During Parrot’s shift from supplying falcons to protecting them, he began interacting with a smuggler nicknamed, T2. T2 ran a smuggling line from Iran to Turkmenistan. T2 doesn’t smuggle falcons, but he knew the routes and how the lines worked. According to Parrot, T2 encountered bin Laden when bin Laden was falconry hunting in the Baluchistan region, which connects the southern points of Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. He spent time with him. bin Laden travels inside Iran with only four persons during the falconry hunting season. The source has learned the frequency channels on each of bin Laden’s falcons. bin Laden uses the same three frequencies while he’s hunting.” But the letter was never answered, nor was there any subsequent operation to investigate the area for radio transmissions during the falconry hunting season.

Um….being on the voter registration rolls does not equate to your vote. You need to confirm before the election that you are still on the voter registration rolls. Voter registration means just that- you are registered to vote, not that you have voted.

 

They would have to know that the person registered has already returned a ballot. If they can tell you that, then you have an idea that at least a ballot got there.

 

Of course, just having noted a ballot was returned does not insure your vote was counted or maybe "replaced."

Exclusive: Coup Plotters Considered Never Allowing Trump To Be Inaugurated

 

Recent revelations, including the declassification of key documents, have effectively ended any speculation about what really transpired in 2016 and 2017 in regard to Donald Trump and spurious allegations of Russian collusion. The story was a fabrication. None of it was ever true. There really was a conspiracy, and we really did witness the first attempted coup in American history.

 

Information uncovered within the last few days by AND Magazine adds significantly to our understanding of the scope of the conspiracy and suggests strongly that subsequent to the election of Donald Trump there was serious consideration given to simply not transferring power to the President-Elect.

 

According to a former senior Department of Defense official interviewed by AND Magazine, in the wake of Donald Trump’s β€œsurprise” victory in November 2016, a National Intelligence Estimate (NIE) was rushed through pushing the false Russian collusion narrative and asserting as the judgment of the Intelligence Community as a whole that the Russians had not only interfered in the election but had done so in order to assist Donald Trump and help him become President. We have known for some time that this NIE was drafted, what we now know is considerably more about the highly unusual way in which it was drafted.

 

An NIE is supposed to represent the consensus of the Intelligence Community (IC). It is created in a lengthy collaborative process involving working-level analysts and experts. Only when the final version is effectively agreed upon and hammered out, does the document make is way to agency heads for final approval.

 

Such was not the case with this NIE. According to the senior official interviewed, this NIE was written by CIA Director Brennan, FBI Director Comey, and DNI Clapper. All work on the NIE was done at the Top Secret level with only a handful of individuals having access to what was written. Objections to the conclusions reached were dismissed summarily on the basis that Mr. Brennan, Mr. Comey, and Mr. Clapper had personally written the NIE findings and recommendations and would handle all inter-agency input themselves.

 

In short, the conclusions had been preordained. There was no room for discussion.

 

For at least three years we were fed the lie that Donald Trump was in bed with the Kremlin and deserved to be removed from office on that basis. His election was illegitimate. He was a real-life β€œManchurian Candidate.”

 

When that was exposed as a lie, the backers of the original narrative shifted gears. The whole matter should probably just be dropped. To the extent there was any β€œwrongdoing” it concerned the misconduct of a handful of β€œoverzealous” mid-level personnel. β€œChange some regulations. Tighten some procedures. Move on.”

 

All of that is a lie too. Every day we see additional evidence that makes that crystal clear. When we have reached the point where an outgoing President and his subordinates are seriously planning not to hand over power to the President-Elect, we are standing on the precipice. This is no longer about partisan politics. This is about the very real possibility of losing our democracy.

 

The Romans went for centuries living in a democratic system based on the rule of law. They woke up one day to discover that they lived in an empire and that powerful forces in the capital city made the call regarding who their Emperor was. We may be far closer to that day than we realize.

Cyprus will stop offering passports to wealthy foreigners in exchange for a large investment in the country, following reports that the system was being routinely abused.

The Michigan Supreme Court handed Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) another legal defeat on Monday when a majority ruled her coronavirus orders are no longer in effect.

 

On October 2, the Court ruled that the 1945 law Whitmer has been using to justify a β€œstate of emergency” and her lockdown orders was unconstitutional, effectively negating any executive orders related to it.

