The "rules-based order" is at it again!

 

From Axios, "White House proposes plan to sell Russian yachts for Ukraine aid":

 

The White House unveiled a proposed legislative package on Thursday that would allow the federal government to sell assets seized from Russian oligarchs over the Kremlin's invasion of Ukraine and to use the proceeds for military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

 

Why it matters: The U.S. has already seized million of dollars in assets from wealthy Russians with close ties to President Vladimir Putin. It and other governments are hoping that financial pressure on those individuals will translate into political pressure on Putin, potentially curtailing his power.

 

- The proposal comes after the House of Representatives voted overwhelmingly on Wednesday to urge the Biden administration to liquidate the seized assets to help Ukraine.

 

This is just straightforward, unabashed, naked piracy.

 

The Biden regime carried out another similar act of piracy last year by seizing an Iranian oil tanker and selling off its over 2 million barrels of oil for $110 million.

 

Zelensky said last week (perhaps during a coke binge) that he needs $7 billion a month.

Obama-Appointed Judge Won’t Allow Hillary Clinton’s Tweet Claiming Trump Colluded with Russian Alfa Bank to be Admitted as Evidence in Sussmann Trial

 

An Obama judge will not allow Hillary Clinton’s tweet claiming Trump colluded with Russia to be admitted as evidence in Michael Sussmann’s trial.

 

As previously reported, Special Prosecutor John Durham wanted to use Hillary Clinton’s tweet accusing Trump of having a secret line of communication with Russian Alfa Bank as evidence in Michael Sussmann’s trial next month.

 

Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann’s motion to dismiss Durham’s case was denied by a federal judge a couple weeks ago.

 

Sussmann was indicted last September for lying to the FBI.

 

According to the indictment, Sussmann falsely told James Baker he wasn’t doing work “for any client” when he asked for a meeting with the FBI where he presented bogus evidence the Trump Tower was secretly communicating with Kremlin-tied Alfa Bank.

 

Hillary Clinton fired off a tweet claiming Trump Tower was secretly communicating with Russian Alfa Bank.

 

The defamatory tweet is still on Twitter.

 

US District Judge Christopher Cooper, an Obama appointee on Wednesday denied Durham’s request to use Hillary Clinton’s tweet in Sussmann’s trial.

Hillary Clinton’s tweet touting Trump-Russia collusion claims will not be allowed as evidence in the trial against Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann despite efforts by special counsel John Durham

 

On Wednesday, Judge Christopher Cooper, an Obama appointee, denied Durham’s efforts to bring the tweet up at trial, saying “the court will exclude that as hearsay” and that “it’s likely duplicative of other evidence” related to demonstrating the attorney-client relationship.

 

Durham had told the federal court earlier this month that he wanted the October 2016 tweet from the Clinton campaign promoting the Alfa-Bank claims to be admitted as evidence at the May trial.

 

The special counsel argued the tweet is not inadmissible hearsay “because it is not being offered for its truth” — emphasizing that the prosecutors actually believe its claims were false. Durham said he instead wanted to present the tweet to “show the existence of the defendant’s attorney-client relationship with the Clinton Campaign, which is directly relevant to the false statement charge.”

Second Threat Letter Containing a Bullet Sent to Israeli PM's Son

 

Details concerning the investigation into the original threat made against the family on Tuesday were placed under a gag order, and it remains unclear whether the new letter was sent by the same suspect or inspired a copy-cat

 

Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett's son received a threatening letter containing a bullet on Thursday, the second death threat sent to the family in the space of 48 hours.

 

Not long after Israeli police and the Shin Bet security agency began investigating the first death threat made against the prime minister's family on Tuesday, another letter was sent to his eldest son, Yoni, also containing a bullet cartridge.

 

Sources told Haaretz that the Shin Bet and police have been notified of the new death threat, and are yet to release a statement.

 

Any further details concerning the investigation into the threat made against the family on Tuesday were placed under a gag order, and police have not released any details concerning the suspects.

 

A statement released by Bennett said that "After receiving a threatening letter that was intended for the prime minister and his family, security officials at the Prime Minister's Office have decided to increase the security detail protecting the prime minister's family."

 

On Wednesday, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett addressed growing divisions among Israelis in his Holocaust Remembrance Day speech at Yad Vashem.

7 face charges for sex crimes involving children: Quebec City police

 

Quebec City police say seven people face charges in an ongoing investigation into alleged sex crimes against children.

 

The seven arrested Wednesday face several charges including sexual assault, sexual contact with a person under the age of 16, and producing, possessing, and distributing child pornography.

 

Other charges include violating court-imposed conditions, fraud, and concealment.

 

Police say the investigation was launched in 2021 following a tip. The alleged crimes date back to 2020 and 2021.

 

“The suspects have been interviewed by investigators and they have all been released on a promise to appear,” police said in a statement.

 

The investigation is ongoing and police said more arrests could be made.

Ukrainian soldier says Elon Musk’s Starlink ‘changed the war’ with Russia: report

"Elon Musk’s decision to provide SpaceX Starlink satellite internet to assist Ukraine during the Russian invasion has been a major boost to the country’s military, a Ukrainian soldier who has been fighting since mid-March reportedly said this week.

 

Musk shipped Starlink terminals to Ukraine in late February at the request of top government officials, who raised concerns that the country would lose internet access due to targeted Russian attacks.

