That report said the IG has

One mission of the IG was to see who might have leaked information from the FBI during the Clinton email probe. But it said that investigation had to continue, in part because so many FBI officials are talking to the press.

The Department of Justice inspector general identified a number of instances where FBI employees regularly spoke with members of the media and received a number of free perks from journalists including meals and tickets to various events.

 

On page XII in the report, the IG says the department

The IG expressed

In the following paragraph, the IG implies that such benefits could have encouraged various agents to leak information to the press

A newly released memorandum from the retiring Representative Trey Gowdy (R-SC) on today's highly anticipated Inspector General Report from the Office of the Inspector General via Michael Horowitz suggests that both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Department of Justice dropped the ball in charging Hillary Clinton with violations of the Espionage Act.

FBI orders bias training for employees after latest embarrassing emails

 

The FBI will make its employees undergo bias training, Director Christopher Wray promised Thursday, after a devastating report found the bureau made bad decisions, has a culture of leaking sensitive information, and may have skewed campaign-season decisions because of bias.

 

New text messages released by the Justice Department inspector general showing conversations between Deputy Assistant Director Peter Strzok and paramour FBI lawyer Lisa Page suggest a deep anti-Trump sentiment.

US Resumes Financial Aid To White Helmets

 

On June 14, US President Donald Trump authorized the United States Agency for International Development and the U.S. Department of State to allocate approximately $6.6 million to fund the Syrian Civil Defense, that is known as the β€œWhite Helmets,” and the UN’s Impartial and Independent Mechanism (IIIM)

 

In an official press release, the U.S. Department of State stressed the US support for the controversial Syrian organization and described its acts as β€œheroic.”

 

β€œThe United States Government strongly supports the White Helmets who have saved more than 100,000 lives since the conflict began, including victims of Assad’s chemical weapons attacks. These heroic first responders have one of the most dangerous jobs in the world and continue to be deliberately targeted by the Syrian regime and Russian airstrikes,” the U.S. Department of State said in its press release.

 

The U.S. Department of State suspended its financial support for the White Helmets on May 3. Back then, the US TV channel CBS reported that the Department of State was reviewing its support for the Syrian organization.

 

The U.S is not the only supporter of the White Helmets, radical groups such as Hay’at Tahrir al-Sahm (HTS), which is labeled by the U.S. as a terrorist organization, also back the organization to facilitate its work. Former leader of HTS Abu Jaber Shaykh and radical Saudi cleric Abdullah al-Muhaysini even stressed their support for the White Helmets in a public video, which was released last year.

 

The Syrian organization was also accused by Russia and the Damascus government of covering up militants’ crimes and of staging fake chemical attacks to provoke a U.S. military action against the Syrian Arab Army (SAA). The most notable case was the alleged chemical attack in the district of Duma earlier this year.

 

Most of the US funds will likely find its way to the White Helmets centers in areas controlled by the former branch of al-Qaeda in Syria HTS and other al-Qaeda-affiliated groups. This poses a serious threat, especially that the U.S has no real mechanism to track these founds once they are delivered to the organization.

Militants Assassinate Another Member Of Reconciliation Committee In Southern Syria

 

On June 14, unknown gunmen shot and killed Doctor Musa Qanbas, a member of the reconciliation committee in southern Syria, in front of his clinic in the town of al-Harra in the northwestern Daraa countryside, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).

 

So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the assassination of Doc. Qanbas. However, Syrian pro-government activists believe that the newly formed Ahrar Tell al-Harrah Brigade may have been behind the crime. The group vowed to work against the Syrian Arab Army and Russia when it was first formed on May 4.

 

This is not the first attack on the members of the reconciliation committee in southern Syria. On June 2, three members of the committee named β€œTufiq al-Ghunim”, β€œMohamad al-Ghunim” and β€œMufaq al-Bargas” were assassinated in the northeastern Daraa countryside.

 

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), at least twelve members of the committee were assassinated by unknown gunmen during the last two months.

 

These public figures are being targeted for working with the Damascus government to reach a peaceful solution in the southern governorates of Daraa and al-Quneitra. Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad confirmed that such efforts are taking place during an interview on June 13 and said that Israel and the U.S. are working against them.

Although I have not yet read the report, the release of this report has something running through my head.

 

Recently, we were told of the existence of multiple reports. Furthermore, a previous tweet by POTUS buttressed the existence of multiple versions of this portion of the report. I believe he "wished" that RR was not changing and weakening the report.

 

Today, it appears that a report was released, somewhat free of the usual, severe redactions that we generally receive. Why is this different than usual? Why would the report be released in a manner that appears more transparent than usual?

 

At first appearance, this report appears complete. Why would the left leaning public not scream, WITH US, for the full release of the reports in the future. This report was not very damning for their heroes, so they might be an unknowing ally in our future demands of a FULL RELEASE of the OIG reports. They don't have a reason to oppose a future report that is similar to this report.

 

However, this would require one of our []s to be a very good actor. It is clear that a full report will conflict RR out of his job, so why would he act in a manner that will leave him unemployed. Russian firm indicted by Mueller's team blasts 'unlawfully appointed' special counsel

 

Attorneys for one of the Russian firms charged with meddling in the 2016 U.S. presidential race lashed out at special counsel Robert Mueller on Thursday in response to his request for a protective order guarding the government’s evidence.

A top Barack Obama Department of Justice official integrally involved in the Hillary Clinton email investigation tried to get his son hired on the Hillary Clinton campaign and also tipped off John Podesta with insider details on the case, according to Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report released Thursday.

 

Assistant attorney general Peter Kadzik should have recused himself from the case due to his duplicity, according to the IG report.

Executive summary of the OIG report is disappointing, but I'm hoping

it's a trap.

For instance, Lynch denies discussing investigation with Will Bill on the tarmac. Q tells us we have everything and that there is a recording of the meeting.

Perhaps this investigation was a set up. If the recording exists LL will have lied to the FBI. This is but one example.

Toscas provided his extensive notes of the meeting to the OIG. Lengthy because he wanted to report to AAG Carlin after Carlin returned from a trip.

Toscas testified from his notes that:

"Comey told Lynch that he planned

to acknowledge at a House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI)

roundtable that the FBI had received the referral from the IC IG and that it was

being properly staffed and receiving all necessary resources. Comey stated that he

planned to say that the FBI does not comment on its investigations per

longstanding policy, but that all of its investigations are done professionally and

timely. Toscas said that Comey assured Lynch that he would not say that they had

opened an investigation, but that this would be implicit in what he said, and there

would be news reports afterwards saying that there was an investigation.

He believed it was Lynch's preference to call it a "matter" but not an "instruction" to Comey.

Toscas: Axelrod wanted language to be used consistent with a letter sent the previous week from the FBI General Counsel to State Dept. where FBI was careful not to confirm there was an investigation. He and Comey debated how to treat it like any other case.

Comey again used the word "matter" when questioned if FBI had an investigation open.

Comey said FBI had received the referral involving Clinton's private email account and possible exposure of classified info, but he could not talk about FBI's ongoing work. He deflected the question saying FBI had resources + personnel assigned to the "matter" and FBI's work would be professional, prompt, independent.

News reports then said Comey had acknowledged existence of an investigation on Clinton's use of a private email server. Rybicki already quoted Comey's exact //ass-covering// words to DoJ.
