US to unleash strategic oil reserves to lower prices

Biden boasts move will protect Americans from what he claims is ‘Putin’s price hike’

US President Joe Biden unveiled a two-pronged plan on Thursday to lower gas prices by increasing supply anddecreasing demand(WTF is wrong with him?), vowing to lead the country to a future of clean energy while soothing its immediate wounds by unleashing millions of barrels from its strategic reserves.

A “use it or lose it” policy would see Washington punish US oil companies by charging them fees for federal leases they hadn’t drilled on in years, Biden explained. Oil and gas companies are also obligated to use what they have, the president said, pointing to 9,000 unused but approved production permits for federal lands, amounting to more than a million unused acres that US oil and gas companies supposedly have the right to exploit.

If they don’t use the land, Biden suggested, they should pay up. “For US oil companies that are recording their largest profits in years, they can put those profits to productive use by producing more […] restarting idle wells, or producing on the sites they are already leasing.” American families, the president said, “can’t afford to let oil companies sit on their hands.”

What they shouldn’t be doing, he argued, is shipping those profits to investors – $80 billion in the last year alone, he claimed, and likely to increase in 2022. While insisting he was a “capitalist,” Biden chided oil companies for cashing in over “Putin’s price hike” while Americans struggled to put food on the table.

“I have no problem with corporations turning a good profit,” Biden insisted, but “investing those profits in production and innovation, that’s what they should do. Invest in your customers. It’s not [just] the patriotic view; it’s good for your business as well.”

Biden eventually acknowledged that getting oil production restarted took time, but promised to release one million barrels per day from the nation’s strategic oil reserves over the next six months, amounting to 180 million barrels, as a stopgap measure.

This bounty would be temporary, Biden warned, stating that ultimately the US and the rest of the world would have to wean itself off fossil fuels and speed the transition to a “clean energy future that’s made in America with American products and American values.” To get that project off the ground, the president announced he would be using the Defense Production Act to secure an American supply chain for electric vehicle batteries and the minerals needed to make them: lithium, graphite, nickel, and other elements that are scarce in the US but abundant in countries like Russia and China.

Biden, troublingly, did not explain how specifically the Defense Production Act would secure a supply chain for these minerals, and suggested that the country would be involved in spreading the gospel of green energy, exporting those technologies around the world.

He admitted his ideas had come from America’s 11 largest utility companies, whose CEOs visited him earlier in the month, but insisted they had told him energy savings would show up in families’ bills immediately and promised a $6,500 per home payment for families to weatherize their homes.

As for the reasons behind the US’ fuel problems in the first place, Biden blamed first the Covid-19 pandemic for sending the demand for oil plummeting, then the “strength and speed of our recovery” for sending it soaring skyward once again. He ultimately settled on Russian President Vladimir Putin as the real source of Americans’ troubles and the reason why gas rose over a dollar per gallon in many cities as soon as the first Russian soldier set foot in Ukraine.

“Our family budgets, your family budgets, none of it should hinge on whether a dictator declares war,” Biden lamented. Whilethe US gets less than 3% of its oil from Moscow, Biden has repeatedly linked the spike in fuel prices directly to his embargo on Russian oil and gas, eager to be seen as the one dealing out punishment to Russia.

Biden also promised he would not be dissuaded from his plan, revealing he was “open to deals to strengthen the plan but I will not be put off.” He would do whatever was necessary “to protect you from Putin’s price hike,” Biden said, declaring “Americans can’t afford [politics] right now,” but that “we’re the only nation that has turned every crisis we’ve ever faced into an opportunity.”

Latvia outlaws symbols used by Russian troops in Ukraine for “glorifying aggression”

The parliament of Latvia has adopted a law banning the display of the letters “Z” and “V” in public, saying the symbols used by Russian troops in Ukraine stand for glorifying aggression and war crimes. The former Soviet republic, now an EU and NATO member, acted after the government in Kiev called for the censorship of the symbols.

The Saeima used urgent procedure to vote on Thursday on amendments prohibiting displays of “military aggression and war crimes” at public events.

The law also says no permits for public events will be given if they are held within 200 meters of monuments commemorating the Soviet Army in Latvia. Individuals convicted under the new law will be fined up to €400, while companies can be fined up to €3,200.