 

A Ukrainian soldier identified as “Dima” and based in the city of Dnipro described Starlink’s impact during an interview with journalist David Patrikarakos – noting the satellite-based broadband has made it more difficult for Russia to interfere with communication.

 

“I want to say one thing: @elonmusk’s Starlink is what changed the war in #Ukraine’s favor. #Russia went out of its way to blow up all our comms. Now they can’t. Starlink works under Katyusha fire, under artillery fire,” the soldier said, according to Patrikarakos’ Twitter thread detailing their interview."

"The soldier said Starlink “even works in Mariupol,” where Russia has engaged in a brutal siege and heavy shelling that has decimated the city.

 

Ukraine Vice Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, who first requested that Musk provide Starlink access, told the Washington Post last month that the service has proven “very effective” in keeping the country online. More than 5,000 Starlink terminals were active in Ukraine as of mid-March."

"Starlink has played a key role in Ukraine’s military operations – reportedly providing a connection for Ukrainian drones that are being used to target and destroy Russian tanks.

 

Musk has provided regular updates on Twitter about Starlink capabilities in Ukraine. In early March, the billionaire jabbed Russian officials, revealing SpaceX took action due to “strange” internet outages in the country."

A former adviser to the Kremlin explains how Russia views the war in Ukraine, fears over Nato and China, and the fate of liberalism.

Aformer presidential adviser to both Boris Yeltsin and Vladimir Putin, Sergey Karaganov is honorary chair of the Moscow think tank the Council for Foreign and Defence Policy. He is associated with a number of key ideas in Russian foreign policy, from the so-called Karaganov doctrine on the rights of ethnic Russians living abroad to the principle of “constructive destruction”, also known as the “Putin doctrine”. Karaganov is close to both Putin and his foreign minister, Sergei Lavrov, and he formulated many of the ideas that led to the war in Ukraine – though he has also expressed disagreement with the idea of a long-term occupation of the country.

 

Karaganov has promoted the concept of “Greater Eurasia” and has defended a closer partnership with China. He is known as a foreign-policy hawk, and has argued that the long reign of the West in world politics is now at an end. On 28 March the New Statesman columnist Bruno Maçães interviewed Karaganov about his views on the war – including controversial statements on Ukrainian nationhood and denazification that would be disputed by those outside Russia – and the future of the liberal international order.

Sergey Karaganov For 25 years, people like myself have been saying that if Nato and Western alliances expand beyond certain red lines, especially into Ukraine, there will be a war. I envisioned that scenario as far back as 1997. In 2008 President Putin said that if Ukraine’s membership of the alliance became a possibility then there will be no Ukraine. He was not listened to. So the first objective is to end Nato’s expansion. Two other objectives have been added: one is the demilitarisation of Ukraine; the other is denazification, because there are people in the Russian government concerned with the rise of ultra-nationalism in Ukraine to the extent that they think it is beginning to resemble Germany in the 1930s. There is also an aim to free the Donbas republics of eight years of constant bombardment.

 

There was also a strong belief that war with Ukraine was inevitable – maybe three or four years from now – which could well have taken place on Russian territory itself. So probably the Kremlin decided that if you have to fight, let’s fight on somebody else’s territory, the territory of a neighbour and a brother country, once a part of the Russian Empire. But the real war is against the Western expansion.

An Antifa member in San Diego who was charged with multiple felonies, allegedly has a close relationship with an investigator for the San Diego Public Defender Office. And together they may have obtained privileged information with which to intimidate victims and witnesses, according to a prosecutor in explosive court filings uncovered this week.

 

“I am also aware that Jesse Cannon is or was romantically involved with Leah Madbak who works as an investigator for the San Diego Public Defender Office,” wrote San Diego County deputy district attorney Will Hopkins. His three-page declaration requesting a protective order regulating the release of discovery was originally filed in December 2021.

 

Jesse Cannon allegedly shoved a victim from a bicycle onto the ground, whereupon other Antifa members ganged up on that victim.

Prosecutor Hopkins cites the “very real threat to the safety of the witnesses, investigating officers, and victims in this case should the Defendants be allowed to have carte blanche access to do whatever they wish with the discovery materials from this case.”

 

Judge Eugenia Eyherabide granted the request in whole.

 

The San Diego Public Defender’s office confirmed that Leah Rose Madbak, 29, is currently an investigator in their office but declined to comment further, saying it was an “H.R. matter” before hanging up the phone.

 

Madbak’s alleged boyfriend, Jesse Merel Cannon, was among 11 alleged Antifa members charged in December 2021 after supporters of Donald Trump and random beach revelers were assaulted on Pacific Beach in early 2021. The case is the first time alleged Antifa members belonging to different cells have been hit with conspiracy charges in the U.S.

 

According to the declaration from the deputy district attorney, his office’s investigation found “gigabytes of data that the Antifa cells or ‘affinity groups,’ to which the defendants belong,” collected on their targets, which include victims, witnesses, police officers, elected officials and “even their own members who have fallen out of favor.”

 

The San Diego Public Defender’s office confirmed that Leah Rose Madbak, 29, is currently an investigator in their office but declined to comment further, saying it was an “H.R. matter” before hanging up the phone.

The evidence discovered through search warrants includes addresses, license plates and surveillance photos of targets and their families. Two days after the first batch of defendants were arraigned on Dec. 6, 2021, Antifa began trying to intimidate victims and witnesses, according to the district attorney’s office. “I know recently social media accounts associated with several of the defendants posted pictures of people they believed to be the victims in this case…in an apparent attempt to intimidate or dissuade them from testifying,” the prosecutor declared.

