For my Guerrilla Sniper Rifle subject, I utilized a Savage bolt action 308 (short action length), a Choate Folding Sniper Stock, and a Nikon 3-9 x 40 BDC reticle scope. That and a minimal set of supporting accoutrements are really all one needs.

First, why a bolt action?

In the Guerrilla Sniper role, it is unlikely that multiple fast follow up shots will be needed, at least in the context of how I foresee such activity. We are generally talking about one or perhaps at most three well placed shots, and then scoot. A bolt action does this with a lighter, more accurate, less complicated, and usually much cheaper implementation than a semi-auto battle rifle. A solid bolt action is simple and offers several tactical advantages (brass retention, ease of scoping, superior suppressor platform, etc.). Keep it simple when you can and you will usually find that you have the best tool for the job. So I chose a bolt action.

Second, why the Savage 100/10/Stevens 200 action in particular?

From my analysis, I think there are three significant advantages that this action offers:

1) Accuracy/Economy ratio – they are the most affordable option and inherently accurate

2) Barrel changes – to be able to replace or exchange barrels yourself is unique and enabling

3) Accutrigger – to have an excellent trigger out of the box is a significant advantage

That all said, don’t get too hung up on requiring the gun to have an Accutrigger, as most of the standard triggers can easily be made quite serviceable (possible exception being the basic “two screw” variety that comes on the Stevens 200 and some older Savages). The three screw models I’ve played with are just fine. If this is not the case for you, several excellent aftermarket triggers exist.

I cannot overstress that the modularity of the rifle, in particular the ease of barrel replacement, is what really makes this the best choice, in my opinion. Never underestimate the utility of being able to replace or exchange your barrel in the field, with no need for precision, powered machinery or a trained gunsmith. It could be a life saver. Ponder the concept and I think you’ll agree.

As to barrels, while one can make do with the standard 22” factory sporter barrel, the Guerilla Sniper concept really shines when you utilize a shorter barrel, something in the 16” – 20” range. It may not seem like much, but shortening the barrel by just a few inches significantly improves the handiness of the rifle when in use and opens up whole new areas for transport and storage with the stock folded. I have played with barrels from 22” down to 18” so far, with a 16-1/2” barrel next in the queue for testing.

Instagram has been actively censoring a meme about President-elect Joe Biden’s legislative record, after it flagged as “false” an artist’s post linking the ex-Senator’s 1994 Crime Bill to mass incarceration of black Americans.

The political meme, uploaded by Brad Troemel on Wednesday, shows an old photo of Biden and then-President Bill Clinton, along with a caption that reads: “Find someone that looks at you the way Biden looked at Clinton after Clinton signed Biden’s crime bill into law. Bringing mass incarceration to black Americans.”

The so-called “fact check,” written by Doug Stanglin and published in July, asserts that despite the Crime Bill being “a grab-bag of crime-fighting measures,” ‘mass incarceration’ actually began “in the 1960s” and is not a racialized phenomenon.

Troemel’s interaction with Instagram was easy to verify, as the platform still almost immediately slams the “false information” label on a newly uploaded image.

Yet, USA Today’s analysis appears to fly in the face of assessments by both left-wing and some conservative supporters of criminal justice reform.

The issue ultimately appears up for debate, with some critics saying that the Crime Bill contributed massively to mass incarceration, while others split hairs, saying it simply exacerbated an already ongoing trend.

Instagram’s move, however, was largely seen as overly-protective of Biden, with some even calling it political censorship.

Israeli govt confirms it will issue Covid vaccine passports granting access to places ‘restricted to other populations’

Israel has confirmed that it will issue official identification to those who receive a coronavirus jab, which will be used to bestow certain privileges not enjoyed by people who remain unvaccinated.

Health Minister Yuli Edelstein said on Wednesday that plans to create a “green” Covid-19 passport would soon be implemented as Israel gears up to begin mass vaccinations.

“Two weeks after the second shot, a person who was vaccinated will receive a green passport,” he explained, adding that the document will “free people from isolation [requirement]” and “allow [people] to enter places that will still be restricted to other populations.”