“In condemning Russia’s hostilities in Ukraine, we must take a firm stand that symbols glorifying Russian military aggression, such as the letters 'Z', 'V' or other symbols used for such purposes, have no place in public events,” Artuss Kaimins, chair of the Saeima’s Human Rights and Public Affairs Commission, said in a statement.

His words echo those of Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba, who earlier this week called on the entire world to “criminalize” the “Z” as support for Russian “barbarism.” A Slovenian diplomat on Thursday revealed that his embassy in Kiev was asked to take down their flag because it was too similar to that of Russia.

Several German states have already said they would fine individuals for displays of the symbol. Latvia’s neighbor Lithuania is also considering a ban on “Z,” as well as the black-and-orange St.George’s ribbon, used on Soviet WWII victory medals.

Latvia officially bans symbols glorifying Nazi or Communist regimes, except when used for “educational, scientific or artistic purposes.” That has not stopped the annual marches honoring Latvian members of the Waffen-SS. Some 200 people gathered in Riga on March 16 to honor Hitler’s collaborators, after a two-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Neither V nor Z are part of the Russian alphabet, which uses the Cyrillic script. Both symbols have been used to distinguish Russian vehicles taking part in military operations in Ukraine over the past month.

Imran Khan accuses the US of meddling as no-confidence vote looms

Pakistani PM Imran Khan ‘accidentally’ named the United States as the culprit when he claimed “a foreign country I can’t name” was eager to see him removed from his post via a no-confidence vote.

“America has – oh, not America but a foreign country I can’t name” sent the leader the message in an effort to meddle in his country’s politics, Khan said in a televised address on Thursday, after a no-confidence vote against him was rescheduled.

Khan had received a briefing letter from the Pakistani ambassador to the US that included a recording of a senior official from Washington implying the relationship between the two countries would improve in Khan’s absence, local media reported on Thursday.

"It was really valuable for us to have the opportunity to speak to him," Luria told MSNBC. The Democratic representative declined to provide specifics about Kushner's appearance before the panel via videolink, but said he commented on various reports about events of the day that have already been published.

"He was able to voluntarily provide information to us to verify, substantiate, provide his own take on this different reporting," she said.

Kushner is the first close relative of the former president known to have spoken to the House Select Committee. He also served as a senior adviser in the Trump White House.

A committee spokesman declined comment.

The Select Committee has conducted hundreds of interviews in its investigation of the attack on the Capitol last year by supporters of Trump as lawmakers were poised to certify the Republican's defeat in the November 2020 presidential election by Democratic President Joe Biden.

Washington’s point man on anti-Russia sanctions warned India against deeper cooperation with Moscow

A top US national security official has called on India to scale back its economic and military ties with Russia,warning of “consequences” for any nation that helps Moscow avoid a recent wave of Western sanctions.

Speaking to reporters after meeting with Indian officials on Thursday, Washington’s deputy national security adviser for international economicsDaleep Singhurged New Delhi not to boost Russian energy imports, and to avoid any moves that might “undermine” the US dollar.

Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov also visited the Indian capital on Thursday, coinciding with official meetings with Singh as well as UK Foreign Secretary Liz Truss.

Though American, Australian and British officials have criticized India’s refusal to go along with the sanctions spree, US State Department spokesman Ned Price insisted that Washington is not “seeking to change” any nation’s “relationship with the Russian Federation,” citing India in particular.

“What we are seeking to do, whether it is in the context of India or other partners and allies around the world, is to do all we can” to ensure that “the international community is speaking in unison,” Price added in comments on Lavrov’s trip.

While condemning Russia’s “needless war” on Ukraine, Singh said his visit to India was “in a spirit of friendship to explain the mechanisms of our sanctions,” but nonetheless warned that there would be “consequences [for] countries that actively attempt to circumvent or backfill” those penalties. Putin warns West of new migrant crisis

The Russian president said that a global food crisis would “inevitably” be followed by a migration wave

Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned Europe of a new influx of migrants that, in his opinion, will “inevitably” follow the food crisis.