 

Hopkins states that in addition to the digital evidence that was seized, investigators also confiscated several firearms from the Antifa defendants. “Further, there is evidence that several of these defendants have access to other weapons which were not recovered.”

Hopkins wrote that one public official targeted by an Antifa defendant was the victim of violence outside his home, and there was another victim in this case who was intimidated in order to dissuade them from cooperating in the investigation.

 

Leah Madbak, the investigator in the San Diego Public Defender Office, is accused in the declaration of having “administrative privileges for several Antifa based social media accounts.” Hopkins alleges she and her boyfriend, defendant Cannon, “have posted police reports and intentionally disseminated potentially harmful information in an attempt to dox their targets.” Those Antifa social media accounts were listed as SDagainstFash, SDreportingcollective, SNAIL Cru and RABID.

The Washington Post wages war on Elon Musk as he takes over Twitter

The Washington Post has launched a full-scale war on Elon Musk as his takeover of Twitter has sparked a complete media meltdown.

 

On Wednesday, the paper whose slogan is "Democracy Dies in Darkness" published a pair of reports ratcheting up its attacks on the Tesla CEO, whose $44 billion offer to buy Twitter has been approved this week despite the heavy resistance he previously faced.

 

One report lamented how Democrats can do very little to combat Musk, a staunch advocate for free speech, writing how President Biden's "tech agenda gets a reality check" and how "Washington’s hands are largely tied as the world’s richest person acquires an influential social network, an impact of the regulatory void around social media companies."

 

Notably, as critics have pointed out, The Washington Post is owned by fellow billionaire Jeff Bezos.

 

"By taking the company private, Musk will be subject to even less scrutiny than powerful executives of other publicly traded companies, such as Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg," the Post wrote. "Lawmakers now find themselves stymied, after failing for years to implement guardrails on social media companies that might force greater accountability of Musk. The deal does not present obvious antitrust conflicts, exposing the limits of Congress’s recent focus on regulating the largest tech platforms."

 

The other report attempted to pin the "online attacks" aimed at one of Twitter's top executives on the incoming Twitter boss.

 

It was reported by Politico this week that Twitter's chief legal officer Vijaya Gadde cried during a virtual meeting with staff to discuss the Musk shakeup. "Breaking Points" podcast co-host Saagar Enjeti mocked the Twitter official, tweeting "Vijaya Gadde, the top censorship advocate at Twitter who famously gaslit the world on Joe Rogan’s podcast and censored the Hunter Biden laptop story, is very upset about the @elonmusk takeover."

 

Musk replied, "Suspending the Twitter account of a major news organization for publishing a truthful story was obviously incredibly inappropriate." This is referring to Twitter's censorship of the New York Post during the 2020 presidential election in response to its bombshell reporting on Hunter Biden.

 

Well, the Post recapped that exchange with the headline, "Elon Musk boosts criticism of Twitter executives, prompting online attacks."

 

"Twitter users quickly piled onto the criticism of Gadde, including calling on Musk to fire her and using racist language to describe her. Gadde was born in India and immigrated to the United States as a child. One user said she would 'go down in history as an appalling person,'" the Washington Post wrote.

 

The report also whitewashed Twitter's actions in suppressing the Hunter Biden story, writing "During the 2020 presidential election, Twitter temporarily blocked a New York Post story on Democratic nominee Joe Biden’s son Hunter that it said violated a policy against posting hacked materials. The company did not suspend the entire news organization but did prevent it from tweeting for a period of time." The material published by the New York Post was never proven to have been hacked despite claims from Biden supporters.

 

Saagar Enjeti blasted the Post's report, tweeting, "My criticism of her for a policy she publicly has defended is in no way responsible for what some rando account may say to her."

 

Enjeti, who himself is Indian-American, added, "This is a great example of how the media smears you. I make a substantive point, randos say something. Now myself and @elonmusk [are] somehow racist/responsible for them! All to cover up the fact that they substantively agree with censorship."

 

On Monday, the Post published an apocalyptic-sounding report titled "Twitter workers face a reality they’ve long feared: Elon Musk as owner," saying employees "reacted with shock and dismay" to the multibillion-dollar deal.

 

Even Musk himself has noticed the uptick in attacks from the Post.

 

"The Washington Post targets me relentlessly!" Musk exclaimed on Wednesday, adding "Their insults could be higher quality, but some are not bad. I gave them 3 stars on Yelp."

 

And without a hint of irony, the Washington Post published an op-ed that called for "regulation of social-media platforms to prevent rich people from controlling our channels of communication," which Musk reacted by tweeting, "Lmaooo."

JASON (advisory group)

 

JASON is an independent group of scientists which advises the United States government on matters of science and technology. The group was first created as a way to get a younger generation of scientists—that is, not the older Los Alamos and MIT Radiation Laboratory alumni—involved in advising the government. It was established in 1960 and has somewhere between 30 and 60 members.

 

Activities

For administrative purposes, JASON's activities are run through the MITRE Corporation, a non-profit corporation in McLean, Virginia, which contracts with the Defense Department.

 

JASON typically performs most of its work during an annual summer study. Its sponsors include the Department of Defense (frequently DARPA and the United States Navy), the Department of Energy, and the U.S. Intelligence Community. Most of the resulting JASON reports are classified.

