There are literal groups of underachievers whose primary objective is to disrupt other groups and social circles online.

They sock puppet, role play and generally try to create confusion and discord.

It's basic SJW bullshit typically, it's how the lefty mindset works.

It's one big social nut cup and you HAVE to follow the narrative or be outed as a racist/bigot/sexist you name it.

It really is childish, but hey that's what you get with underdeveloped minds.

I mean think of it this way, if you spend your time thinking based on the information others give you or group think mentality, you are limited in information and creativity because your own knowledge is filtered from the already limited expression of another.

Now scale it up or down, however you want to see it, and if the people who you look up to for guidance and reassurance are literal idiots then you are not only getting garbage but not even in it's purest form; you are exposed the a censor and dulled version of supposed "insight".

You're basically dealing with high school drop outs whose mind never graduated.

Best to avoid them or when in confrontation; make your point and be dismiss yourself from the conversation.