Discussing on Thursday the unprecedented sanctions imposed on Moscow by the West in response to the Russian attack on Ukraine, Putin criticized the behavior of some Western politicians, who are allegedly prepared tosacrifice their citizens’ interests in order to “enjoy the good graces of their overseas master and overlord,” branding such an approach as “the opposite of populism.”

“People are urged to eat less, put on more clothes, and use less heating, give up on travel – presumably for the benefit of the people who are demanding this kind of voluntary deprivation as a sign of someabstract North Atlantic solidarity,” Putin said at a meeting on air transportation and aircraft manufacturing on Thursday.

He underlined that Moscow has been seeing “such questionable approaches and actions” in economic, energy, and food policies for more than a year.

Incidentally, the food crisis will inevitably be followed by another one, another wave of migration, primarily to the European countries.

A few days ago, the risks of an “unprecedented” global food crisis were discussed at the G7 summit in Brussels. Since Russia and Ukraine are key crop suppliers in the world, the G7 leaders have blamed Moscow’s offensive in Ukraine for a looming crisis and are now discussing a package of measures to prevent food shortages.

Nevertheless, in Putin’s opinion, theWest continues to make decisions that “are pushing the global economy towards crisis,” leading to the disruption of production and logistics chains, an increase in global inflation, and the aggravation of inequality, to a decline in the living standards of millions of people, and to mass famine in the poorest countries.

Putin accused the US of trying to solve its own problems at the expense of other countries and to shift the blame for its own economic mistakes onto Russia. Moreover, in the president’s opinion, the US is going to try to cash in on the current global instability, for example, by attempting “to push Europe towards expensive American liquid natural gas.”

Putin added that all the sanctions which are being imposed on Moscow now “have been prepared in advance” and “would have been imposed in any case.” They are poised, according to the president, “to curb Russia’s development,” to undermine its sovereignty and to weaken its “industrial, financial and technological potential.”

Taking into consideration the fact that the West has been imposing the restrictions against Russia for many years, there is no point thinking that this approach would change any time soon, Putin emphasized.

The West strongly condemned Russia’s military attack on Ukraine, calling it “unlawful” and “unjustified,” and slapped Moscow with hard-hitting sanctions, covering many sectors of the Russian economy. The restrictions include Washington’s ban on energy imports, an international ban for the use of the SWIFT interbank messaging system, and personal sanctions against Putin. Hundreds of companies have suspended or completely halted their operations in Russia.

In response, Moscow has included most of the Western countries in its list of “unfriendly states.” All of these countries are now subject to various retaliation measures, restrictions, and specific requirements from Russia. For example, Moscow now wants all “unfriendly” states to pay for gas supplies in rubles. Another retaliatory initiative saw the Finance Ministry requesting that Russian companies that want to work with firms from countries on the list receive government permission first.

Poland asks for billions in EU funding for Ukrainian refugees

The Polish deputy minister believes that eventually his country will get the funds but is glad that it didn’t wait for them

I’m convinced countries that take in refugees do it for the money laudering and they love war for this reason. As much as the majority have goid hearts the countries know money flows when wars are ignited. Of all places Poland ahould not be im support of Ukraine (caveat with my minimal understanding of the countries).

Poland has requested €2.2 billion from the EU to cover the costs associated with the Ukrainian refugees, the country’s deputy interior minister, Blazej Pobozy, has revealed.

Speaking to the TVP Info broadcaster, Pobozy explained that, with such an influx of refugees, the costs are huge and are expected to rise even more.

“We calculate the costs at around a thousand euros per person for the first six months. At this moment, the needs which we reported to the European Commission have amounted to 2 billion 200 million euros,” the official said.

He added that Poland is not only “a spokesman” for the Ukrainians in Europe but also a country helping the refugees “here and now,” and thus it has all the grounds to apply for funds from the EU “here and now.” According to Pobozy, only 16 million euros have been allocated for his ministry so far to deal with the crisis, which was obviously not enough.

“So far, Poland has not received any money for refugees from the European Commission,” he said.

The deputy minister believes, however, that eventually his country will receive the requested funds. He emphasized, however, that if Poland waited for money to arrive before providing help to the refugees, there would by now be “a gigantic humanitarian catastrophe.”