 

The name "JASON" is sometimes explained as an acronym, standing either for "July August September October November", the months in which the group would typically meet; or, tongue in cheek, for "Junior Achiever, Somewhat Older Now". However, neither explanation is correct; in fact, the name is not an acronym at all. It is a reference to Jason, a character from Greek mythology. The wife of one of the founders (Mildred Goldberger) thought the name given by the defense department, Project Sunrise, was unimaginative and suggested the group be named for a hero and his search.

 

JASON studies have included a now-mothballed system for communicating with submarines using extremely long radio waves (Project Seafarer, Project Sanguine), an astronomical technique for overcoming the atmosphere's distortion (adaptive optics), the many problems of missile defense, technologies for verifying compliance with treaties banning nuclear tests, a 1982 report predicting CO2-driven global warming, and a system of computer-linked sensors developed during the Vietnam War which became the precursor to the modern electronic battlefield.

 

Membership

JASON members all have security clearances, and they include physicists, biologists, chemists, oceanographers, mathematicians, and computer scientists.[1] They are selected for their scientific brilliance, and, over the years, have included eleven Nobel Prize laureates and several dozen members of the United States National Academy of Sciences.[2]

Recent history

In 2002, DARPA decided to cut its ties with JASON. DARPA had not only been one of JASON's primary sponsors, it was also the channel through which JASON received funding from other sponsors. DARPA's decision came after JASON's refusal to allow DARPA to select three new JASON members. Since JASON's inception, new members have always been selected by its existing members. After much negotiation and letter-writing—including a letter by Congressman Rush Holt of New Jersey[3]—funding was subsequently secured from an office higher in the defense hierarchy, the office of the Director, Defense Research & Engineering, name changed to Assistant Secretary of Defense (Research & Engineering) (ASD (R&E)) in 2011.[4]

Special counsel John Durham has an active and ongoing criminal probe into a tech executive who worked with a Hillary Clinton 2016 campaign lawyer to share claims of a cyber back channel between Donald Trump and Russia, prosecutors said in court Wednesday.

 

Prosecutors said the Durham team is still "looking closely" into whether Rodney Joffe, a tech executive and leading cybersecurity expert, defrauded the US government by misusing internet data from government contracts to search for derogatory information about Trump and Russia.

 

"We have not, to this point, charged a crime … but we are not able to say that a crime was not committed," prosecutor Andrew DeFilippis told a judge Wednesday, adding that the statute of limitations for Joffe's potential conduct has not expired and the probe is still underway.

 

These comments at a hearing about the upcoming trial of Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann were the first time Durham's team publicly detailed their investigation into Joffe. It means prosecutors are considering new defendants and additional charges as part of their sprawling investigation into the origins of the Trump-Russia probe, now in its fourth year.

 

Joffe worked on the Trump-Russia material with Sussmann, the Clinton campaign lawyer who was charged in September with lying to the FBI during a 2016 meeting where he passed along the data. Prosecutors claim Sussmann falsely told the FBI he shared the data as a concerned citizen, but he was really there on behalf of his clients: the Clinton campaign and Joffe.

 

The trial against Sussmann is scheduled to take place next month in DC federal court. He pleaded not guilty and says he never had any reason to doubt the data that came from Joffe and his researchers. The FBI looked into Sussmann's tip about a potential server back channel between Trump and the Moscow-based Alfa Bank but did not find any improper cyber links.

 

Joffe's lawyers blast Durham

Responding to Wednesday's hearing, a spokesperson for Joffe said the latest comments from prosecutors were "baseless and reckless" and accused Durham of pushing an "unfounded political narrative through false innuendo" to connect Joffe to a supposed anti-Trump plot.

 

"Mr. Joffe did not defraud or mislead any branch of the US Government," the spokesperson said in a statement. "Furthermore, the data at issue did not belong to the Government and did not contain private or personal information about any individual, nor was it manipulated in any way."

 

Lawyers for Sussmann say Joffe is a key part of their defense and will offer testimony that helps exonerate Sussmann. Sean Berkowitz, a Sussmann attorney, accused the prosecutors of making a "tactical decision" by holding the criminal probe over Joffe's head as a way of blocking him from testifying at trial. Because of the potential criminal exposure, Joffe intends to plead the Fifth, according to his lawyers.

 

"They've been looking at this forever," Berkowitz said. "They ought to be able to make a (charging) decision."

 

Berkowitz has asked federal Judge Christopher Cooper to dismiss the case if prosecutors don't give Joffe immunity to testify. Cooper said Wednesday that he'll try to issue a ruling soon.

 

Lawyers representing Joffe previously told CNN that Durham is pushing a cherry-picked narrative to make it look like Joffe fudged the data to harm Trump and help Clinton get elected. Instead, they said it "was his patriotic duty to share" the data with the FBI. He and Sussmann maintain that they funneled the data to the US government out of national security concerns.

It has been known for a while that Sussmann shared the data from Joffe and his researchers with the FBI and later with the CIA after Trump was inaugurated in January 2017. Prosecutors said Wednesday for the first time that the material had been later shared with Congress as well.

 

Prosecutors have previously said that Joffe's associates at Georgia Tech had access to the internet data ahead of a pending contract with DARPA, a Pentagon research agency. The contract was intended to hunt for cyber intrusions by hostile countries. Durham has said Joffe and his associates "exploited" their access to domain name system information to find dirt on Trump.

