Report Dismissed: Investigator Peter Gallo Details the UN's Dark Secret

"The organization [United Nations] is quite happy to suppress them [sexual abuse reports] or to deny or try and manipulate the figures to downplay the scale of the problem," conveyed former UN investigator Peter Gallo.

"Of those 528 [sexual abuse] cases I mentioned earlier, 203 over the last five years have been for either rape or sexual assault." he denoted.

GOP-controlled legislatures in South Carolina and Nebraska failed on Thursday to pass anti-abortion legislation. The "Heartbeat Act" in Nebraska would have banned most abortions after six weeks with exceptions including rape, incest and the life of the mother. The measured stalled in the state legislature and a vote to overcome a filibuster of the bill failed by a vote of 32-15. Two senators abstained from voting. GOP state Sen. Merv Riepe called for the bill to be reconsidered and proposed an amendment to move the ban to 12 weeks instead of six weeks. The amendment did not receive a vote.

A video message posted on Twitter by former Fox News host Tucker Carlson after his departure has netted some 19 million views and 60 million impressions, highlighting Carlson’s influence and popularity. He posted the clip at 8 p.m. Eastern time on Wednesday, the same time as his former Fox News show, and did not address any speculation around his departure. He also did not explain why he left the company. For comparison, “Fox News Tonight” with temporary host Brian Kilmeade drew about 1.7 million viewers on Tuesday night. Disarray Consumes Fox News as Murdochs Attempt to Reassert Control with Carlson, Bongino Ousters

Fox News is trying to sideline former Tucker Carlson Tonight host Tucker Carlson through the 2024 election, multiple sources familiar with the matter told Breitbart News.

Carlson’s current contract runs through December 2024, and as of now three sources familiar with the matter told Breitbart News that executives at the network are trying to keep Carlson on contract and not release him until after the 2024 election.

The shocking decision to cancel Carlson’s top-rated weeknight program came just days after the network shut down its top-rated weekend program with host Dan Bongino. What follows here is an insider account from people actually in the know after Breitbart News spent the past several days interviewing key players in the personnel matters at Fox News, asking what really happened.

Two things are clear from speaking to people who actually know what’s happening on the inside: First, the official narrative from the network is untrue. Second, and perhaps more importantly, many of the leaks and speculation that have poured out in the past couple days since the bombshell news of Carlson’s show getting canceled was announced are also simply untrue.

Nobody would speak on the record, for a number of reasons. First off, Fox News and the broader Murdoch empire are known for their ruthlessness against anyone who speaks the truth about what is actually happening there. Network spokeswoman Irena Briganti is believed to use outlets also owned by the Murdochs like the New York Post and Wall Street Journal to plant pieces that reflect poorly on foes of News Corporation.

Secondly, both Carlson and Bongino are technically still under contract by the network. Bongino’s contract runs through the end of April and Carlson’s through the 2024 general election. Both are, sources say, trying to negotiate exit packages—and even after they formally have those agreements in place, there will be non-disparagement clauses that prevent them from ever speaking the truth about this.

In response to requests for comment on this story, Fox News spokespersons just reissued to Breitbart News the same public statements that the network issued when announcing Carlson’s and Bongino’s departures.

“FOX News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways,” the Fox News statement on Carlson reads. We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor.”

“We thank Dan for his contributions and wish him success in his future endeavors,” the Fox News statement on Bongino reads.

The brazen power play by the Murdoch family—at the helm of which is elderly patriarch Rupert Murdoch, but rising in power are his sons Lachlan and James Murdoch—is like a scene out of the hit HBO show Succession.

The Heritage Foundation supported the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.[22][23] According to a 2004 study in the journal International Security, the Heritage Foundation confused public debate by challenging widespread opposition to the Iraq War by international relations scholars and experts by contradicting them "with experts of apparently equal authority… this undermined the possibility that any criticisms [of the war] might be seen as authoritative or have much persuasive effect."[22] The organization defended the Bush administration's Guantanamo Bay practices.[22]

In 2005, The Washington Post criticized the Heritage Foundation for softening its criticism of Malaysia following a business relationship between Heritage's president and Malaysia's prime minister Mahathir Mohamad. The Heritage Foundation denied any conflict of interest, stating its views on Malaysia changed following the country's cooperation with the U.S. after the September 11 attacks in 2001,[24] and changes by Malaysia "moving in the right economic and political direction."[25][26] "

In 2021, after Trump lost re-election, the Heritage Foundation hired Chad Wolf, Ken Cuccinelli and Mark Morgan, all three of whom played a prominent role in the immigration policies of the Trump administration.[47]

It also hired former Vice President Mike Pence.[48] Shortly thereafter, Pence published an op-ed on a Heritage Foundation website which made false claims of fraud in the 2020 election, as well as numerous false claims about For the People Act, a Democratic bill to expand voting rights.[49][50][51]

In 1973, businessman Joseph Coors contributed $250,000 to establish The Heritage Foundation and continued to fund it through the Adolph Coors Foundation.[95][96] In 1973, it had trustees from Chase Manhattan Bank, Dow Chemical, General Motors,Pfizer, Sears and Mobil.[97]

Ex-Tucker Carlson Producer Suing Tucker Carlson Has Never Even Met Tucker Carlson

Lawyers for Abby Grossberg confirmed that the former Fox News producer never actually met Tucker Carlson in person while working on his show because he taped the show from his personal studios in Maine and Florida. Grossberg, who was the head of booking for the show from July 2022 until she was placed on administrative leave in March of this year. She alleges that Carlson encouraged a hostile workplace among his employees and says she was subjected to bullying, antisemitic comments and sexism by staff while working out of Fox’s Manhattan office. There is a report that Grossman was incompetent and on the verge of being fired before she filed her lawsuit.

Fox’s communications director, Irena Briganti, is said to have an opposition file on Carlson to keep him from criticizing Fox.

