If your combined ZB, N.A. account balances exceed $250,000, there are several quick and easy ways to increase or maximize your insurance coverage.

Deposits maintained in different categories of legal ownership and meeting the FDIC's requirements are separately insured. So you can have more than $250,000 insurance coverage at ZB, N.A. through a combination of different categories of ownership. The most common categories of ownership are single accounts, joint accounts, and revocable trust accounts.

US-funded biological research laboratories continue to operate in Ukraine in spite of official statements indicating that they had been deactivated, the Russian Ministry Defense said on Friday.

According to the commander of Russia’s Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Defense Forces, Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, Moscow has obtained documents that suggest Kiev has continued to coordinate with the Pentagon in the military biological field, including the transfer of pathogenic biomaterials. Kirillov pointed to an official appeal from Pentagon contractor ch2m-hill to Ukrainian companies participating in a “program to counter particularly dangerous pathogens in Ukraine.”

“The document reports on the Defense Threat Reduction Agency’s (DTRA) biological program in Ukraine and outlines future tasks, such as consolidating collections of dangerous pathogens and deploying systems for managing bio risks and monitoring the epidemiological situation”, accoring to Russia Today.

Kirillov claimed that, in January 2023, the government of Ukraine published new requirements for “accounting, storage, transportation and destruction” of pathogens, which included instructions for the international transportation by air of substances with the highest hazard class. He noted that the transport document templates provided in the guidelines only featured examples of US labs as recipients or senders of hazardous biomaterials.

Kirillov called the work of US biolabs on dangerous pathogens in a war zone “the height of recklessness” and criticized US pharmaceutical industry’s attempts to secure “unlimited profits” by conducting “directed evolution” research on the Covid-19 virus, as Project Veritas exposed.

Kirillov claimed the main goal of US bio programs across the world was to “establish global biological control” by “degrading the national health systems of other countries and subverting the provisions of the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention (BTWC) with its own rules, which were developed to serve the interests of Washington and its allies”, Russia Today wrote.

Online tests suggest IQ scores in US dropped for the first time in nearly a century

A group of psychologists, two from Northwestern University and the third from the University of Oregon, has found via online testing that IQ scores in the U.S. may be dropping for the first time in nearly a century. In their paper published in the journal Intelligence, Elizabeth Dworak, William Revelle and David Condon describe analyzing the results of online IQ tests taken by volunteers over the years 2006 to 2018.

The Flynn effect, named after James R. Flynn, is a term first coined by Richard Herrnstein and Charles Murray in 1994, in their book "The Bell Curve." In short, the effect suggests that the human race grows smarter with each successive generation—the average intelligence quotient (IQ) increases. Prior research has bolstered this theory, finding that people from successive generations have scored ever higher on IQ tests—increasing by 3 to 5 points over the years 1932 to 2000.

But more recently, it appears things have changed. Over the past several years, multiple studies have shown that IQ scores are dropping in many European countries. And now, that appears to be the case with the U.S. as well.

In this new effort, the researchers studied the results of online IQ tests taken by adults participating in the Synthetic Aperture Personality Assessment Project over a 12-year period. They found that IQ scores have dropped for all age groups, regardless of gender. They also found that the steepest declines were among young people. They also noted that while a few skills, such as spatial reasoning, were better than previous generations, other skills, such as problem solving, numerical series assessments and verbal reasoning, had all grown worse.

The researchers did not conduct any research to try to explain the drop, but suggest it might be linked to changes in the education system. They also did not address the controversial issue of the accuracy of IQ test scores in general as a means of measuring a person's intelligence.