 

Some of the internet data also pertained to Russian-made Yota phones that were allegedly pinpointed near the Trump campaign headquarters and the White House offices. Past Durham filings about the Yota phones stirred a frenzy in right-wing media about supposed spying on Trump, which led to a rebuke from the judge and a partial walk-back from prosecutors.

 

A spokesman for Joffe previously said he is "an apolitical internet security expert with decades of service to the U.S. Government" and that his dealings with the data were perfectly legal. In court filings, Joffe's lawyers said he has received harassing and threatening messages in the wake of the Sussmann indictment, in which he was repeatedly referred to as "Tech Executive 1."

President Joe Biden's choice to lead the Department of Homeland Security's new Disinformation Governance Board has addressed a previous statement she made about the Hunter Biden laptop controversy.

 

Nina Jankowicz, who was a disinformation fellow at the Wilson Center, had cast doubt on The New York Post's reporting about the laptop believed to have belonged to President Biden's son.

 

Conservative news outlets including The Washington Examiner pointed to Jankowicz's comments about the laptop story and suggested she had spread disinformation.

 

Jankowicz tweeted during the presidential debate between Biden and former President Donald Trump that took place on October 22, 2020 and referenced the laptop.

 

"Back on the 'laptop from hell,' apparently—Biden notes 50 former natsec officials and 5 former CIA heads that believe the laptop is a Russian influence op," Jankowicz said.

 

"Trump says 'Russia, Russia, Russia,'" she said.

 

On Wednesday, Jankowicz retweeted that 2020 tweet, apparently in response to criticism, and said: "For those who believe this tweet is a key to all my views, it is simply a direct quote from both candidates during the final presidential debate. If you look at my timeline, you will see I was livetweeting that evening."

 

Biden had been referring to a Politico article about a letter signed by dozens of intelligence officials who said the Hunter Biden story appeared to be a Russian disinformation operation.

 

Jankowicz also shared a link to ballotpedia.org about the debate. That page contained a link to a transcript and a YouTube video of the debate.

 

Jankowicz had spoken to the Associated Press for an article published on October 15, 2020 and reportedly said there were questions about whether the laptop belonged to Hunter Biden.

 

"We should view it as a Trump campaign product," Jankowicz said at the time, pointing to the involvement of former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani and Trump associate Steve Bannon.

 

On October 22, 2020, Jankowicz shared an article on Twitter that she described as "casting yet more doubt on the provenance of the NY Post's Hunter Biden story" and said in another tweet that day: "The emails don't need to be altered to be part of an influence campaign. Voters deserve that context, not a [fairy] tale about a laptop repair shop."

 

On March 16, 2021, Jankowicz shared a report from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) and wrote in a Twitter thread the intelligence community "has a high degree of confidence that the Kremlin used proxies to push influence narratives, including misleading or unsubstantiated claims about President Biden."

 

However, that report did not specifically reference the laptop.

 

Newsweek has asked the White House for comment.

 

There was significant controversy about the laptop story during the 2020 presidential election and questions about the authenticity of emails reportedly found on the computer.

 

Some Republicans had suggested the laptop pointed to evidence of wrongdoing by Hunter Biden in his foreign business dealings that may also have implicated Joe Biden, while some Democrats dismissed it as a possible disinformation operation by Russia.

 

Twitter and Facebook temporarily limited sharing of stories about the laptop in late 2020 amid concerns that the emails were the product of hacking.

 

The laptop was one of three dropped off at a Delaware repair shop run by John Paul Mac Isaac in 2019 but never picked up from the store. Mac Isaac, reportedly a Trump supporter, looked at the contents of the laptop and believed some of it to be scandalous.

 

He contacted the authorities but also provided a hard drive containing the laptop's contents to Robert Costello, a lawyer for Rudy Giuliani, who shared it with The New York Post as well other Trump supporters, including Steve Bannon.

 

The New York Times and The Washington Post were later able to verify some of the emails but not all of them, while no evidence has emerged that the laptop was part of a Russian operation and controversy has continued over the matter.

While public members of Scientology can live in their homes, members of “Orgs” work as indentured labour both on sea and on land, the lawsuit alleges. They accumulate large debts from their time in the Orgs, which is then held over them if they ever leave.

 

Gawain Baxter was raised a Scientologist and in 1982, at only a few weeks old, his family moved from Australia to Scientology’s Flag Base in Clearwater Florida. He became a Cadet Org member at six while living in a dormitory with 100 other children.

 

By the age of 10 he saw his parents for only three hours a week and received very little education while labouring five to 10 hours unpaid a day including food preparation, landscaping and garbage removal, he alleges.

 

He says he was regularly verbally and physically abused by adults connected to Scientology and subject as a teenager to explicit questions about his sexual experiences by adult Sea Org leaders.

 

While living on the Freewinds – which never docks in US ports or territorial waters – he had his passport confiscated and worked 16 to 24 hours a day in unsafe working conditions, he alleges. That included repainting pipes, cleaning the ship decks and cleaning fuel tanks without safety equipment. He claims after working with blue asbestos and concrete dust he later coughed up blood.

“To this day, there are completely defenceless minors being mistreated by Scientology leadership. Just as I was, they are isolated from family and have no way to protect themselves,” Baxter said in a statement. “Scientology must be held accountable for the human rights abuses and trauma it has inflicted without a shred of remorse.”