 

Whitmer attacked the Court and claimed that her orders remained in effect until October 30.

 

β€œ(The) Supreme Court ruling, handed down by a narrow majority of Republican justices, is deeply disappointing, and I vehemently disagree with the court’s interpretation of the Michigan Constitution,” she said.

 

β€œRight now, every state and the federal government have some form of declared emergency. With this decision, Michigan will become the sole outlier at a time when the Upper Peninsula is experiencing rates of Covid infection not seen in our state since April.”

 

In a motion filed last Monday, Whitmer argued she created that date to β€œallow for an orderly transition during which some responsive measures can be placed under alternative executive authority and the Governor and Legislature can work to address many other pandemic-related matters that currently fall under executive orders,” CNN reported.

 

On Monday, the Court responded: No.

 

β€œJustices ruled 4-3 that the orders issued under the 1945 Emergency Powers of the Governor Act β€˜are of no continuing legal effect,'” according to ABC 12.

 

The majority said the decision β€œleaves open many avenues for our Governor and Legislature to work together in a cooperative spirit and constitutional manner to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.”

 

Instead, after the initial ruling, Whitmer’s administration issued new guidelines through the Department of Health and Human Services, under the Public Health Code of 1978, which require β€œface coverings, gathering limits, nursing home safety measures and more.”

In an email promoting the guide, ShutDownDC declares: β€œPreventing Donald Trump from stealing the election and remaining in office is likely to take mass, sustained disruptive movements all over the country.” The guide is a manual to that β€œdisruption.”

 

Parts of the guide are committed to ensuring a β€œfair election.” Parts of it, however, read like a manual for staging a coup rather than a guide to preventing one:

 

In the context of a coup or highly contested election we need to be clear that our actions must directly affect the structures and pillars of power. Our largest asset in this regard utilizes the ideas of non-compliance through massive, broad based direct action. Where we can, we need to be in the streets, on the highways, or at the sites of power and power holders. In our jobs and lives we must refuse to allow those taking control the legitimacy of the power they seek through strikes, slowdowns, and boycotts, and public refusal to accept an illegitimate ruling party.

 

Another section urges activists to stop American life from continuing if the election does not go their way (original emphasis):

 

In order to really win we will need to force some pillars of power (business, military, media, or other major institutions) to decide to side with the people, or at least get out of the way. If everyday life goes on, a despot will not leave power, and so there will be no incentive for real systems change. You want to think about what it might take to stop business-as-usual.

 

The guide also says that activists plan on β€œphysically protecting the vote count from counter-protestors, federal agents, or white supremacist militias.”

 

The guide indicates that activists intend to β€œdemand that no winner be announced until every vote is counted,” and that they will launch β€œmass coordinated action” to that end.

 

The signal for action will be if President Donald Trump is declared the winner on Election Night:

 

Trump may try to declare himself the victor before the votes are counted, or Fox News might call the race. Those who can should be prepared to take action against those who are feeding into the stolen election narrative, including social media companies that are letting falsehoods or incitements to violence spread.

 

The guide imagines a number of bizarre nightmare scenarios β€” such as Attorney General William Barr trying β€œto seize all mail-in ballots and invalidate them” β€” and uses them to motivate readers and justify plans for β€œdirect action.”

 

One section says that in the case of a contested election, β€œwe must take action” (original emphasis):

 

In the end, the actual electorate might be split, half truly believing that Trump was elected legally, and half knowing that he was not.

One rare victory emerged this week in Louisiana where a federal judge ruled that Superintendent Frances Varnado and Washington Parish School District board violated the rights of a high school senior by painting over his mural of President Donald Trump. U.S. District Judge Eldon Fallon relied on Tinker and declared the mural to be protected political speech.

 

Seniors at Pine Junior-Senior High School can pay $25 for an assigned parking spot and paint the spot as they deem fit, so long as the painting does not include profanity, lewd images and other students’ names. U.N. Ready to Welcome China, Russia, Saudi Arabia to Human Rights Council

 

China, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Cuba and Pakistan are tipped to finish top of Tuesday’s election for seats on the United Nations Human Rights Council, prompting disbelief from freedom campaigners and exiled dissidents alike.

 

U.N. Watch, a Geneva-based monitoring group, said allowing these countries anywhere near the council β€œis like making a gang of arsonists into the fire brigade.”