According to the latest data from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, the total number of refugees having fled Ukraine since the launch of Russia’s attack on February 24 exceeds 4 million. More than 2.3 million are now in Poland.

Russia attacked its neighbor in late February, following Ukraine’s failure to implement the terms of the Minsk agreements signed in 2014, and Russia’s eventual recognition of the Donbass republics in Donetsk and Lugansk. The German and French brokered protocols had been designed to regularize the status of those regions within the Ukrainian state.

Russia has now demanded that Ukraine officially declare itself a neutral country that will never join the US-led NATO military bloc. Kiev insists the Russian offensive was completely unprovoked and has denied claims it was planning to retake the two republics by force.

Do you ever have the feeling that you’re being watched?

I do, all of the time.

At first, I thought it was because of the heightened state of being I was in, due to being on my ADHD meds, and yet, I felt like I was in some government operation, well, in my head. Considering how much time we’ve all spent here, I think it would be healthy for us to start sharing some of the deeper aspects of what happened to us, as a whole. I do think we’ve all been in someway targeted for our positions in this silent war, running on some server somewhere in the clouds, but there is an ‘enemy’ of sorts, and to the best of my knowledge that still have to be humans on the other end of these so-called weapons. I thought about it long and hard, if you were up to no good for the past few years, you were getting spied on… the funny part is, drugs.

Everyone does drugs.

Not just the cabal. I learned this from going to many detoxes/rehabs/psych wards over the past decade… drugs do not care WHO YOU ARE OR WHO YOU THINK YOU ARE! This is why all walks of life would end up there in these facilities. You’d hear all kinds of wild stories, called glory-stories, about people going on binges, sucking dick for drugs, robbing banks, etc. I shit you not, people are honest in rehabs, and you somehow accept that the people you talk in groups with are going to keep that shit secret, and you know what, half the time I think we do. We’re more preoccupied in getting drugs anyway to be concerned with other people’s problems anyway. One of my biggest problems in falling in love with femAnons inside rehabs, because I think if a woman does drugs with me, everything is perfect. This is where SHEILD comes in. We shared the same interests and that is where I make the distinction. People associate the voices in their heads with the people they may know. Big mistake.

There is a reason my flow of consciousness is being written this way. Notice how it’s all over the place?

We aren’t alone. I know I sound crazy, but I’ve been lead to believe that my right legs’ spasms are actually being caused remotely by POTUS somehow. I enjoy it POTUS don’t worry.

Abstract

Currently, the world is struggling with the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Prion-like domains are critical for virulence and the development of therapeutic targets; however, the prion-like domains in the SARS-CoV-2 proteome have not been analyzed. In this in silico study, using the PLAAC algorithm, we identified the presence of prion-like domains in the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein. Compared with other viruses, a striking difference was observed in the distribution of prion-like domains in the spike protein, since SARS-CoV-2 was the only coronavirus with a prion-like domain found in the receptor-binding domain of the S1 region of the spike protein. The presence and unique distribution of prion-like domains in the SARS-CoV-2 receptor-binding domains of the spike protein is particularly interesting, since although the SARS-CoV-2 and SARS-CoV S proteins share the same host cell receptor, angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2), SARS-CoV-2 demonstrates a 10- to 20-fold higher affinity for ACE2. Finally, we identified prion-like domains in the α1 helix of the ACE2 receptor that interact with the viral receptor-binding domain of SARS-CoV-2. Taken together, the present findings indicate that the identified PrDs in the SARS-CoV-2 receptor-binding domain (RBD) and ACE2 region that interact with RBD have important functional roles in viral adhesion and entry.

Azerbaijan planning ‘large-scale’ attack, Armenia claims

Yerevan claims Baku is looking for a pretext for a military offensive

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has accused Azerbaijan of trying to create a pretext for launching “a large-scale attack on Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh.”

The latter is a disputed region, most of which has been under Yerevan's de-facto control since the collapse of the USSR in 1991. In the fall of 2020, Armenia and Azerbaijan fought a relatively short, but bloody, war over the territory. It ended with Baku making gains and Russia brokering a peace agreement, which saw Moscow send peacekeepers to the area.

Pashinyan cited Baku’s claims that Yerevan had not responded to its five-point peace settlement proposal, sent via the Minsk Group - established in 1992, by the OSCE – on March 10. According to the Armenian prime minister, his government responded on March 14.

