Newly released DOJ records show “pitbull” Andrew Weissmann and multiple Mueller henchmen claiming to have “accidentally wiped” at least 31 phones used in the anti-Trump Russia probe.

The documents were uncovered thanks to a Judicial Watch FOIA lawsuit.

The phones were all conveniently wiped after the DOJ IG asked for the devices to be handed over — some phones wiped themselves, according to the DOJ!

The records show virtually all of Mueller’s lawyers used the same tactic: Put their phones in airplane mode, lock them and then nuke the phones by repeatedly entering the wrong password.

The wrong password must be entered 10 times in a row in order to nuke the phone.

“Employee tried to incorrectly enter password too many times, and the phone was wiped of all data” – one entry shows in the OIG records.

“During out processing conversation… [redacted] indicated she had to wipe her phone because she forgot the password. Her phone had to be wiped to be reset because the passcode provided was inaccurate and the phone was left in airplane mode.” – another entry stated.

Sen. Rand Paul tells Steven Crowder how 'corporate America' is actually funding the riots that are destroying America's cities

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) suggested Thursday that the rampant rioting and violence that is destroying some of America's cities is likely part of a coordinated effort funded by an unexpected source: corporate America.

The senator — who was attacked by an angry mob outside the Republican National Convention last month — made the comments in an interview with BlazeTV's Steven Crowder Thursday morning.

The two were discussing Paul's recent run-in with the "crazed" protesters and Black Lives Matters riots, in general, when the lawmaker suggested that many of the rioters are likely professional in some capacity, in that they are paid to travel to different areas of the country to incite violence.

"We're seeing these people … some of the same people are in Portland, Kenosha, D.C., Louisville," Paul said.

"How are they getting there? They're staying at the [Willard Hotel] — the Willard Hotel might be $500 to $1,000 a night — who's paying for them to stay in the Willard Hotel?" he asked. "Who's paying for them to have air flight? Who's paying them to do this?"

"And here's the sad truth of it," he continued. "It's probably not going to be a sinister name like George Soros, it's going to be corporate America."

"Corporate America is giving money to Black Lives Matter and my guess is, if we follow the money, the people who paid for the plane tickets and the hotels and the people who continue to do this, is Black Lives Matter," he said. "People should not be giving money to a group that is then funding thuggery."

Paul proposed that instead of funding Black Lives Matter, an organization that openly calls for a Marxist revolution and policy initiatives such as the end of the nuclear family, those who desire to promote racial equality should donate to organizations such as the United Negro College Fund or the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.

Trump debuts in Europe as Obama returns to stir nostalgia for the old days

Coinciding visits, although unintentional,serve to highlight Europe’s radically different view of the incumbent president and his ‘painfully missed’ predecessor.

Donald Trump makes his European debut as US president this week just as his predecessor, Barack Obama, returns to the continent for his first visit since relinquishing the White House in January.

While apparently unintentional, the coinciding visits serve to highlight Europe’s radically different view of the two men. A Pew Research Center survey last June found 77% of Europeans had confidence in Obama – and 9% in the man who has now succeeded him.

The contrast will come into sharp focus on Thursday, when the current and former presidents have parallel public engagements in Europe, providing a split-screen comparison between their extreme differences.

Trump, on his inaugural foreign tour, which has also taken in stops in Saudi Arabia and Israel, has a lunch date with the newly elected French president, Emmanuel Macron, in Brussels. He’s also got meetings and a dinner with EU and Nato leaders.

Obama will deliver a speech alongside German chancellor Angela Merkel at Berlin’s Brandenburg Gate. The Obama Foundation says the invitation from Merkel came before the US election, so the fact that he is in Europe as the same time as Trump is pure coincidence.

Europeans are already wistful in anticipation. Pictures of Obama on holiday in Tuscany with his wife, Michelle – relaxed and smiling in an open-buttoned shirt – have only heightened the sense of longing for a president whose rationality, sophistication and emotional intelligence often contrast with his successor.

Regarding Obama’s Berlin visit, the highpoint of a season of celebrations to mark the 500th anniversary of the Protestant church, the Leipziger Zeitung wrote that his presence in Germany would be like that of a “healer”.

“Already he is a painfully missed ex-president,” the newspaper wrote in an editorial, describing him as an “eloquent, charismatic preacher” – qualities it suggested were sorely lacking in Trump.

AG Curtis Hill defends Indiana’s voting procedures ahead of Election Day

Attorney General Curtis Hill this week asked a federal appellate court to uphold a lower court’s denial of a preliminary injunction that would have allowed “unlimited absentee voting” in Indiana for the Nov. 3 general election.

In April, the plaintiffs in Tully v. Okeson filed a motion for a preliminary injunction that would have allowed all registered voters in Indiana to vote by mail with an absentee ballot in the November election. They argued that Indiana’s absentee voting law unconstitutionally burdens their right to vote.

Judge James Patrick Hanlon of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana denied the motion, writing that the plaintiffs did not show a reasonable likelihood of success in making a case that Indiana’s rule is unconstitutional. The plaintiffs have appealed that ruling.