Tucker Carlson and his wife were looking to get their son a leg up in his college application to Georgetown University when they turned to a well-connected Washington friend who had an even better-connected father.

“I realize you don’t really know Buckley,” Susie Carlson wrote via email in 2014 to Hunter Biden, a Georgetown graduate and the son of the then-vice president. “Maybe you could meet or speak to him and he could send you a very brief resume with his interests and grades attached.”

Tucker Carlson offered that his son was a good squash player and an excellent fly fisherman. “He loves Washington for all the right reasons, I think,” Carlson added, “and really wants to go to school here.” When Biden agreed to write a letter of recommendation, Susie Carlson added a heap of praise: “Tucker and I have the greatest respect and admiration for you. Always!”

The Carlsons’ past entreaties to Biden may come as a surprise to many present-day viewers of “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” the highly rated prime-time Fox News show on which the host has repeatedly ridiculed Biden for seeking to profit off his family connections and at times for his history of personal troubles and drug use.

The interactions reveal the extent to which Carlson was willing to turn on a former associate as he thrives in a hyperpartisan media world in which conservatives have made Biden a prime target for attack during his father’s presidency. They also show how Carlson once sought to benefit from the elite political circles in Washington that he now regularly rails against as the “ruling class.”

“When your dad is president, you get superpowers,” Carlson said in October 2021 during a segment about Biden pursuing a new career as an artist. “Maybe Hunter Biden will invent a new vaccine next we will be required to take. Who knows? You never know. The sky is the limit when your dad is in power.”

Some emails between Tucker Carlson and Biden, saved on a device copied from a laptop that Biden purportedly left at a Delaware computer repair shop in 2019, have been previously reported. The Washington Post has verified many of those emails through a forensic analysis and corroborated additional messages, including the correspondence with Carlson’s wife, with a person familiar with the communications.

Tucker Carlson, during a 15-minute phone interview, said that he was once close with Biden, as he has stated on his show.

“Hunter Biden was my neighbor. Our wives were friends. I knew him well. I talked to him many times about addiction, something I know a lot about,” Carlson said. “And I’ve said that. I think that Hunter Biden is an addict and that’s why his life is falling apart, and I feel bad for him. I’ve said that many times, and I mean it.”

Texas Governor Greg Abbott, a Republican, made a show of sending busloads of asylum seekers to Manhattan’s Port Authority starting last spring after the migrants had crossed the US southern border into his state. Since then, 58,300 asylum seekers have arrived in NYC. It was reported that the 30,000 illegal migrants housed in hotels, shelters and other facilities around the city are costing taxpayers $5 million per day. A city official said that the total cost will be for $1.7 billion this year. An independent immigration watchdog group set the overall cost of illegal immigration at a much higher $10 billion per year. Another estimate showed that taxpayers are shelling out $150,000 per migrant per year.

Mayor Adams has yet to concede that Biden’s open border policy is a disaster. Adams said, “The issue is not the asylum seeker. The issue is the fact that the national government is not doing its job.” Instead, he is calling out for more money.

But Carlson refused to discuss the emails, pointing to past claims by former U.S. intelligence officials that the laptop’s emergence in the final weeks of the 2020 presidential campaign had all the hallmarks of Russian disinformation.

Carlson was speaking with apparent irony, as he has frequently mocked those disinformation claims as part of an effort by establishment figures and the tech industry to protect Joe Biden’s 2020 campaign. Social media companies that had been widely criticized for spreading disinformation in the 2016 campaign sought in 2020 to block the spread of early news stories about the laptop.

“I can’t confirm these emails. The emails that you’re referring to were described by our intel community as Russian disinformation,” he said, adding that he doesn’t have access to the account so could not verify the emails. “So why would I? And I read that in The Washington Post.”

“I would just remind you that there’s a war going on,” he added. “And loose lips sink ships.”

On his show earlier this month, when Carlson hosted the owner of the computer repair shop where Biden purportedly left his laptop, the host predicted that the “Russia hysteria will not age well,” adding: “Everyone’s admitting the laptop was not Russian disinformation. It’s real. It was Hunter Biden’s.”

Hunter Biden declined a request for an interview through his lawyer.

The illumination of the Biden-Carlson relationship is one of the more unexpected chapters in the trove of correspondence included on the copy of the Biden laptop, much of which has been widely cited to document Biden’s overseas business dealings during his father’s time in office as well as his personal travails.

A copy of the laptop hard drive was provided to The Post by Jack Maxey, an activist who received a copy from Rudy Giuliani in 2020, at a time when Maxey was working with Stephen K. Bannon and his “War Room” podcast. Two security experts who did a forensic analysis of the data at the request of The Post were able to verify a portion of the emails as authentic communications. The emails cited in this report were either verified by the analysts or recently corroborated by a person familiar with the communications.

After articles surfaced in the New York Post in October 2020, The Washington Post had requested a copy of the material to independently assess — repeatedly asking Giuliani and Bannon for a copy of the data to review before the election — but the requests were rebuffed or ignored. The Washington Post wrote about the New York Post articles at the time and, in March, began publishing reports based on its own review of the data.

The request for Hunter Biden to help their son get into Georgetown came at a time when the Bidens and the Carlsons were close. “Tucker and I would be so grateful if you could write a letter or speak to someone in the Georgetown Admission’s Office about Buckley,” Susie Carlson wrote.

Biden wrote back that he would be honored, and he agreed to prepare a letter to the president of the university. “I will do anything you would like me to do.”

Tucker Carlson supplied a summary of his son’s attributes, hobbies and academic record. He added that his son was a compulsive reader, enjoyed the outdoors and spent a month on a sailboat.

The next day, Carlson sent a note of gratitude.

“I can’t thank you enough for writing that letter to Georgetown on Bucky’s behalf,” he wrote. “So nice of you. I know it’ll help. Hope you’re great and we can all get dinner soon.”