Speaking on Thursday at a government meeting, Pashinyan said that Baku “first dumps theses on a diplomatic or public platform,” and “ascribes some promises to Armenia,” claiming later that Yerevan is not complying with the agreements.

Pashinyan believes that “Baku is trying to legitimize a large-scale attack on Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh.” There is considerable concern in Yerevan that the Azeris might take advantage of the current situation where Russia is embroiled in the Ukraine conflict.

Nevertheless, the prime minister expressed hope that, despite rising tensions in bilateral relations, his upcoming meeting in Brussels with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and European Council President Charles Michel on April 6 will bear fruit.

“I once again express Armenia’s readiness to sign a peace agreement with Azerbaijan. Armenia is ready for the immediate start of peace negotiations,” Pashinyan said.

On Thursday, Azerbaijan’s leader also expressed support for a peace agreement as soon as possible.

The last few weeks have seen a significant escalation in tensions around Nagorno-Karabakh – a region populated with ethnic Armenians, but internationally recognized as part of Azerbaijan – with the international community expressing concern over the developments.

Armenia has accused Azerbaijan of seizing two villages, Khramort and Parukh – which the Azerbaijanis call Farukh – located on the armistice line which was established in 2020 between Azerbaijan and the self-proclaimed Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR). Armenian media claims that the ensuing firefight, which allegedly involved Turkish-made Bayraktar TB2 combat drones, resulted in more than a dozen wounded and three killed on its side, as well as an unspecified number of Azerbaijani casualties.

Baku denied the accusations, saying its troops were simply “continuing the process of clarifying their locations and positions without the use of force.”

However, on March 26, Russian peacekeepers, who are currently patrolling the NKR, reported that the Azerbaijani military had violated the ceasefire, launching airstrikes against forces of the breakaway region. Baku then accused Russia of taking a “one-sided” view of the events. Blaming Armenia for the escalation, Azerbaijan claimed that it was responding to a “covert attack” by the “illegal Armenian forces.”

Papers show how the Ukraine stays a Western proxy in a war with with Russia

On March 15, US President Joe Biden signed a bill approving a staggering $13.6 billion in aid to Ukraine. Heavily promoted in advance as a vital lifeline to Kiev that would safeguard citizens, defend refugees, and protect democracy, references to the supposedly landmark move immediately vanished from the mainstream media following its White House approval, and have remained absent ever since.

One explanation for this informational deficit could well be that in reality, the legislation serves no tangible benevolent ends of any kind, in fact providing an effective blank cheque for proxy war, anduntrammelled embezzlement by US government agencies and contractors.

This much is certain from a precursory analysis of the bill’s lengthy underlying text. The term “military” crops up over 350 times, “humanitarian” just 58. What’s more, almost half the headline $13.6 billion wellspring ($6.5 billion) has already been allocated - to cover the cost of weapons shipments to Ukraine and the buildup of NATO forces in the region in January and February this year. In other words, before the war had even formally begun.

Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) reports published in the weeks prior to the war commencing highlight some of the gruesome purposes to which this “lethal aid” may have been put. In one representative filing on February 18, its investigators documented how a kindergarten in breakaway Luhansk had been struck by shrapnel, while 20 children were being taught inside. Luckily, they all escaped uninjured.

The same report noted that, “in violation of withdrawal lines,” OSCE observers identified placement of surface-to-air-missile systems, howitzers, anti-tank guns and multiple-launch rocket systems in government-controlled areas of Donetsk. Neither this blatantly belligerent activity, nor the Organization recording how the overwhelming majority of missile and rocket attacks carried out in the days leading up to the invasion were targeted at breakaway areas by government forces, has ever been mentioned by a Western news outlet.

This may be partially explained by the US, UK and Canada pulling out of the OSCE mission in Ukraine in mid-February, allegedly due to fears of impending Russian invasion – another rationale for the English-speaking trio’s withdrawal could be that revealing the reality of egregious government abuses in Eastern Ukraine was problematic, and politically unpopular at home.

