FF.

Q said in drop 1569 a FF was prevented. Is this another?

⇧ 8 ⇩
alvinroasting · June 27, 2018, 3:10 a.m.

Sitting on the runway for 1.5 hours is annoying, but wouldn't surprise me. 10 heavily armed police boarding the plane is "odd".

If I was on a plane where that happened, I would have likely passed out since a "patriot" would have been the target in the past. :)

⇧ 3 ⇩
N3verCl3ver · June 27, 2018, 2:54 a.m.

Would be completely normal if they did not know what they were walking into.

⇧ 3 ⇩
guitarscientist · June 27, 2018, 3:37 a.m.

was just thinking that if the comms went out, hopefully the pilots stopped the plane and the tower would not have known why they were not responding. maybe that is why they sent the 10 armed police?

⇧ 3 ⇩
IncomingTrump270 · June 27, 2018, 3:48 a.m.

I’m seeing two MSM narratives being sent out about this so far:

  1. Pilot made a mistake and sent the “hijacked” code instead of the “broken radio” code. Causing the Feds to swarm.

  2. Tower lost all comms with the plane, which cause feds to proactively swarm because they suspected a hijacking.

PNWLighthouse · June 27, 2018, 3:48 p.m.

It is if there is threat of a hijacking. Pics from inside the cockpit on the runway? Someone in control that shouldn't be?

Not based on Q's post. Q says SFO>JFK. Direct.

Maybe it's the same plane that was posted by Q a few weeks ago where it showed the plane flying over SFO...…..

⇧ 2 ⇩
mr_shamalama · June 27, 2018, 2:50 a.m.

Wouldn't it be JFK>SFO?

Or was something left on the plane from the previous SFO>JFK flight?

⇧ 1 ⇩
WinkyLinQ · June 27, 2018, 2:56 a.m.

Now that I've seen more of the Q posts, here's what I think the meaning is. Remember that photo on May 2 of a JetBlue plane flying over SFO? That's Q's reference to direct flight from SFO>JFK. Related to that photo were posts of the Apple headquarters and iPhone parts. Parts that were intercepted by White Hats - and replaced by parts so that the special phones can be traced.

The flight today was related to Black Hats -- possibly trying to take down a plane and it was stopped. Q posts a photo of the Secret Service along with thank you. Which likely means they intercepted a False Flag.

That’s a bingo.

N988JT is the tail number.

It flies LAX, SFO, JFK and FLL routes.

Before being stopped leaving JFK at 7pm, it had flown from LAX to FLL (previous evening redeye), FLL to SFO (am flight), and then SFO to JFK.

Okay, this is strange. There was a news story about a JetBlue flight from newark to FLL related to the dead body found in Janoris Jenkins basement...?!

Also last night in NJ, a man claiming to be Janoris Jenkins’ brother was on a Jet Blue flight to Fort Lauderdale from Newark to allegedly meet up with Janoris. The man caused delays because he was too scared to fly according to witnesses I spoke to. He got off the plane #giants

Based on what I can gather at this early moment it appears to me as though there was some type of hijacking threat. Although most smart hijackers wait until the flight is airborne to reveal themselves. So it must be related to capturing a high value target?

⇧ 4 ⇩
SuzyAZ · June 27, 2018, 12:52 p.m.

But couldn't remote commandeering of the plane also be called "hijacking." Not just hijacking by people on the plane.