ABC News heavily edited an interview with Robert F. Kennedy Jr, in which he made claims about the safety of vaccines. Kennedy is an environmental lawyer and an outspoken critic of mandatory vaccinations who is running for president as a Democrat in 2024.

Fox News is trying to sideline former Tucker Carlson Tonight host Tucker Carlson through the 2024 election, multiple sources familiar with the matter told Breitbart News.

Carlson’s current contract runs through December 2024, and as of now three sources familiar with the matter told Breitbart News that executives at the network are trying to keep Carlson on contract and not release him until after the 2024 election. The shocking decision to cancel Carlson’s top-rated weeknight program came just days after the networkshut down its top-rated weekend program with host Dan Bongino. What follows here is an insider account from people actually in the know after Breitbart News spent the past several days interviewing key players in the personnel matters at Fox News, asking what really happened.

Two things are clear from speaking to people who actually know what’s happening on the inside: First, theofficial narrative from the network is untrue. Second, and perhaps more importantly, many of the leaks and speculation that have poured out in the past couple days since the bombshell news of Carlson’s show getting canceled was announced are also simply untrue.

Nobody would speak on the record, for a number of reasons. First off, Fox News and the broader Murdoch empire are known for their ruthlessness against anyone who speaks the truth about what is actually happening there. Network spokeswoman Irena Briganti is believed to use outlets alsoowned by the Murdochs like the New York Post and Wall Street Journalto plant pieces that reflect poorly on foes of News Corporation.

Secondly, both Carlson and Bongino are technically still under contract by the network. Bongino’s contract runs through the end of April and Carlson’s through the 2024 general election. Both are, sources say, trying to negotiate exit packages—and even after they formally have those agreements in place, there will be non-disparagement clauses that prevent them from ever speaking the truth about this.

In response to requests for comment on this story, Fox News spokespersons just reissued to Breitbart News the same public statements that the network issued when announcing Carlson’s and Bongino’s departures.

“FOX News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways,” the Fox News statement on Carlson reads. We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor.”

“We thank Dan for his contributions and wish him success in his future endeavors,” the Fox News statement on Bongino reads.

The brazen power play by the Murdoch family—at the helm of which is elderly patriarch Rupert Murdoch, but rising in power are his sons Lachlan and James Murdoch—is like a scene out of the hit HBO show Succession.

They wiped out their biggest shows both on weekends and on weekdays to show the rest of the staff who’s the real boss, but in effect insiders saythey have created a crisis that is quickly burgeoning out of control. In Succession, an aging media mogul, Logan Roy, navigates major business decisions for his sprawling empire while his children aggressively use whatever leverage they have to manipulate goings-on to advance their own positions. The University of Chicago asked Americans whether humans were causing all or most of climate change and found that 60% held this belief five years ago, but now the number has slumped to 49%. In addition, the poll found that Americans are unwilling to spend more than $2.50 a week to combat climate change. The second poll from IPSOS that represented two-thirds of the world’s population also found that nearly four people in every 10 believe climate change is mainly due to natural causes.

“As of right now, the plan remains the same: pay out Carlson’s contract and keep him on the sidelines through the 2024 elections,” one source close to Fox News senior executives told Breitbart News. “They knew they would take a beating for this, but everyone — and I mean everyone — is pretty rattled. They weren’t expecting the blowback to be this bad. Hate to say it, but it’s clear that Rupert has lost a step or two.”

That is objectively true: The “blowback” has been severe this week, as evidenced by a steep drop in Fox News ratings in the 8:00 p.m. ET hour day over day:

Multiple other sources told Breitbart News this detail about Carlson’s contract. “He’s still not fired, you know that right?” another Fox News source said about Carlson. “His contract is still ongoing.”

A third source close to Carlson also said it, noting that the Murdochs may end up trying to hold Carlson in his contract through the next presidential election to effectively silence him and keep him from becoming serious competition to them, whatever he ends up doing.

Former Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly also reported that detail on her show on Thursday, saying that Carlson and Fox News are negotiating his exit and that while his show is canceled and he has been kicked out of his company email address, his contract is still in effect, which keeps him from doing something else.

The Murdoch family has owned Fox News since its inception, and with it they wield immeasurable power over the American populace. They technically control what shows up in news programming on the television screens of millions of Americans, but whether and when they exercise that control has varied over their decades of running it. Much like the Roy family in Succession, there are lots of times when the Murdochs have seemed either oblivious or indifferent—or both—to what exactly is appearing on their network. But there are occasions throughout its history when something rises to the level, on a business decision level, where they have felt the need to intervene and change things. For instance, during the 2016 presidential election, they ousted longtime and founding network head Roger Ailes, who a short time later passed away—and right now, they are stepping in to wipe out two major shows, thereby sending a message to everyone else that they are in fact the bosses.

Since Ailes’ ouster, though, the Murdochs have been on a long stream of indifference, mostly, at Fox News. Tucker Carlson Tonight first went on the air in November 2016, and the show aired until this week at 8:00 p.m. every weeknight. Carlson regularly was edgy in his content, questioning establishment Republicans—the Murdochs’ friends in the donor class in other words—and hammering things like a desire by some for endless war.

The tradeoff for the Murdochs was, despite the disruption that Carlson brought to their social circles, he was a ratings machine and represented in the truest possible way a ratings boomtown for the network. Carlson’s first show was less than a week after Donald Trump’s shocking victory in the 2016 presidential election, and having someone more ideological aligned with Trump in primetime—though Carlson did regularly disagree with Trump even though they shared skepticisms of many powers-that-be—helped thenetwork that had tried just a year earlier to destroy Trump’s 2016 campaignrehabilitate its image with the right.

If the 2016 election was one “inflection point” for Fox News, as one insider told Breitbart

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy released over 40,000 hours of unseen footage from the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, to former Fox News host Tucker Carlson earlier this year. Now, pressure is mounting on McCarthy over the Jan. 6 tapes because he gave Carlson, who was fired from Fox News on Monday, access to the footage earlier this year.