The mainstream code of silence on such crimes against humanity is no longer rigorously maintained. In fact, many current and former Western state and deep-state officials have been unabashed in confirming Washington’s overriding priority is arming Kiev to the teeth, to foment a protracted insurrection and trap Russia in a bloodspattered quagmire, in the manner of the Soviet-Afghan War.

This comparison was drawn favorably by US lawmaker Adam Smith, House Armed Services Committee chair, after legislation to establish a “Ukraine Resistance Fund” was recently drafted. Speaking to MSNBC on February 28, failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton echoed his endorsement, stating “the model that people are now looking toward” in respect of the Ukraine crisis is the “armed insurgency [that] basically drove the Russians out of Afghanistan.”

Washington’s shameful experience of funding, arming and training the Afghan resistance is much-venerated in modern US foreign policy circles today, despite the strategy creating the conditions that led to the tragedy of 9/11, on the alleged basis it was fundamental to the fall of Communism. However, many mainstream historians - and indeed the CIA’s then-Soviet Affairs chief - largely or completely discount the Afghan war as a factor in the Soviet Union’s collapse.

In its defense, the “aid” bill contains some protocols related to food and medical aid, although details on what will be sent to whom and where are troublingly unforthcoming.

The State Department is afforded lone responsibility for deciding every aspect of distribution, with no apparent obligation on the part of officials to publicly account for any allocations - raising the obvious prospect that the intended beneficiaries of this ostensibly humanitarian disbursement could well be soldiers, mercenaries or guerilla fighters.

Conversely, it could be that these projects are concerned with selling inflammatory, indirect US intervention in the Ukraine crisis to its own population, on a false prospectus.

This was very much the case with ‘aid’ projects during the two-decade-long Western occupation of Afghanistan, as a withering August 2021 official review of US reconstruction efforts in the country during that deplorable period made abundantly clear. The appraisal found the amount of money being spent on reconstruction projects, such as the creation of new hospitals, was “the most important measure of success” for US officials - rather than the projects being worthwhile or even remotely viable.

In turn, false claims of projects’ ‘success’ were then fed to US lawmakers and citizens in order to convince them Washington’s ongoing, costly presence in Afghanistan wasn’t the total, counterproductive failure it actually was. This “institutional drive to produce good news stories” produced a situation in which Washington spent money “faster than it could be accounted for,” so as to generate positive press coverage “as quickly as possible.”

As part of this cynical push, representatives of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) were frequently “bulldozed” by their military counterparts into pursuing projects in areas of Afghanistan “far too dangerous for them to have a stabilizing effect.” In essence, the bigger the associated risks, the greater the ‘success’ that could be claimed.

The Agency was therefore forced to depend on contractors, and “sometimes unable to establish with confidence even the most basic information” about a project’s progress as a result. Despite this, USAID’s reliance on these external actors endured unabated, creating a cottage industry of companies willing to defraud the Agency, and suppliers eager to help them do it.

On the subject of USAID, the organization is frequently referenced in the new aid bill, for example sharing a $145-million slush fund of “aid to independent media, journalists and civil activists” and counteract “disinformation and provide factual data about the situation in Ukraine” with the US Agency for Global Media (USAGM), parent of notorious CIA-created propaganda outlets Radio Free Asia and Voice of America, among others.

USAID’s status as a “humanitarian” organization has long-been questioned,

with many charging thatit acts as an effective CIA front. A proposal published by the Agency’s internal “global development lab” in February 2019 should surely put to bed any doubts that it doesn’t.

The paper advocated forUSAID staffersto be trained as special operations forces in order for them to effectively and intimately collaborate with military and intelligence agencies, so they act as “super enablers” and optimally serve US “national security” interests through “a mix of offensive, defensive, and stability operations in extremis conditions.”

So much for trying to feed and heal Ukranians affected by the war. How will ‘beneficiaries’ of this aid know if the person ‘helping’ them is in fact a US deep state operative fulfilling a malign, sinister agenda of some kind, on behalf of the CIA?

In sum, Biden’s aid bill is an epic testament to the law of Maslow’s gavel - “it is tempting, if the only tool you have is a hammer, to treat everything as if it were a nail.”