 

Baxter and co-plaintiff Laura Baxter, who married, were later able to leave Freewinds after they came up with a plan to get pregnant to escape. They were told to terminate the pregnancy but refused and were later let off the boat after weeks of punishment and isolation, the lawsuit alleges.

 

In 2004 Laura Baxter alleges she was punished and confined to a hot engine room on the ship for three days, only allowed to leave for short periods at a time, after being accused of “monopolising” the attention of a celebrity during their birthday celebrations. Tom Cruise had a party for his 42nd birthday on Freewinds in 2004.

 

The other plaintiff, Valeska Paris, who now lives in Australia, had parents who were Sea Org members and was brought up as a Scientologist. By six years old she was in the Cadet Org and over more than a decade was sexually assaulted on multiple occasions as a minor, she claims.

 

She alleged the physical and sexual abuse was commonplace in the Cadet Org, and she had witnessed an adult Sea Org member masturbate on a boy’s bed. She said she was reprimanded for reporting the behaviour.

 

Paris alleged a senior Sea Org member rubbed his erect penis against her genitals. She said she had to relive her sexual assaults with adult male interrogators and was punished for reporting them and forced, on one occasion, to do the laundry of her alleged abuser.

 

Paris said she was a personal assistant to Miscavige and worked 16-hour days as a 15-year-old and was “sleep-deprived, poorly fed and constantly verbally abused by adult supervisors”.

 

She said she became suicidal and eventually ended up doing forced labour at a Scientology site in Australia and had her passport confiscated. Scientology has been accused of running a “penal colony” at a western Sydney site.

The letter outlines how the Small Business Administration notified 38 Planned Parenthood affiliates in 2020 that they had wrongfully applied for 38 PPP loans worth more than $80 million, ruling that the affiliates were ineligible for the loans due to the size of Planned Parenthood's overall organization.

"Despite this determination, the SBA approved 17 new PPP loans to Planned Parenthood affiliates totaling nearly $40 million in 2021," the letter reads. "Moreover, under your leadership, SBA has forgiven at least 34 Planned Parenthood PP loans to date."

Rick Scott, Ron Johnson, James Lankford, Josh Hawley and Mitt Romney, demands the SBA hand over records relating to the agency's decisions, guidance, policies, communications and notes related to the loans and forgiveness of loans to Planned Parenthood affiliates.

 

The letter is not the first time Paul has challenged the SBA over its loans to Planned Parenthood affiliates, questioning Guzman over the same issue at a hearing last year.

 

"During today’s Small Business Committee hearing I questioned SBA Administrator Guzman on the Biden administration’s decision to allow small business loans to go to Planned Parenthoods and fund abortions across America, which is a reversal of the Trump administration’s determination that these loans were illegal," Paul said at the time. Republicans Jump To 10-Point Lead In Generic Ballot Test, New FDRLST/Susquehanna Poll ShowsBy: Sean Davis

Congressional Republicans now have a 10-point lead in the generic ballot test ahead of November’s mid-term elections, according to a new poll from The Federalist and Susquehanna Polling & Research.

The new poll found that 49 percent of likely voters would vote for Republicans if the elections were held today, versus just 39 percent who said they would pull the lever for the Democrat candidate. In a previous poll released by The Federalist in February, Republicans had a 47-41 lead in the generic ballot test. Additionally, the new poll found widespread support for anti-groomer laws and Elon Musk’s Twitter takeover bid and widespread opposition to attempts to force female athletes to compete against men who claim to be women.

The poll found that President Joe Biden’s approval rating has fallen to just 39 percent, with 54 percent of likely voters saying they disapproved of Biden’s job performance thus far, for a net disapproval rating of 15 percent. In The Federalist’s February poll, 42 percent of voters approved of Biden’s job performance while 52 percent disapproved.

Biden’s numbers didn’t get much better when voters were asked to rate his performance on specific issues. According to the poll, 52 percent disapproved of Biden’s handling of the illegal immigration crisis on the U.S.-Mexico border, 56 percent disapproved of his handling of record-high gas prices, 61 percent disapproved of Biden’s handling of inflation, and 54 percent disapproved of his handling of crime throughout the country.

 

When asked about their opinion of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.,just 31 percent of voters said they had a favorable opinion of her. Vice President Kamala Harris 38 percent saying they had a favorable opinion of her compared to53 percentwho said their opinion of Harris was unfavorable.

 

Disapproval of Biden and his policy agenda cuts across party lines. Fifty-nine 59 percent of independents disapprove of the job Biden has done as president, and 63 percent of independents disapprove of how he has handled inflation. Even among self-described progressive liberals, 56 percent disapprove of Biden’s handling of inflation.

 

Voters also seem to be deeply pessimistic about the state of the economy, the poll found. A whopping75 percent of respondents said they expected the U.S. economy to be in a recessionwithin the next six to 12 months. Sixty-six percent of those surveyed also said they believed the economy had gotten worse over the last six months. New gross domestic product data issued by the Biden administration on Thursday morning indicated that the U.S. economy shrank by 1.4 percent during the first three months of 2022, supporting the views of those voters who believe the economy is getting worse.