McCarthy has promised to give the public and media access to the tapes after his team reviews all of the footage to address any potential security concerns.

“This is the challenge. The Democrats told us it was only 14,000 hours of tapes, lo and behold, we take the majority and it’s 42,000 hours, so that would take me years to go all the way through. Yeah, I think the public should see what’s happened to them. We’ve worked with the Capitol Police [to] tell us about [any] section that there was a problem. And that takes a long time. But we want to make sure everybody has the opportunity to come and see what they want,” McCarthy said. “So we’ve created the process to make that start happening.”

Now, nearly a month after his promise, several mainstream media outlets are turning up the heat on McCarthy to get access to the footage.

“Nine major media organizations have sued the Justice Department and the FBI for access to the video footage of the Jan. 6 insurrection. The nine include The New York Times, CNN, the Associated Press, and ProPublica. Public materials must be truly public. If Mr. McCarthy can give the stash to one talk show host, he can, and should, give it to every media organization and the public at large,” The Post-Gazette reported.

“That’s why the speaker must release the material to everyone. Everyone must have the chance to watch it and decide the narrative, and the more narratives we have, the better chance the public has of knowing what happened,” the outlet added.

MSNBC host Joe Scarborough is also calling for McCarthy to “get any January 6, 2020, Capitol riot footage back from Carlson” and wants the footage released to the media to share.

Co-host Mika Brzezinski said, “I think the question about the January 6 tapes is a really big one. What exactly happens to those? Do they stay in his possession?”

Scarborough said, “It just shows how ridiculously, outrageously irresponsible of Kevin McCarthy to send security tapes to a conspiracy theorist. Again, just mind-bending, that he sends this information to somebody who is supporting an insurrection against the United States of America and provides security tapes. That’s what any insurrectionist, future insurrectionist, would want to see. It is really it’s frightening. Kevin McCarthy needs to get the tapes back. And he needs to get lawyers to have documents signed that they’re not going to be used anywhere else in the future, or any of its contents revealed.”

Brzezinski said, “I wonder why only Kevin McCarthy has a say over those security tapes?”

Scarborough said, “It is really shocking. It puts the Capitol Hill police in danger. It puts members of Congress in danger. It puts everybody in danger that works at the United States Capitol, but he did it. Like you said, where are the tapes now?”

Last month, House Republicans announced they are launching their own version of a Jan. 6 committee that will “reinvestigate” what happened at the U.S. Capitol in 2021.

“Post-2020, when Fox was really hurting, there was sort of ashift to the right byFox to cover their flank,” one former Fox News staffer told Breitbart News. “It’s why they brought in Bongino. They gave Jesse 7:00 p.m. They got Tucker to do the Fox Nation shows. They replaced Shannon Bream’s 11:00 p.m. show with Greg Gutfeld’s show. They generally became more conservative as a network.”

In so doing, with the hard push to the right that began when Trump won in 2016 and essentially accelerated post-2020 because of network moves to undercut him when Biden won, there was what amounted to a Wild West-like environment at Fox News where management—in other words, the Murdochs and their agents—receded and the hosts and talent did what they wanted.

“In [Carlson’s] hour he did whatever he wanted to do in that hour,” one network insider told Breitbart News. “That made it unique and made it poignant television because you didn’t know what topic would be discussed and how it would be discussed.”

But everything changed with the Dominion settlement. When Fox News settled for nearly $800 million with the company, the staggering sum of the settlement—and the amount of other suits barreling down the pike against Fox News from Smartmatic and from former producer Abby Grossberg—the Murdochs were rattled, per these network sources.

Multiple sources familiar with the matter told Breitbart News that Carlson never actually met Grossberg in person during her months as a producer for his show, something others have reported already.

Several sources familiar with the matter said thatthey quickly moved to reestablish control over their media empireand by ousting Bongino and Carlson they sent a message internally to everyone else that they best remember who’s in charge.

“It’s like when in your first day in prison you find the biggest, baddest, meanest dude in the yard and beat the living shit out of him,” another network insider told Breitbart News.

“From that day forward, everyone knows not to fuck with you. That’s what the Murdochs just did by getting rid of Tucker and Dan—anyone who would have challenged their vision for the direction of this company has learned that if you fuck around you will find out something not so good for yourself.”

Another Fox News source confirmed this sentiment, noting that even though Carlson is not to blame for the issues that led to the settlement—they said others were, mostly, responsible for it—the message is clear. “At the core of that is hosts doing what they want without much oversight,” this source said.

“That sort of happened in the post-Ailes area. People forget that Fox used to be much more centrist because it used to be top-down.”

“This change at Fox makes it more fundamentally top-down driven,” this person added. “Only recently did Fox try and reflect grassroots conservatism more. I think we’re going to see a reversion to the Fox of the past, where it’s fewer segments attacking Mitch McConnell andgenerally dumbed down.”

What’s truly interesting is just how much blowback Fox is getting from its audience for canceling Carlson’s and Bongino’s shows—something that the brass, includingthe Murdochs, seem to not have calculated clearly ahead of time. In fact, the ratings crashed in primetime this week and Carlson’s own video released on Twitter on Wednesday evening in its first hour post-publication got more views online than the network’s 8:00 p.m. hour—his old time slot—got in total ratings. For now,the Murdochs think they are above it all and that this too shall pass.

“As the Dominion thing got uglier, and particularly the Grossberg thing, which is getting uglier by the minute, the Murdochs just want a clean slate,” a fourth network insider told Breitbart News. “The election is coming up next year, and they think they’re going to get their viewers back anyway because there’s nowhere else to go.”

Another interesting detail about all of this is how quickly the Murdochs shifted gears. While Bongino has been classy in his public comments about everything—his Rumble video announcing the end of his time at Fox News got well over a million views—the truth of the matter is far more complicated and as one person said “bizarre.”

While Bongino had his battles with Fox News management over a number of things—them editing his interview with Trump, for instance, was a sore spot—he got along well with everyone there and just was not sure he wanted to take Fox News up on the offer to renew the show due to the scheduling problems.