In a brief filed with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, Attorney General Hill says the appeals court should affirm the lower court’s decision.

“Not only is universal mail-in voting not required by the Twenty-Sixth and Fourteenth Amendments, but such a drastic change to Indiana’s voting laws is especially inappropriate now, just weeks before a major election,” Attorney General Hill writes in the brief.

In addition to Election Day voting, Hoosiers may cast a ballot at various early-voting locations for 28 days prior to Election Day. Indiana also permits mail-in absentee voting in 13 different circumstances, including when voters are disabled or elderly, or when voters expect to be away from their home counties on Election Day.

Furthermore, the brief states, Indiana strictly regulates the mail-in voting process. Indiana law, for example, restricts who may handle printed or completed absentee ballots, deeming it a level 6 felony for anyone other than a select group of individuals to possess absentee ballots.

These rules strike a balance between encouraging turnout and discouraging voter fraud, Attorney General Hill said.

“Courts permitting unlimited absentee voting in Indiana would not only run counter to Supreme Court precedent, but would cause the state to alter its long-established procedures less than two months before this historic election,” Attorney General Hill said. “Any Hoosier who wants to vote in the upcoming election has adequate opportunity to do so, and drastic changes to our rules this close to Election Day would create chaos.”

Attorney General Hill notes in the brief that the Indiana Election Commission issued an emergency order in March that allowed all registered voters in Indiana to vote by mail for the June 2 primary election. This order, however, was issued in accordance with a directive from the governor that ordered Indiana residents to stay at home and leave only for essential purposes.

Because of the commission’s order, the June primary election saw a higher volume of mail-in ballots than usual. Hamilton County, for example, reported sending about 40,000 absentee-by-mail ballots to voters, compared to about 3,000 for the 2016 primary election. Lake County sent voters nearly 10 times more absentee-by-mail ballots for this year’s primary election than it did the 2016 primary election.

Many counties had to incur additional, unintended costs due to the surge of mail-in absentee ballots, Attorney General Hill explains in the brief. Numerous absentee-by-mail ballots were also not counted in the June primary election due to human error that could have been avoided through in-person voting.

Attorney General Hill also noted that, “of course, the United State Postal Service’s unpredictable processing caused many ballots to arrive late, both to the voter and, then, on return to the local election board.”

Fifty House Republicans led by Colorado Rep. Ken Buck are demanding Attorney General William Barr launch an investigation into a series of seemingly organized riots this summer featuring militant anarchists torching American cities in a self-righteous mission to achieve social justice.

“ANTIFA and other left-wing anarchists groups have unleashed a barrage of totalitarian attacks on our country in recent months, including accosting a sitting U.S. Senator, hijacking peaceful rallies, organizing armed riots, destroying property, burning buildings, stealing livelihoods, and spreading hate,” House Republicans wrote.

The letter argued the explosion of unrest is largely attributable to organized underground domestic terrorist groups sowing chaos and division.

“It is clear that these individuals are well-funded and supported by a national network of left-wing activists committed to perpetrating violence and furthering anarchy in our streets,” it read. “As such, we urge you to immediately open an investigation to identify and prosecute all individuals and groups responsible for funding and organizing these terroristic acts that are wreaking havoc on our nation.”

The letter comes as left-wing militants in Portland eclipsed 100 consecutive days of carnage to cap off a historic summer of unrest triggered in May by the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis police custody, and after the nation suffered under 10 weeks of draconian lockdowns raking in generous government benefits for unemployed workers.

“ANTIFA and other far-left anarchist groups have wreaked havoc on our nation for far too long,” Buck told The Federalist. “Americans deserve to feel safe and secure in their own communities, it’s time that AG Barr and the DOJ take action to investigate and prosecute the groups responsible for these violent riots.”

Russia Wants to Make Its Vaccine Against COVID-19 Available in Every Country, RDIF CEO Says

MOSCOW, September 10 (Sputnik) - Russia wants to provide the Sputnik V vaccine to all countries without discriminating against anyone, Kirill Dmitriev, the chief executive officer of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, involved in the development of the vaccine, said on Thursday.

"Only in partnership with other countries can we manufacture our vaccine and we want to make it available in every single country, without any discrimination," Dmitriev said.

He emphasized Russia's willingness to cooperate with international partners.

"Russia has a very open position, a position partnership and readiness to cooperate with all international companies. We are doing solid negotiation with GAVI and CEPI, as well as the WHO and all the leading international organizations that manufacture vaccines and are involved in their research and development," Dmitriev said.

The Russian company has earlier noted that the Russian vaccine clinical trials results showed human adenoviral vectors may be better option than vaccines using mRNK or chimpanzee adenovirus.

Dmitriev argued that the western media were silent on the dangers of using experimental approaches to vaccine development such as those based on the chimpanzee adenovirus.

"When we talk about that to the western media, we do see that the difference about the human and chimpanzee adenovirus is being blocked by the western media," Dmitriev mentioned.

