Director of National Intelligence (DNI) John Ratcliffe issued a report stating China interfered in the 2020 election while CIA management pressured lower level analysts to discount this assessment.

 

The EPOCH Times reported today:

 

Director of National Intelligence (DNI) John Ratcliffe assessed that China interfered in the 2020 federal elections, according to a letter transmitted to Congress.

 

In the letter (pdf), Ratcliffe alleges that intelligence about China’s election interference was suppressed by management at the CIA, which pressured analysts to withdraw their support for the view.

 

Citing a report by the Intelligence Community Analytic Ombudsman Barry Zulauf, the director of national intelligence said some analysts were reluctant to describe China’s actions as election interference because they disagreed with the policies of President Donald Trump.

Dem Congressman Schiff Recommends That Biden End Trump's Daily Intelligence Briefings

 

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff earlier aligned himself with those GOP and Dem lawmakers who voted for the second impeachment of the outgoing US president, Donald Trump, following widespread allegations from lawmakers, insiders and the press that Trump inspired the mob to violently storm the Capitol building on 6 January.

 

The Committee chair, Adam Schiff, requested in a Sunday interview on CBS's "Face the Nation" that President-elect Joe Biden stop providing US intelligence briefings to Trump, as the latter is leaving the White House in just a few days.

 

Schiff stated that the ongoing president has “politicized intelligence” and poses a “national security risk” to the country, stating that other nations have been "withholding information” from the US because they do not believe Trump “would safeguard that information and protect their sources and methods.”

 

"There's no circumstance in which this president should get another intelligence briefing, not now, not in the future. I don't think he can be trusted with it now, and in the future he certainly can't be trusted," Schiff said.

 

Intelligence briefings are a privilege given by an incoming president to an outgoing as sign of respect and an opportunity for the latter to assist the former with ongoing challenges. With special access to classified data, a former president is expected to solely advance America’s interests.

 

On Friday, the House Intelligence Committee initiated a probe into the deadly 6 January attack at the US Capitol. Earlier, the Committee requested data from law enforcement and intelligence agencies to examine what they previously knew about threats of violence, whether that information was passed on, and whether security clearance holders participated in the violent insurrection.

 

Data was also requested by the Committee from three other US House committees - the Committee on Homeland Security, the Judiciary Committee and the Committee on Oversight and Reform. The action came against the background of recent reports alleging that the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security had not prepared a specific warning about the planned violence at the Capitol ahead of January 6.

 

On 6 January, a pro-Trump’s rally in front of the White House turned into a march to the Capitol building which quickly became a violent attack as the angry mob broke into the structure, causing widespread damage and vandalism, and killing five, including a police officer.

 

At the time, a joint session of Congress was certifying the 14 December Electoral College vote. During the uprising three civilians, one retired Air Force member and one police officer were killed. Following claims that Trump incited the 6 January attack, the US House of Representatives on January 13 impeached him a second time.

SEC Whistleblower Tips Have Soared 31% Since Most Employees Started Working From Home

 

Sitting around at home with nothing to do during the pandemic? Why not become a corporate whistleblower! It allows you to exact revenge on your boss and co-workers for years of misery and can also pay well!

 

That must be exactly what many are thinking, as it is being reported that since the work from home boom started, whistleblower tips to the SEC have soared. The SEC received 6,900 tips for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2020, which marked a 31% rise from the previous 12 months, Bloomberg reported.

 

The increase in tips "really started gaining traction in March when Covid-19 forced millions to relocate to their sofas from office cubicles," the report notes.

 

Jordan Thomas, a former SEC official who helped set up the agency’s whistle-blower program, said: “You’re not being observed at the photocopy machine when you’re working from home. It’s never been easier to record a meeting when you can do it from your dining room table.”

 

Adam Waytz, a psychologist and professor at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, said: “When you feel disconnected from work, you feel more comfortable speaking up.”

 

And the increase in tips has led to larger and more consistent payouts from the SEC. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the agency has paid out $330 million in awards, including one award of $114 million to a single tipster in October. The payments are likely tied to cases prior to the pandemic, but are indicative of a trend of growing payouts.

 

The SEC has been paying whistleblowers since the 2010 Dodd-Frank Act, which was put into effect as a result of massive financial blowups like Madoff and Enron. Bloomberg wrote:

 

Under the program, tipsters can receive financial awards if they voluntarily provide unique information that results in an enforcement action. Payouts can range from 10% to 30% of the money collected in cases where sanctions exceed $1 million. Awards are paid from a fund set up by Congress – not money owed to harmed investors.