The health minister acknowledged that the rollout of the new form of identification was a “difficult logistical operation” and that the government was still deciding how the passports would work in practice.

Last week, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that he had instructed health officials to develop a passport plan “by which whoever receives a vaccine will be able to show a card or an app that will enable them to enter events, malls, facilities, and all kinds of services.” The Israeli leader said the program was designed to “encourage vaccinations.”

Mellissa Carone is the courageous Dominion whistleblower who came forward to allege major systemic voting fraud at the TCF Center in Detroit on election night 2020. This week, the CEO of Dominion Voting Services, John Poulos, testified before the Michigan Senate.

Poulos told the Senate that paper ballots back up all the digital records, but that ignores what Carone and others, including Shane Trejo, Jose Aliaga, and others saw: a 4am Biden Ballot Dump of illegal ballots, eight hours after the deadline. Due to Michigan election law, a ballot box that is missing ballots cannot be recounted, and 71% of Detroit’s absentee ballot boxes are missing ballots.

“He only proposed a recount in order to get the heat off of him.”

“They (Dominion) want to get the attention off of the truth.”

Poulos told the Michigan Senate that they have no hand in running elections, only in counting votes, but Carone says that one of her Dominion colleagues, Samuel, was sent around midnight on election night to the “Chicago Warehouse” to help handle and process ballots before they arrived at the TCF Center.

Importantly, the other off-site location that Samuel was sent to would not have had Dominion machines operating.

Europe will start vaccinating people for Covid-19 in 10 days, EU Commission president confirms

European Union Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has confirmed that member states will begin the bloc-wide mass vaccination program on December 27, 28, and 29.

Tweeting out the announcement, von der Leyen proudly declared that “we protect our citizens together”, adding the ‘Stronger Together’ slogan that became widely used during the 2016 Brexit campaign.

To prepare for the mass vaccination campaign, the EU is bringing in former doctors, student nurses, pharmacists, and soldiers, as well as turning hospitals, care homes, convention centers, and sports halls into mass inoculation sites.

After revealing the planned vaccination days, the EU Commission president held a coronavirus response meeting with officials in member states to discuss the situation, efforts to supply vaccines across the bloc, and rapid testing strategies to control the spread of the virus.

Alongside the EU chief’s statement, Germany’s Health Minister Jens Spahn confirmed the proposed timeline before holding an online meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and BioNTech executives.

Both Germany and the EU said the rollout is contingent on the European Medicines Agency (EMA) approving the vaccine, developed by Pfizer and BioNTech, as planned, on December 23.

Merkel praised the development during the online event, declaring, “The fact that, in this extraordinary global situation, an mRNA vaccine like this is coming to the market so quickly is the result of the wonderful individual achievement of researchers, but also of our approach.”

I was talking to Junk Yard Guy this week and he mentioned that he took in a load of scrap iron. It was running about 70 bucks a load, but he said the guy gave him 200 as prices went up.

There is zero information on this, and that includes the ZeroHedge boys. I asked JYG if China was buying, and he said he didn't know. He was just surprised iron went up as it has been in the cellar for a long time.

I was glad as I got two truck plates from him and rims which I would not be able to afford now.

My point in posting this is, if metal just surged, it probably means a war is coming, as the global economy is shredded by Fauci lockdowns. I repeat there has to be a reason for price spikes in something entered the market. Gas is going up too.

SECOND health worker in Alaska suffers allergic reaction after getting Pfizer Covid-19 jab

A second health-care worker in Alaska has suffered severe adverse reaction to the Pfizer Covid vaccine, according to a local hospital. The second case appears to be mild, while the first affected individual remains hospitalized.

Two cases of severe allergic reaction to the Pfizer-BioNTech coronavirus jab have been reported by Bartlett Regional Hospital in Juneau over the past two days.

“A second staff member experienced eye puffiness, light headedness, and scratchy throat ten minutes after being injected with the vaccine today. His reaction was not considered anaphylaxis,” the hospital said in a statement.

The affected worker received antihistamine shots immediately and “felt completely back to normal” an hour after the incident. It remained unclear whether he has had a history of allergies or not.