World Economic Forum’s Techno-Totalitarian Roadmap

The Corona crisis is the trigger for a global coup d’état of monumental dimensions. A few months later, during the Meeting in Davos in January 2020, this was made very clear by the launch of the Unlocking Technology for the Global Goals report compiled by PWC. This means that the world’s tech giants (which are part of the WEF working groups) will solve the world’s problems through the use of AI, satellites, robotics, drones and the Internet of Things, and with synthetic food on the menu.

By declaring Covid-19 as a pandemic on March 11, the World Health Organization (WHO) opened up an opportunity window for the WEF to quickly implement its new world order. Everything was very carefully prepared.

As early as 2006, the WEF’s first report on global risks had discussed the measures to be taken in the event of a pandemic (some of the recommendations were tested in the context of Swine Flu in 2009). After that, the working groups continued to sew their network. In 2010, the Rockefeller Foundation published Scenarios for the Future of Technology and International Development, which described the scenario of a future shutdown almost prophetically:

At first, the notion of a more controlled world gained wide acceptance and approval. Citizens willingly gave up some of their sovereignty – and their privacy – to more paternalistic states in exchange for greater safety and stability. A year before the virus began to hit the world, the WEF released the report Outbreak Readiness and Business Impact Protecting Lives and Livelihoods across the Global Economy. The great preparations were getting ready.

The Fed Bought No Bond ETFs In The Entire Month Of August

For much of the past six months, the biggest story was the Fed's Blackrock-mediated purchases of corporate bonds, either in the primary or secondary market, or via ETFs. As a reminder, while the Fed pre-announced its intention to purchase up to $750BN in corporate bond (including certain fallen-angel junk bonds) in March, it started purchasing bonds in May, and bond ETFs in June (among which such mainstays as LQD and HYG). By directly entering the corporate bond market - something none of his predecessors dared to do even at the depths of the financial crisis - Powell created what many believe, as GLJ's Gordon Johnson writes, "the biggest corporate bond bubble, and junk bond bubble, in history (and that all happened before the Fed even started buying)." And, as expected, bond prices, stocks, and ETFs all surged - completely disconnected from fundamentals - while yields plunged, as everyone was trying to front-run the Fed’s pending massive purchases. In other words, by jawboning alone, the Fed accomplished its handiwork.

Yet something odd happened in the month of August when during the peak summer doldrums it was SoftBank's turn to steal the spotlight with its now infamous gamma meltup - the Fed did not buy a single ETF.

According to the Fed's breakdown of holdings under its Secondary Market Corporate Credit Facility, as of July31 the Fed owned a total of 112,840,734 shares of various ETFs. Fast forward one month, to the Fed's update of its corporate bond and ETF holdings as of Aug 31 and which was published on Tuesday, where we find that the number of ETF shares held is unchanged for the entire month, while the market value of its ETF holdings has actually dipped by $64 million to $8.671 billion from $8.736 billion. Looking at the bond level data showed a similar picture: the Fed bought just $421 million par value ($456 million purchase value) of bonds between July 31 and Aug 28. Notably, unlike in July when Blackrock purchased four Apple bond CUSIPS, in August the Fed stayed away from the world's largest company. Perhaps it had enough of being publicly shamed for indirectly funding Apple's record stock buyback?

After the modest August purchase, the Fed's total corporate bond holdings rose by $435 million from $3.553 billion to $3.988 billion, an amount which also included the redemptions of several issues by NiSource, FLIR Systems, Digital Realty Trust and Anheuser-Busch.

And when combined with its $8.671 billion in ETF hodlings, this means that as of August 31, the Fed owned just $12.659 billion in bonds and ETFs.

Why is this notable?

Because as Gordon Johnson notes, not only is the total amount of actual purchases well below the $44.7 billion amount shown on the Fed's weekly H.4.1 statement under the Corporate Credit Facilities line item (as a reminder, the remaining $32.1bn in the SPV balance sheet include "amounts related to Treasury contributions to the facility" to ensure that the Fed does not suffer actual losses on its purchases), but more importantly, the $12.66BN of bond purchases to date is a long way away from the $750BN figure the Fed initially said it was targeting, and, as Johnson says "is currently in market participants psyche (i.e., 1.8% of what many continue to think the Fed will spend)".

What are the implications?

he fact that the Fed effectively stopped supporting the corporate bond market during August, and did not buy a single bond ETF last month, "seems to us to be a stark, yet surreptitious, shift in Fed policy stance" according to Gordon Johnson.

Furthermore, it seems to have gone completely under the radar – i.e., given all the brouhaha surrounding the Fed’s jawboning about massive bond purchases, we would argue, at best, this is pocket change. When the market figures out the “Fed put” is no longer in place, with the Fed’s bond ETF holdings actually falling by -$64mn in August, the willingness to buy stocks at “ridiculous” valuations may quickly abate.

Could it be that the Fed is starting to telegraph to the market that it moved too far, too fast? As Wolf Richter writes, "Jerome Powell has explained this many times – that the Fed has succeeded in achieving its objective of creating loose credit market conditions. It has in fact succeeded in blowing this bubble in the shortest amount of time, and the Fed itself is perhaps stunned by the magnitude of the bubble and its own success."