Negotiations were ongoing for a while, and Fox News were the ones pursuing Bongino, this source said: “There was a lot of back and forth and there was never a hint they didn’t want to renew the show, ever.” “As a matter of fact, they made multiple repeated offers to renew the show—it was never in question,” the source added.

So, what’s mind-boggling to network insiders is that Bongino appeared to come to an agreement weeks ago on a renewal. “There’s not two versions of this—this is the only version,” the source with intricate knowledge of Bongino’s discussions with Fox News added. “This is what happened.”

“He honestly did it because he just really felt bad,” this source said. “He’s been there for years and he’s got friends there.”

Then Fox News settled with Dominion—and promptly, management at the networkcalled Bongino saying they “changed their minds—they’re not interested.”

Bongino went on his own show on Rumble the next day and announced his departure from Fox—Fox had wanted him to go on air and do one last show, which he did not want to do and said he would just announce it on his show.

“Fox was a little worried he was going to flame them,” this source said, but Bongino did not—and instead aired a very classy announcement telling his fans his show was ending and publicly downplaying any disagreements with the network.

A few days after that, on Monday morning of this week, Fox News cut Carlson and the picture came much more into focus as to what exactly was going on.Bongino and Carlson, one source said, “were considered the two most likely to say ‘fuck you’ to management,” a network insider said, adding that Bongino “gave zero fucks, and Tucker gave even less fucks.”

One network source told Breitbart News that the Bongino and Carlson ousters “are so obviously tied together that anyone can see it clearly.” “After the Dominion settlement, there was clearly a meeting at the network—I don’t know if it was a board meeting or just the Murdochs, but someone made a decision—and said these two are the biggest threats to the network and they don’t listen to anyone,” the source said. “Neither one of them were controllable, and they were just doing their own thing. They were developing such a profile that it became problems for them. They just decided on Wednesday to cut bait.”

Every network source that Breitbart News spoke to made clear they do not think this is an effort by Fox News management or the Murdoch family to try to stop Trump in the 2024 GOP primary. They also downplayed the idea, floated by some like Vanity Fair’s Gabriel Sherman, that this had to do with Carlson’s Christianity.

“That’s just fabricated and totally made up,” one source said. “I don’t think it’s about MAGA stuff either.” “It’s not about religion. It’s not about the MAGA stuff,” that source added. “It’s that the two of them did not listen to anybody.

They did their own thing and their own shit, andFox has a brand. The brand is ‘You will rep our company, shut the fuck up, and do what we tell you.’That’s why they love Kilmeadeand these people because that’s what they do.”

While the Murdochs clearly do not like Trump, a second person added, Trump’s strong performance in the polls for now means going against him would be akin to rocking the boat—and basically what the Carlson and Bongino moves signal is a move by the Murdochs away from anything edgy, and that includes slamming the brakes on any efforts to try to significantly shake up the 2024 GOP primary.

“I think this has less to do with Trump and DeSantis andmore to do with people like Mitch McConnell and John Thune,” this source said. “The change in the programming will be that if there’s some sort of controversial bill moving on Capitol Hill, Tucker would often use his show to try to kill it. That sort of stuff won’t be going on anymore. I just think thenetwork and the programming will be dumber, rah rah Republicans. Milquetoast content. It’s a reversion to what Fox was. The Tucker era at Fox was a deviation from the norm at Fox.”

German intelligence labels AfD’s youth wing ‘extremist’

Members of Junge Alternative can be surveilled covertly and their phones tapped under the designation

Germany’s Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution (BfV) has declared Junge Alternative (JA), the youth wing of the right-wing Alternative fur Deutschland (AfD) party, to be an extremist organization, the domestic intelligence agency announced in a press release on Wednesday.

JA members can be targeted with all intelligence tools available to the BfV, including covert surveillance, confidential informants, and phone tapping, Die Welt reported on Wednesday. The extremist designation will make it more difficult for them to be employed by the government or obtain weapons licenses. The BfV has been monitoring the youth group as a “suspected case” of extremism since January 2019.

The youth group’s hostility to migrants was central to the BfV’s decision, as the agency explained the JA’s view of Germany as a nation of Germans holding other ethnicities and migrants to be second-class citizens is incompatible with the nation’s Basic Law.

The JA supports a “nation that is as ethnoculturally homogenous as possible, excludes migrants of non-European origin as fundamentally impossible to integrate, and sees the greatest danger in a supposedly controlled population exchange to destroy the ‘organically grown European peoples’,” the BfV stated.

“In particular, immigrants with a (supposed) Muslim background are attributed negative characteristics in a sweeping manner, such as cultural backwardness and a disproportionately strong tendency to crime and violence, simply because of their origin and religion,” the agency continued. The JA also disparages Germany’s democratic system, it added, claiming members don’t just target political opponents but defame the system of democracy itself.

The JA is reportedly reviewing its legal options, though the group said it was not surprised by the extremist designation or the intelligence services’ drive to crush dissent.

“Regardless of whether they are critics of migration, critics of coronavirus measures or advocates of peace – every form of authentic opposition in this country is systematically stigmatized by this authority,” the JA’s board stated.

While the AfD holds seats in 15 of 16 state parliaments and commands the support of 15-17% of the electorate, its highest numbers yet since its founding ten years ago, the party has been illegally shut out of the two main public news channels and was labeled a suspected threat to democracy last March.

If the AfD is given the same extremist designation as its youth wing, some in the party fear it will ultimately be banned.

US Officials Reject Compensation For People Diagnosed With COVID-19 Vaccine Injuries

U.S. authorities rejected multiple people who sought compensation for COVID-19 vaccine injuries, despite diagnoses from doctors, documents show.

Letters from U.S. officials reviewed by The Epoch Times show officials contradicting doctors who treated patients as they turned down requests for payment.