The first case of allergic reaction to the vaccine occurred on Tuesday, when a health worker with no previous history of allergies or adverse reaction to vaccine was affected. The worker’s reaction to the vaccine was described by the hospital as “serious but not life threatening.”

“After ten minutes, the Bartlett health care worker showed signs of an anaphylactic reaction, with increased heartbeat, shortness of breath and skin rash and redness,” the hospital stated.

Both incidents have been reported by the hospital to the CDC’s Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) database. On Wednesday, Pfizer told RT it was “working with local health authorities” and was accessing the first case of adverse reaction to the vaccine on US soil.

Several cases of allergic reactions to the Pfizer-BioNTech jab were reported earlier this month by the UK, which also began mass-vaccination after approving the jab earlier this month. Multiple UK health workers have suffered anaphylactic shock after receiving a jab, yet, most of them appeared to have a history of allergies. One woman, for instance, was said to be allergic to certain medication, while another had a history of allergies to eggs. The vaccine's manufacturer, for its part, insisted that the jab contains zero egg-related ingredients in its formula.

Election integrity watchdog to sue Facebook’s Zuckerberg for using ‘dark money’ to fund ‘massive’ fraud

Mark Zuckerberg poured cash into an “ecosystem” that caused widespread fraud in the 2020 presidential contest, election integrity watchdog the Amistad Project has alleged. The group will file suit against the Facebook CEO.

The lawsuit, based on a report authored by the organization, will claim that Zuckerberg used $500 million of “dark money” to unlawfully tip the scales in battleground states that Democrat Joe Biden won by narrow margins, said Mark Serrano, a Trump 2020 campaign adviser who runs a communications firm that handles media relations for the Amistad Project. The lawsuit is expected to be filed by today in the District Court for the District of Columbia and will cover alleged election irregularities that took place in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Arizona, and Georgia.

Amistad Project director Phill Kline said during a press conference on Wednesday that Zuckerberg funneled huge amounts of money into charities and nonprofits that lobbied officials and carried out other partisan activities that impacted the 2020 results.

“He paid for election judges, purchased drop boxes, contrary to state laws,” Kline said, adding that Zuckerberg’s money “purchased machines – Dominion and otherwise – and Zuckerberg’s funding was contributed to Secretaries of State.”

This injection of hundreds of millions of dollars into the election by Zuckerberg and others “violated state election laws and resulted in an unequal distribution of funding that deprived voters of both due process and equal protection,” according to a press release issued by the Amistad Project.

The group, part of conservative constitutional litigation organization the Thomas More Society, has been involved in several lawsuits alleging voter fraud and irregularities in the 2020 contest. They filed a motion in support of the unsuccessful lawsuit brought by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton in the Supreme Court, which accused four battleground states – Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin – of violating election laws. The Supreme Court rejected the suit, citing a “lack of standing.”

The purportedly hacked US software, SolarWinds, is used widely across government departments and agencies (how’s that for a security no-no!), and from the above assertion of “fact” that Russia was behind the cyber intrusion, then it follows – but only by implication – that all of the said US departments and agencies have been breached.

On Monday, the NY Times headlined: “Scope of Russia Hack Becomes Clear: Multiple US Agencies Were Hit.”

Well, it’s not at all “clear” because no evidence is provided. And the multiple agencies, which the newspaper implies might be affected, actually declined to give any comment, including the Pentagon, the Department of Homeland Security, National Security Agency and State Department.

“Investigators were struggling to determine the extent to which the military, intelligence community and nuclear laboratories were affected by the highly sophisticated attack,” reported the newspaper.

In other words, the Times is “struggling to determine” evidence to back up its story.

All we have, therefore, is lurid claim, assertion and innuendo, which is pretty-much par for the course of US journalism when it comes to demonizing Russia. In any case, serious journalism abiding by basic reporting standards is not the point. The point is to achieve perception. Perception of Russia as a very, very, bad, bad country that is out to ruin virtuous America.

But it was left to the NY Times, the unofficial media organ of the CIA and other deep-state operatives, to follow up with the gaslighting.

The day after “reporting” the “scope of Russia hack,” the Times ran its instruction for President-elect Joe Biden under the guise of a “news analysis” piece. The headline was: “Biden to Face a Confrontational Russia in a World Changed From His Time in Office”.