 

The poll, which surveyed 800 likely voters nationwide from April 19 through April 27, also asked respondents a series of questions about policy issues recently featured in the news. When asked if they supported anti-grooming laws, such as one recently passed in Florida, that prohibited government school employees from exposing elementary school children to sexual topics without the consent of their parents,70 percent of respondents said they supported such laws. Support for anti-grooming laws transcended both party and ideology, according to the poll results. Fifty-nine percent of Democrats and 69 percent of self-described progressive liberals said they supported anti-grooming laws that protect elementary school children from being forcibly exposed to sexual topics by school employees without parental consent.

 

On the issue of transgender sports,69 percentof respondents said it was unfair to force female athletes to compete against male athletes who identify as transgender and claim to be women.

When asked if they supported entrepreneur Elon Musk’s bid to purchase Twitter and eliminate political censorship from the social media platform, voters said they supported Musk’s free-speech takeover of Twitter by a more than 2-to-1 margin, with 59 percent saying they supported his bid compared to just 28 percent who opposed it.

Voters also expressed widespread distrust of and dissatisfaction with the corporate news media.Seventy-three percent said they believe the corporate news media misrepresents the factsin order to push a political agenda on their audience. Only 17 percent said they trusted the corporate news media to tell the truth.

Biden has announced 95 federal judicial nominees so far in his presidency. The five names announced this week continue to fulfill an early promise to ensure that U.S. courts “reflect the diversity that is one of our greatest assets as a country — both in terms of personal and professional backgrounds.”

 

Reyes is currently a partner at Williams & Connolly a private law firm based in Washington, D.C., where she focuses on cross-border litigation and international arbitration.

Back in 2012, he gave his support to internet spy bill CISPA by proclaiming: “Stand for America! Support this bill!” Naturally, this clown would also serve as Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee.

 

Rogers is notorious for being one of the staunchest critics of Glenn Greenwald. For example, earlier this year he made up all sort of lies about Greenwald in an attempt to smear the journalist. In response, Greenwald had the following to say about Rogers back in February:

 

“First is that he’s not only lying, and he is lying, but he not only is lying but he knows that he’s lying. This what is Mike Rogers is notorious for in Washington is literally making things up and smearing political opponents and journalists he doesn’t like.

 

I defy Mike Rogers, if he wants to make that accusation, to come forward and present actual evidence that any journalist has stolen, has sold documents or stolen material or engaged in any kind of criminality. He has no evidence, he’s just making things up.”

 

You’d think a guy like Rogers who aggressively lobs untrue accusations against a journalist trying to inform the American public about government criminality would have a squeaky clean background himself. After all, he was a former FBI agent. You’d think that, but you’d be wrong.

 

Incredibly, Dick Morris points out that until recently Mike Rogers’ wife was the president and the CEO of the company that was contracted by the State Department to provide intelligence-based and physical security services. While this sort of crony capitalism is seen as “business as usual” in the cesspool that is D.C., the really crazy part of this story is that as Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Rogers is charged with investigating the adequacy of security at the Benghazi compound prior to the September 11, 2012 terrorist attack.

 

You can’t find a bigger conflict of interest than that…

The father of the 14-year-old Wisconsin boy accused of murdering 10-year-old Lily Peters is a convicted pedophile, according to a new report.

The murder suspect’s dad had served three years in prison for being in possession of child pornography depicting young girls, the Daily Mail reported Thursday.

In a 2020 letter sent from behind bars to a judge begging him to be allowed to have unsupervised visits with his son, the dad described the future accused killer as “the best of me,” the outlet said, citing court documents.

Prosecutors said in court Wednesday that the man’s son, who has not been named by the authorities despite being charged as an adult, punched Lily Peters in the stomach, strangled her to death, struck her with a stick and then sexually assaulted her.

The teen now faces charges of first-degree intentional homicide, first-degree sexual assault and first-degree sexual assault of a child.

On Wednesday, a judge set the 14-year-old’s bond at $1 million, after the Chippewa Falls District Attorney Office detailed the shocking crime in court.

DA Wade Newell claimed that the teen planned to “rape and kill the victim from the get-go when he left the house with the victim to go down the trail.”

Online court records that were reviewed by The Post Thursday showed that the boy’s 37-year-old father, currently living in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, was convicted in July 2017 of 10 counts of possession of child pornography and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to filings in the case, which were obtained by the Daily Mail, police arrested the man after 10 vile images depicting young girls in compromised positions were discovered on his phone.

The man entered state prison in May 2018 and was released in April of last year to begin his supervised probation.

His lawyers, according to the documents, had opposed having him on probation because he could not have unsupervised visits with him son, whom he described in a letter to a judge as “the best of me.”

The convicted pedophile’s entry on Wisconsin’s sex offender website indicates that his registration ends in April 2039.

Peters — who knew her accused killer — had been in Chippewa Falls visiting her aunt over the weekend when she was reported missing Sunday by her father after she failed to return home.

The following morning, her body was found in a wooded area near a walking trail just blocks from her aunt’s house.

On Tuesday evening, Chippewa Falls Police Chief Matthew Kelm said a juvenile had been arrested in connection with the case but declined to provide further details.

Her remains were taken to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office in Minnesota, where additional forensic testing was underway.

The boy, identified only by his initials, appeared in adult court in Chippewa County by video from a juvenile detention center Wednesday. Judge Benjamin Lane agreed to DA Newell’s request for $1 million cash bond.