Cody Flint, an agricultural pilot, was diagnosed by four doctors with a severe adverse reaction to Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine. Shortly after being vaccinated, Flint experienced intense head pressure, which led to problems such as perilymphatic fistula, the doctors said.

Flint sent a slew of medical files, including evidence of the diagnoses, to the U.S. Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program (CICP), which compensates people who prove they were injured by a COVID-19 shot.

But administrators for the program rejected Flint’s application in a denial letter, saying they “did not find the requisite evidence that the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccination caused” the conditions from which he suffers.

Flint, in his 30s, felt his first symptoms within an hour of vaccination. An onslaught of severe symptoms followed while he was flying two days later.

“One second I went from having burning in the back of my neck and tunnel vision to the very next second I was slumped over in my airplane. The best way I know to describe it, it was like a bomb went off inside my head,” Flint said.

CICP administrators told him that “compelling, reliable and valid medical and scientific evidence does not support a causal association between the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine and benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, perilymphatic fistulas, increased intracranial pressure, Eustachian tube dysfunction, hearing loss, or loss of eyesight.”

They also tried to pin the problems on barotrauma. Colloquially known as airplane ear, barotrauma happens when air pressure suddenly changes, and is common as planes climb higher in the sky. Barotrauma causes the fistulas and symptoms of the fistulas “began while flying,” administrators wrote.

Flint and his doctors asserted in appeal letters that the barotrauma theory doesn’t hold up because Flint flies low as he dusts crops. A think tank released a new bombshell report this week revealing that the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals only provides 2% of its total budget to pet shelters throughout the United States, despite having hundreds of millions of dollars and providing many employees with six-figure salaries.

The Center for the Environment and Welfare, a new think tank dedicated to sustainability and animal welfare, released a report exposing the ASPCA, a nonprofit organization formed to prevent animal cruelty, for deceptively using donors' dollars to support "radical and elitist" anti-farmer policies instead of funding animal shelters.

In conjunction with the shocking report, the think tank announced the launch of a new media campaign to "expose the duplicity" of the ASPCA.

According to CEW, the ASPCA's most recent tax filings revealed that the nonprofit had $390 million in revenue and $575 million in assets, including roughly $11 million in offshore Caribbean accounts.

"The same filings show that only about 2% of the ASPCA's budget is given as grants to community pet shelters," CEW reported.

The report alleged that 259 ASPCA employees made six-figure incomes, including the organization's CEO, Matt Bershadker, who made $856,785.

Despite its misleading name, the ASPCA only operates one animal adoption center and is not affiliated with local SPCAs, CEW stated.

The think tank also slammed the nonprofit for attempting to implement harmful agricultural policies that would further increase food costs for Americans.

The ASPCA and 40 other animal rights groups are leading an effort to place a nationwide moratorium on new and expanding large animal feeding operations. The radical agenda would require existing operations to shut down by 2040. "In addition to exposing the ASPCA's dishonest marketing, CEW is also calling out the ASPCA's attempts to commandeer the Farm Bill by promoting radical and elitist agriculture policies that will hurt farmers, hurt consumers, and drive up food costs without improving animal welfare," the think tank wrote in a recent press release.

CEW's executive director, Jack Hubbard, stated, "Congress shouldn't allow the ASPCA and other radical anti-farm groups to hijack the Farm Bill. Groups that disregard science, ignore veterinarians, and want to shut down animal agriculture have no business shaping the country's farm policies."

Hubbard told Fox News Digital that CEW's effort to expose the ASPCA "is not a flash in the pan" but rather a "sustained campaign."

Groups Pushing Vaccine Passports, Mandates were Quietly Funded by Pfizer

Most of these groups did not disclose the funding from Pfizer.

Pfizer, the manufacturer of one of the most widely used COVID-19 vaccines in the country, silently funded groups advocating for vaccine mandates and passports, according to a report by Lee Fang (paywalled).

In August 2021, the president of the Chicago Urban League, Karen Freeman-Wilson, in an interview on TV, argued that vaccine mandates would not disproportionately harm the black community.

“The health and safety factor here far outweighs the concern about shutting people out or creating a barrier,” Freeman-Wilson said at the time.

Earlier that year, the Chicago Urban League had received $100,000 from Pfizer for a project on promoting “vaccine safety and effectiveness.” The organization did not list Pfizer as a donor or partner on its website and Freeman-Wilson did not mention the funding during the interview.

The Chicago Urban League grant is one of many Pfizer-awarded groups to promote and encourage vaccine mandates. The pharmaceutical giant awarded grants to public health organizations, civil rights groups, as well as consumer, medical, and doctors’ groups. Most of these groups did not disclose the funding from Pfizer.

Corporate watchdog group the National Consumers League announced support for “government and employer mandates” requiring Covid vaccination in August 2021. The announcement came at around the same time the organization received a $75,000 grant from Pfizer for “vaccine policy efforts.”

Houston-based public health organization the Immunization Partnership publicly lobbied against bills introduced in Texas aimed at banning vaccine passports and vaccine mandates. The organization did not disclose that Pfizer gave it $35,000 earlier that year for “legislative advocacy.”

House Votes Down Resolution to Withdraw from Somalia

The measure was introduced by Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) and received some support from progressive Democrats

The House on Thursday voted down a War Powers Resolution introduced by Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) that would have directed President Biden to remove all US troops from Somalia within one year, except those guarding the US embassy.

The resolution failed in a vote of 102-321. It received support from 52 Republicans and 50 Democrats.

While the resolution was led by Gaetz and had six Republican co-sponsors, it also received support from progressive Democrats. During the debate on the floor, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) argued in favor of the resolution.

“Members of Progressive Caucus leadership will vote for the Somalia war powers resolution,” a congressional staffer told The Intercept ahead of the vote.

US operations in Somalia have escalated since President Biden ordered the deployment of up to 500 troops to the country last year, although Gaetz said there are 900 US troops there. The US-backed Mogadishu-based government also launched an offensive against al-Shabaab last year, leading to an escalation in fighting on the ground.