With the US spending more on defense than the next 11 countries combined, and the White House having just requested a$31-billion war chest for the 2022/23 financial year, bringing the total budget to $813 billion, it’s no wonder Washington only views matters through a military lens. It has no other choice.

"German Chemical Giant Warns Of "Total Collapse" If Russian Gas Supply Cut"

"CEO of Germany's multinational BASF SE, the world's largest chemical producer, has warned that curbing or cutting off energy imports from Russia would bring into doubt the continued existence of small and medium-sized energy companies, and further would likely spiral Germany into its most "catastrophic" economic crisis going back to the end of World War 2.

Company CEO Martin Brudermuller issued the words in an interview with Frankfurter Allgemeine newspaper just ahead of German officials by midweek giving an "early warning" to industries and the population of possible natural gas shortages, as Russia appears ready to firmly hold to Putin's recent declaration that "unfriendly countries" must settle energy payments in rubles, related to the Ukraine crisis and resultant Western sanctions.

According to Bloomberg he mused that while "Germany could be independent from Russia gas in four to five years" it remains that "LNG imports cannot be increased quickly enough to replace all Russian gas flows in the short term."

"But in the meantime, Brudermuller described that "It's not enough that we all turn down the heating by 2 degrees now" given that "Russia covers 55 percent of German natural gas consumption." He emphasized that if Russian gas disappeared overnight, "many things would collapse here" - given that "we would have high levels of unemployment, and many companies would go bankrupt. This would lead to irreversible damage." He continued:

"To put it bluntly: This could bring the German economy into its worst crisis since the end of the Second World War and destroy our prosperity. For many small and medium-sized companies in particular, it could mean the end. We can't risk that!"

The dire warning of coming disaster in the event Russian gas is shut off came in response being questioned over whether it's at all possible to abandon Russian energy.

Asserting that this issue is not "black and white" - and that the German economy stands on the brink of catastrophe, the BASF CEO said that if this standoff continues to escalate it will "open the eyes of many on both sides"…

And what if, for example, Putin's demand for payment in rubles leads to an immediate stop in gas supplies?

"A delivery stop for a short time would perhaps open the eyes of many - on both sides. It would make clear the magnitude of the consequences. But if we don't get any more Russian gas for a long time, then we really have a problem here in Germany. At BASF, we would have to scale back or completely shut down production at our largest site in Ludwigshafen if the supply fell significantly and permanently below 50 percent of our maximum natural gas requirement. Minister Habeck has already activated the early warning level of the gas emergency plan."

Separate sources estimate that at Ludwigshafen alone this scenario would immediately lead to some 40,000 employees being possibly laid off, or at least put on short-time working hours."

"He warned further in the interview that many Germans are currently greatly underestimating the consequences of what Russia shutting off the taps would mean… nothing less than a historic crisis:

"Many have misconceptions. I notice that in many of the conversations I have. People often make no connection at all between a boycott and their own job. As if our economy and our prosperity were set in stone."

He explained that higher prices are already having a huge impact on the food supply given at this point BASF has been forced to reduce the production of ammonia for fertilizer production.

Brudermuller called this "a catastrophe and we will feel it even more clearly next year than this one. Because most of the fertilizers that the farmers need this year have already been bought. In 2023 there will be a shortage, and then the poor countries in particular, for example in Africa, will no longer be able to afford to buy basic foodstuffs." In a very alarming statement and forewarning, he added: "There is a risk of famine."

"Yesterday two suspected members of the Ninth Circle Satanic Child Sacrifice Cult were arrested during their preparations for what appeared to be a child sacrifice. Evidently the child homicide was to take place on a blood-stained altar in the basement of a residence in the upscale neighborhood of Outremont Montreal Quebec Canada. During an older woman's arrest she admitted that the child sacrifice was scheduled for midnight and involved executives of America's Sinclair Oil and food giant cargill Corporation. According to an officer of the Brussels Belgium ICLCJ Court, their team worked in conjunction with Montreal police to perform the citizens arrests.

"This informant claimed that the two children to be used at the Montreal event were held at a separate facility at McGill University," the ICLCJ Court press release stated, "but she claimed not to know where. She said that the normal procedure was to deliver them in a drugged condition just before the ritual began. The woman said cult members describe themselves as part of the Ninth Circle society and carried tattoos of the Ninth Circle insignia.?"

