Im in a somewhat well known town in CA, which are both the town and state declared under a State of Emergency.

Being under an SoE, our Mayor and/or the City Police Chief arrested a mask-less patron and pressed charges, under State of Emergency Law, specifically for the following;

TITLE 6 DISASTER RELIEF AND CIVIL DEFENSE

It is a misdemeanor for any persons during an emergency to:

(a)    Willfully obstruct, hinder or delay any member of the emergency management organization in the enforcement of any lawful rule or regulation issued pursuant to this title or in the performance of any duty imposed upon such member by virtue of this title.

*(b)    Do any act forbidden by any lawful rule or regulation issued pursuant to this title, if such act is of such a nature as to give or be likely to give assistance to the enemy or to imperil the lives or property of inhabitants of this city, or to prevent, hinder or delay the defense or protection thereof.

(c)    Wear, carry or display, without authority, any means of identification specified by the emergency agency of the state. (Ord. No. 80-20, § 3, 11-3-80; Ord. No. 20-10, § 2, 4-7-20)

What caught my attention was 6-9(b); “such a nature as to give or be likely to give assistance to the enemy or to imperil the lives or property of inhabitants of this city”, specifically give assistance to the enemy.

My question is; with past and recent hospital record leaks proving that many deaths were wrongfully proclaimed, such as the many shooting deaths labeled as COVID, couldn’t this, under the right circumstances, be turned against hospitals who have knowingly and wrongfully labeled such death cases as COVID and charge them with “assisting the enemy” by inflating the death counts? Could also be used to the false positive PCR tests, in a sense, also?

Steinmetz, along with Israeli media consultant Tal Silberstein, was given a five-year sentence, overturning a lower court decision to acquit both in 2019

Romania’s Supreme Court has handed down five-year sentences to two Israelis for bribery – billionaire Beny Steinmetz and media consultant Tal Silberstein – overturning a lower court’s decision to acquit them in June 2019.

The Supreme Court ruled that the pair collaborated with a Romanian businessman and the grandson of the country’s former king in an attempt to defraud the state.

The Romanian businessman, Remus Truica, who formerly served as bureau chief to Romanian Prime Minister Adrian Nastase, was sentenced to seven years in jail – almost double the four-year sentenced imposed by the lower court. He was convicted of abusing the country’s process for restituting property confiscated during the Communist era in order to illegally obtain state assets worth 145 million euros.

Prince Paul-Philippe, the grandson of King Carol II, was sentenced to three years and four months, slightly more than the three-year sentence imposed by the lower court.

The Supreme Court also decided to confiscate 370 square meters of land owned by Truica’s Reciplia company and another 141 square meters of land owned by Truica personally. The prince was ordered to pay a four million euro fine, similar to the one imposed by the lower court.

Attorney Yuval Sasson, who represented both Silberstein and Steinmetz, charged that “the appeal process violated the law and the rules of justice. We intend to appeal to the European court to annul the process, which has happened more than once with regard to decisions by Romanian courts.

“After a well-reasoned acquittal running hundreds of pages long by the Romanian district court – which showed, among other things, that the investigation of the defendants was conducted in a scandalous fashion that included forging evidence out of improper motives, the Romanian prosecution filed an appeal to the Romanian Supreme Court,” he continued.

“Regrettably, the appeal process was conducted in a way that it’s impossible to call a fair trial and raises doubts about the independence of the panel of judges.

“For instance, the panel was changed 17 times until the ‘desirable’ panel was settled on, the crime with which the defendants were charged was never presented to them until the verdict was given, the protocols were written in a biased fashion, the defendants’ lawyers weren’t allowed to cross-examine key witnesses, and use was made of evidence that isn’t admissible even under Romanian law.

“My clients are determined to fight for their innocence in European courts, and we’re confident that they will overturn the Romanian decision, as they have done more than once with regard to other decisions by Romanian courts.”

Next month, Steinmetz is slated to go on trial in Geneva over a corruption case in Guinea. He is charged with paying a bribe to the country’s government to secure rights to mine metal ores. The Guinea government withdrew its charges against him, but the case continued to be investigated by several other countries.

‘Say His Name’: NFL Honors Man Who Reportedly Committed Multiple Drive-By Shootings, Shot at Police

An Indianapolis Colts player is set to honor Dreasjon Reed, a man with a long criminal history who was killed in May during a shootout with the police.

The NFL announced that a Colts player would honor Reed by wearing a sticker on his helmet with the 22-year-old’s name on it as part of the league’s #SayTheirStories campaign to bring attention to police violence.

The Colts said that linebacker Mathew Adams would wear the decal with Reed’s name.

The league’s tweet features a quote from Reed’s mother, Demetree Wynn, who exclaimed, “[Reed] deserves justice! He was a human being, a son, a brother, and a friend. He is my son, and I love him.”

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the U.S. Secretary of Energy Dan Brouillette issued a prohibition order designed to reduce the risks that entities associated with the People’s Republic of China pose to the Nation’s bulk-power system (BPS). The order invokes the authority delegated to the Secretary by Executive Order 13920, Securing the United States Bulk-Power System (EO 13920), and takes effect January 16, 2021. The order prohibits utilities that supply critical defense facilities (CDF) from procuring from the People’s Republic of China, specific BPS electric equipment that poses an undue risk to the BPS, the security or resilience of critical infrastructure, the economy, national security, or safety and security of Americans.

“The bulk-power system is the backbone of our Nation’s energy infrastructure and is fundamental to our national security, the American economy, and our way of life,” said Secretary Brouillette. “It is imperative we secure the BPS against attacks and exploitation by foreign adversaries. This order is one of several steps this Administration is taking to greatly diminish the ability of our foreign adversaries to target our critical electric infrastructure.”

President Trump issued EO 13920 on May 1, 2020, and granted implementation authority to the Secretary of Energy. The prohibition order is exemplary of the Department’s commitment to pursuing a phased approach to the EO 13920’s implementation and provides a compliance grace period of several weeks to minimize potential procurement and supply chain disruptions.

The “Prohibition Order Securing Critical Defense Facilities” prohibits utilities that supply CDFs at a service voltage of 69kV or above from acquiring, importing, transferring, or installing BPS electric equipment, and is specific to select equipment manufactured or supplied by persons owned by, controlled by, or subject to the jurisdiction or direction of the People’s Republic of China. The order applies from the point of electrical interconnection with the CDF up to and including the next “upstream” transmission substation. Utilities subject to this order will be notified no later than 5 days from the issuance of the order.
