Russian President Vladimir Putin stands solid against deployment of Western military bases on the territory of Ukraine, Ramzan Kadyrov, the head of Russia’s Republic of Chechnya said.

Three months after his bone marrow transplant, Chris Long of Reno, Nevada, learned that the DNA in his blood had changed. It had all been replaced by the DNA of his donor, a German man he had exchanged just a handful of messages with.

 

He’d been encouraged to test his blood by a colleague at the sheriff’s office, where he worked. She had an inkling this might happen. It’s the goal of the procedure, after all: weak blood is replaced by healthy blood, and with it, the DNA it contains.

 

But four years after his lifesaving procedure, it was not only Long’s blood that was affected. Swabs of his lips and cheeks contained his DNA – but also that of his donor. Even more surprising to Long and other colleagues at the crime lab, all of the DNA in his semen belonged to his donor. β€œI thought that it was pretty incredible that I can disappear and someone else can appear,” he said.

 

Long had become a chimera, the technical term for the rare person with two sets of DNA.

Conversely, the prostate cancer cell line DU145 was the most resistant to its use. In the most sensitive cells, ivermectin induced cell cycle arrest at G0-G1 phase, with modulation of proteins associated with cell cycle control. Furthermore, ivermectin was synergistic with docetaxel, cyclophosphamide and tamoxifen. Ivermectin reduced both cell viability and colony formation capacity in the stem cell-enriched population as compared with the parental one. Finally, in tumor-bearing mice ivermectin successfully reduced both tumor size and weight.

It was an organized event, and it had money behind it. I took that as a sign that by the New Year, Gwanghwamun would be flooded with hundreds of thousands of protesters. Trump Knew β€˜100 Percent’ He Was β€˜Fighting for the Little Guy’: Former Top Trump Economic Adviser

Former President Donald Trump pursued policies that fought against a drift into socialism and culminated in an β€œabsolute success story for the little guy,” according to Kevin Hassett, an economist who was Trump’s top economic adviser during the initial years of the Trump administration.

 

Going into the presidency, Trump β€œabsolutely understood that he was fighting a very big, powerful historical force … and he also knew 100 percent that he was fighting for the little guy,” Hassett, who served as the 29th Chairman of the President’s Council of Economic Advisers from 2017 through 2019, recently told EpochTV’s Crossroads program.

 

Hassett is also vice president of the Lindsey Group and a distinguished visiting fellow at the Hoover Institution. His latest book, titled β€œThe Drift: Stopping America’s Slide to Socialism,” details how the United States has been descending into socialism and how Trump moved to resist the slide. In his book, Hassett details how the American people can also push back against the ongoing β€œdrift.”

 

The Trump administration pursued policies that cut taxes and regulations, changing the U.S. economy for the better, Hassett told Crossroads, adding that during the years he served in the Trump administration, β€œincome inequality dropped sharply for the first time since World War Two, wages grew faster for people in the bottom 10 percent of the wage distribution than for people at the top, as did wealth.

 

β€œThe homeownership grew startlingly for people at the bottom 10 percent, seven million people went off food stamps, [and] three million people went out of poverty,” he added. β€œIt was an absolute success story for the little guy. And yet, the more the good news came, the angrier and angrier the left wing got.”

 

Despite the economic successes that were in part spurred by Trump policies, β€œall these people that became never-Trumpers, that distanced themselves from Trump, [it was] because they were afraid of losing their own respectability,” Hassett said.

This included β€œBush Republicans [who] never came to the defense of Donald Trump’s people even when they were fighting for the right policies,” he noted.

The left uses the weapon of β€œrespectability” created by the leftist-controlled universities and media that touts socialist ideology as one way to influence how people think, Hassett suggested.

 

β€œBecause the left would control of the universities and the control of the media, they act as that is if they could actually give people or take away their respectability.

 

β€œThese [leftist] folks don’t want Trump to succeed, because in the end, they don’t maybe necessarily care about income inequality. It’s just a political device for them to get the political power, they need to seize control of the society, and to take the power for themselves and really take totalitarian power.”

Hassett said his book identifies the various forces aligned against the idea of capitalism and free markets, and β€œhow organized [these forces] are, where they are, what their tactics are, and what we can do to stand up to them.

 

β€œYou need to learn what socialism is, you need to spot it in their policies.”

 

Central planning is β€œeverywhere” in the agenda of the Democrats, Hassett said in the interview.

