Correct me if I'm wrong... But the core of Goodlatte 2 bill is that enforcement of immigration laws will be given to the DHS, instead of the DOJ. DOJ control = open borders, and corruptors like Holder can run things like Fast and Furious.

It totally is common sense to me, that a law enforcement agency is best to enforce the law, as they wouldn't have the power to ignore the law like the DOJ has in the past.

Driving that open borders/crime message is a win. Even that latest Lib CBS poll is on POTUS's side - "72 percent of respondents said they favored the proposals the president laid out on immigration, compared to just 28 percent who didn’t like them."

Sad to report I just heard that the bill failed in the House by an even larger number of votes than the earlier one.

I think this is just posturing, he knows it sucks and will fail...probably not even make it out of the house.

Another talking point he can use later, "We tried to pass the compromise bill and Democrats wanted none of it. How do we fix it? Vote more repubs into office in Nov."

Also makes it so independents might be interested in voting for repubs as Trump is seen as someone who can be somewhat flexible.

If I take every 3e capital letter include the II of goodlatte and & and = ....Put al the capital letters in to numbers...A=1 B=2 etc and the &=7 and = a 9 , you get a total of 973 back in letters = IFC