"Months ago a survivor testified that as a child they were taken to cargill Corporate Headquarters in Wayzata Minn where they were forced to observe a child sacrifice. From what other eyewitnesses reported to the ICLCJ Court, Ninth Circle members appear to be very influential and able to get away with doing child sacrifices across the globe."

A security guard at the Montreal private residence showed arresting officers a small sub-basement sound proof chamber that contained a blood-stained stone altar and two small prison cells with wall shackles. An adjoining room held locked cabinets with child pornographic material and articles of children's clothing. Evidence such as samples of blood, metallic torture devices, ceremonial swords and sophisticated film equipment was photographed and bagged for analysis.

The suspect identified child sacrifice participants as cargill Corporation Executive Kerry Brick of Wayzata Minnesota and Sinclair Oil Executive Stephen Holding of Sun Valley Idaho. A prior ICLCJ document claimed other Ninth Circle members included Montreal Catholic Archbishop Christian Lepine and a prominent US billionaire. This same influential American businessman has been identified by eyewitnesses as being at Ninth Circle human hunting parties in the Netherlands. Children were stripped naked, raped, hunted down and killed - as were children in an Australian CIA mind control program according to eyewitness Fiona Barnett. McGill University had a history of torturing children in satanic-related mind control experiments. In the early 1950s at McGill, President of the Canadian, American and World Psychiatric Associations D. Ewen Cameron, tortured children as part of USA's CIA MKULTRA program. But Russia wants Rubles now. Germany needs to get Rubles if if wants Russian gas. Germany does not need dollars to buy Russian gas, so Germany sends the dollars away, and gets Rubles. They might trade the dollars for rubles or gold. There's a ton of dollars that are not needed, coming back, causing inflation, if all the countries who sell energy asked for their own currency or gold.

What do Stephen Paddock and now retired Ventura County Sheriff Dean have in common? They both are around the same age, both graduated from the same university around the same time. Both were involved in suspicious shooting events that shared the same survivors, and furthermore both of the them either retired or kicked the bucket respectively on the same eve of two of the most horrific mass shootings in US history, the deadly Route 91 Harvest Festival and the borderline bar shootings. A ransomware attack on a Pfizer vendor triggered overpayments to hourly staffers — and now the pharma giant wants most of that money back

Pfizer employees say they're frustrated and angry over a payroll mistake that could force them to give back money some have already spent.

"I think everybody is just really disheartened with how all of this was handled. To ask for this money back, is just I think morally wrong,” said one employee who requested anonymity, over fear of retribution from Pfizer.

One employee provided WWMT with a letter and documents received last week that showed Pfizer telling the employee they owed more than $800 in overpayment. Another employee said the issue is affecting hourly workers all across the company.

Pfizer said the overpayments happened following a ransomware attack on Ultimate Kronos Group in December 2021. Pfizer uses Kronos to track the hours employees work and pay them.

“We all feel that this is Pfizer’s payroll mistake. We never asked for this money, we were never consulted on whether we wanted extra money,” the anonymous Pfizer worker said.

The employee said they had no idea they were being overpaid and the money Pfizer is asking for has already been spent.

“We feel very much taken advantage of. We feel the stockholders are the only ones benefiting and we were kind of just gone to the wayside,” the employee said.

According to Pfizer's letter, affected workers can choose to repay the money over one, three, or six months. The letter went on to say the company will not take money from future paychecks without notice.

Pfizer also said it would pay $250 towards each worker's overpayment balance.

Pfizer, which produced one of the three COVID-19 vaccines available in the U.S., reported more than $80 billion in revenues for 2021 and 92% operational growth. It was also the first COVID-19 vaccine to receive emergency use authorization from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

The Iowa House voted 60-30 in favor of passing a bill that would require Iowa public and charter schools to post their curriculum and books online for parents to review.

Some educators have argued that the bill (HF2577) will limit their ability to "adapt and meet the individualized needs of their students."

The bill will give parents the ability to review instructional materials and request that their children opt out of certain reading materials. If the schools materials do end up changing, teachers will be required to update the information online by week's end or be subject to a fine between $500-$5,000.

The bill will now make its way through the state Senate.