It went on to say: “The president-elect will have to assure American national security in ways that will require pushing back on the Kremlin at times and, at others, seeking Russian cooperation.”

Forget the appended sop about “Russian cooperation.” The thrust of the article was telling the incoming Biden administration to adopt a more “unified” policy towards Russia, which ends “the era of bifurcation between the West Wing and the American national security establishment.”

Recently attended a summit with other officials

French President Emmanuel Macron has tested positive for COVID-19, according to Reuters.

The information has allegedly sent several European leaders into quarantine following a Dec. 10-11 summit.

What are the details?

The outlet reported that Macron met with "numerous" heads of state and their high-ranking officials before testing positive for COVID-19.

Over the last 10 days, he has met with Portuguese Prime Minister Antonio Costa and French Prime Minister Jean Castex, who are now self-isolating. Macron also reportedly met with Costa for a working lunch.

He also was in attendance at a convention with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez and President of the European Council Charles Michael. Both are now self-isolating.

Sanchez also reportedly had lunch with Macron on Monday, the Spanish leader's office said in a statement.

The report noted that Macron attended a European Council summit in Brussels.

"Of the council's 27 member states, only two leaders were missing: Estonia's Jüri Ratas and Croatia's Andrej Plenkovic."

Those in attendance also included German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo, Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte, European Parliament President David Sassoli, and President of the European Commission Ursula Von Der Leyen.

On Thursday, CNN reported that the Elysee Palace said Macron was diagnosed after being tested "at the onset of the first symptoms."

"In accordance with current health regulations applicable to all, the President of the Republic will isolate himself for 7 days. He continues to work and carry out his activities remotely," the statement added.

A reported EU official in the European Council told CNN that "all sanitary measures were observed, and we have not been informed of any other participant or staff present during the summit who tested positive."

On Monday, the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control reported that France's 14-day coronavirus infection rate was 236.3 new cases per 100,000 people.

Florida teacher probed for allegedly watching porn during online class

A Florida high school teacher is being investigated over allegations that he watched porn during a virtual class — after a former student posted a clip of the lesson online, district officials said.

Michael Braeseke, who teaches social sciences at South Broward High in Hollywood, appeared to be sitting at a desk looking down as a woman apparently screamed in ecstasy — saying, “Oh my God!” — during a virtual class on Friday, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported.

A former student at the school posted the footage of Braeseke, 53, on Monday from his Global Perspectives & Research class, which is part of its college-level Cambridge International program at the school, the newspaper reported.

“South Broward high school teacher Mr Micheal Braseke watches pornography in class,” the former student, Elijah Ruby, tweeted, while tagging the school’s principal, Patricia Brown. “How can you let this happen?”

Brown replied that the well-being of students is “always of the utmost importance.”

“As a survivor myself, I would never ignore concerns expressed,” Brown tweeted. “Social media is not the best medium to address issues of this importance. Please encourage others to email/call me. They ARE loved & valued!”

District officials launched a probe into the video on Tuesday, the Miami Herald reported.

“Broward County Public Schools takes all matters and allegations involving the safety of students and staff very seriously,” the statement read.

“When school leaders were made aware of the alleged teacher misconduct during a virtual class, they took immediate action and began to look into allegations and follow proper protocols prior to social media posts.”

The district’s Special Investigative Unit is looking into the matter, officials said.

Braeseke, who has worked for the district for 20 years and earns about $56,000 annually, has not been reassigned, but isn’t teaching this week due to midterms, the Sun-Sentinel reported.

“Proctors have been assigned to monitor testing — including this teacher’s class,” district spokeswoman Kathy Koch wrote the outlet.

Braeseke could not be reached for comment Wednesday, according to the report.

Ruby said a friend found the footage using a program that performs audio searches, the Sun-Sentinel reported.

Ruby told the Miami Herald that a school resource officer reached out to him Tuesday regarding the footage, while asking who had sent him the video.

“It would seem to me the police officer would have more questions about Mr. Braeseke’s behavior and not about the student who sent the video,” Ruby said.

Ruby declined to identify the person who gave him the clip, the newspaper reported.