 

Saudi Arabia was previously on the council until 2019. Just last month, dozens of nations condemned it before the council over serious rights violations and demanded accountability for the murder Jamal Khashoggi, a Washington Post newspaper columnist who was killed in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul in 2018.

 

China, which is under fire over its treatment of ethnic Uyghurs in the far western region of Xinjiang and its imposition of a National Security Law in Hong Kong, is already preparing to take its seat.

 

This is in defiance of a coalition of 70 Uyghur organizations that have already called on the U.N. not to vote in favor of China’s membership, given its extensive record of human rights atrocities, as Breitbart News reported.

Shortly after President Trump was denied his latest appeal to keep his tax returns private - as if anyone besides a few rabid TDSers still cares about those after the whole thing was leaked to the NYT - on Tuesday the president asked the Supreme Court, which will soon have one more conservative Justice on deck, to block lower court decisions that would give the Manhattan District Attorney’s office access to years of his income tax returns.

 

Trump’s lawyers filed an emergency application with the Supreme Court asking the court to issue a stay on a grand jury subpoena demanding those tax returns and other financial records from his accountants. The request is pending the filing of his planned request that the high court hear his appeal of the lower court rulings that allowed that subpoena.

 

And, as CNBC reports, if the Supreme Court agrees to hear his appeal, it will be the second time the court has taken the case. In their filing, Trump’s lawyers said β€œthere is a reasonable probabilty that” the Supreme Court will take the appeal.

 

Last summer, the Supreme Court rejected Trump’s argument that his financial records from the Mazars USA firm should be protected from the subpoena because of his status as president. But the Supreme Court said Trump could make new arguments against the subpoeana with a federal district court in Manhattan, when a judge in that court ruled against the president after Trump’s lawyers argued that the subpoena was overbroad and issued in bad faith. A federal appeals court then upheld that ruling.

 

More importantly, with RBG now gone and ACB about to be the latest addition, it will be a true test of just how "conservative" the new appointment will push the court.

 

As a reminder, Manhattan DA Cyrus Vance Jr. is seeking the tax returns and other records as part of an ongoing criminal investigation of the president’s company, the Trump Organization. Vance is known to be eyeing how hush money payments to women who say they had sex with Trump were accounted for by the company, and according to court filings also could be investigating possible tax crimes, as well as bank and insurance fraud.

What is most interesting is the timing of Gina Haspel's last tour as London Station Chief – from 2014 to early 2017. That is the same timeframe (specifically, the late summer of 2016) when the FBI approached foreign policy academic and "utility government operative" Stefan Halper to begin the operation targeting Carter Page and George Papadopoulos in an FBI-designed foreign counterintelligence operation, against Team Trump, to be launched in Cambridge, England.

 

The CIA Station Chief is the top intelligence official in any given country. The FBI must inform the Station Chief of what they planned to do and get Station Chief approval. The FBI hates that, but those are the rules. Because the various intelligence agencies are sensitive, they do not use the word "approved." Instead, they use the word "coordinated." Jargon aside, nothing would have happened without Haspel's okay.

 

Gina Haspel is the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Haspel is the first career clandestine service officer to become director, and the first woman. She was the CIA Chief of Station in London twice, and that repeat assignment is very unusual. What is most interesting is the timing of Haspel's last tour as London Station Chief from 2014 to early 2017. Nothing speculative here the Justice Department Inspector General pegged the exact date of the FBI/Halper meeting as August 10, 2016. For the sake of brevity, I am not discussing Halper's role in targeting former Defense Intelligence Agency Director, Lieutenant General Mike Flynn. That is another column for another day and certainly Haspel knows a great deal about that, as well.

During the rally, Trump further attacked the WHO, noting that it is dominated by China, despite that country paying vastly less in funding to the global health body than the US does.

(I asked) Why are we paying $500 million a year and China which has 1.4 billion people is paying $39 million per year β€” they couldn’t explain so I took us out,” Trump urged.

The President also painted a grim picture of what will happen if Joe Biden is elected.

McConnell announces he will hold vote on small business loan bill

 

Majority Leader Mitch McConnell announced Senate Republicans will attempt to move forward on a targeted bill to re-start the small business loan program that served as a centerpiece of the coronavirus relief efforts when the Senate returns to session next week β€” a sign that prospects for broad stimulus agreement have all but faded before Election Day.