 

β€œBefore you know it, the government basically controls the means of production, and distributes the goods, without regard to the price mechanism or productivity. And we could go on and on, but that’s the Democrats’ agenda.”

 

Hassett asserted that many of President Joe Biden’s policies are β€œproposing a socialist takeover of the means of production.” He provided some specific examples in the interview.

 

β€œIf you see a country where policies like that survive, that it has to be that they created a government that can disregard the will of the people … if you look at the sort of ruthlessness with which the Democrats have been using the government to indict everybody, and so on, they really are trying to intimidate their way into having control over the economy,” Hassett commented. β€œAnd, you know, it’s up to us to stand up against them.”..

Scientists in South Africa traced a sample of Covid to a 36-year-old woman who was not receiving effective HIV treatment. Tests revealed that she had a persistent Covid infection for 216 days and it accumulated into 32 mutations. This should be a matter of concern to the Ministry of Health in India.

 

β€œPeople with advanced or uncontrolled HIV who have a high viral load of the HIV virus are immunocompromised and if co-infected with Covid are far more likely to die from Coronavirus, and their neglect by the HIV programme could drive the emergence of Covid variants,” said Menghaney.

 

β€œAccording to official figures, at least 35 per cent of those people living with HIV, who come under India’s HIV treatment programme, are immunocompromised and often die of diseases such as TB, meningitis, pneumonia and severe bacterial infections. In addition, for those already on treatment, the government has not monitored antiretroviral therapy (a cocktail of three drugs) with regular viral load testing very well,” she stated.

Trump supports the vaccines that were developed, under the goal of providing protection for people against the SARS-CoV-2 virus, by the scientific community. However, President Trump repeatedly insists that no one should be mandated to take the vaccine.

β€’ The essential Trump position has consistently been:

β€’ β€˜The American and international scientific and medical establishment have determined that SARS-CoV-2 represents a significant threat to public health. Critics of President Trump have argued that the former president should now be taking a strong position in opposition to the vaccines as a result of new information which undermines the original efficacy of them. The vaccines now require boosters, and the vaccines do not stop the spread of infection, ergo they are useless or potentially worse, might cause harm.

β€’ Despite these issues, the position of the United States government has not changed, and all of the previous U.S. medical institutions who advised on the original approach toward vaccination against the pandemic have not reversed their position. Those are the current decision makers for public health, not Donald Trump.

The Omicron variant is at least three times more transmissible than the Delta variant, the Centre said Tuesday in a letter written to the States/UTs. Rajesh Bhushan, the Health Secretary, said considering the transmission speed of Omicron, the States/UTs must take necessary containment measures at the local and district level.

Intensifying its stir over the delay in NEET-PG 2021 counselling, a federation of resident doctors association on Saturday said its members will be forced to go for "mass resignation" from services if their demands are not met at the earliest.

There are several toxicological reports of ivermectin in different species. Four were asymptomatic and 8 had minor symptoms with a mean ingestion of 23 mg/kg (range in 4.2-67 mg/kg). Seven patients manifested severe symptoms, such as coma (seven), aspiration with respiratory failure (four), and hypotension (three), after a mean ingestion of 100.7 mg/kg avermectin (15.4 mg/kg for ivermectin and 114.9 mg/kg for abamectin). All 7 seven patients received intensive supportive care; 1 patient died 18 days later as a result of multiple organ failure [21].

 

In humans it is considered that ivermectin generates low levels of toxicity because its targets are confined within the CNS. Indeed, most patients treated with ivermectin have no side-effects other than those caused by the immune and inflammatory responses against the parasite, such as fever, pruritus, skin rashes and malaise [7,22], and when present, they appear within 24-48 h after treatment [23]. Certainly, moderate symptoms such as arthralgia, dizziness, fever, skin edema, dyspnea and hypotension may be more related with the microfilarial load in the patient rather than with the intrinsic toxicity of ivermectin [24]. Reports on cases of encephalopathy in patients co-infected with onchocerciasis and lymphatic filariasis after 48 h of treatment with ivermectin can be found in the literature [25], but it is believed that this adverse reaction is due to the obstruction of the microcirculation of the brain by the accumulation of dead or paralyzed parasites, which leads to brain embolism [26].

 

In conclusion, the immense number of patients who have been treated with ivermectin shows that it is a safe and a well-tolerated drug. Beyond the side effects attributable to the immunological and inflammatory reaction elicited by dying or death parasites, there are sympathetic signs related to ivermectin intoxication, including tremors, mydriasis, sialorrhea, motor incoordination and coma [27].