I am here to hold dictatorial power over the Armed Forces during a military coup. My job is to hold a constitutional convention, establish three equal branches of government including a new free, fair, secure election process. Period. I will not sign executive order. I will not pardon. I will not do anything. I call it the "Do Nothing Party" as a joke. But it isn't a joke. I have a serious principled stand that I am protecting the constitution by peacefully holding a balance of power during a time of transition.

I have wanted to "abolish the federal government" and start over for a long time. Do you know how hard it is to convince the United States Armed Forces to agree with a well-grounded, but seemingly outrageous proposal. It was super super radical and rejected until years later. I thought it was actually the best because the tax code and law is so confusing and messed up. I thought it should be more simple and straight forward. The best way was just to start over.

I don't know if there will be a Declaration of Independence. I am not sure.

If there is, I will be signing it mother fuckers.

I will represent the moderates at the convention. I want to help form a moderate position that will hold control of both parties majority votes for hundreds of years. I personally think the moderate silent majority will rule America until the next revolution when a radical party will take over a homogenized, rudderless, stale silent majority. In the status quo, the radicals are dominating both parties. The silent majority will react by choosing to participate. A bit of public education regarding the difference between a politician that panders in emotions and a politician that is a prepared to operate the American empire from day one. I do believe these boomer moderates will react to the fact that they have been misled for so long. I think they will want an education in psychological manipulation so a candidate can't do mind tricks on them.

Kerry was briefed about Hunter Biden, Burisma and Christopher Heinz the day after Burisma announced Hunter Biden joined its board. Additionally, Secretary Kerry’s senior advisor sent him press clips and articles relating to Hunter Biden’s board membership. This appears to be yet another example of high-ranking Obama administration officials blatantly ignoring Hunter Biden’s association with Burisma.

 

Several witnesses highlighted efforts to enable a successful investigation of Zlochevsky, and also noted that the U.S. decision to condition a $1 billion loan guarantee was made in part because of the then-Ukrainian prosecutor general’s failure to pursue a case against Zlochevsky. But at the end of the day, between 2014 through 2017, despite the concerted effort of many U.S. officials, not one of the three different Ukrainian prosecutor generals held Zlochevsky accountable.

 

The Obama administration and the Democrat lobby shop Blue Star Strategies had consistent and extensive contact with Andrii Telizhenko over a period of years. Yet despite these well-documented contacts with Democratic officials, Democrats have attempted to impugn this investigation for having received some Blue Star-related records from Telizhenko. Some Democrats have even (incorrectly) identified Telizhenko as the Committees’ “star witness.” Although he produced a small number of Blue Star-related records to the Committees, the Committees never interviewed him as part of this investigation.

 

Even though almost all of the Committees’ records are from U.S. agencies and U.S. officials or persons, Democrats have repeatedly misconstrued the facts of this investigation and have smeared it as a Russian disinformation campaign. In doing so, they conveniently have ignored their own long history of meeting with Telizhenko and his yearlong work for a Democrat lobby shop. If Democrats are concerned that Telizhenko presents any risk of advancing disinformation, it is notable that the Ranking Members have not expressed any curiosity about his work with the Obama administration or Blue Star Strategies.

 

The records acquired by the Committees also show that Hunter Biden and his family were involved in a vast financial network that connected them to foreign nationals and foreign governments across the globe. Hunter Biden and Devon Archer, in particular, formed significant and consistent financial relationships with the corrupt oligarch Mykola Zlochevsky during their time working for Burisma, and their firms made millions of dollars from that association while Joe Biden was vice president and the public face of the Obama administration’s Ukraine policy. Rosemont Seneca Thornton, an investment firm co-founded by Hunter Biden, received $3.5 million in a wire transfer from Elena Baturina, who allegedly received illegal construction contracts from her husband, the then-mayor of Moscow. Moreover, Archer’s apparent receipt of money for a car from Kenges Rakishev of Kazakhstan while Vice President Biden was in Kyiv is especially concerning in light of the timing. And finally, Biden and Archer’s work with Chinese nationals connected to the Communist regime illustrate the deep financial connections that accelerated while Joe Biden was vice president and continued after he left office.

 

The Chairmen’s investigation has faced many obstacles from the minority and from executive agencies that have failed to comply with document requests. Accordingly, there remains much work to be done.