While there has been an escalation of the war over the past year, there’s been a recent lull in US airstrikes. The last US strike in Somalia that was reported by US Africa Command took place in February.

“The United States has had a military presence in Somalia since 1992, but it’s been a costly and mostly fruitless endeavor. Somalia is entrenched in violence and political instability that has persisted for decades, and there seems to be no end in sight,” Gaetz said on Thursday.

“America has a responsibility to protect its citizens and defend its interests, but Somalia is not a vital national security concern. Instead of pouring more resources into a never-ending conflict, our country should prioritize its own needs and focus on issues that directly impact our neighbors. It is time to bring our troops home and let Somalia find its own path to stability,” he added.

The bill was the second War Powers Resolution led by Gaetz, who has vowed to continue introducing similar legislation to force debate on US interventions in the Middle East and Africa. He hinted on the floor that the next resolution might cover US operations in Niger.

In March, the House rejected a Syria War Powers Resolution introduced by Gaetz. The vote fell along similar lines, failing 103-321, with 56 Democrats and 47 Republicans voting in favor of the bill. It also received support from progressive Democrats and Republicans aligned with Gaetz.

America’s food supply loaded with petrochemical pesticide and fertilizer residues linked to children’s health problems

The advocacy group Beyond Pesticides issued a special report in its journal “Pesticides and You” this week called “Transformative Change: Informed by Science, Policy, and Action” that highlights the “shocking scientific findings that compel us to act in our communities, states, and as a nation and world community.”

The 168-page issue contains a review of last year’s scientific, peer-reviewed articles, policy deficiencies, and action for change points concerning the prolific use of petrochemical pesticides and fertilizers in the conventional food supply, warning that these toxic substances are harming people, animals, and the environment.

Unless something is done to rein in all this chemical contamination, children will continue to get sick, biodiversity will vanish, and the world will become a toxic waste dump filled with cancer-causing, life-destroying chemicals.

The chemicals being used to grow food are destroying both people and planet

The report is broken down into three parts – health, biodiversity, and climate – each of which is addressed at-length using science. Concerning the first part, we know that the human health impacts of all this pesticide and fertilizer exposure are substantial.

In children, exposure is linked to motor skill deficiency, respiratory diseases, ear infections, oxidative stress, DNA damage and cancer, diabetes, developmental delays, early onset puberty, and autism.

In people of all ages, exposure to chemical pesticides and fertilizers in the food supply is linked to gut microbiome damage and associated conditions like inflammatory bowel disease (IBS) and metabolic distress.

In general, chemical exposure through the food supply is linked to neurological conditions like Parkinson’s disease, not to mention various forms of cancer. Then there is all the male infertility and endocrine disruption being reported in conjunction with exposure.

As for the animal and plant kingdoms, all these crop and food chemicals are causing insect populations to plummet, including that of honeybees and other pollinators that are getting sick and dying at increasing rates.

Birds and aquatic life are also being negatively impacted, as are their water sources, which are becoming contaminated with everything that crop producers are spraying on their fields.

One major culprit that you may already be aware of is glyphosate, the primary active ingredient in Roundup weedkiller, which is showing up in water sources, soils, and inside people’s bodies.

From a climate perspective, all these chemicals are hardly doing the environment any favors. In fact, if things continue on the current trajectory, then eventually there will be a widespread environmental collapse, resulting in not enough food to feed the world’s population.

Beyond Pesticides supports efforts to ban such chemicals from being used, and some local communities are doing just that with chemical bans at public parks or in food served to children at schools.

The “Transformative Change” publication the group released highlights the dire need for a massive transformation away from these chemicals and into a more sustainable methods of land and building management that aligns with nature and food production for the benefit of humanity.

“The transformative solution is a partnership with nature, practices that have been adopted in organic systems,” says Jay Feldman, executive director of Beyond Pesticides.

Florida governor likely seeking billionaire’s support, but must overcome her admiration of Nikki Haley, previous backing of Trump and plan to stay neutral in primaries

Florida Governor and presumptive presidential nominee Ron DeSantis was spotted dining in Jerusalem this week with Israeli-American billionaire Miriam Adelson.

She was among several major Republican donors at the dinner hosted Wednesday by Larry Mizel, an American businessman who helped found the Museum of Tolerance where the meal was being held. Mizel was the finance chairman for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign office in Colorado during the 2016 race.

DeSantis sat in between Mizel and Adelson, according to Axios, which broke the story.

Miriam and her late husband, casino mogul Sheldon Adelson, backed DeSantis during his successful 2018 gubernatorial run, donating $500,000 to the Friends of Ron DeSantis PAC.

DeSantis is likely seeking Adelson’s support once again, as he is expected to announce his candidacy for president in the coming weeks, though he faces an uphill battle.

UK allegedly censored report on British neo-Nazis fighting in Ukraine

British spies are afraid the far right will establish connections with other extremists on the battlefield, the document suggests

A British intelligence report on the global threat ofright-wing terrorism includes a completely redacted section on ‘returning foreign fighters’ from an unnamed European country, highly likely to be Ukraine.

Published last July, the Intelligence and Security Committee of Parliament’s report on ‘Extreme Right-Wing Terrorism’ gave British lawmakers an overview of the threat posed by right-wing radicals at home and abroad.

Drawn from material provided by Britain’s multiple intelligence agencies, including MI5 and MI6, the 130-page report includes detailed sections on right-wing violence in northern Europe and North America.

However, one section that follows those on northern Europe and the US and Canada is entirely redacted, its six paragraphs replaced by asterisks.

A semi-redacted paragraph offers some further context. It states that British intelligence officers are concerned that “There is no process in place to monitor those ‘G***’ individuals who have travelled overseas for Extreme Right-Wing Terrorism-related purposes and have returned to the UK.”

