Ron DeSantis dealt a huge blow to former President Barack Obama’s ego with the release of his new book. Ron’s book knocked Barack out of first place in pre-presidential book sales selling more copies of his new memoir in the first week than those released by Barack Obama and Donald Trump before their bids for office.

According to BookScan, DeSantis sold 94,284 copies of The Courage to Be Free: Florida’s Blueprint for America’s Revival in the seven days after its publishing on February 28. Obama had the record with his 2006 book The Audacity of Hope: Thoughts on Reclaiming the American Dream which had 66,766 purchases in the first week of sales.

The third highest first-week sales of pre-presidential run books is from Ben Carson, whose book, A More Perfect Union: What We the People Can Do to Reclaim Our Constitutional Liberties sold 37,924 copies.

I was just thinking that most people have a hard time with justice and some are so attached to their idea of these criminals, take elon musk as an example, are their minds ready to watch elon be lawfully executed? We used to have a "black ops" group on facebook, kmfao, where we would gather and pick a target Trump hating group. We would scout out groups and see if they were easy to join and once in, we'd invite everybody in the group. We had around 800 or moar of us. Once we were all inside the group we would wait quietly and back at the command post, we had the date and time set for us to strike. When the clock hit, we would ambush the group and plaster them with memes and counter attacks to their posts. It was soooooooooooooo fucking funny.

WASHINGTON – Silicon Valley Bank, Santa Clara, California, was closed today by the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation, which appointed the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) as receiver. To protect insured depositors, the FDIC created the Deposit Insurance National Bank of Santa Clara (DINB). At the time of closing, the FDIC as receiver immediately transferred to the DINB all insured deposits of Silicon Valley Bank.

All insured depositors will have full access to their insured deposits no later than Monday morning, March 13, 2023. The FDIC will pay uninsured depositors an advance dividend within the next week. Uninsured depositors will receive a receivership certificate for the remaining amount of their uninsured funds. As the FDIC sells the assets of Silicon Valley Bank, future dividend payments may be made to uninsured depositors.

Silicon Valley Bank had 17 branches in California and Massachusetts. The main office and all branches of Silicon Valley Bank will reopen on Monday, March 13, 2023. The DINB will maintain Silicon Valley Bank’s normal business hours. Banking activities will resume no later than Monday, March 13, including on-line banking and other services. Silicon Valley Bank’s official checks will continue to clear. Under the Federal Deposit Insurance Act, the FDIC may create a DINB to ensure that customers have continued access to their insured funds.

As of December 31, 2022, Silicon Valley Bank had approximately $209.0 billion in total assets and about $175.4 billion in total deposits. At the time of closing, the amount of deposits in excess of the insurance limits was undetermined. The amount of uninsured deposits will be determined once the FDIC obtains additional information from the bank and customers.

Customers with accounts in excess of $250,000 should contact the FDIC toll-free at 1-866-799-0959.

The FDIC as receiver will retain all the assets from Silicon Valley Bank for later disposition. Loan customers should continue to make their payments as usual.

Silicon Valley Bank is the first FDIC-insured institution to fail this year. The last FDIC-insured institution to close was Almena State Bank, Almena, Kansas, on October 23, 2020.

In its latest filings, the DOJ reveals that one of the group chats it is currently using as evidence against Mackey contained aperson who is now working with the FBI as a federal informant. According to the government, the “Confidential Witness” (or CW) was a pro-Trump, “alt right” leader who pleaded guilty to the same conspiracy to deprive civil rights charges that Mackey faces, and is now collaborating with the government.

In its filings, the government declines to say what CW’s current role with the government is, except that he is “presently engaged in proactive investigations, working with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (“FBI”), and may engage in additional investigations in the future.” Based on that statement, the government is asking that CW’s identity be kept secret, and that Mackey’s defense team be barred from asking any questions about CW’s current work.

This is a much bolder request than it might seem to the legally uninitiated.The Sixth Amendment of the Bill of Rights guaranteesthe right of any criminal defendant to “be confronted with the witnesses against him.” Like most constitutional rights, this law is not absolute, but limitations to it have historically been very limited.

Courts havelong disallowed anonymous witnesses due to the Sixth Amendment, except in extreme circumstancesinvolving violent, organized criminal organizations with the capacity to retaliate against witnesses and their families. And even then, courts have restricted the right to testify anonymously. For instance, in 2014, the U.S. 10th Circuit said this, about the possible danger of retaliation from the ruthless Salvadoran street gang MS-13.

But now, in the Mackey case, the Biden DOJ asserts that its witness’s identity must be hidden, because if not, he might face, wait for it… harassment on the Internet!

Mackey has never been convicted or even accused of a single violent crime, or of threatening violence online. The agent was also contacted by a person purporting to be a journalist, who reached out to the agent via the agent’s personal email address and cellphone number, neither of which is public. The FBI took these developments very seriously, conducting a formal threat assessment (no credible threat of violence was identified during the monitoring period),and the agent continues to take certain precautionary measures designed to ensure her safety…

I agree, God imbued us with empathy in our souls, its the gift of intuition also, which is quite real. If people listened to their feelings of empathy and intuition the world will be a better place. But what we know is that “public school” was intent in turning that off, now education literally squashes the gift of discrimination, andwhat they say is love is really hate.

If parents love their children and they themselves did not buy the lies in education in the last 30-40 years (or even if you did) every parent would take their children out of public schools NOW (if they can), and move to a small town or the country, if possible and create a shared home schooling parent lead education.