Lane said the high bond was necessary to protect the community given the teen’s “statements regarding his intentions and his statements regarding that when he did get off the trail, he punched the victim in the stomach, knocked her to the ground, essentially strangled her, hit her with a stick, before strangling her to the point of death — before he then sexually assaulted her,” Newell told the judge at the bond hearing.

The defense had asked for $100,000 cash bond, arguing that the boy is a not a flight risk because he is too young to drive.

Those aren't real Nazis… I know people like Lara Logan says they are, and she is a WONDERFUL journalist. But she is wrong on this one. Those are not "Nazis" in Ukraine. At least, not the kind of Nazis you or I would imagine. Those are Jews and sick-fucks.

How do I know? Because after I was JQ'd, I went through a hard anger-phase (coupled with another matter) and actually became what most of you would call a, "Nazi"…

What did that mean to me? Nothing nefarious, AT ALL.

I began reading books like, "Mein Kampf", "Nazi Primer", "Culture Of Critique", "Might Is Right", and the "Bible". But, not like some dumb, recruit being propagandized. I went into it very rationally, and with my own moral-compass already firmly guiding me. I became a "Nazi", pretty much for the same reasons I became a Master Mason. Curiosity, mostly. And I think some part of me wanted to run with a pack of men like me. Good men. Tough men. Brave men. These do exist in the military certainly, but are among a sea of, Yes-men. The military was not an option for me (I won't go into why). I was always an athlete, and by the grace of some God, always played on winning/championship teams. I suppose I wanted to win with the winners again a little, perhaps… Anyway, contrary to dumb-faggot beliefs, myself and most others that ran in those circles were not there because they "hated niggers", or because they wanted to "gas jews". That's all bullshit. If you hear someone saying some shit like that in a non-joking manner, and actually being serious, and not just verbally blowing off steam… that motherfucker is a fed.

I ran around with a few leaders of the Alt-Right and Identity Europa, among other groups (Even started a few).. You would be hard-pressed to find ANYONE that is a "supremacist". They just don't exist. That is 100% a Jewish thing, only. Only about 10-20% of the dudes would use derogatory language toward other races, when referring to them. (I did occasionally, too.) But it was meaningless. No one wanted to hurt anyone, when it really came down to it. They felt hurt by what they saw happening to their cities, towns and communities. They were seeking like-minded individuals, as was I, to begin discussing what to do about it. Any public discussion about the realities we were facing, whether online, on social-media, or pretty much anywhere, was being censored. These White men, knew propaganda was being aimed at demonizing them. They had very rational concerns, most of them. And were seeking lawful solutions to the problems they were experiencing. I respected that. These were NOT those those LARPing "Nazis" you see on TV, on "Vice", or dressing up in Jewish-bought robes. These were bright men… Good men. Tough men. Brave men. (Most anyway). Part of the allure of the group was their borderline autistic, "effort posts", that I found to be incredibly well researched and always backed by citation. "Shills/agents", really did stand out like a sore-thumb. At least to me. I outed more than a few, in my day. They just scurry away, and slowly stop coming around. No one is going to hurt them, of course. But, I think they realize it's a wasted effort. Some feds even become persuaded to their way of thinking. You really wouldn't believe how prevalent these beliefs are. And how many different walks of life these men come from. And what are they? I should explain that…

Basically, be a good person. Don't be a degenerate, a faggot, or a "useless eater" (for lack of a better term). No one wanted to kill the handicapped or any of that shit. But able bodied and brained men were expected to act accordingly. No hard-core criminals. No pedophiles/child-molesters. (They will kill you, and I will help them do it). Some dudes were 'extreme' and would not condone things like smoking weed. Most others, could care less about that shit. No thieves. No traitors. Yada, yada, yada, just be a good person, or at least be trying your ass off to be one. You know what that means, I'll spare you the details. But it is NOTHING like you have been told. I immediately realized why Jews spend literally BILLIONS of dollars trying to censor men like this. These dudes have stories with the facts to back them, that would make your high-school history books blush. I am not joking. A lot of what you/we were taught was a lie.

I heard about "Nazis" in Ukraine, in the AZOV Battalion, years ago. Somewhere between 2014-2017. I immediately recognized that these men were NOTHING like the "white nationalist" crowd I was rubbing elbows with. For example, NO ONE I knew would ever dream of crucifying and burning alive, ANYONE, let alone another white man. "No moar bro wars", is a phrase that originated with these boys. (And girls… Fucking BASED girls). Anyway, did a little digging, and yeah… Those are kikes, LARPing as "Nazis". They literally have done this for CENTURIES. Everyone was an "Amalakite", before everyone was a "Nazis", following WW2. They push a Hegalian-Dialectic. And play both sides of the fence, so no matter which way you chose, they win. (In logic, the technique to overcome this problem, is to "split the horns". In other words, come up with a third option).

 

Bear in mind, that Hitler was a magnanimous figure, very much like Trump, to the German people. Only 8% of Germans had joined the NSDAP (The "Nazis"), and then THIS book became a national-bestseller in the United States: "Germany Must Perish", written by NY Jew, Theodore Kaufman. It called for the extermination and sterilization of over 17 million German men, women and children. (Who are the "Nazis", again?) After Germans got wind of this, word spread, and soon after, over 85% of Germans joined the NSDAP. What would you have done?

 

You see what the media did to Trump? You see what they are doing to Russia?

 

Think it was any different in WW2? It was, slightly… because there was internet to call it out, or warn anyone.