It notes that “there is a strong possibility that these returning foreign fighters, some of whom may have fought ***, will have been further radicalised” in the unnamed country, and will have “developed connections with others who share their Extreme Right-Wing ideology.”

“There is little doubt that for *** we are talking about interesting details of the situation in one of the countries of Eastern Europe,” Russian journalist and Kremlin critic Max Solopov wrote on Telegram on Thursday. “Especially considering that the UK is the most involved country in the Ukrainian conflict after Russia.”

Extremist ideology in Ukraine was covered extensively by the Western media before the start of Russia’s military operation last February. White supremacists from Germany, the US, UK, Scandinavia, and elsewhere traveled to Ukraine from 2014 onwards to join the neo-Nazi Azov militia, which would go on to be formally integrated into the Ukrainian military.

When the numbers of foreign fighters entering Ukraine multiplied last year, theUS Customs and Border Patrolwarned in a memo that “Ukrainian nationalistgroups including the Azo[v] Movement areactively recruitingracially or ethnically motivated violent extremist-white supremacists to join various neo-Nazi volunteer battalions.”

“What kind of training are foreign fighters receiving in Ukraine that they could possibly proliferate in US based militia and white nationalist groups?” the document asked, noting an “intelligence gap” in US law enforcement at the time.

Shortly before Russia’s military operation began, UK counterterrorism police were deployed to British airports to question people traveling to Ukraine.

According to The Guardian, officers were looking to identify “far-right extremists” seeking weapons training and military experience.

Such reports have since vanished from the Western media, replaced by stories sympathetic to foreign volunteers and articles downplaying the Azov Regiment’s neo-Nazi roots.

"It is unacceptable and abhorrent for public officials duly elected to represent New Yorkers, many of whom are Jewish, to be against ending antisemitism."

Vernikov, who represents the 48th district, wrote on Twitter ahead of the vote: “Thanks to my colleagues on Cultural Affairs my resolution to proclaim April 29 as End Jew Hatred Day passed committee and will go to a full vote on the floor on Thursday. Let’s work together to end Jew hatred.”

She added that the proposed resolution comes amid skyrocketing rates of antisemitic violence against the city’s Jewish community and noted that an estimated 97 percent of antisemitic hate crimes occur against Hasidic and Orthodox Jews, whom she called “visibly Jewish.” Jews in New York City make up approximately 9 percent of the city's population, making the Jewish community the largest in the world outside of Israel.

Local leaders took to Twitter Friday to condemn those who did not support the resolution.

New York Congressman Ritchie Torres wrote: "Antisemitism has a long and ugly history. It has seen a resurgence in NYC with a record # of hate crimes. How can anyone vote against a resolution to end Antisemitism?"

Imam Ahmed Ali, a New York Police Department clergy member, congratulated Vernikov on passing the resolution and wrote: "We must remember that hate against anyone is hate against all of us."

The campaign for “End Jew Hatred Day” is led by End Jew Hatred Movement, a grassroots nonprofit organization “centering on Jewish liberation from all forms oppression and discrimination,” according to its website. End Jew Hatred Day passed in legislatures in five cities and states across the country.

Hanif, a Muslim Bangladeshi American freshman on the council voted against the measure and said criticism of that move is "extremely disrespectful."

“I think it is extremely disrespectful to be called antisemitic on the floor based off of just one action when I continue to show up for our Jewish colleagues and communities,” said Hanif, who succeeded City Comptroller Brad Lander in the 39th District.

Montana senator Jon Tester bills himself as a moderate Democrat willing to criticize his party's left-wing elements—like the progressive policies pushed by his latest financial backers, George and Alexander Soros.

The Soroses last month nearly maxed out campaign contributions to Tester, each giving $2,800, according to campaign finance disclosures, making the red-state Democrat the only candidate to whom both father and son have contributed this election cycle. Though the two pour millions of dollars every year into a variety of left-wing causes, their direct political support so far this cycle has been sparse. The elder Soros has given to only two candidates aside from Tester, Sen. Chris Murphy (D., Conn.) and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D., N.Y.), both of whom are politically safe. His son Alexander Soros has given to only Tester and Rep. Ruben Gallego (D., Ariz.), who this cycle is targeting Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I., Ariz.), a former Democrat, from the left.

Tester's support from the Soros family highlights the political tightrope he will have to walk in his bid for reelection. Tester, considered one of the most vulnerable Democratic incumbents in the 2024 cycle, will need to raise money from major Democratic donors in what is likely to be one of the most expensive Senate races of 2024. But the senator, who recently said that he brings a "dirt-under-your-fingernails perspective to Washington," will have to avoid embracing left-wing policies unpopular in the Big Sky Country.

The elder Soros gives tens of millions of dollars a year to groups that support the movements to defund police, expand the Supreme Court, and restrict gun ownership. He has contributed $1.45 million to Color of Change, a civil rights organization that has called to defund police. He funds a variety of gun control groups and has stated, "I'm very much against guns."

Tester has spoken out against those policies, saying the average Montanan views the Democratic Party as "toxic" for ignoring rural voters.

"The defund the police stuff is garbage," said Tester, who also says he is a "strong supporter of the Second Amendment." Asked whether he supports packing the Supreme Court, Tester quipped, "Ix-nay on that bullshit-ay."

Tester's dilemma—balancing a centrist bent while wooing deep-pocketed Democratic donors—was on display last month following the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank. Tester criticized a federal bailout of the bank and pledged to hold bank executives and regulators "accountable." But the same day, Tester attended a fundraiser in Palo Alto, Calif., organized by a lawyer for the firm that represents Silicon Valley Bank.

Another fundraiser host serves on the board of the National Resources Defense Council, an environmentalist group that repeatedly sued the Trump administration to shut down the Keystone XL pipeline, the Washington Free Beacon reported. The host, National Resources Defense Council board member Nicole Lederer, has said the pipeline "is against the best interest of our country."

Tester publicly supported the pipeline, saying that it "would have yielded big benefits" for Montana.
